Fifteen minutes later...
Class 1-A had finally made it to André Le Grand Paris. Midoriya had noticed that Ladybug's heroic nature started to dwindle once she saw him, Bakugo and Todoroki using their quirks. He didn't understand why that was the case, but was hoping he could brighten her day a little before they left. After all, they did help them out a lot.
The moment they entered the hotel, an older man with a sash greeted them with glee.
"Ladybug, Cat Noir! So good to see you two! And I see you've brought us some guests as well."
"Yes, Mayor Bourgeois," Ladybug told him, "They've come here all the way from Japan. They go to a special school to become heroes."
"Th-The Mayor?!" Midoriya thought completely taken off guard. "I didn't know I'd be meeting the Mayor of Paris!"
"Really? Well, that must be quite a school to be enrolled into!" The Mayor exclaimed with excitement in his eyes.
"Unfortunately, they just got here and don't have a place to stay," Cat Noir explained to the Mayor.
"Well, we did," Mr. Aizawa stepped in as the class's teacher, "We just lost track of the hotel we were going to stay at. I hope this is no trouble."
"Not at all," The Mayor told the class, "The fact that you guys came all the way from Japan is a good enough reason to book rooms for all of you."
"Thank you so much, sir!" Iida eagerly said as he bowed to him, "This means a lot to me and my class!"
"DADDY!"
Everyone's eardrums erupted as an annoying girl's voice echoed through the lobby. The whole class followed the direction to the top of the stairs, and a girl probably around Ladybug's age came stomping down towards the Mayor. Her curly, blond hair was pulled into a ponytail with white sunglasses neatly placed on top. She had put on makeup that made her blue eyes stand out, especially with her yellow jacket over her white and black striped shirt.
Everything about her told Midoriya she wasn't someone you'd want to get involved with. Ever.
"What are you doing letting these foreigners step all over our hotel floor?!" The blond girl cried out, even though she was standing right in front of them.
"She's the Mayor's daughter?!" The whole class thought in unison.
"Chloe sweetie, these guests came all the way from Japan," The Mayor explained, but he seemed a little nervous around his own daughter.
"Japan?" Chloe questioned as she puckered her lips. She took a step closer to them, specifically Midoriya.
He felt stiff as a board as she seemed to be analyzing his outfit and quite possibly his face.
"What's with the outfits? Do they go to a boarding school or something?"
"Um... Act-Actually, we go to--"
"I wasn't talking to you, Broccoli Boy," Chloe insulted to his freckled face.
Her eyes narrowed in on him as if he were the only one in the room. Midoriya felt like he was back in Middle School the moment she opened her mouth. Back when he was quirkless.
"No sweetie, they go to a hero school, and they've come to see our heroes!"
"Hero school?" Chloe's demeanor seemed to change the instant he mentioned it, "There's a hero school?! How come I've never heard of this, hero school? What's it called, Broccoli Boy? Well, speak!"
"Um... Well... I-It's called--"
"Leave him alone," Uraraka interrupted Chloe's banter, and then turned to her friend in need, "Deku, you don't have to tell her anything. Just ignore her."
"Deku?" Chloe couldn't help but laugh in her face. "What kind of name is that?"
"It's his hero name. Something you wouldn't understand," Uraraka said sternly, her eyes locked on her new enemy.
"WHAT?! How dare you! You have no idea what you're talking about! I am Queen B--"
"That's enough, Chloe," Ladybug interrupted, stepping between the class and the Mayor's daughter, "Mayor, I'm hoping this doesn't change anything. They still need a place to stay."
"Ye-Yes, of course," The Mayor said, feeling embarrassed about his daughter acting up in front of tourists, "Chloe, if I buy you a new cell phone, will you leave them alone?"
Chloe's blue eyes brightened up as she spun around to face her father.
"Really? Fine, I'll be nicer to them. Just don't give them any rooms near mine," She told him, still being a brat about the situation.
"She lives here?! Great..." Midoriya groaned in his head. He could swear he was already getting a headache from her loud complaints.
Ladybug and Cat Noir let out a sigh of relief as they helped the class settle into the hotel. After a long day, the Mayor and heroes finally escorted them to their rooms. He gave them three rooms, and let their teacher take care of the rest.
"Alright, class," Mr. Aizawa announced as the Mayor and heroes watched their class, "Since we've only got three rooms, I've decided on who you're all going to be rooming in with."
The whole class looked around, wondering what their teacher might possibly be thinking. He always had a trick or two up his sleeve.
"I will be in Room 201, along with Tenya Iida, Yuga Aoyama and Rikido Sato."
The three he called on breathed in a sigh of relief since they didn't have to room in with a certain someone.
"Room 202 will be Ochaco Uraraka, Kyouka Jirou and Mina Ashido."
The girls squealed quietly as they hugged it out together.
The rest of the students that didn't get picked knew exactly what was coming next.
"And finally, Room 203 will be Izuku Midoriya, Shouto Todoroki, Katsuki Bakugo and Eijiro Kirishima."
