And on top of that, the Ultra Beast took control of mother's Pokémon and unleashed them against us…she tried to defeat us!" said Lillie, remembering she and the others went through the Ultra Wormhole. "When I recognized my mother's beloved Clefable, I attempted to remind her of the days we spent together and how close we were. My pleas were successful, and happily, Clefable came back to me. But now…I need to figure out how to rescue my mother."

UB-01 created purple shards as it throws them at Solgaleo. "Solgaleo, let's move!" said Ash as it roars in agreement.

"Wah!" said Jordan, closing her eyes as Solgaleo roared again.

"No….stay away!" shouted Lusamine as UB-01 Symbiont sends a shock wave.

"Pika?" asked Pikachu.

"What's going on?" asked Ash.

"We're scared! Lucario!" said Jordan and Meeko, holding onto each other. Suddenly, UB-01 created a pool of poison, making it a barrier between Lusamine, Solgaleo and the Ketchum siblings.

"What is that?" asked Ash.

"You're asking me? How should I know?" asked Jordan as Pikachu and Meeko walked up, sniffing the poison ocean.

"Pik…Pikachu!" screeched Pikachu holding his nose.

"Lucario!" shouted Meeko.

"Yeah? It's that bad?" Ash asked Pikachu and Meeko, taking a dip with his shoe when it starts to burn. "AAH! Poison! This is really bad!"

*WHAM!*

"I wish you would take Pikachu's and Meeko's disgusted expressions into account the next time we come across this." said Jordan, with a mallet in hand. She then looks up at Solgaleo with an apologetic look. "I'm sorry you had to see that. This is what happens when you live with Ash for 8 years of your life." Jordan said to Solgaleo.

Lusamine smiled as she sighs happily that Ash hurt himself by the poison. Silvally growled in frustration as Lycanroc and Umbreon stood in fear. "Ab….sol!" bellowed Absol as it uses Razor Wind, causing Gladion to cover his eyes.

"You're strong." said Gladion. "Very strong! It must be from the Ultra Beast's power!"

"Sol!" challenged Absol.

"But don't think for a moment you've won!" said Gladion with a disk in his hand. "Mighty Beast, Silvally! Accept this Fire Memory…." He throws the disc as Silvally takes it into his body. "…and become the fiery beast that burns!"

"SILVALLY!" roared Silvally as he melts the ice around his feet.

"Absol." said a fearful Absol, stepping back.

"Use Multi-Attack!" shouted Gladion as red energy surrounded Silvally as he jumps into the air, then hits Absol in its head. Feeling relieved from Absol's Mean Look, Umbreon and Lycanroc went over to Silvally.

"You're both all right." said Gladion. "Now, Silvally, use Crush Claw!"

"Vally!" growled Silvally, as his claws glowed red, knocking a pained Absol back, causing it to use Ice Beam in retaliation.

"Umbre!" shouted Umbreon, using Dark Pulse.

"Excellent, Umbreon." Gladion praised his partner. "Silvally, use Air Slash!"

"Absol!" said Absol as dust surrounded it.

"Let's do it, Lycanroc!" said Gladion as Lycanroc growls. "The blue moon's Z-power….washes over us and the crumbling world…..and then….seals it up!"

Lycanroc howls as it and Gladion shared each other's energy. "Take this!" shouted Gladion as Lycanroc jumps into the air. "Continental Crush!"

"LYCANROC!" howled Lycanroc as it throws Continental Crush at Absol. Exhausted, Lycanroc looks up to see that Absol was knocked out.

"Well done." said Gladion. With Lana, Sophocles and Mallow, Rowlet was in bliss as it cozy up with Lilligant while Milotic and Mismagius closed in, causing the trio, the Pokémon and Rotom to back up.

"We can't attack while Rowlet's over with them!" said Rotom as Litten hisses angrily.

"Rowlet, you've got to get away from there!" shouted Mallow.

"Rotom, what should we do?" asked Lana.

"Thinking….thinking…..thinking…."

"I know." said Sophocles, coming up with an idea. "Rowlet might come back to us if Steenee emits a sweeter Sweet Scent than Lilligant does!"

"Of course! You're a genius!" exclaimed Lana.

"Let's try it!" said Mallow. "All right, Steenee, use Sweet Scent!"

"Steenee!" said Steenee, then started to use Sweet Scent on Rowlet. "Stee….nee!"

"Row…." said Rowlet, becoming alert as it smells Steenee's Sweet Scent.

"It works!" said Sophocles.

"Rowlet is responding to Steenee!" added Rotom.

"Keep it up!" said Lana.

"Come here, Rowlet!" called Mallow.

"Rowlet!" hooted Rowlet, with hearts in its eyes as it flies right over to Steenee.

