In this chapter, Atrosis will fight Aviarius. I know she's fought him before. But this time he'll be a lot stronger. Namely because of the powers he now possesses.
But she doesn't have to fight him alone.
She has Team Go on her side.
I'm sure she's looking forward to working with them.
Though it's a bit odd that she's working with Kim Possible. The two of them are usually fighting each other.
Chapter 79: The Tough Get Going
Team Go (along with their allies) arrived in Aviarius's supervillain lair.
It was shaped like a falcon's head. Most likely he wished for the lair to look menacing.
Sure enough, the man was there to greet them.
'Ah, Team Go! You've arrived at my lair! This is perfect! Now I don't have to hunt you down!" shouted Aviarius.
Of course, he had already stolen the powers from most of them.
But he still wanted Shego and Atrosis's powers.
He might as well take Kim's as well, just to make sure she didnt interfere with his schemes.
"We want what you stole from us!" exclaimed Hego.
"Finders keepers! Losers weepers!" taunted the villain who dressed in red.
"You're the one who's going to be crying." remarked Shego.
Atrosis used her powers to try to grab Aviarius's staff.
But he shrunk in size and Atrosis's arm went right over him.
"Whoa! That was a close call!" shouted Aviarius.
"So close, and yet so far away." noted Mego.
"Are you ready to fight this guy, Hego?" asked Atrosis.
"I'm disappointed you decided to turn to the dark side. No good can ever come out of being evil!" exclaimed Hego.
"But Professor Dementor and I are close..." noted the blonde woman.
She was second-in-command for a reason.
Unfortunately for Hego, Mego, and the Wego Twins, they were not used to fighting without their powers.
So they had a hard time dealing with Aviarius's bird army.
The penguins threw fish at them.
"Ugh! I should have brought a noseplug!" exclaimed Mego.
Atrosis and Shego on the other hand were doing rather well.
The former used her powers to grab the flying birds and pull them down.
Shego likewise used her fireballs to attack.
Unfortunately, Aviarius managed to blast her with his staff.
"Not again!" shouted Shego.
Now that birdbrain could use her powers against her.
Though on the lighter side, she knew her powers better than Aviarius did.
Atrosis managed to evade the blasts, for a time.
However, Atrosis was eventually knocked down by one of the birds.
This bird was a raven. It seemed he was sneaky. Ravens did blend in with the darkness, after all. It was one of the perks that came with being one.
"Oof!" exclaimed Atrosis.
Aviarius then seized the opportunity to steal Atrosis's powers.
"Hahahaha! I have your elasticity powers now!" exclaimed Aviarius.
"Is that so?" asked Atrosis.
"Of course! Take a look at the gem!" shouted the bird man.
Sure enough, there was a glint of yellow inside of it.
"You didn't think all that power wouldn't come with a price, did you?" questioned the supervillainess.
"What are you talking about? I'm getting your powers for free!" exclaimed Aviarius.
"Yeah...and everything that comes with it." answered Atrosis.
She pulled out some throwing darts.
"What are you doing?" asked Aviarius.
She tossed one at Aviarius.
It hit him in the arm, though it wasn't the one he was using to carry his staff.
His arm began to deflate.
"What?!" exclaimed Aviarius.
"Clever girl." thought Kim.
"Now that you have my power, you also have my weakness!" exclaimed Atrosis.
"I didn't think this through!" shouted the bird man.
"Nope." answered the blonde.
"I guess power comes at a price." noted Ron.
"Yeah...I had to cash in one of my favors to get my locker door back on my locker." remarked Kim. It was a good thing that she had so many friends from around the world.
She didn't want anyone stealing her stuff. Least of all Bonnie. And she didn't want to make Barkin angry at her for destroying school property. Would it hurt him to be more forgiving for her showing up late to school? Sometimes saving the world overlapped with her school time.
She tossed another dart at Aviarius.
This one caused him to drop the staff he was holding.
"I'll be taking that now." spoke Atrosis.
She grabbed the staff and reobtained her power.
"Excellent! Can you restore our powers as well?" asked Hego.
"Oh no..." spoke Kim.
"What's wrong?" asked the blue-haired man.
"Isn't it obvious? Now that she has the staff she's going to keep it for herself...and she's going to use it for evil." spoke Kim.
"Deja vu..." remarked Shego.
"Actually, I was going to give your powers back.,.once I was done with the staff." spoke Atrosis.
"What?" asked Ron.
He hadn't been expecting that.
It was a pleasant surprise.
