Lincoln had returned home from the mall with his five younger sisters, each of them clutching their newfound treasures. His younger sister Lisa had been itching to show Lincoln her latest invention.
"Elder brother" Lisa called out, her voice tinged with excitement, "I need your help with my latest invention."
Lincoln was always eager to encourage Lisa's scientific pursuits, even if they occasionally led to household mishaps. He followed her into her room, where a peculiar-looking machine sat on the table.
"What do you need help with, Lisa?" Lincoln asked, genuinely curious about her latest creation.
Lisa grinned, her eyes gleaming with scientific enthusiasm. "I've been working on this portable teleportation device, and I need your assistance in testing it. I've just installed the batteries, and it's ready to go."
Lincoln's jaw dropped in amazement. "A portable teleportation device? Seriously, Lisa? That's incredible!"
Lisa nodded proudly. "Indeed, it is. Now, I need someone to test it out. Would you be willing to give it a try?"
Lincoln was both excited and apprehensive. Teleportation was the stuff of science fiction, and the idea of being transported from one place to another instantly was mind-boggling. Still, he trusted Lisa's genius and agreed to be the test subject.
"Alright, Lisa, let's do this," Lincoln said with a grin. "Where are we teleporting to?"
Lisa tapped a few buttons on the device's control panel. "Just the front yard for now. It's a short distance, but it should give us an idea of how well it works."
With that, Lisa activated the portable teleportation device. There was a sudden flash of light, and in the blink of an eye, Lincoln found himself standing in the front yard. He looked around in astonishment, realizing that he had just been teleported from the living room to the yard instantly.
"It worked, Lisa!" Lincoln exclaimed, his excitement palpable. "That was amazing! You've really outdone yourself."
Lisa joined him in the front yard, wearing a satisfied expression. "I'm glad it worked as intended. This device has the potential to revolutionize transportation."
As Lincoln and Lisa marveled at the successful test of the portable teleportation device in their front yard, little did they know that they were being observed. High above the town of Royal Woods, Chandler had been watching them through a pair of high-powered binoculars. His eyes narrowed as he witnessed the teleportation device in action. This presented a new opportunity for him to carry out Morag's plan.
When Lisa returned to her room to tinker with her invention, and Lincoln headed off for the bathroom, Chandler saw his chance. He had been practicing his magical abilities for years, and now, he was about to put them to sinister use.
From his vantage point, Chandler chanted incantations under his breath, casting a spell aimed at Lisa's portable teleportation device. The device began to emit strange, flickering lights and erratic sounds, indicating that something was amiss. Lisa rushed to the device, trying to regain control, but it was too late.
With a final surge of magical energy, Chandler's spell hijacked the teleportation device's coordinates. Lisa struggled to stop it, but the device malfunctioned, and in a blinding flash of light, she was transported.
Lisa found herself in a cell. Confusion and panic washed over her as she took in her surroundings. The cold, stone walls were a stark contrast to the cozy living room she had just been in moments ago. She was trapped in a small, windowless room, with iron bars separating her from the adjacent cell.
When her eyes were fully adjusted to the light, she noticed the figure in the adjacent cell. It was Angus, the former duke of Loch Loud, whom she had met five years ago. His eyes widened with surprise as he saw her.
"Lisa Loud?" Angus exclaimed, his voice tinged with disbelief. "What are you doing here?"
Lisa adjusted her glasses and tried to make sense of the situation. "I honestly have no idea, Angus. I was testing a teleportation device I invented, and the next thing I knew, I was here in this cell."
Angus's expression grew somber as he leaned closer to the iron bars that separated them. "We are in the castle dungeon, Lisa. It's been under the control of Morag and Chandler for the past four years."
Lisa's heart sank at the mention of Morag and Chandler. She remembered them, Morag was the caretaker who briefly took control Loch Loud and Chandler was the jerk who was responsible for sending Lincoln into a deep sleep after tricking him. "Morag and Chandler? But how?"
