On October 17th, Brandy was getting a birthday gift for his dad. He was trying to wrap it.
Leni was working on Luke's Halloween costume. This year, Luke wanted to be Prince Charming. He didn't want to dress like a superhero this year. Leni was halfway done with it.
Luke came home from school that same day, flipping his hair and smiling.
"Guess who won Student Of The Month at school?" Luke asked.
"You?" Luna asked.
"Correct!" Luke says with a smile. "I won for the month of October! Garrett got it in September, and I was happy for him then."
"We have to celebrate the two of you!" Forest says. Garrett blushed modestly.
"Luke doesn't share parties…" Luke says. "But I'll do it with Garrett." He then smiles. "He's my best friend."
Later, Forest decorated for a party in Garrett and Luke's honor. There were pictures of the boys as well as a few gifts and some snacks the boys liked. Luke and Garrett smiled at this.
Luna sang a song in their honor and Leni made them "student of the month" t-shirts.
Luke helped Garrett put on his shirt before putting on his own shirt.
They smile as Lincoln gives them gifts. They open the gifts and smile at the planetarium tickets and telescope.
"Thank you!" Luke and Garrett say.
After gifts came eating and watching videos of the boys' best moments. Garrett and Luke smile.
Later, Luke and Chalice dance.
"What is Student Of The Month?" Chalice asked Luke. He explained.
"Sounds amazing!" Chalice says. "Inkwell School never gave that award to me."
Then it was time for games. But Garrett didn't want to play. Luke looked at him, concerned.
"I just don't want to play." Garrett says. Luke nods as the games continue.
After the games came dessert decorating, one of Garrett's favorite things. Luke smiled at this.
Garrett takes the blank round cake and decorates it. Luke was amazed.
"What does this say, Garrett?" Luke asked.
"It says 'Congratulations Luke and Garrett, our students of the month!' " Garrett says.
Then it was piñata time. Luke and Garrett broke it open together.
Candy fell out and the boys got their share.
They began to eat dinner, but they also saved room for cake.
They cut their cake and smiled.
The next day, Bob woke up with a yawn. He saw the boys got him gifts.
"Aw, thanks, boys." Bob says.
Later, they took him out.
Lucy was planning Halloween and Luke's days.
She planned to take Luke to Lush Rooftop for one of his birthday parties. He already planned to have his Fantastic Fourteen party there, anyway.
They took Bob to a restaurant and to see some nice sights. They climbed up a mountain using their powers.
"This is a nice birthday." Bob says.
Angry Luigi thinks of something. As they climbed down, the triplets shot lasers at the twins as they dodged.
"A fight!" Bob says and leaped up, punching Troy in the face. The twins forgot Bob could fight and decided to join in.
Angry Luigi shot lightning at Tristan. Trey and Alem tuber flew around as Trey shot beams at Alem tuber, who shot ki blasts, causing explosions.
Lucy was making a purchase to rent Lush Rooftop out but she came to Charity, sobbing. Someone had Luke's day booked.
"Sweetie, I already rented it. You didn't hear me doing that the other day?" Charity asked.
Lucy sniffed and shook her head.
On Halloween, Angry Luigi was shaking nervously.
Luke tries on his Prince Charming costume. Leni smiled at him.
Alem tuber wore a scary mask, scaring his brother who ran off as Alem tuber laughed.
At school, there was going to be a costume contest with good prizes.
Lucy wore an inside out skeleton suit with wings and blood.
She was trying to win badly. Little did she know that there were categories for this costume contest.
Luke came in, smiling and showing off his Prince Charming costume.
Girls screamed as they played favorites either because of Leni or Luke's star power. Luke winked at the girls.
Lucy looked frustrated at this.
At lunch time, Lucy "accidentally" spilled stuff on Luke's costume. Luke let out several panicked screams. As soon as fake blood was spilled on him from head to toe, he screamed a very loud scream. He then cried.
Everyone was worried as Leni helped him clean up. She even had an extra costume.
Ms. Salter comes into the cafeteria and sees the mess. She also sees Luke in tears.
Leni was holding him as Lucy felt guilty.
"I'm sorry…I-I got jealous." Lucy stammered and ran off, ashamed.
Luke just cried and cried. Leni tries to cheer him up with candy. Luke sniffs and eats a little bit of it after eating some of his lunch.
Leni then checks on a guilty Lucy. She knew Lucy loved proving she was scary.
"Now he'll never forgive me…" Lucy sobbed.
"Why did you do it?" Leni asked.
"I wanted to win that award. I worked really hard. The only reason I never win is because the judges usually pick famous people like Luke. They never saw my talent." Lucy confessed.
"There are multiple categories in this costume contest." Leni says.
"Yeah, but Luke is good at everything and apparently I'm not good at costumes anymore." Lucy says.
After lunch, the costume judging began. But Luke wasn't there. He was still cleaning up.
"Luke, I gave you a second costume." Leni says.
Luke smiled a bit and changed costumes. The judges soon judged him and his costume and they loved it.
They soon judge Alem tuber and his Kobe Bryant costume. They liked it.
Lucy was soon judged. The judges admire her costume and the effort she put in.
The next round involved showing off the kind of talent you could do in your costume.
