Gravity Spirit Powering Through Explosions

The very moment Makiko started the match was the instant Ochaco made her first move by charging right toward Katsuki.

"Giving up isn't an option for me! Like I said, I want to fight at my best and you better do that same!" Ochaco shouted at Katsuki who heard all of that.

"Wow, look at her go! That's a good start, and maybe she could still find a way to use her Quirk on Kacchan!" Izuku believed.

"Maybe, but it won't be easy. You know Bakugo's not gonna let her get too close to him." Tenya pointed out.

"Which is why I believe that he won't dodge. This exploding fella thinks he won't need to dodge because of his Quirk and fast reaction time, so he'll just pull off a counterattack to knock Ochaco back." Kimi stated to her classmates.

"We've seen how he does back in the two previous games, it won't be easy for Ochaco to get one touch on him." Naomasa pointed out.

"And now you die." Katsuki said, but not literally die.

Ochaco remembers back in their first combat training exercise that Deku mentioned about Katsuki always starting his fight with a big right hook, that means she needs to be on the lookout for that right hook and dodge it the best she could.

Katsuki leans his right arm back, getting ready to counterattack.

"(There!)" Ochaco thought saw the right arm.

Katsuki moves his right arm up a little as he gets ready to unleash his Explosion Quirk.

"(Here it comes!)" Ochaco thought readied herself.

"(If I can dodge this move…)" Ochaco thought quickly moved a little faster to dodge it.

However, Katsuki moves faster than Ochaco as he unleashes his exploding attack onto the girl and sends her back. Seeing causes some to flinch from that.

"He blasted her!" Minoru groaned.

"Oh, looks like Bakugo is not planning on showing her any mercy." Tsuyu worried.

"This may look frightening but be mindful that this is a competition that we're all thriving for the top and must give our absolute best. Ochaco is doing just that, which means Katsuki will also be showing off his best too." Kimi stated to UA 1-A students.

"For rea?" Denki asked shock.

Kimi sat back down knowing what she said maybe too realistic, it was something those students from UA High needed to hear so they can see that Ochaco is going to give this her all, and they should also try to cheer for her instead being a bunch of worrywarts.

"Stupid. Saw it coming and I still couldn't get out of the way." Ochaco cursed herself.

"You said you wanted to fight me at my best, right?" Katsuki asked, then saw her coming at him from the left in the smoke.

"Then this match is already over!" Katsuki yelled as he slams his palm down for another explosion attack to pin Ochaco down.

But when the smoke clears up, it is revealed that the only thing that is pin down onto the ground is Ochaco's jacket and that made Katsuki gasp that he has been tricked.

Ochaco jump right behind Katsuki as she moved to his blind spot.

"Whoa! She flew her jacket over as a decoy! What incredibly quick thinking!" Present Mic amazed.

"But will it be enough?" Makiko asked.

"(This is my chance, I can make him float!)" Ochaco thought reached out for his back.

"Not enough!" Katuski threw a backhanded explosion knock her away.

"Quite the reaction time, almost like he has a speed Quirk." Muneshige impressed with how Katsuki is about to react like that.

"Seriously, the dude's insane. You can't get the drop on him." Denki freaked out on this guy.

"It'll be very troublesome for Ochaco to get past his defense which is also his offense, like a fortress always ready to blast away the enemy." Elizabeth said.

Ochaco charges at Katsuki again while doing a little zigzag movement hoping to make him a little confused, but that didn't matter to Katsuki.

"Too slow!" Katsuki shouted and threw one uppercut explosion that knocks Ochaco away again.

But Ochaco isn't finished despite being blown away as she moves within the smoke created from Katsuki's exploding power, she managed to get behind him on the left though Katsuki reacted on that and blew her away again.

"Is she okay?" Tsuyu worried for her friend.

"I can't watch this." Kyoka covered her eyes with her hands.

"Like I always suspected, Bakugo's a total sadist." Minoru stated with a serious look.

"That maybe true… But you guys should see that Uraraka is not giving up the fight, despite being beaten down and blown away every time. She is not stopping because she is not giving up the fight until she wins!" Izuku believed strongly.

"Go, Ochaco! Keep on going, I know you can do it!" Izuku shouted cheering for Ochaco much to the surprise of his classmates.

"Come now, even though the odds aren't stacked in your favors doesn't mean you can quit. You got more in you than everyone knows!" Kimi shouted as well.

Ochaco keeps on going for Katsuki from every direction on the low angle the best she could hoping to get the drop on his guard, but no matter what she does, Katsuki will always react faster to counterattack and blows her away pretty hard.

"Looks like she's not resting between attacks, despite being exploded. The poor girl." Present Mic said, looking sad.

"And what's the reason to be sad about?" Makiko asked, confusing the shouting hero.