Angus's gaze hardened as he spoke. "This all starts when Morag finds a magic spell book and learns about Chandler in a newspaper, they're currently working together to exact revenge on your brother, Lincoln.
Lisa's anxiety surged as she processed Angus's words. Her big brother Lincoln was in grave danger, and she had no way to communicate with her family from this dungeon.
"Angus," Lisa said urgently, "I need to get out of here and warn my family. Do you have any idea how to escape from this place?"
Angus's eyes darted around the cell as he thought for a moment. "Sadly, Escape is impossible because Morag told me that she has placed a magical barrier around Loch Loud to prevent anyone from leaving. However, she decided not to have guards in the castle because she doesn't trust anyone except for Chandler, and she knows that I wouldn't even try to escape.
Lisa's hope flickered to life, With the knowledge that Loch Loud is surrounding by barriers around it but no security in the castle meaning it still possible to figure their plans and foil it without Morag and Chandler knowing about it.
Back at Royal Woods, Lincoln had finished his bathroom break and returned to the front yard, expecting to find Lisa there after her teleportation demonstration. However, to his growing concern, she was nowhere to be seen. He called out her name, but there was no response.
Fearing the worst, Lincoln hurried to Lisa's room, hoping to find some clue about her whereabouts. As he entered the room, he spotted her portable teleporting device lying on the ground. Its presence confirmed his fears; something had gone wrong with the teleportation, and Lisa was missing.
Panic gnawed at Lincoln's chest, but he knew he needed to stay composed. He picked up the device and examined it, searching for any clues or messages. However, the device seemed to be malfunctioning, displaying random error messages and flickering lights.
Lincoln's thoughts raced as he considered the possibilities. Had Lisa accidentally teleported herself to a distant location? Or worse, had someone abducted her during the teleportation mishap?
Determined to find his sister, Lincoln rushed to the living room, where Lana and Lola were preparing to head to the park to play with Lana's new lizard. They looked up in surprise as Lincoln entered, his face filled with worry.
"Guys," Lincoln began urgently, "I can't find Lisa. Her teleportation device is here, but she's gone. I need your help to search for her."
Lana and Lola exchanged concerned glances before nodding in agreement. Lana held her Proctoporus titan lizard in her hands, ready to go, but she understood the seriousness of the situation.
"Of course, big brother," Lana said. "We'll help you find Lisa. Just tell us where to start."
Lincoln took a deep breath, thankful for his sisters' support. "Lana, Lola, you go to the park as planned, but keep an eye out for Lisa there. Ask around if anyone has seen her. I'll stay here and try to figure out what went wrong with the teleportation device. We need to find her as soon as possible."
After Lana and Lola had left for the park, Lincoln made his way to Lucy's room. He knew that Lucy had a knack for the mysterious and unusual, even though she often proclaimed her disinterest in science fiction.
Lucy was seated at her desk, her room shrouded in its characteristic gloom. She was engrossed in a dark poetry book, her long black hair cascading over her shoulder. She looked up as Lincoln entered, her eyes revealing a hint of curiosity.
"Hey, Lucy," Lincoln began, "I need your help with something. It's about Lisa's portable teleportation device."
Lucy closed her book, her interest piqued. "I'm not really a sci-fi person, Lincoln, but I'll see what I can do."
Lincoln placed the malfunctioning device on Lucy's desk. "I know, but you're good at figuring out mysteries, and this thing is acting weird. I need to find out what happened to Lisa."
Lucy nodded, her pale face illuminated by the dim light in her room. She picked up the device and began to examine it closely, muttering to herself about strange energy fluctuations and unstable quantum states.
Meanwhile, on the outskirts of the park, hidden in the shadows, Chandler watched as Lana and Lola made their way toward their destination. He knew he had a golden opportunity to capture them while they were alone. He had been stalking them for some time, waiting for the right moment to strike.
As the twins entered the park, Chandler's mind began to churn with a sinister plan. He had a brilliant idea to separate them and capture them one by one. It was essential to keep them quiet and prevent them from alerting anyone to his presence.