"First of all, I'm going to trounce you, Shego!" exclaimed the supervillainess.
Shego gasped. Things were not looking good for her.
"I heard that you've been calling me names behind my back. Like Elastifreak..." noted Atrosis.
Now seemed like a golden opportunity for revenge.
She started off by giving Shego a taste of her own medicine.
"Ow!" exclaimed Shego as she was hit by a green fireball.
"I find that to be very ironic." noted Ron.
"Uh-huh!" exclaimed Rufus. How many fireballs had she tossed at Kim Possible? If he had a naco for every time that Shego had done that, he would have a full belly indeed.
Shego lunged towards Atrosis, but she shrank in size and she hit a wall instead.
Atrosis then approached Shego and used her super strength to toss the green villainess at another wall.
"Oww..." spoke Shego.
This fight was simply not going well for her.
It was like the time that she had decided to take Warmonga on by herself. She was simply out of her league.
Atrosis then created clones of herself.
They all tossed more fireballs at Shego.
"This is not my day." spoke the brunette.
They all hit her and sent her flying.
She landed on the ground very hard.
"You'll pay for that..." murmured Shego.
"I think you're the one paying for your selfishness, actually." answered Atrosis. She heard that Shego had also obtained that staff...and had used it for personal gain.
Some family member she turned out to be.
"Ugh..." spoke the brunette.
"Now then...your turn, Kim Possible!" exclaimed the yellow supervillainess.
"Don't you think the odds are a little...unfair?" asked Kim. It was like taking on the entire Go Team at once. Even if there was only one opponent for her to face.
"Actually, I was planning on going easy on you." answered Atrosis.
"Really?" questioned the cheerleader.
"You helped me get the staff, so why not? And you're not selfish like Shego is so..." noted the blonde. It was her way of returning the favor.
It was a bit of a shame that they happened to be enemies. Maybe if Professor Dementor took a break from being evil they could form a truce. She did enjoy fighting Kim though. She could say that much. Fighting someone that knew eleven styles of kung fu was too good of an opportunity for her to pass up.
Kim sighed in relief.
Additionally, Atrosis decided to return Kim's powers.
"I already have Hego's super strength so..." noted Atrosis.
Kim got ready to fight Atrosis.
However, she had a hard time hitting Atrosis due to the fact that she kept shrinking.
"This shrinking ability works wonders for defense." noted the villainess. Oddly enough, it seemed to be the only power that focused on defense.
Until she tried stomping on Atrosis.
Her rubbery body provided protection from the attack, but it still dazed her for a moment.
"Not bad!" exclaimed Atrosis. She certainly was the girl that could do anything. It didn't seem likely she could stretch her body the way she could though. Maybe that was an exaggeration of Kim's.
She then created copies of herself.
'Now that I think of it...didn't I ask Dementor not to clone me? I'm starting to feel somewhat hypocritical...but then again, I don't think I have to worry about these clones turning against me." admitted Atrosis.
To her knowledge, that had never happened to the Wego Twins.
The clones approached Kim Possible, ready to fight her.
However, due to Kim Possible's super strength, each clone went down in one hit.
She still had her hands full though. She was a bit outnumbered.
Atrosis then fought Kim using Hego's super strength.
Neither was able to gain an advantage over the other.
So Atrosis decided to use Shego's powers instead.
Kim Possible quickly dodged the fireballs.
Luckily she had plenty of experience dodging them. Though sometimes Shego preferred to fight Kim with her claws instead. It depended on her mood.
"Now for the powers I'm most familiar with." noted Atrosis.
Atrosis turned into a wrecking ball, but Kim Possible used her strength to push her away.
The evil sidekick then returned to her normal shape.
"OK, I think I'm done with the staff now!" exclaimed the blonde.
It was certainly fun, but she figured she should return the powers to Team Go. She was a fan of theirs after all. And she figured that they would appreciate that. Would she be a true fan if she decided to hoard all the powers for herself?
Suddenly, Dementor came by with a mech.
He crashed through the wall.
"Darn it! Not again!" exclaimed Aviarius.
He had just finished repairing the other wall too.
"It looks like my ride is here." spoke Atrosis.
"Perfect! You got ze staff! Now hand it over to me so we can rule ze world!" shouted Professor Dementor.
"Hmm, this is a difficult decision." noted the lady with elasticity.
"How so?" questioned her boss. Atrosis had made it all too clear how loyal she was to him.
"On one hand, I was a huge fan of the Go Team growing up. But on the other hand, I have an employer I'm close to who would really like that staff." noted Atrosis.