"Stee?" asked Steenee, happily and became shy as she hits Rowlet. "Nee."

Flying up high in the air, Rowlet starts spinning as they gasped. Rowlet looks at Steenee and tells her to kick it. "Stee?" asked Steenee before turning to Mallow. "Stee…nee! Steenee!"

"I should lift you up?" Mallow asked, cyphering what Steenee was trying to tell her. She then picks up Steenee. "Up you go!"

Mallow lifts Steenee up into the air towards Rowlet. "Stee….nee!" shouted Steenee as she kicks Rowlet in the head. Rowlet swiftly flies towards Lilligant with an angry look on its face, hitting Lilligant and knocking it back.

"Oh, wow." said Mallow, shocked.

"Was that some new tag team move?" asked Sophocles.

"No. It was the special move, Rowlaunch." said Lana, saluting.

"That's great! Rowlaunch is the perfect name." said Mallow.

"Steenee!" said Steenee as she high-fives Rowlet.

"Data input complete." said Rotom, recording the move. Lilligant gets back up as its leaves starts to glow.

"Alert!" Rotom screeched. "It's getting ready to use Solar Beam!"

Sophocles, Mallow and Lana gasped as Lilligant continued to power up its Solar Beam when suddenly Litten ran forward. "Litten!" shouted Litten, using Fire Fang on Lilligant, knocking it back once again.

"Wow, Litten!" said Mallow.

"Amazing! You saved us!" said Lana as Litten hissed and arched its back. Milotic and Mismagius came in closer.

"This leaves me no choice." said Sophocles and held out Togedemaru. "Togedemaru, Zing Zap, let's go!"

"Toge!" shouted Togedemaru as she hits Milotic with electricity.

"'Kay, Charjabug, Discharge." said Sophocles.

"Charja!" shouted Charjabug, releasing Discharge and shocking Milotic.

"All right!" Sophocles exclaimed as Togedemaru landed in his hand.

"Quick, Popplio, let's make our move!" said Lana as both water trainer and partner made their Z-Move. "Reach out! Past the ocean's horizon….Hydro Vortex!"

"Pop….plio!" squealed Popplio as water appeared behind her and made a whirlpool around Mismagius, causing it to fall from the sky.

"Mismagius…." said Mismagius, stunned as it laid out on the ground.

"We won!" Lana exclaimed.

"We all won! All right!" said Sophocles.

"All right! Do we have the strongest team or what?" Mallow asked.

"That was some remarkable battling." commented Rotom as all the Pokémon, minus a sleeping Rowlet, praised each other. Litten was pleased when suddenly it turns around and hissed threatening.

"Hey, Litten, is something wrong?" Lana asked. Suddenly, all of Lusamine's Pokémon get back up from being beaten.

"No way! It can't be!" said Kiawe, shocked that Salazzle stood back up and sends out another round of Poison. "Dodge it!"

"But we defeated them!" said a fearful Mallow.

"Or so we thought…." said Lana.

"It's not possible." said Rotom.

"Use Stone Edge!" shouted Gladion as Absol used Razor Wind. Lycanroc howled as it punched the ground and used Stone Edge. Gladion then looks up to where Ash and Jordan are.

"Of course." he said to himself. "Unless that Ultra Beast is defeated, there will be no end to this battle! Now Umbreon and Lycanroc, take care of Absol! I'm going to my mother!" Once on Silvally's back, he takes off.

Standing in front of Lusamine and UB-01, Ash and Jordan were stranded. "They don't want us to get close to them, huh?" asked Ash.

"They'll have to at one point, Ash." said Jordan as he nodded in agreement.

"Lusamine, listen to us!" Ash called out to the woman. "Lillie and Gladion are on their way and they'll be here in no time!"

"Stay away from me!" shouted Lusamine. "I hate you! HATE YOU!"

Just then, a wave from the ocean of Poison rose up and headed towards the brother and sister. Ash quickly picks up Pikachu as Meeko jumps into Jordan's arms while Solgaleo grabs the siblings. "Pika." said Pikachu, surprised by this.

"Lucar." said Meeko.

"Solgaleo, thanks a lot." said Ash.

"We could've been hurt." said Jordan. Solgaleo then throws both of them onto its back and roared as it runs on the ocean surface.

"Stay away!" screamed Lusamine as UB-01 sends Pin Missile.

"Pika! Lucar!" said Pikachu and Meeko, scared as Solgaleo roared at UB-01.

"'Kay, let's go!" said Ash.

"You got it, Ash." said Jordan.

"Pika! Lucar!"

"Pikachu! I need you and Meeko to attack and distract the Ultra Beast." said Ash. "While you're doing that, Jordan and I will get Lillie's mom out of there!"

"Pika!" said Pikachu.

