Tangerine was born on Terra Marsh but was nearly eaten by predators. He was rescued by Mama Osprey. He is snarky, skilled, vicious, and a bit self-centered. He is shown taking joy in making fun of his friends. He is arrogant, taking any compliment and molding it into a purpose, which shows he is resourceful and sneaky. However, he shows a soft side towards Annie's feelings of worry for her brother, indicating he's also sympathetic. He seems to have a strong bond with Apato.