No doubt he would reward her handsomely if she did give him the staff.
"Choose us! For the side of justice!" exclaimed Hego.
"Yeah, what he said. Whatever." spoke Mego.
"What should I choose?" asked Atrosis.
Suddenly, she saw vines grabbing onto the staff.
"Huh?" questioned the blonde.
As it turned out, it was none other than Dr. Drakken.
They too had arrived on a mech.
And yes, they had crashed through a wall.
"Nooooooo!" exclaimed Aviarius.
At this rate he was going to have to find another supervillain lair.
Were there any that were currently open?
"I'm not letting you and Professor Dementor take over the world! That's my job!" exclaimed Dr. Drakken.
"You don't seem too interested in taking over the world these days." noted Shego. It seemed he was content with helping Dr Doofenshmirtz take over the Tri-State Area. Though they might consider conquering other parts of the world if they succeeded at that.
Personally she would like to beat up Roger Doofenshmirtz. Heinz would likely enjoy that. But he did have that security system of his. Maybe it would be best not to barge in without a plan.
"Well, he sure isn't going to be rubbing it in my face!" shouted the man.
Atrosis played tug-of-war with Dr. Drakken.
"Huh. So this is what it's like on the other side." noted the woman. She had grabbed things from Shego's hands more than once. Personally she thought it was a bit annoying.
In her defense, she didn't usually steal things for herself. And those things Shego had had been stolen to begin with.
Professor Dementor exited his giant robot.
He didn't want the robot's hands to crush the crystal.
He then attempted to grab the staff from Dr. Drakken.
"Zat's my staff!" bellowed Professor Dementor.
"In your dreams!" exclaimed Dr. Drakken.
Unfortunately, without somebody to pilot it, the giant robot suddenly collapsed.
Professor Dementor and Dr. Drakken managed to evade the robot...
...but it ended up crushing the staff.
Sure enough, the powers were all returned to their owners, as they had before.
Shego facepalmed.
"Well, at least now I won't have to choose between the professor and Team Go." noted Atrosis. It looked as if the decision had been made for her.
"No! Now I can't become a supervillain!" bellowed Professor Dementor.
Some dreams didn't come true. Though admittedly they could be pretty wild.
Atrosis placed her hand on her employer's shoulder.
"Zis has got to be ze hundred's time my evil plan has been thwarted!" exclaimed the professor. This time he had been thwarted by his own carelessness.
"Maybe we need to start off smaller than the world." suggested Atrosis. The world was kind of a big project.
"Maybe we do..." answered Professor Dementor.
Fortunately, the robot was mostly undamaged.
So they could use it to make a quick getaway.
"It looks like this bird is ready for his cage." spoke Hego to Aviarius.
'Can't you come up with something more original?" asked Mego.
It was getting a bit old.
"That criminal attitude of yours just isn't going to fly!" exclaimed Hego.
"That's better." spoke Mego.
"Thanks for your help, Kim Possible. It's good to know that Atrosis has some good in her...even if she did choose to be evil." spoke Hego.
"I like to think that there's good ni all people." noted Ron.
"Yeah!" exclaimed Rufus.
Although, the author had designed villains that could be considered pure evil.
But for the most part, this statement was true.
"Maybe I could try stealing ze suit of Ze Beak. I've been hearing stories about him lately." noted Professor Dementor.
"I wonder who's underneath that suit." questioned Atrosis.
From what she had gathered, the Beak was rather young. Was The Beak not an adult?
Speaking of the Beak, he was looking for more villains to bring to justice. Along with his companions, of course. They had just finished defeating the Regurgitator.
He had built some robots, but they had taken care of them.
It helped that Phineas and Ferb had experience with machines...
...and Isabella had found a self-destruct button for them.
Why did he have it that way?
Was he worried that the robots would rebel against him?
To be honest, that self-destruct button seemed to do more harm than good.
'I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling kids!" exclaimed the villain. Pretty much everyone and their mother knew that reference.
"I'm sure you think you're above the law." answered Muscle Kid.
"Next time on our list is Motor Ed and Adrena Lynn." spoke The Beak.
They too got to reappear in this fanfic.
Since they didn't appear in this fanfic very much, the author decided to feature them again.
They had decided to steal musical instruments.
Motor Ed was a fan of heavy rock.
So they figured that wouldn't be a bad idea.
It was a bit unusual that Motor Ed wasn't trying to steal a vehicle...
...but he had more than one interest.