"You heard him, Meeko." said Jordan.

"Lucar!" said Meeko as she and Pikachu went to distract the Ultra Beast.

"Use Thunderbolt!" shouted Ash.

"Pika….Chu!" shouted Pikachu as he releases Thunderbolt.

"Use Bone Rush!" shouted Jordan.

"Lucario!" shouted Meeko, created her huge bone.

"Electro Ball! Aura Sphere!" shouted Ash and Jordan.

A ball of electricity appears at Pikachu's tail while Meeko releasing some aura from her paws. Both Pokémon released their attacks on UB-01, who then dodged them. Ash screamed as he attacked from above while Jordan went for one of the tentacles.

Both were then pushed away, landing on the ground. "Pika!" shouted Pikachu as he and Meeko ran over to them, worried that they were hurt.

"Cario?" Meeko asked Jordan.

"I'm okay. Now, once more." said Ash as Jordan gave Meeko as smile. "Let's go! Use Electro Ball!"

"Vacuum Wave, let's go!" shouted Jordan.

As Pikachu and Meeko readied their attacks, UB-01 used Pin Missile again. Ash and Jordan tried multiple times to get Lusamine out, but were continued to get knocked back. "Ash, I got a question for ya." said Jordan as they were once again knocked back.

"Yeah?" said Ash.

"How many more times are we going to get knocked back before one of us breaks a bone?" she asked, looking up at her brother.

"You know, your guess is as good as mine because I don't know." said Ash.

"Thought so." said Jordan, sitting up.

"Ash! Jordan!" Lillie called out from behind them as she, Gladion and Clefable arrived. "You all right?"

"It's Lillie! And Gladion!" Ash exclaimed happily.

"I'm okay….for the time being." said Jordan.

"Not them again…." said Lusamine, glowering at her children. "Hate you…."

UB-01 started its Pin Missile once again as Ash grabs Jordan when Solgaleo jumps in front of them, protectively. "Thanks, Solgaleo." said Ash.

"You're the best." added Jordan.

"Hey, Lillie, is Clefable doing all right?" Ash asked.

"It finally remember me. Clefable's just fine." said Lillie.

"Listen to me!" Gladion called out. "Unless we defeat the Ultra Beast, my mother's Pokémon will keep reviving without end! We need to hurry or the others battling will be in danger!"

"What did you say?" asked Ash. Solgaleo turns around and heads towards the Poison ocean.

"Solgaleo? You'll go and help them?" asked Ash as Solgaleo runs across. "You can do it, Solgaleo. Lycanroc! I need you and the others to go with Solgaleo."

"Roc!" said Ash's Lycanroc, understanding his order.

"You be careful, Lycanroc." Lillie said to it, who nodded. Solgaleo then invited Ash's Lycanroc and Jordan's Pokémon onto its back, then takes off to go help.

"Okay, mother. I'm coming." said Lillie, looking across the ocean of Poison.

"We're not doomed yet, right?" Jordan asked Ash.

"I hope not." he assures her, before looking over at their friend. "Lillie! It's dangerous to walk there!"

"Don't worry. I'll be fine!" said Lillie as she looks at Clefable.

"Clefable." said Clefable, smiling as it picks Lillie up.

"Clefable, take me to mother please?" Lillie asked, holding onto her cherished friend.

"Fable." replied Clefable as it walked on top of the surface.

"Wow." said Jordan.

"That's amazing." said Ash as Pikachu and Meeko became surprised.

"Its Magic Guard. It's Clefable's special ability." Lillie explained. "Poison has no effect on it at all."

"Alright, lets join them!" said Gladion with another disk in hand. "Become a beast of steel. Silvally!"

Accepting the disk, Silvally roared as it became a steel type. "When Silvally becomes a steel-type, it doesn't take any damage from the poison either." said Gladion.

"Lillie! Gladion!" said Ash as he, Jordan and Meeko ran over.

"Finally!" said Jordan, hugging Silvally who growled happily.

"I've been training with Silvally to defeat Ultra Beasts." said Gladion. "Now's the time to use your power!"

"Vall!" growled Silvally as UB-01 backs away with Lusamine still in its clutches.

Landing on some rocks, UB-01 Symbiont starts to go even higher and away from the kids. "It's doing it again." said Ash.

"You're running away?" asked Lillie.

"That's because you keep chasing me!" screamed Lusamine.

"What's it trying to do?" asked Gladion.

"Poor mother." said Lillie when she takes off.

"Wait, Lillie!" Ash called out after her.

"Stay away!" shouted Lusamine.

"Please stop running away." said Lillie as she starts to climb.

"Lillie!" shouted Gladion once he, Ash and Jordan caught up with her.

