Honestly I'm glad to be wearing a sun-glass out in this sunny weather today . And this ice cream of mine is almost finished and I want more of it and more and more . Feel bad for Suguru though , poor guy doesn't like anything cold . He will rather die in this weather than stop being stubborn for once . He won't even look at me once , what's with that attitude ! Should I annoy him like usual ? I'm pretty exhausted from the last mission we went on and for some reason I can't seem to remember what it was. Probably a lower grade insignificant curse , yeah . The sky is really cool looking today , summertime but looks kinda foggy too.

"Hey Suguru , mind waiting a bit ? I'm gonna go grab a coke ." He finally looks at me and nods his head . Not sure if it is actually 'looking' at me though , cause all he did was nod with a smile and his eyes closed and then again looking the other way . Well, that works for me . Really wondering why he isn't talking though . Anyway, " you want something ? yo ? "
He nods and it's a no .
Being the good friend I am I bought him a Snicker . Suguru loves those . I am having a can of orange juice cause why not ? " Suguruu.. here ." I'ts real hot out here and the uniforms suck but I can't help but give my lovely friend a tight hug .
" Thanks Satoru , but it was'nt necessary. "
Fuckin hell , he finally speaks ! But he is'nt resisting my long time hug like he usually does . Instead, he's looking towrads the path full of beige and grey pebbles . Something is off ! He's a quite one but this is something else. I take a sip out of my can . This juice tastes different today . Much more pure and delicate . It is perfection , a bit weird and almost like I'm taking in cold mist into my mouth .
" What is up Suguru ? you aren't talking to me ! why don't you tell me what it is ! Come on now, tell me what is bothering you . " He looks at me , a helpless kinda look on his face .
" Satoru.."
" yeah ? " I'm dying to know what this idiot has to say . It's god damn hot outside , so hurry it up ! But he probably won't tell me if I mess around right now . OK GOJO , LET'S BE SERIOUS !
" Satoru , do you mind if we go somewhere else instead of the school right now ? "
That's what he was trying to say ? That's the reason he's been making that face all along ? Neh! there must be much more to it . And it's not like we have anything better to do back at the school . Going somewhere is definitely better than seeing the face of our master . But Suguru usually doesn't suggest sight-seeing . He likes all plans and all but , his lazy ass doesn't really like to do much . But even after all that he does a pretty great job at excorsising curses . Well, he kinda has to eat them in order to do so ..anyway .
" Sure let's go . Though it will be sweet if it's somewhere cold . Cause this sun is killing me . My body feels like it'll tear into...Anddd he's off . Wait up ! "

I know the town pretty well or I think I do ! But , I seem to have no idea of where we are heading . " Suguru , you aren't trying to take me to some corner or a hotel room...? . " I'm trying to make a joke here and this guy for god's sake won't laugh a bit . No fun . Anyway seems like the sun is going to take a break . Good for us . I take my sunglass off and take the last sip out of my orange juice . Always put your trush in the bin, yes . I see a shack at the distance . It's surrounded by Wisteria trees . We seem to be heading that way . I see a woman with the same colored hair as me standing beside the tiny door. I don't ask any questions and just follow Suguru's lead . This is his plan after all . The shack isn't much but it looks really peaceful and heavenly . Must be because of the Wisterias . Now that I look closer , the woman surely looks like a goddess . Can't see her eyes though , she has a blindfold on . A blue one . This place is really MAJESTIC... is it ? Feels like a dream . Suguru speaks for a few with that lady and comes toward me with two white clothes . What is he up to , are those shirts ? Damn , a bit dramatic but okaay ! I put it on as Suguru said and damn , do we look good ! Two hot best friends wearing matching shirts , even though I never understood the pants he wears , but Suguru has always had a good taste in style than me . He told me to wait but where has he gone ! It's been a few minutes..hello ? Never mind , he is here and is that a bike I see ?
" What is this ? a bike ride .. but where's mine ?"
"You are sitting on the back ." He says with a soft smile . His facial expressions are slightly back to the usual 'Suguru Geto expressions'. I'm glad , yeah .
" Well ok , let's go ! " I was the one to teach Suguru how to actually ride a bike after we became students of our sorcery school . He has gotten better , but not yet better than me , hehehe . Though I'm very excited ! Let's see what he's got .
" Ready ? Hold tight to me . " He says . Yeah of course , I gotta hold tight . Hopefully he won't get both of us killed by crashing the bike . I sit as he says . Two black birds of some sort flew away towards the North . A sweet wind blew forward almost like it was accelerating the speed of our ride . Oh yeah , Suguru has already started paddling and he's building quite the speed . I can't actually describe the sceneries around me because I'm enjoying our time together so much . I know I know, it has just yet started , but everything happening right now is just making me really happy . It should be like this sometimes between exhausting amount of sorceries . Just me and you , Suguru .
" Looks like we are going to face quite a drop up front , Satoru ! "
" Hell yeah ! Go faster ..." Suguru is giggling . " But are you sure we won't crush ?"
" Shut up ! "
We both laugh our hearts out .

