"Let's get your arm bandaged." Katya held her hand out to Kim.

As Kim placed her arm in her fiance's care, she frowned, "I'm sorry."

Katya hummed, "For what?"

"This. Everything. What I put you through- you didn't deserve any of it."

"You didn't either," Katya affirmed, looking into her eyes, "What he did, what he's done... neither of us deserved to go through that."

Katya raised her hand, placing it on the necklace's skull charm.

"I know you're looking for something more, but rushing into things and being impulsive will get you nowhere. You should let it come to you."

"And if it doesn't...?" Kim uttered.

"I'm right here, aren't I?" Katya tilted her head, "We still have the whole world to see."

Kim started to smile, "There's a place in Rome..."

"Maybe after our wedding."

"I was thinking honeymoon in Rome."

Katya blushed, "Oh, sounds amazing..."

"I plan for it to be amazing." Kim smiled.

While Katya wasn't looking, Matt sneakily grabbed a blood pack from her medical bag.

"What? It's not like anyone's bleeding out." He told Tom. The other rolled his eyes, not saying anything as Matt poked his fangs into the pouch.

"What do we do now?" Edd spoke, glancing at Tord.

"Nothing." Larry shrugged, "William is dead; the Black Leader is no more."

Void eyes widened at that statement.

"What...?" Tord looked at him with wide eyes, "Are you sure?"

"I literally saw him get crushed." The sandy blonde crossed his arms.

Kim and Katya shared a look as they held each other.

There was a small, watery laugh.

"Tom...?" Matt frowned, gazing at the smaller.

Tom didn't respond as he curled into himself, shaking slightly, tears coming out of his eyes as he smiled painfully. Another chuckle escaped his mouth as he spoke, "Finally..."

He wept, leaning against Matt, ignoring the blood dribbling down the taller one's chin. The ginger's eyes widened, not expecting Tom to initiate the contact. He tried his best to wipe off his chin before wrapping his arms around him.

"Tommy?" Matt muttered. Tom buried his head in Matt's chest, shoulders shaking as his cries were muffled.

"He was selfish." Arthur said, "All he ever cared about was himself."

Tom peered up at him, tears streaming down his face as he listened.

"Life was a game to him. Everyone around him was his pawn- you, me, Larry, and Theresa. He wasn't a good person, especially not a good father." There was a shift as Arthur turned to gaze at Tom, "He was always like that, and I doubt anyone could change his mindset."

Arthur turned his gaze, staring blankly at nothing in the distance, "And now I wonder how I didn't realize sooner..."

Katya finished assessing everyone's wounds and gave suggestions on how to care for them. She was more thorough and harsh on Arthur since he insisted he was fine despite having a stab wound that nearly went through his leg.

Kim also invited Edd and Tord to her wedding despite the duo's previous attraction towards her.

The fiances' went on their way, not before thanking them.

Returning to the mansion, everyone was at a standstill of what was left to do.

Arthur sat in a recliner, bored out of his mind while he tapped away on his laptop. He couldn't do any strenuous activity, such as walking up or down stairs.

Edd and Tord were on the couch, talking quietly with each other. Clay sat on the armrest reading a comic book.

Pat was preparing food in the kitchen while Pau watched from afar. The taller wasn't exactly a good cook, seeing that Pat banned him from using the stove or oven.

Larry and Bing were downstairs, the shorter wanting to do more research, and the director following him like a lost puppy.

Yan and You were resting in the guest rooms. They needed it after all of the chaos that ensued.

Matt was running a bath for Tom, making sure it wasn't too hot before turning to the other, who was frowning at him.

"You know I can do it myself, right? I'm not that helpless." The bassist spoke.

"I know. I- don't want to make it seem like I don't care..." The ginger averted his eyes, then stepped forward, looking at him with certainty, "But I do care! A lot! And I would never not care about you. You're my one and only, you know?"

Tom's eyes widened as his face grew red, "Uh- yeah..."

"Good! Enjoy your bath, Tommy." Matt pecked him on the cheek and left the bathroom.

Matt sighed as he shut the door, hearing the sound of water sloshing around moments later. He wanted to stick around in case Tom needed him for something but decided to go downstairs since the others were probably wondering where he was.

"Hey, Matt." Tord noticed him first, looking over Edd's shoulder.

"Hey, guys." Matt smiled, walking over to stand beside his father, and gave him a slight tap on the shoulder.

Arthur hummed, "Matt, how much energy does the wrist reflect have left?"

"The wha... oh-" Matt brought his wrist up, peering at the gauge, "A bit under half."

"Huh, I expected worse." He muttered.

"Hey!" The younger glared.

"Only kidding!" Arthur chuckled, "Kind of..."

Matt crossed his arms, pouting.

"Hey, where's Tom?" Edd asked.

"In the bath," Matt replied. The other nodded, looking relieved before going back to his conversation with Tord.

"Matt, can you check to see if there's any mail?" Arthur tilted his head up, "It should've been delivered today."

"Sure." He gave a short nod.

Exiting the house, Matt strolled down the path and to the stone brick wall that held the mailbox. Opening it, he found an envelope.

'Huh, whoever sent this...' Matt turned it in his grasp, analyzing the braille, 'Must know dad can't see.'

He decided to leave it to his father to figure it out, turning to go back inside when he heard a sigh beyond the gate.

"You can do this. I can do this... just press the button."

Matt raised an eyebrow, shifting back as he tried to look through the bars, "Hello?"

A yelp and a skittering noise was heard as the person walked into Matt's view, wide-eyed.

The ginger gasped, stepping back as he felt himself choke and sputter, "J-Jon!?"