However, he decided to bide his time and wait until they reached the park. The more isolated they were, the better his chances of success. Chandler knew he had to be patient and choose the perfect moment to set his plan into motion.
Upon arriving at the park, Lana and Lola wasted no time in setting up a small area to play with Lana's newly acquired Proctoporus titan lizard. The lizard, while fascinating to Lana, didn't hold the same appeal for Lola. She had different ideas in mind.
"Lana," Lola began, her voice filled with a hint of mischief, "do you mind if I add some makeup to your lizard? It'll make him look fabulous!"
Lana blinked in surprise, not expecting her sister's peculiar request. "Makeup? On a lizard?"
Lola nodded eagerly. "Yes, Lana! Just a touch of eyeliner and a bit of blush. Trust me; he'll look incredible."
Lana hesitated for a moment, her eyes on her beloved lizard. "Well, I guess it won't hurt if it's just a little makeup."
As Lola reached into her bag to retrieve her makeup kit, a rustling noise came from the nearby bushes. Both sisters froze, their attention shifting to the source of the disturbance.
Lana's eyes widened with excitement. "Did you hear that? It might be Lisa! Let's go check."
Lola, however, was more cautious. "Lana, I'm not so sure. What if it's not Lisa? What if it's something else?"
Ignoring her twin's skepticism, Lana called out, "Lisa! Is that you?"
They waited in tense silence for a response, but all they heard were more rustling noises coming from the bushes. Whoever—or whatever—it was, seemed reluctant to reveal themselves.
"Lisa," Lola added her voice to the call, "if that's you, come out."
As Lana and Lola anxiously called out for their missing sister, the rustling in the bushes intensified. The anticipation hung heavy in the air, and their hearts pounded in their chests. They weren't prepared for what happened next.
With a sudden, thunderous burst, a massive frog burst out of the underbrush. Lana's eyes grew wide with awe, and Lola's mouth fell open in surprise. This was no ordinary frog; it was colossal, easily half the size of a human.
Lola couldn't contain her shock. "How is that even possible? Frogs aren't supposed to be this big!"
But Lana, with her love for all creatures, didn't seem to care about the frog's extraordinary size. Her eyes lit up, and she took a step closer to the gargantuan amphibian. Her excitement overrode any sense of caution.
"Wow!" Lana exclaimed, reaching out her hand to pet the frog's massive head. "You're incredible! I've never seen a frog like you."
Lola's warning fell on deaf ears. She desperately tried to grab Lana's arm and pull her away from the enormous frog.
"Lana, stop!" Lola cried out. "This isn't safe! We don't know what this frog is capable of!"
But Lana's enthusiasm blinded her to the potential danger. She was inches away from touching the frog when, in a swift and horrifying motion, the frog's enormous mouth snapped open, and with incredible speed, it swallowed Lana whole.
Lola's scream of terror filled the air as she witnessed her sister disappear into the gaping maw of the colossal frog. She stumbled back in shock and horror, her heart racing, but it was too late. The frog, having devoured Lana, turned its attention to Lola.
In a surreal nightmare, the frog's tongue shot out like a lightning-fast whip, wrapping around Lola's waist. She shrieked in terror as she was yanked off her feet and dragged into the frog's monstrous mouth.
As the colossal frog swallowed Lana and Lola, it seemed to quiver and convulse for a moment, and then, in a bizarre and otherworldly transformation, it began to shrink rapidly. In mere seconds, the enormous creature reverted to its natural size, a regular-sized frog. Its belly now bulged unnaturally, and it appeared to be struggling with the sudden expansion of its meal.
Chandler watched this bizarre transformation unfold with a smug grin on his face. He couldn't believe how easily Lana had fallen for the frog's trap.
"Ah, Lana Loud," he muttered to himself, shaking his head in amusement. "You really are too trusting for your own good."
Back in the dark and damp cells of Loch Castle Dungeon, Lana and Lola's panic had reached its peak. They were disoriented and terrified, and the last thing they remembered was being inside the massive frog's stomach. Their minds were racing with confusion and fear.