Midoriya glanced over at his childhood friend and noticed that he was biting his lip. Probably to stop himself from speaking out about sharing a room with him. Luckily, he didn't say a word.
"Ladybug, Cat Noir," Mr. Aizawa turned to Parisian's heroes, "Thank you for helping us find a place to stay. I'm sure we'll meet again soon, but I need to take care of my students now."
"Of course, um..." Ladybug said, but stumbled on what his name was, "I'm sorry, I don't know your name."
"Shouta Aizawa, but call me by my hero name: Eraser Head," Mr. Aizawa introduced as he shook their hands, "It's a pleasure to meet you two."
"I guess we'll be heading out then--"
"Wait Ladybug, Cat Noir," Midoriya interrupted as he ran over to them with a notebook and pen he had pulled out of his luggage, "Ca-Can I have your autograph? Thi-This is my first time meeting heroes from Paris."
Ladybug and Cat Noir gave him a big smile and accepted it as they took the notebook and pen. Then Midoriya remembered the look on Ladybug's face earlier and knew what to say next.
"If there's anything we can ever do to help you guys, please let me know," Midoriya told them, but made sure they were the only ones that could hear him, "Oh, and call me Deku. That's my hero name as well."
Ladybug and Midoriya locked eyes for a moment, and he knew instantly that he got through to her. Her eyes brightened up as she signed his notebook after Cat Noir.
"Thank you, Deku. I will."
"Hey, I want an autograph too!" Ashido exclaimed as she ripped a piece of paper out of her notebook in her luggage and ran over to join in.
"Me too!" Uraraka agreed.
Almost everyone from the class joined in and were enjoying the rest of their time with the heroes. After a few minutes of signing autographs, Ladybug and Cat Noir left the hotel happier than ever.
"Well, that was quite the adventure m'lady," Cat Noir commented once they exited the building.
"Yeah, it was," Ladybug agreed as she turned around to spot the heroes in training through one of the windows, "But I have a feeling we'll see them again very soon."
"Huh? What do you mean by that?"
As Ladybug took out her yo-yo, she gestured him to follow her.
"Come on, kitty. We need to talk."
In Room 203...
The sun was starting to set as everyone went to their rooms, giving each and every room in the hotel a nice, warm glow.
Midoriya thought sharing a room with Bakugo might feel a little cramped. But once they opened the door to their room, that problem pretty much flew out the window. There were pretty much two rooms that connected with plenty of space for their luggage and each room had a queen size bed and a lounge chair. There was even a TV and dresser for both rooms and a bathroom in between.
There was enough room for practicing their quirks if they wanted to.
"Wow!" Kirishima was the first to speak, "I didn't expect our room to be this fancy!"
"Well, it is the Mayor's hotel," Todoroki explained as he brought his luggage over to the closest bed.
While Bakugo wasn't looking, Midoriya inconspicuously moved his luggage next to Todoroki's. He just knew they'd get along better in this room if Bakugo bunked with Kirishima instead of him. Fortunately, Bakugo didn't seem to notice as he automatically dragged his luggage over to the other side of the room along with his red head friend.
"Well, that settles that then..." Midoriya thought as he let out a deep breath he'd been holding ever since they got to meet the Mayor of Paris.
And his daughter, Chloe.
The look on her face when she was staring at him was stuck in his head as he unpacked his clothes. He didn't even know her, and yet she was still able to intimidate him. Maybe it was because she's the Mayor's daughter, someone rich and could pretty much do whatever she wanted. Well, whatever it was, he hoped he wouldn't accidentally bump into her that often while they were here.
"Are you okay, Midoriya?" Todoroki asked as he was doing the same thing with his luggage of clothes.
Chloe's intimidating stare faded away as Todoroki's calming grey and blue eyes came into view. That alone got him to relax his shoulders.
"Ye-Yeah... I'm okay."
"Does this have anything to do with Chloe?" He asked calmly without getting him upset again, "She was being kind of pushy towards you for some reason."
"Yeah," Kirishima intervened, "That girl was kind of a jerk. It's a good thing Uraraka stood up to her."
For a moment, Midoriya forgot about the fact that Uraraka did that for him. He's going to have to thank her in the morning.
"I would've demolished that rich bitch if she talked to me like that!" Bakugo yelled as his hand started to smoke.
"Keep it down, Bakugo," Kirishima told him, "We don't want to get kicked out right away. Besides, the Mayor might hear you talking about his daughter."
There was a gentle knock at the door.
The four of them tensed up, hoping that was anyone, but Mr. Aizawa or the Mayor. Todoroki was the one brave enough to open the door.
For a split second, Midoriya thought he saw Chloe standing outside the room. Fortunately, it wasn't her.
A girl wearing a blue beanie over her long, blond hair with a pink streak and bright blue eyes stood before them. She wore a leather jacket over a flower graphic t-shirt and yellow pants. Even her shoes stood out amongst the rest of her outfit.
"Hi, I heard we had guests from Japan," She told them with a box of some sort, "So I brought over some macarons to welcome you."
The blond girl handed Todoroki the box, and he opened it to see a bunch of different colored macarons. Midoriya and Kirishima couldn't take their eyes off of how delicious they looked.