Lucy scared the judges.
Angry Luigi arrested a bully smoking in his Joe Parker costume.
Garrett shot some arrows at a target in his Green Arrow costume.
Alem tuber played basketball.
Chandler used a chainsaw in his Jason costume.
Lincoln was in his Ace Savvy costume and lifted up a chair.
Luke sang "It Takes Two" from Hairspray.
Everyone loved it as Lucy looked down. She didn't do anything to him. She didn't want to hurt him again.
After a bit, the judges deliberate on which costume wins in each category.
Luke won the talent round, but Lucy won the first round.
The costume categories were most original costume, scariest costume, funniest costume, most creative costume, best hero costume, coolest costume, cutest costume, best lookalike costume, and best overall costume (for boy and girl, 1 each).
Lucy won the most original and scariest costume.
Luke won the best overall costume for the boys. But it was really Leni who made it. But she wouldn't admit it
Colleen won best overall costume for the girls.
Lincoln won the hero costume award as Angry Luigi won for the funniest costume.
Garrett won best lookalike costume as he looked exactly like the Green Arrow.
The cutest went to Chalice for her cheerleader costume and some people thought she was human.
Alem tuber wins the coolest costume award.
Soon, the points were tallied to see who had the best costume in the entire contest.
Lucy looked nervous if she lost the mortician's club wouldn't look at her the same
Alem tuber crossed his arms.
"The winner is Lucy Huntington!" The judges says as Lucy smiled.
Luke just held his "Best Overall Costume" award and left the cafeteria. He knew he wasn't going to have the best costume.
"Luke…" Lucy says worriedly.
"No. I need to go." Luke says. Garrett goes with him, a little concerned.
Lucy sighed and went to her haunted corn maze after school.
Luke didn't want to leave the house that night. Garrett was worried about him.
"What happened?" Luna asked.
Luke just screamed in frustration and looked away.
"Lucy beat him." Leni says. She knew Luke hated losing. Luna holds Luke.
Lucy was looking guilty and confessed to Charity.
"I didn't mean to win…" Lucy says.
"You are the spooky expert when it comes to Halloween." Lincoln says.
"You should have just not entered." Lisa says.
"Everyone that came with a costume at school was eligible, Lis." Lincoln says.
"I…I…" Lucy stammered.
"What?" Luan asked. Lucy confessed everything that she did to Luke in the cafeteria during lunch.
"Cheater!" Lynn says, pushing Lucy.
Lucy was flooded with guilt. The judges loved her costume more than Luke's. She didn't feel like doing the corn maze anymore and began to take it down. Garrett arrives with Luke. Luke wasn't wearing his costume, but Garrett was in his Green Arrow costume.
Lucy frowned when she saw Luke. "I'm sorry, Luke."
"Congratulations, I guess." Luke says sadly. "I no longer want to wear costumes on Halloween. Not anymore."
"Luke, wait, this is my fault." Lucy says, taking off her costume, but realized her mistake as she was just in her underwear in public.
"Come on, Luke. Let's go get some of the marked-down Halloween candy from the drugstore. You love to do that with me and our friends." Garrett says. Luke nods and leaves with Garrett.
The siblings watch Lucy come inside, embarrassed.
"Ha, you deserved it." Lynn laughed as Lucy was blushing hard.
Lynn was still recording just to embarrass her
"Leave her alone." Lincoln says
"Make me, Stinkoln!" Lynn said and what followed was a fight between them, which Lynn won. Charity eventually broke it up.
With Luke, he shops for candy with Garrett and their friends. He sees his favorites as he gets a bag of it. Garrett and their friends get more candy as well. They then pay for the candy bags they picked and head back to Garrett's house. Garrett could see the look on Luke's face as they walked.
Stephen shows Luke the video of Lucy. Luke didn't care to see it.
"Lucy didn't deserve to win." Lonnie says, still in her Mad Hatter costume.
"Those judges don't know what a good costume is." Remy says, still in his scarecrow costume.
"We thought your costume was the best, Luke." Colleen says, dressed in her Morticia Addams costume.
Luke sniffed. "Maybe I shouldn't wear costumes on Halloween anymore." He says sadly.
Chalice later took him to the Inkwell Isles for their costume contest. Luke looked down.
"What's the point, Chally? I'm just gonna lose." Luke says sadly.
"No, you won't, Lukey." Chalice says reassuringly.
Soon, the judges see Luke and are amazed by his Prince Charming costume. Luke didn't seem to smile much, however.
"That has got to be the best costume ever!" The judges say.
"He has to be in the 'best costume' parade!" The king says.
"A parade focused on Luke? Amazing!" Luke says, fluttering his eyes and flashing a smile.
"Lucy, please eat something." Charity says as Lucy shut herself in her room.
Charity felt bad that Lucy gave up on Halloween.
"No." Lucy says. "I hurt Luke and made him give up on Halloween and wearing costumes at school…"
"Hey, Luke's in a Halloween parade." Lincoln says. Lucy looked at it.
She sniffed and headed to her room, shivering.
The parade went around all of Inkwell Isles. Luke was really happy. He was happy that his Prince Charming costume was accepted as the best.
