This is very small, but I decided to make it into a chapter since, well things are happening around Harry.

McGonagall arrived early, walking into the busy Ministry Atrium and enjoying her peace until Augusta Longbottom matched her step.

"Good Morning Minerva."

"Augusta good morning how have you been?"—she said getting into the lift.

"Quite well, I have to say I was surprised when Amelia confided you wanted in an audience with the room."

"Curiosity killed the cat"- she mocked

Augusta hummed-" I say it paints for an exciting day."

They walked in silence until they reached the Wizengamont chamber next to courtroom ten. Minerva shook her head against the memories of all the death eater trials she witnessed. She quickly made her way to the visiting bench. She watched everyone take their seats and paid close attention to those who might cause problems in the future, she understood her presence would be scrutinized he already had too many duties, but she had taught many of these so-called powerful men, and she knew very well how to handle them. The last ones to enter were Dumbledore and Cornelius once they took their seats, the doors sealed.

Cornelius spoke up—"Session of the fifth of November of 1991 has started. Before we commence the floor has been given to Minerva McGonagall"—

Minerva stood up heard the whispers and saw Augusta leaning forward—"Good morning, Lord's ladies I come today to present the legal documentation to accept my place as Proxy of the house of Potter."

She waited for the demands and yelled; she raised the paperwork for everyone to see.

"Silence!"- Dumbledore said- "Lord Greengrass the floor is yours."

"Professor, how did you come to be the Potter proxy after so long?"

"Isn't it obvious"- Lord Avery sneered- "isn't Harry Potter in Hogwarts this year, isn't he a Gryffindor?"

Augusta raised her wand- "lord Avery you're not suggesting that Minerva is forcing heir potter into this agreement, are you?"

Avery said nothing but fixed his robes and rolled his shoulders.

Minerva coughed- "If I could be allowed to explain?"

Fudge agreed.

Minerva passed the paperwork to Amelia—"The bank was left special orders from the disease Lord Potter with names of who would take responsibility of the Potter accounts seat and assets unfortunately the mane Proxys are unavailable and with Heir Potter extraction from our world the documents were sealed. Heir Potter went to Gringotts during the summer and his account manager explained the situation, the decision was made after he got to know me."—She leveled Avery with a glare.

"Yes, but heir Potter" - lord Nott said— "is eleven and I'm sure ignorant to our laws…"

"But not his Guardian"

Amelia looked at the papers— "The documents are legal; Professor McGonagall passed the financial evaluation, and she was the first choice from not only Lord James Potter but also Lord Fleamont Potter. Heir Potter's guardians have signed the documents as a witness and Heir Potter has written why the professor was selected, everything seems in order. So, Madam McGonagall the oath."

Minerva raised her wand— "I Minerva Alexandra McGonagall accept my responsibility as Proxy to the Ancient and Noble house of Potter and vow to guide it with the respect its true Lord would, so mote it be."

Dumbledore allowed her to take the seat, she relaxed when the seat didn't fight her and looked up to Augusta who was smiling wide. She turned to Dumbledore who had knowing eyes. She paid attention to the lord and ladies before her say their news before it was the Potter's turn.

"The house is requesting to unseal the will of the late Lord and Lady Potter; it has been closed and their son as friends and family know nothing of their last wishes we're also asking for The Last five Years of bills laws and legislation the house hasn't been able to vote for."—Minerva didn't expect anyone to object yet she got a surprise when a few looked quite put out for her request. The request was granted and the order for the bills was sent to the advisors.

"The house thanks you"- She sat back down to listen and eventually the session ended and everyone started making their way out, Amelia, Augusta and Lord Marchbanks intercepted her, she tried to walk and avoid questions. She had to apparate to Remus's house. Once he felt her in the wards, he received her with the door open.

"Minerva, I wasn't expecting you today."

"I'm making Albus sweat, he is probably waiting for me."—she said walking straight to the kitchen.

"So how did it go?"—he tried not to sound too excited.

Minerva smiled- "You might get your answers soon, but we have some problems."

Remus started taking notes.

...

She hadn't been in her office 10 minutes before Albus called for her, she arrived at biscuits and tea.

"Albus"—she acknowledged him she sat down— "Go ahead you may ask, I'm surprised you have waited this long."

"I must admit I wanted to see how it was going to play out. What exactly is Remus's intention?"