"I say Ochaco Uraraka is really showing us how strong she truly is in heart not really caring about the odds." Makiko said with a giggle.

"Kinda reminds you of yourself, huh?" Aizawa guessed.

"Something like that, and that goes for any other heroes we know who would also face those kinds of danger almost every day in their life that seems impossible to beat and gets knocked out every time in a bloody mess." Makiko mentioned for everyone to hear.

"Sheesh, are you trying to scare the crowd?" Present Mic asked.

"Shut up, she's on a roll." Aizawa shushed his blonde friend.

Ochaco tries running around Katsuki waiting for the right moment to strike and Katsuki tries to blow her away even from a distance with his explosion, but Ochaco use kept running and uses the explosion as a cover to get around.

She charges forward to get Katsuki from behind on one side again, but Katsuki reacted with an explosion to blow her away again.

"I'm not done! Not even close!" Ochaco yelled as she runs again.

"But no matter how hard and dangerous things maybe, whether you're a hero or someone else, never give up because showing the strength of your heart can really make a difference than just having a powerful Quirk." Makiko smirked.

"Which is what we're seeing right now." Makiko looked at Ochaco directly.

"That girl, Ochaco Uraraka, is giving her all in this fight like a Pro Hero!" Makiko believed.

Everyone in the arena feels the words from the Pro Hero of Musashi Ariadust Academy, named Real Amazon of how she believes Ochaco is giving her all out there and they need to show support for that.

"Not only not, but Katsuki Bakugo is also showing that he's acknowledging Ochaco's strength. Right, Eraser Head?" Makiko turned to Aizawa.

"So, you noticed that too." Aizawa said.

"Huh, wait? Am I missing something here?" Present Mic confused.

"Bakugo's fierceness is an acknowledgement of his opponent's strength. He knows she deserves to have made it this far, so he's making sure he does whatever it takes to keep her at bay and come out on top." Aizawa explained how he believes Katsuki thinks.

"(We're not finished. She's still standing. She's not dead yet!)" Katsuki thought saw Ochaco that can still fight.

"You better not regret saying about fighting my best with yours because I won't stand for those who don't keep their word!" Katsuki shouted in rage.

"Holy shit, Bakugo really does acknowledge Uraraka's strength! That's so manly!" Eijiro gasped.

"Honestly, he scared the shit out of me when I first saw him, but he seems a tiny bit less scary." Adele commented.

"He still needs to watch out for the foal attitude of his, but at least he's not a total psycho." Tomo said.

Ochaco pants hard after being blown away by Katsuki's exploding power again from a moment ago though she isn't giving, she looks at her opponent with strong determination in her eyes.

"I think it's time." Ochaco said.

Hearing that made Katsuki gasp and ready himself for whatever this chick is planning on doing.

"(So, she's finally going to bring out her plan.)" Kimi thought grinned.

"Thank you, Bakugo… for keeping your eyes focused on me!" Ochaco thanked and readied herself to press her fingers together to deactivate her Quirk.

"What?" Katsuki surprised, getting the feeling that he may have fallen into a trap.

"I don't blame Bakugo for not noticing." Neito said, starting to explain Ochaco's plan to his classmates.

"She kept low to the ground as she moved, which meant Bakugo's blasts tore up the floor of the ring, creating weapons for her. And then she kept him focused on her by attacking relentlessly without rest." Neito looked up at the sky, making his classmates look up as well.

"Making Katsuki to become completely blind to her real attack." Miriam said, having figured out Ochaco's plan as well.

"There's so many rocks in the sky!" Mary shocked.

Very high up in the air are big debris of rocks from the ring floating in the air and right above Katsuki waiting to be dropped at any moment.

And that moment is now as Ochaco deactivate her Quirk and the debris came falling down like a rain made of stone, one could say it's a meteor shower.

"A meteor shower!" Present Mic gasped.

"Now you notice." Aizawa said, he and Makiko were the only ones to know about this.

"About time she pulls a crazy stunt like this." Makiko smirked.

"Hey, she had a plan all along!" Izuku shocked.

"Now that's what I call showing your opponent with defeat." Kimi commented with a smile.

"It looks like Ochaco is going to win this fight!" Heidi amazed.

With Katsuki's sight on all the falling debris, Ochaco charges forward believing this to be her only chance to get Katsuki right in her hand.

"(With this much debris, whether he's evading or counterattacking, there will definitely be an opening! In that moment, I'll finally get close to him!)" Ochaco thought believed this plan will work.

Katsuki raises one hand up to face the falling debris while Ochaco used her Quirk on herself to make her body lighter to run a little faster.

"(This is it, my shot! I'll win and be just like Deku!)" Ochaco thought held out her right hand reaching for Katsuki.

"No, this won't get her the win." Shirojiro said.

Katsuki unleashed one large and very powerful explosion that causes a shockwave for everyone in the arena to feel and destroy the entire meteor shower attack, all in one blow which also causes Ochaco to be blown away as well.

