"So we're going to leave?" Kim asked as they took their turn watching the werewolf early the next morning. While Sam and Dean had originally insisted on one ranger per shift, the both of them had been too tired to be any good to them on earlier shifts. Now, it left them a chance to plan what they were going to do from here. "Tommy- we can't put them in danger."

"I know," Tommy muttered as he pulled up page after page of hits for Lipretere. There was a pattern, he just couldn't see it. "I can't tell where he's going next."

"You've stared at that too long, give it here," Kim said as he started to deny her, but he then remembered how integral she had been to his doctoral thesis conclusions. She'd joked with him that she should have gotten a PhD with all the work she'd done to help him. "How are we going to get away?"

"They're good- probably better than we are at tracking things. We just have…well…some abilities we still haven't shown them," Tommy said as he flickered to being invisible and she watched him re-emerge. "We need the snow to lift though."

"He's going there next," Kim said as she pointed out a location on the map and he just shook his head. He knew she was right and he desperately wanted to get ahead of Lipretere and end this. He wanted to get her back home. "Tommy- I want to get home too, but we can't be stupid about this."

"I know and we won't be," Tommy said as they heard a howl out of the man behind them and he shifted back to his normal body. "I do wish I could study all of these beings more closely."

"You're crazy," Kim stated as he just shrugged as the man tried the chains again. "Who told you to come for us?"

"You think just because you're a pretty thing that I'll answer you?" The man growled as Kim let out a laugh and leaned in closer to him.

"Oh no- I think you'll answer him," Kim said as she took a step away and saw that the darkness had descended into Tommy. "Just don't make it obvious."

"I won't," Tommy muttered as Kim went and stood in the doorway. She didn't want the brothers to stop Tommy, at least not until they had all the information they need. She heard the man behind her scream and gave Tommy a perturbed look and he just shook his head. He hadn't even done anything yet.

"What was that?" Dean asked as he sprinted towards her and she shook her head as she steered him away. "Kim."

"Tommy is getting the information we all need. He's good at this," Kim said as Dean stared at her. Tommy didn't strike him as someone who would be good at torture. "We both are, he's just stronger."

"How? Why? When?" Dean stuttered as Kim gave him a weak smile. "No. Not on each other."

"Who do you think we went for when we were evil other than each other?" Kim asked as Dean just shook his head. It couldn't be that they had tortured each other and still cared about each other this much. "I hurt him far more than he has ever hurt me when I was evil. And yet- it took coming to this world to realize that I needed to get over it. Let him do this. He'll get us what we need."

"He doesn't know," Tommy said as he walked out of the room, wiping his hands off on the edge of his shirt and he looked around to see that everyone was gathered outside the door. "His Alpha ordered it- so they did it."

"So we can go after he Alpha," Sam said as Tommy shook his head. "Why not?"

"He never saw the Alpha. He doesn't know where he is. It doesn't matter that he told him to come after us- he's not going to get us to him," Tommy said as the Winchesters exchanged a glance. They had never heard of that before, but it seemed like it was reasonable. "There's going to be more where he came from."

"Yeah- so how do we take out Lipretere?" Dean asked as Tommy just shook his head. "We are perfectly capable…"

"You're not," Kim cut in as they all looked at her. They had gotten used to Tommy pushing back on something, they weren't really sure what to do with her. "You barely got him out of there and I was the only one that could touch the Shikigami. This is beyond your skills and your weaponry."

"Then give us weapons. You're not going in there alone," Bobby said as Kim and Tommy exchanged a glance. "This is not the time for some macho showdown."

"Our weapons won't work for you," Tommy said as he produced a blaster and then tossed it to Dean. Dean aimed it at a piece of art, pulled the trigger, and nothing happened. He banged the blaster against the wall, aimed again, and a puff of smoke came out instead of the laser he had seen over and over. "It's safest if we go this alone."

"More than werewolves are going to come after you. A lot more," Sam pushed back as Tommy looked over at Kim and she just shrugged. "Really?"

"You're not going to get hurt for us, Sam. Lipretere is our problem," Kim stated as Sam glared at her and she walked over and placed a hand on his arm. "This is our fight. It's always been our fight."

"Well too bad. Lipretere brought you to this world and we don't let people fight alone," Dean said as Kim let out a long sigh and looked over at Tommy, hoping he would be able to convince him otherwise. "How can we be your back up?"

"Hurts doesn't it?" Tommy joked as Dean just shook his head. He didn't want to admit it, but it really sucked to not have all the answers and to be dependent on two people that had barely gotten their feet under them in this world. "We'll do some training tomorrow. For tonight- we need rest."

"What about him?" Bobby asked as Tommy gave him a look. "Oh you took care of it, took care of it."

"Yeah. Don't know what you need to do with the body though," Tommy muttered as Kim rolled her eyes and he let out a sigh. "He wasn't going to heal from that and I doubt that they were going to let him live."

"He has a point," Sam said as he walked past her and peaked into the room. "We'll get him salted and burned. Last thing we need is a ghost werewolf to come back after us."

"And you two- don't even think about running," Bobby said as he moved to help the boys and he caught the look on Tommy's face. "You're the experts on Lipretere, but we're the experts on this world. Get some sleep and then we can really talk."

"Fine," Kim muttered as she turned and walked over to one of the rooms to find sleeping bags littering the floor. It wasn't as comfortable as Bobby's house, but it was better than nothing.

"How did they ditch us?" Dean asked as he returned from searching the nearby towns. Tommy and Kimberly had disappeared overnight and even with all of their tracking skills he hadn't been able to sniff them out. "They went poof."

"I mean, they're good at what they do and I doubt we really saw all of their powers," Bobby said as he motioned to Sam. "What were they searching?"

"They scrubbed their history. All I have is Tommy's angel algorithm and…huh…that's new," Sam said as he opened a program and it was then that he realized what Tommy's true genius was. "Damn he's good."

"He found Lipretere?" Bobby asked as he leaned over his shoulder and stared at the screen. "What am I looking at?"

"Not really sure, but they're not stupid. They left this program here, on purpose," Sam stated as he continued studying it, but it made no sense to him.

"Move," Dean said as he pushed Sam out of the way and Dean sat down in front of the computer. Kimberly would not have left this, but Tommy, Tommy would have. Tommy realized they would need back up even if Kimberly didn't want anyone else to get hurt. And he trusted that they were smart enough to figure out whatever it was that he had left them as a breadcrumb. "What would he expect us to look for?"

"Him? C'mon I don't think that Tommy is going to…" Bobby trailed off as he realized that Tommy would do this. Tommy would leave a path to find them in case he died and Kim needed to be rescued. He always would make sure there was a way that she could be safe. "He doesn't expect to make it this time. Why?"

"Oh shit, Lipretere…when he had him. He mentioned something about how defeating him would take a sacrifice Tommy had never been willing to give. He won't give up her, but he's never died for her either," Sam muttered as Dean let out a chuckle and they both looked at him. "What's funny?"

"Nothing- just that whatever algorithm he made- is predicting that something will be there," Dean pointed at Crescent City, California and they shook their heads. "I mean- they both wanted to get back to the west coast. I think this is the best lead we have."

"And if it's a diversion?" Bobby asked as Dean shrugged. If it was a diversion, he had learned absolutely nothing about Tommy Oliver in the time that they had been here. He was pretty sure that he had one thing right- Tommy would sacrifice anything just to keep her safe and now that included himself.
