After The Dream:
Why you, Boscha?

Kikimora lifted her head when she heard the door to the "Dungeon" open. She couldn't help but grin slightly when she saw who was visiting her.

"What do I owe the pressure, President?" the demon asked mockingly.

Boscha scowled deeply as she stopped in front of the "cage" the students of New Hexside had set up in the abomination classroom. Kikimora noticed this, and her grin grew a little more.

"What's the matter, Boscha?" she asked, the mocking in her voice growing. "Already missing my aid?"

Boscha growled, and Kikimora heard it. The demon looked at her old puppet and saw how angry she was; she figured a little more needling, and the girl would completely lose it.

"Why me?" Boscha suddenly asked.

Kikimora was surprised by the question but didn't let show on her face.

"Why you, what?" the small demon asked emotionlessly.

"Why did you make me your stooge?" Boscha snapped, only to have a hint of arrogance enter her eyes. "I mean, I know I'm the best Hexside had to offer. So, it's no wonder why you want to control someone like me. Better to have someone great under your thumb then-"

Boscha was interrupted when Kikimora began to laugh a deep laugh.

The former high-ranking Emperor's Coven member stood up and walked up to her cell door. The hungry look Kikimora was giving the young witch unnerved her enough that she took a step away from the cell.

"That, Boscha," Kikimora exclaimed, "Is why I made you my stooge!"

"What-" Was all Boscha could manage to say.

Kikimora laughed at the young witch's confused expression and began to pace in front of her cell door. Boscha followed the demon with her eyes as she tried to compose herself. Kikimora stopped her pacing and looked Boscha right in the eyes.

"Tell me, President?" Kikimora asked mockingly, "Do you remember what you were doing when I came to Hexside?"

Boscha, her composure regained, looked at the small demon with a glare. She opened her mouth to respond, but Kikimora beat her to it.

"While your classmates were trying to survive in a world that was literally changing every day, you were sitting at the trophy case, staring at nothing," Kikimora said, the mocking in her voice growing with each word. "But what convinced me that you would make the perfect stooge is when one of your friends asked if you were fine?"

Bocha's eyes widened as she remembered the moment Kikimora was talking about. The demon saw this and wished her hands weren't tied so she could make a few mocking gestures.

"Ahh, I see you remember," Kikimora said mockingly. "You put on a grand front; telling your friend that you were fine, doing GREAT even!"

Boscha's head was starting to spin; she starting to see where Kikimora was going with all of this, and it was making her sick.

Kikimora waited for her former stooge to herself together before she continued. It took nearly five minutes before Boscha was able to put herself together and the small demon took that as her cue.

"Putting it together, are we?" she asked gleefully, which earned her a weak glare from Boscha. "Yes, President, I choose because out of all these students here, you're ego made you the easiest to control. Honestly, you would been a perfect Coven Head, if there were still such a thing."

"W-what do you mean?" Boscha asked, unable to keep her voice from shaking.

Kikimora laughed an empty laugh and began to pace in her cell again as she talked.

"Now knowing his goals, I realized a few things; Belos stroked the egos of his Coven Heads. He made them think they were the most important witches on the Isles. But, all he was doing was keeping those fools close so he could use them to keep the masses under his control."

Kikimora stopped her pacing but didn't look at Boscha. If she had, she would have seen how pale Boscha's face had become.

"Don't you see, child?" The small demon asked, voice hollow, "In the end, Belos used our egos to control everything, all for her grand goals!"

The small demon looked at Boscha and stared deeply into the witch's eyes.

"So, why you, Boscha?" Kikimora asked in a harsh tone, "Because I wanted to be the next Belos, and you would have made the perfect little Coven Head."

Now that most of my health issues are treated, I'm trying to get back into writing. And what better way than my take on the four-year time skip at the end of the show? Now, updates might be irregular as I will try to focus on finishing up my OH Series.