Minerva gave him a glare—"He wants the answers no one has given him regarding his husband. That boy was never given the opportunity to close that chapter of his life."

Dumbledore sighed – "You have put yourself in the sight of some dangerous people."

"I'm aware, though I don't understand how so, the chair would have remained empty"

"Yes, but Harry still hasn't made friends, many or expecting alliances."

"Harry's alliances are starting to become clear."

Dumbledore didn't agree but he continued—"Will you be able to handle your new assignments?"

Minerva raised her eyebrow.

Dumbledore fought the smile; she knew what he was trying to do—"I know you will be capable, but it is tasking, and being the representative of the House requires dedication…"

She agreed- "I'm more than aware and I know you are aware I'm the face, Remus is in charge of everything else, alongside the solicitor and the Bank."

"Remus seems well prepared, I admit he surprised me with his good fortune."

Minerva tried not to react to that—"He wants the answers you haven't been able or unwilling to provide Albus, he is angry and he needs this closure no more than Harry is involved."

"Harry was too young to be told so much information…"

"He told the boy about his life and family, he didn't even know how Lily and James died he believed them to be drunks, he was abused and starved…"

Dumbledore startled— "I'm sure..."

"That you were wrong to ask Poppy she has the St´Mungos evaluation"—she stood up— "Good Night Albus."

...

Harry was walking down to McGonagall's office for his detention, Ron had detention with Filch and Hermione was helping with Professor Sprout. He knocked and walked in.

"Ah Mr. Potter, you'll be assisting with some grading."—Minerva said extending him an already graded exam. Harry nodded, and they graded in silence—"What is Vera verto?"

"Second year is used to transfigure animated artifacts for living things or vice versa. With the years you can transfigure anything you can make your magic associate with."

"Like a bed?"

"Yes, but your magic and your thoughts have to align."

"Like wandless magic?"—Harry inquired.

Minerva smiled in surprise— "Yes, I see Remus has been explaining."

"He has tried, he bought so many books. I'm interested but Uncle Rem said I have to wait because my core is weak."

"And he's right probably by 4th year you can start trying."—After a while, she spoke again— "I attended your first Wizengamont session yesterday, do you have any questions?"

"Did it have to be published in the paper?"—he said, remembering the whole 3-hour conversation he had about him being a Lord to Hermione.

"I'm afraid all the changes in the chamber receive in amount of publicity."

Harry sighed resigned— "Did they at least approve."

"They had nothing to approve, but yes the will, will read soon perhaps by the end of the month."

"Good, it's important for Uncle Rem."

Minerva looked up at him— "Not for you she inquired."

Harry shrugged— "I know it's important but…I know Uncle Rem wants to know about Sirius Black."

Minerva stopped grading— "How do you feel about him?"

Harry didn't stop grading, but he shook his head—"Confused, angry, sad. Uncle Rem thinks he is half innocent and parts of him really want it to be real…-he looks up to her.

"I wont tell him I promise."

Harry stared at her for a moment—"I found an album of them I don't think I was supposed to, I think he forgot to hide it, he told me they were together not that they were married I asked him and he confessed they had a huge fight last time they saw each other"—Harry pushed himself back in the chair—" that war took not only lives but family. He was so sad, and I don't want him to be sad anymore."

"That's very mature Harry anyone else would be mad."

"Oh, I am if he's guilty he destroyed everything and I'm glad that he's where he is but if he's not... Well, I read about Azkaban, it doesn't sound like a very nice place he might not even be... He might not even be himself anymore and that's horrible."

Minerva felt a wave of pain and nostalgia, Harry looked so much like James Potter, James Potter who would have killed anyone for Sirius Black. —"Sirius's situation is full of doubts, there's been a few moments where things could have been cleared but those in charge believe him guilty and for that reason, all of us should believe the same."

"That's not how things should work"—Harry said with strong conviction.

"I remember the fear of the first month after the war and everybody was trying to find someone else to blame, Sirius and many others paid the price. Remus was unable to do anything, without anyone protecting him, he can't ask much."

"What can we do about that?"

"About what?"

"Werewolves, I want to change that."

Minerva laughed, yes Remus might be right Harry will certainly keep people on their toes.

The next chapter is emotional so prepare yourself. Thank you for your comments and remember I do this for fun.