There wasn't any crash ! And it looks like we are finally at the spot he wanted us to go . Not sure if I've been to this part of town yet . But, it looks nice and peaceful . And new places are fun to look at .
" So , what is this place ? " I got to ask , obviously .
" Just walk with me Satoru . "
" Fine Sir . " He gives me the 'YOU IDIOT ' look and starts walking in his usual posture leaning forward. I walk as he leads . A lot of trees . I definitely can hear swans with splashes of water which means there must be some sort of pond or lake nearby . I can't help but admire the nature but I gotta make a few jokes on the way , otherwise I won't be Satoru Gojo at all .
" What is this Suguru ? I didn't know you were this romantic ! "
I'm pretty sure he smiled but he is just hiding it away for some reason . He still hasn't told me what was up with him earlier or what is even going on now . I guess eventually he'll tell me , no pressure . I can see a pond now . A very large water body to be a pond but it definitely isn't a lake . And yeah , as I assumed, few swans are here . I quickly run over towards the bridge . The sky is still bright , Sun is back to normal .
" Yo Suguru , come here . "
He slowly approaches forward like a pageant queen . "What the hell ! Come closer . " I put my arm around his shoulder and lean closer to him . The water is nice and clear . Angle-fishes are swimming around . I see a lot of black ones . And few white ones at some distance under the water . I'm liking this very much and I hope it never ends.. Suguru looks at me with the softest yet appealing smile ..
" Satoru , so there isn't much I can say right now or neither do we have any time left .."
" Yeah , Sensei would be pretty mad if we stay late ."
" No , it's not that .."
"Then what is it ? "
" Satoru, I came here so you could spend some time with me .."
" Yeah I can see that ." He looks very serious for some reason . He goes,
" Ugh! It probably won't make sense now , but here me out quietly for a bit . You know I care about you even after you do the most stupidest things possible . I've always tried to look out for you and still am . You probably might wake up all confused or might not ... but I'm here to help you so that you can live . So that you can make sure , everyone lives . " He lets out a breath but , the hell is he talking about ! Waking up where ? Let's just here him out .
" Satoru , the clock is tickling . The thing is this isn't the real world . this is a space between life and death . A space where some people find a way to go back to the earth and live , fight . And also where some people give up and accept the fate that they think they deserve . And I'm here to help you find your way out , cause you have a good soul and good souls always find their way out . I'm here so that you can live ; cause I want you to live . My whole life I've always questioned my identity as a jujutsu sorcerer and I choose the wrong path that lead me towards my fate , that lead us to a separation . See, we write our own fates , make our own choices and fight as we want . Back then I was hurt , really really hurt inside ! But I never even thought that you'd get hurt as much as I did . I knew you could've just finished me off with your powers , but you avoided me . You kept yourself away cause you were deeply in pain inside . Ugh , I sound cringey . " Pause . So he's telling me I'm kinda in a live or die situation ..interesting . How did I die though ! Let me ask , " Go on , but how am I dead ..if u can kindly explain ? "
He smiles a delicate smile and says , " So, you believe me ? That's good . "
" Yeah , what is there not to believe ? You won't lie about this sort of stuff , not to me at least ." His eyes turns bright along with his face . Then again ,
" Now Satoru we are short on time , so listen . You ended up here after fighting the king of the curses..which is still going on .."
" No way ..and then ?"
" Now as they say , you were supposed to travel all the way towards north and this is the furthest you can go ..with me beside you at least . If you want to know what is up with me , it's just I didn't want you to face the same fate as me . That's why I was a bit off the whole time ."
" So, why didn't you just say it all from the begining ? "
" Well, I thought just in case you don't believe me being the idiot you are , the safer option would be to get you here first and then explain . And yeah , all because I want you to live . So, don't disappoint me . "
" Damn ..best friend .." I hear a distant ring of bell . Like the bells from a Buddhist temple .
" Umm, Satoru . I think it's time . I've told you the necessary things , now it's your turn to act ."
" Wait , isn't this a bit soon ..?" He smiles again and hugs me tighter than ever .
" You idiot ! wake up and you will definitely use the opposite word of soon ."
I wanna scream right now , probably the best time to put on my sunglasses back . He rests his head on my shoulder for a bit and says ,
" This isn't really a goodbye , it'll all make sense when it's over . "
What is he , dumb ! I can hardly hold back anything right now ; the time, my tears , him . I hear a loud ring of bell this time . All the swans flew away towards the sun but I could care less right now . The bell is continuosly ringing now and a purple flame -fire is building up with it . I want to scream every single word to make him stop from what he's doing right now . Walking toward the god damn fire isn't a goodbye ? I hate you ...
" Suguru.."
" Satoru.."

And just like that he's gone , the fire is burning my body now , but I don't see it being more painful than watching my best friend getting taken away by it .. It's just all dark blue now .

All of that was just an epiphany then ? Hellish and harsh ! But what the hell now ? What is this now ? Aren't I supposed to be lying defeated in front of Sukana? I can't go through this again . Two times already is enough ! And..
" Hey ." Suguru says with a smile on his face , sitting on the chair next to me . My honest reaction,
" Blegh ! "
" Pretty rude thing to say right after seeing someone's face . " He says with a dramatic hurt face .
" You're kidding me , this sucks ." I'm real pissed right now .
" Does it matter ? "
" Please tell me this is some ridiculous dream..."