It didn't take long for the heroes to find them.
They had hidden themselves inside an abandoned warehouse.
"You're about to be brought to justice, Motor Ed and Adrena Lynn!" exclaimed The Beak.
'They're sending children to stop us? Really?' questioned Adrena Lynn.
It seemed like the authorities could do better than that. Though they didn't consider the cops to be a threat to them to begin with.
"We have supersuits!" exclaimed Isabella.
'Oh. So you won't feel it if we attack you.' answered Adrena Lynn.
"Not really. No." answered Baljeet. Though he would appreciate it if they surrendered without a fight.
Unfortunately, the two had augmented the instruments so that they could be used as weapons.
Motor Ed used his electric guitar to summon lightning.
Likewise, Adrena Lynn followed by firing wind from a trumpet.
"Whoa!" exclaimed Ninja Boy.
"Oof!" shouted Muscle Kid.
The Rainbow fired a rainbow at the two.
"Whoa! These kids are really packing a punch!" shouted Motor Ed.
"Freaky!" exclaimed Adrena Lynn.
The two of them decided to continue fighting.
However, The Rainbow destroyed their instruments.
"Not cool!" exclaimed Motor Ed.
Luckily, they had spares.
The drums could create stalagmites.
Likewise, the violin could shoot fire.
"I think we're a bit too hot for you to handle!" exclaimed Adrena Lynn.
However, the heroes kept wrecking the instruments. They were being worn down, to be sure, but they kept on fighting.
The heroes kept at it until eventually they ran out of musical weapons.
"No! We lost!" exclaimed Motor Ed.
It was time for the two of them to do community service for stealing the weapons.
"What about the weapons? They're wrecked!" exclaimed The Rainbow.
"Don't worry, I think we can fix them." spoke Phineas.
Since they were part of a musical show, they knew quite a bit about instruments.
It didn't take too long to repair them.
The music shop was happy to see them returned.
"Thanks! You kids are awesome!" exclaimed the store owner.
The Beak wondered if they should go after Monkey Fist next.
But he currently wasn't doing anything evil.
So they decided to go after Camille and Gill. Gill was puking in another pool. Those two always seemed to be together ever since they had met at Camp Wannaweep. They made a surprisingly effective duo.
Camille was applying her sweat to said pool.
The five of them arrived on the scene. (Though it appeared to be four.)
'You're not turning more people into mutants, Gill!" exclaimed The Beak.
"Actually, I puked into it because I was feeling sick." noted Gill.
"Then why is Camille sweating in it?" asked Isabella.
She heard that Camille's nanomachines could accelerate the mutagens that Gill produced.
"Oh. I felt worried about him when he did that." explained Camille.
"That makes sense.' nodded Baljeet.
Still, somebody was going to have to clean up the pool.
It left quite a mess.
'I'll do it." spoke Buford.
Careful not to let the mutagen on his skin (though part of him thought that becoming a mutant sounded cool), he scooped out the muck.
He then took it to a junkyard, careful that it did not spill on an insect or an arachnid.
'All done!" exclaimed Muscle Kid.
"Good. Our next stop is DNAmy. She's been kidnapping animals." spoke Phineas.
"Oh no! What if Pinky has been kidnapped?" asked Isabella.
"Either way, we're going on a rescue mission." stated the Beak.
Those animals needed their help.
Of course, Kim Possible might beat them to the punch...
...but it would be best to check, just in case.
It looks like that the Go Team have their powers back once again.
I heard that Harley Quinn's original voice actress passed away. Arleen Sorkin. She was in Batman: the Animated Series. That show sure had decent voice acting, didn't it? That's part of the reason why people happen to like the show. Though of course there are other reasons.
People have compared my OC to her. You know, the one with blonde hair.
I also heard Gilbert Gottfried had passed. I didn't know it until after his death, but he too was in the DC Animated Universe. As the guy with the top hat whose name is really hard to spell.
Ironically enough Atrosis's relationship with Professor Dementor is more like the relationship Mark Hamill and Arleen Sorkin had than the Joker and Harley Quinn's relationship.
I could have made the relationship abusive but I wanted it to contrast the relationship Drakken and Shego had. Hence the hyper fangirl Atrosis is.
Since people happened to like the character Atrosis got to stay in the fanfic. I happen to enjoy writing for her so she's one of the regulars. I don't think the readers minded that.
Of course, that made Professor Dementor one of the regulars too. I don't recall him being as popular as Dr. Drakken but people didn't mind him being one of the regulars either.