But as they slowly regained their senses, they realized they were not alone in the cell. To their astonishment, they found their younger sister, Lisa, and their friend Angus, sitting on the cold, stone floor of the adjacent cell.
Lana's voice trembled as she spoke, her eyes wide with disbelief. "Lisa? Angus? What... what happened? Did you both get swallowed by a frog too?"
Lisa shook her head, her expression grave. "No, Lana. We ended up here for different reasons."
Angus chimed in, his voice somber. "I've been a prisoner here ever since Morag took control of Loch Loud four years ago, and she locked me because I refused to join her side.
As Lana and Lola absorbed the shocking revelation that Morag had betrayed Angus, their minds raced with memories of the time they had come to Loch Loud's aid as a family. They remembered the fierce battles they had fought to protect the kingdom and the bonds they had formed with Angus, who had been a loyal groundskeeper and then became a duke.
"But we helped save Loch Loud together," Lana said, her voice filled with disbelief. "We all fought to protect it."
Angus sighed, a heavy burden of regret in his eyes. "I trusted Morag, gave her a job as the castle's groundskeeper. But she despises her role, and she found a spell book. That's how she gained control over Loch Loud."
Lola's anger flared at the thought of Morag's betrayal. "So, she's been scheming against us for years."
Lisa's voice broke through the tension, bringing their focus back to their immediate predicament. "Morag isn't alone in this, Chandler is working with her, and they're planning to kidnap the rest of our siblings, Lana, Lola. That's why we need to figure out their end goal."
The twins exchanged worried glances, realizing that Lincoln, Lucy, and Lily were in grave danger. Lana's voice trembled as she asked, "But how do we get out of here, Lisa?"
Lisa's expression grew more serious. "I have a temporal escape plan. We'll be able to leave these cells, gather information about Morag's plans, and then return to our cells undetected. It's the only way we won't be killed if we get busted., Besides Morag places barriers around Loch Loud, so nobody can leave."
Lola nodded, her fear giving way to bravery. "Okay, Lisa, Angus, we're in this together. Let's find out what Morag and Chandler are up to and foil their plan."
As the plan began to take shape in the dimly lit dungeon, Lisa continued to explain their strategy to Lana and Lola.
"We'll start the plan at night when everyone in the castle is sleeping," Lisa whispered. "We'll use my knowledge of electronics and Angus's understanding of the castle's layout to navigate through the barriers Morag placed around Loch Loud. Once we gather the information we need, we'll return here without anyone noticing."
Lana and Lola nodded in agreement, understanding the risks but also recognizing that it was their best chance to uncover Morag's intentions and protect their family.
Back in Royal Woods, Lincoln's worry gnawed at him as he watched the sun begin its descent. Sending Lana and Lola to the park by themselves had seemed like a good idea at the time, but now he couldn't shake the feeling that it might not have been the best decision.
Lucy, perceptive as always, approached her older brother and placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "Lincoln, they'll be fine. Lana and Lola can handle themselves, and if it gets too dark, they can always stay at a friend's house. You did the right thing."
Lincoln sighed, his worry not completely dissipating but tempered by Lucy's words of assurance. "You're right, Lucy. I just can't help but overthinking sometimes."
Just as Lincoln and Lucy were engrossed in their conversation about Lana and Lola, their youngest sister, Lily, at the tender age of 6, suddenly burst into Lucy's room. Her big eyes widened with curiosity as she looked around at the dimly lit, gloomy space.
"Lucy, Lincoln, what are you doing?" Lily asked innocently, her voice carrying a hint of wonder.
Lucy turned her attention to Lily, her demeanor softening at the sight of her little sister. "Hey, Lily, we're trying to fix Lisa's portable teleportation device. It seems to have been infected with some negative magic."
Lily tilted her head to the side, trying to understand. "Negative magic? Like bad magic?"