Ochaco groans and gets back up to see Katsuki still standing strong.

"I figured you'd have some sort of stupid plan to beat me. You are friends with that damn nerd, after all." Katsuki said.

"…It took him one shot." Ochaco exclaimed shock.

"Wowie, that was crazy! Katsuki showed what may be the biggest explosion we have seen right now, and use it blow Ochaco's ultimate attack clear out of here!" Makiko surprised.

"I'm not sure if crazy is the right word to fit what just happened!" Present Mic said.

"That was close." Katsuki whispered to himself with his left arm shaking like crazy, feeling the strain of using that big explosion.

"(I put everything I could into that, but it wasn't good enough.)" Ochaco thought felt almost broken from that.

But then she looks over at Kimi who gives the brown hair girl a proud smile on her face and even gives her a thumbs up.

"You were beautiful, Ochaco Uraraka!" Kimi said.

Ochaco feels her heart beating a little stronger than before and the sadness of her ultimate attack failing doesn't bother her anymore, she looks over to Izuku who is smiling at her with a fist.

"(Even though I may not be able to win, you guys are still rooting for me.)" Ochaco thought surprised, then remembers something else that Kimi told her.

"Even though you may not win in the end, what's important is that you don't give up fighting to show all of those Pro Heroes how tough your body and you can power through those nasty booms!"

"(Huh, I see, you were trying to tell me there are times when one can gain victory through defeat.)" Ochaco thought smiled as she stands up up.

"Time for us to get serious. Uraraka!" Katsuki charged at Ochaco.

"Look, now Kacchan is the one charging at her!" Izuku shocked.

"Call me crazy, I think she also said her family name and not one of those nicknames he always does!" Tenya added, shock as well.

"It looks like Katsuki has finally acknowledge someone else besides herself." Elizabeth smiled.

"(I think I still got some fight left in me, that means I can still show everyone my strength. Show them my Plus Ultra!)" Ochaco thought clutched her fists.

"(Just a little more!)" Ochaco thought turned around to face Katsuki head on.

However, her body gave out sooner than she expected as she fell over onto the ground causing Katsuki to stop his charge to see if the girl is done for.

"Oh no., she's down!" Suzu worried.

"Uraraka is down!" Present Mic gasped.

"Looks like all the beating she took and the ultimate attack she did really took a lot out of her, and now she doesn't have any energy left to get up." Makiko pointed out.

"(Damn it, I was hoping to at least put up a little more fight.)" Ochaco thought looked up at Katsuki.

"It looks like I can't fight anymore, but I really did… gave it my all." Ochaco said, then remembers her childhood when she had a talk with her parents.

(Flashback)

"When I grow up all big and strong, I'll help you and Mommy out any way that I can." Little Ochaco promised and her dad stroke her head.

"I appreciate you wanting to help us, Ochaco. But, as your father, I'd be happier if you achieved your own dreams. That'd make us perfectly happy!" Ochaco's Dad said trustfully.

"And, well, if you do make money, just take us on a vacation." Ochaco's Dad suggested as well.

(Flashback End)

Ochaco managed to do one last thing, giving Katsuki a thumbs up before she passed out.

Midnight moves to check on Ochaco while Katsuki waits to see if the match is really over, the female heroine see that the girl is really unconscious.

"Ochaco Uraraka is KO'd. Katsuki Bakugo advances to the second round!" Midnight announced and the crowd cheers loudly.

Midnight also called in two robots to put Ochaco on a stretcher and ordering them to take Ochaco to Recovery Girl, hoping she's not too out of it.

Katsuki stares at the unconscious girl being sent away to the hero school nurse to get treated and he has to admit, he almost admired the girl for really giving her all like withstanding many of his explosions and almost getting the drop on him with that big ultimate move of hers. This almost reminds him of Deku, the idiot who doesn't know when to stay down.

Katsuki leaves the stage to let Cementoss fix it with his Quirk.

"And that's does for the first round! Man, that was an epic battle! You wouldn't you too agree?" Makiko asked the two Pro Heroes.

"Yeah, it was intense and a bit depressing that Ochaco lost. But I guess she still went loud in the end, so I'm okay with it!" Present Mic smiled.

"Now the first round is complete! We're taking a quick break and then we're back with more matches!" Present Mic announced making the crowd feels excited.

"Better go see how Ochaco will be okay, then to wish Izuku good luck in his next match against Shoto." Kimi walked away.

"Izuku Midoriya, perhaps he could get Shoto to bring out his fire more than I did." Futayo interested to see how this match will go.

Man, Ochaco really gave it her all to battle against Katsuki and this time, she's okay with not being able to fight on anymore as she passed out, and she went out with a smile of Plus Ultra as she made some strong impressions on everyone.