"Wow, these look really good!" Midoriya exclaimed.
"Hehe they should be. My friend Marinette made them. Her parents work at the Bakery Shop nearby."
"Oh yeah," Kirishima said, "We did walk by the shop. I could smell it from outside."
"Thank you for the macarons, um..." Midoriya said with a bow.
"Zoe, my name is Zoe Lee. I'm the Mayor's daughter."
"Th-The Mayor's daughter?!" The four of them thought in unison.
"Great, another rich bitch in the hotel," Bakugo growled, "You just came here to mock us, didn't you?!"
"Kacchan! You're going to get us kicked out," Midoriya told him, and then turned to Zoe, "Sorry about him."
"Let me guess, my half sister wasn't very friendly with our guests?" Zoe said as she took a step inside their room.
"Half... Sister... Chloe's your half sister?!" Midoriya exclaimed without realizing it.
"Yeah, I'm sorry if she was mean to you guys in any way. She can be a bit... uh... harsh sometimes when someone new comes to the hotel."
"A bit harsh?" Kirishima questioned, pointing to his friend, "She called Midoriya, Broccoli Boy."
Midoriya's face began to turn a shade of red, barely able to look her in the eyes.
"And your dad just allows this?" Todoroki asked, not really understanding how the Mayor of Paris has any business whatsoever. It seemed weird to him that the Mayor just allows his kids to do whatever they want.
"Yeah, pretty much," Zoe told them, "He tends to buy her something whenever she's misbaving."
"That's..." Midoriya didn't know how to respond to that.
"Hey, don't worry about it too much. I'll make sure she doesn't bother you too much. Sorry, I don't know your names..."
"Oh! Sorry, I'm Izuku Midoriya, this is Shouto Todoroki..." He gave Zoe a head nod. "This is Eijiro Kirishima..." "Yo!" "...And this is--"
"I can introduce myself, Deku," Bakugo interrupted, "The name's Katsuki Bakugo. You're not as irritating as your sister, so I'll give you that at least."
"Oh, thank you for the macarons!" Midoriya gave her another bow, "I can't wait to try them!"
"It's no problem," Zoe told him as she pulled out a marker, "Why don't I give you my phone number, Izuku?"
"What? Well, um..."
Before he could answer her, she gently grabbed his right hand and wrote her phone number down. Midoriya could barely hide his blemished, face as her hand tickled his.
"That way you can call me if Chloe is bothering you," Zoe explained as she noticed the scars on his hand, "And don't worry about sharing the macarons. I gave the rest of your class plenty to choose from."
"Tha-That's very nice of you," Midoriya told her, still red in the face.
"I can't believe her and Chloe are related."
"Well, I didn't want to get in the way of your hero work. I'll see you soon!" Zoe told the four of them as she ran off to the elevator at the end of the hallway.
And just like that, she was gone.
"She seems nice," Kirishima told his friends, "At least there's someone living in the hotel that isn't a complete jerk."
"Yeah..." Midoriya mumbled as he closed the door. He just stared her phone number on his hand, still trying to understand what just happened.
"A girl from Paris just gave me her phone number! And not just any girl, the Mayor's daughter!"
"Did you notice that she knew about us being heroes in training?" Todoroki pointed out.
"Oh yeah. That's weird," Midoriya said, snapping out of his excitement, "She didn't even ask about it."
It felt really good to know someone around here that wanted to be friends with him and not because of the hero status. She didn't even know about his quirk or anything. A smile grew on his face as he looked at the box of macarons Zoe had left for them.
Midoriya opened it and took a green one. His mouth was already watering, and he hadn't even tasted it yet. He took a bite out of it and could immediately taste pistachios. It was so flaky and soft that it practically melted in his mouth.
He had to stop himself from taking another one.
"Wow! Guys, these are amazing! You have to try one!" Midoriya declared to his friends.
"Really? Let me see," Kirishima said as he reached for a red one.
Todoroki grabbed a red and white one while Bakugo took an orange one.
"I-It's so good!" Kirishima cried out.
"It tastes like peppermint," Todoroki told them.
"It tastes like I'm eating perfume," Bakugo complained.
Midoriya was trying not to laugh at Bakugo's facial expression, but the door to their room opened to see Iida looking rather distraught.
"This can't be good," Midoriya thought as he put the box of macarons down.
"Iida, what's going on?" Kirishima asked him.
"It's Mr. Aizawa," Iida told them as the girls and the rest of the classmates came inside, "He tried contacting U.A., the airport and the hotel we were suppose to stay at, but..."
"But, what?" Todoroki asked, looking concerned for his friend.
There was nothing but silence as everyone waited for their Class Rep. to give them some sort of answer. A part of Midoriya didn't want to know what he was about to tell them. Whatever it was, Iida's reaction told him that it wasn't good.
"He can't find them... U.A. is gone..."
Another chapter! I really like this chapter a lot with Zoe and Chloe. I really think this chapter turned out really good! Mr. Aizawa can't find U.A.! What's going to happen next time?
More coming soon!
