Hello reader!

If you've made it this far into the story, I'd like to apologize for my chaotic author notes in the previous chapters. Seriously, I truly cringed re-reading them.

As you've probably figured or read, this story was published by me at a very young age.

8 years have passed since I last updated. 12 years have passed since I first published this story.

I'm not sure what compelled me to pick up the pieces again, as I can't remember the last time I have even read a fanfiction. Nor do I even remember what the original plot of this story was to begin with. But nostalgia came over me after a trip down memory lane. I wrote these stories during a difficult time in my life, and I used writing as an outlet. It helped me tremendously and I genuinely mean it from the bottom of my heart that every single review of encouragement made me feel like I was on top of the world. Looking through them again nearly brought tears to my eyes as I remember a time where I'd be constantly refreshing the webpage to see if there were more reviews of people enjoying my story.

If by some chance there is an old reader that comes across this story again, thank you so much for checking back. If you're a new reader, thank you for stopping by and reading this story that I had so much fun writing.

I'm happy to say that Beauty and the Nerd is finally complete, and I've uploaded the remaining chapters to tie loose ends! *cue the confetti*

I'd like to apologize if there's a big difference in the writing style for the chapters coming up – it's been a long time and I tried my best to keep it connected. Also hard to remember what high school was like (not trying to age myself here lol).

And as a final message to those who enjoyed this story (and my other stories), don't ever let go of the hobbies that make you happy. No matter how "nerdy" or "weird" you think they are, if you enjoy doing them (and they're not harming others), you're in the right place. Never lose your inner child because the society we live in, burdens us with so many responsibilities. It can make our outlook on life become so dull. Always MAKE the time (key word – make) for things you enjoy doing because it's what keeps you sane.

Fanfiction was something I convinced myself I grew out of but that is far from the truth. Always had a soft spot for it, and always will.

Enjoy the next few chapters of one of my favorite fanfictions I had the pleasure of writing!

A big hug to you all.
