Two Years ago Albert safely delivered Emanuel Albert Olsen. Albert delights in seeing Emmanuel being pushed on the swings outside by the church, or seeing Willie sneak him candy from the mercantile during their trips.

In the last two years Albert has seen Rachel endure bouts of depression due to not being able to expand her family biologically. Every now and then it has hurt him to see her silently cry when she saw a pregnant woman in Walnut Grove. Albert knew in his heart that Willie and Rachel and their growing children would make a wonderful family for a infant or child Albert just prayed one day they'd realize the same in their hearts.

It had been three days since the town gathered in the diner to celebrate Emmanuel's 2nd birthday so Willie and Albert were cleaning the diner. Albert was trying to scrape gum off of one of the high chairs when a sickly looking woman walked in. She caught Albert's attention first.

"Whose idea was it to give a toddler gum?! " Willie groaned in annoyance over Albert's task.

"Willie look up." Albert whispered in reply,

Willie slowly looked up and he and Albert must admit they stared impolitely at the woman before Albert spoke first.

"Hello" Albert stated

"Hey… I'm Gracie Jane." The woman replied in a shaky fearful tone.

"No need to be fearful" Willie replied

Albert kindly escorted the quiet woman to his wagon she still seemed too fearful to talk. But as her body shivered her winter coat sleeve fell off her right shoulder and that's when Albert saw she was pregnant.

"Are you expecting?!. I'm a doctor. I ask with no judgment." He stated

"Yes … I'm pregnant." She whispered in shame and that's all she would reply

Albert didn't know this woman. But he was determined to show this woman kindness but most of all her namesake Grace. So he took her to his office and set her up in the spare bedroom. She quickly fell asleep.

Albert woke up the next morning to a crash. He quickly ran downstairs and realized the pregnant woman he was sheltering had fell onto the floor and she was clenching her stomach.

"She's in labor." Albert whispered to himself.

Albert quickly came to her aid. Then like clockwork Willie arrived with Anna who had a big bloody gash on her forehead. But when he heard the moans of the woman behind the curtain that was the least of their worries.

Albert went back behind the curtain, Anne followed him. Anne without any instruction went to the woman and held her hand and gently talked to her.

The labor went quickly and miraculously this woman who had only just come into their lives, delivered two baby boys.

For the first two weeks Gracie would only talk to Albert and Anna . Albert and Anna helped her care for her babies. Finally Albert realized Anna needed to attend school. So Albert slowly introduced her to Rachel.

Rachel fell in love with these dark haired newborns before her. Albert watched her care for them he soon realized his desperation for childcare might come as a devastating blow to Rachel once Gracie and babies found permanent residence.

For a month from 8 AM To 8 PM Rachel and Anna cared for the twin boys. As soon as Anna got out of school she ran to Albert's office to resume her duties.

Despite the kindness being shown to her Gracie Jane still refused to open up.

Another month passed before Albert woke up yet again to a sound. But only this time it was the sound of a closing door. Despite his quickness Albert arrived at his office to find that Gracie Jane was gone from her cot. But the babies were soundly in their cribs., generously given by Rachel.

After peeking outside he discovered no one was around the property of the doctors office building.

Albert walked closer to the babies and saw a letter laying in the crib next to one of the babies. He gently picked the letter up.

"Dear Albert, I am Gracie Jane I am an orphan. The father of these boys is black. I promise you, I thought he loved me. We were engaged, but as soon as I became pregnant he bailed. My orphanage was very wonderful. I hid my pregnancy as long as I could but three months ago as they learned I was pregnant and by a Blackman they threw my items outside. I gathered my things cried and prayed. I suppose the blessing was they gave me enough money for a train ticket. But I only had enough money to get me to here. I have nothing. Rachel loves these boys. I'm not ready to be a Ma. My prayer on the train ride here was to find a home for my child. And I found it tenfold. Let them be Olsen's.

With Love, Gracie Jane

As soon as he finished crying. Albert called Willie and told him to bring Rachel to come to the office immediately. And they did. Once Albert explained the situation they were all crying.

Rachel and Willie held their newborn sons in awe. Little Emmanuel was taking a nap in the wagon outside but he quickly woke up and ran inside. He smiled with joy as Rachel bent down and introduced him to one of his two new baby brothers.

Rachel and Willie stayed at the office all day, soaking in their new bundles of joy. When afternoon arrived , Albert went to greet Anna and Andrew as school was released for the day. On the way to the office Albert told the story.

Once Andrew, Anna, and Albert arrived at the office. Anna and Andrew ran in and side hugged their parents and stared at their new baby brothers.

"I am going to Miss Gracie Jane. I loved her." Anna said through her tears of joy.

"That is very kind of you to think of Gracie Jane." Albert replied

Olsen Family legally adopted the twins when they were eight months old. Their names became legalized as Jonathan Nelson Olsen and Greyson James Olsen. They Choose the middle name Nelson to honor Nels. And Greyson sounded like Grace. And they simply wanted a J initial to honor the Initials of their Birth Mother,

But since the day Gracie Jane left Anna Olsen prayed for Gracie Jane's return. Not for her to come and take her baby brothers. She loved them dearly. She just wanted Gracie Jane to be apart of their family as well. It was something she confessed only to Albert because adoption was so personal to him. Albert's reply was "You are doing the right thing, I would hope that if someone was kind enough to my Biological Mother she could've kept me or at least been apart of my life. "

ONE YEAR LATER.

The first Year of Willie and Rachel Olsen raising their twin boys passed in a quick blink. Rachel did seem content. From Albert's view he believed the Olsen family was complete.

Party was a blur of cakes, balloons, and Two Rocky Horses made by John Carter and Grandpa Nels Rachel had went home so the babies could nap. So Albert, Willie, and the oldest Olsen kids stayed back at the Restaurant to clean up. Willie, Albert, and Andrew were in the kitchen. And Anna was cleaning tables in the dinning room. From the kitchen they all heard the door sound.

A moment later they heard the excited squeal erupt from Anna and then she excitedly said the name "Gracie Jane."

Gracie Jane visited with the boys for two days.

She declared she had felt Anna's prayers, they worked. She had found work as a waitress in a small town a 100 miles south of Walnut Grove. The restaurant was owned by a pastor and his family. They knew her story and showed her grace. She lived in a little backroom of the restaurant. The wife gave her money to come visit her boys for their first birthday.

Right before she left the Olsen family gave her their blessing to come visit anytime.

This all started with his cure of Leukemia.

Then it was Medical School graduation, Risky Surgery he performed on the wife of his best friend to save their unborn child. The Adoption of Twin Boys , and the miraculous reunion with their Biological Mother

The theme here was God saving lives. Originally Albert thought God only saved two beautiful lives. Emanuel's and Rachel's. But in the last Eleven Years he'd saved way more.

Way more than TWO.