Lincoln chimed in, nodding at Lily. "Exactly, Lily. We're trying to make it work properly again, so we can find Lisa and the twins."
Lily's eyes sparkled with enthusiasm as she offered a solution, her six-year-old optimism shining through. "Why don't we just make another one, then?"
Lincoln and Lucy exchanged glances, appreciating Lily's simple yet creative suggestion. However, Lincoln gently explained, "Lily, making another teleportation device would take a long time, and we don't have the resources to do it right now."
Lily's face fell with disappointment, her bottom lip quivering. "Oh, okay," she murmured, understanding the limitations of their situation but still feeling sad that she couldn't help.
Suddenly, a loud growling sound emanated from Lily's little belly, and she placed her small hands over it, looking up at her older siblings with a sheepish grin.
Lincoln chuckled. "Sounds like someone's hungry. How about we order some pizza, Lily? It'll be here soon, and then we can continue working on the teleportation device."
Lily's eyes lit up with delight, her disappointment forgotten as the promise of pizza filled her thoughts. "Pizza! Yay!"
With a smile, Lincoln reached for his phone to place the order, and Lucy patted Lily's head gently. The three siblings settled in Lucy's room, awaiting the arrival of their pizza.
As the three siblings eagerly awaited the pizza delivery, unbeknownst to them, Chandler continued to observe their every move. He held a magical hand mirror that allowed him to see through the reflections of any mirror it was pointed at. This insidious tool gave him an advantage, as he could spy on Lincoln, Lucy, and Lily without their knowledge.
Chandler watched with a mixture of amusement and arrogance as they discussed their plans to fix the portable teleportation device. He was convinced that they would never be able to repair it in time to thwart his nefarious plans to kidnap the rest of the louds.
However, as the minutes passed, Chandler's exhaustion began to catch up with him. It had been a long and eventful day of spying and plotting. He knew that he needed to rest and gather his magical energy for the challenges that lay ahead.
With a weary sigh, Chandler decided. He would postpone his mission until tomorrow. Using his magical abilities, he created a shelter out of thin air, shaped like a dragon's head, with open jaws that led into a hidden chamber. This shelter would provide him with a safe place to rest and recharge his powers, ready to continue his sinister plans in the days to come.
At the loud house, the aroma of freshly delivered pizzas filled the dining room, and the excitement was palpable as Lincoln, Lucy, and Lily gathered around the table. Boxes of various pizza flavors were spread out before them, and the siblings wasted no time in grabbing slices and digging in.
Lily was the first to speak between bites, her enthusiasm evident. "This pizza is so yummy! Thanks for ordering it, Lincoln!"
Lincoln smiled at his youngest sister. "You're welcome, Lily. I knew you'd be hungry after all the excitement today. Speaking of which, are you still excited about roller skating tomorrow?"
Lily's eyes lit up, and she nodded vigorously, cheese and sauce smeared on her face. "Yes, yes, yes! I can't wait to go roller skating, and you said you'd watch me, right?"
Lincoln chuckled, his heart warmed by Lily's eagerness. "Of course, Lily. I'll be there cheering you on the whole time."
As the two siblings shared a bonding moment over their plans for the next day, Lucy found herself lost in thought, where she couldn't help but think about her ghost ancestor, Lucille.
Lucille had been a known magic user in the 1600s, and Lucy had often heard tales of her extraordinary abilities. At that moment, Lucy wondered if Lucille might hold the key to solving the problem with Lisa's malfunctioning teleportation device. After all, who would know more about magic than a ghost from their own family?
Lucy made a silent promise to herself: tomorrow, she would attempt to commune with Lucille's spirit, something she hadn't done in four long years. Her thoughts also drifted to Angus. She hadn't heard from him in just as long, and concern gnawed at her.
Lucy knew that if she asked him if Angus had recently texted him, it will only worry Lincoln too much. So, she decided that tomorrow, while Lincoln enjoyed seeing Lily roller skating, she would seek out Lucille's wisdom on how to remove the negative magic from Lisa's device.