"Gladion! There's something important I need to tell mother!" Lillie said over her shoulder. "Let me handle this please!"

"Meeko and I will go after Lillie." said Jordan, handing her back over to Ash. "Lusamine might need to hear something from my point of view."

"Be careful, okay?" said Ash.

"Promise." replied Jordan, climbing after Lillie.

"As soon as we sense danger, we move." Gladion said to Ash.

"Okay…" said Ash. Lillie had reached the top and helps Jordan over the edge as spikes start to form at them.

"You know what? I hate you!" shouted Lillie. Lusamine gasps and the spikes stopped forming.

"Pika?" questioned Pikachu.

"It stopped moving." said Gladion.

"You treat me like…nothing more than a little baby!" said Lillie, walking towards her mother. "But, you're acting like a baby! A selfish, totally immature child! That's why that Ultra Beast has taken control of you."

"I get it. You don't want to face your problems, do you?" Jordan asked, causing both the Symbiont and Lusamine to look at her. "You don't want to accept that Lillie and Gladion are growing up. So does my and Ash's mom."

"Olu!" said Meeko.

"Truth is…my mom may treat me and Ash like babies, but she still loves us, no matter how old we are." said Jordan.

"Jordan's right. The way you're acting now, you're not really my mother!" said Lillie, glaring at her mother. "I know you've been researching Ultra Beasts for a very long time…but my mother? She's very strong. And what about you? You're a weak puppet and nothing more. You can't even move."

She then takes a step forward and reaches out her hand. "Mother, come out!" demanded Lillie. "If you were my mother, you'd be able to come out all by yourself! And that's my logical conclusion!"

Lusamine gasps again as color returns to her eyes. "Lil-lie…" said Lusamine, staring straight at her daughter who gasped. She then starts to reach out for Lillie's hand.

"Mother, it's you." said Lillie, smiling as Gladion gasped. Suddenly, UB-01 didn't want to part with Lusamine. Instead, it chose to surround her with purple goo.

"Mother, no!" shouted Lillie.

"Mother!" shouted Gladion.

"Looks like we're not going to be eating pudding or ice cream for a while, huh, Meeko?" Jordan asked weakly as UB-01 made itself bigger.

"Lu…cario." said Meeko, feeling a little sick to her stomach.

"Mother!" screamed Lillie as one of the tentacle eyes looked at the girls and Meeko. It was about to knock them back when Gladion and Silvally came to rescue them.

"Jordan!" said Ash as she and Meeko ran over to hug him and Pikachu.

"Oh, no…." said Lillie.

"Pika!" said Pikachu, worriedly.

"It's getting bigger." said Ash, looking at UB-01.

"It's unbelievable!" exclaimed Gladion as UB-01 surrounded itself with purple slated rocks, preventing them from rescuing Lusamine.

"Now, that's just creepy." said Jordan.

"She's completely trapped inside of it." said Ash.

"The Ultra Beast doesn't want to let my mother go." said Gladion.

"How come?" asked Ash and Jordan.

"Just like mother…wants to learn about the Ultra Beast…it wants to learn about…mother." Gladion explained, his head hanging. "Maybe it's trying to learn about people."

"If it wants to learn about people, then it shouldn't have kidnapped your mom and stayed on our side of the Ultra Wormhole." said Jordan. "Just saying."

UB-01 raised several rock shards, firing them at both sets of siblings, causing them to cry out in pain. "Pika? Lucar?" asked Pikachu and Meeko.

"Gladion? If we use our Z-Moves together, we might be able to stop the Ultra Beast." said Ash.

"But the thing is, I already used Continental Crush against Absol…." said Gladion.

"Uh-oh." said Jordan.

"I've got it!" he said, looking at Ash and Jordan. "Silvally and I will distract it while the both of you stop it in its tracks with your Z-Moves!"

"Right! Got it!" said Ash.

"You're in charge." said Jordan, saluting.

"And while we're doing that…" said Ash.

"That's when I'll rescue mother." Lillie chimed in.

"Let's do it, you three!" said Ash.

"Aye, aye Ash!" said Jordan.

"Pika! Lucar!" said Pikachu and Meeko. Just then, another round of rock shards appeared and sent towards them.

"Air Slash, now!" shouted Gladion as Silvally sends silver like crescents at the shards. "Now's your chance!"

"Okay Pikachu and Meeko! Let's give it all we got!" said Ash and Jordan.

"'Kay, show them some real power!" said Ash.

"Pika, Pika!" said Pikachu.

"Yeah!" said Jordan.

"Cario, Cario!" said Meeko. Out of nowhere, electricity came out of Ash's Z-Crystal while several fists starts to pour out of Jordan's. Power from both Z-Crystals were so big, Ash's hat flew off his head only to be caught by Pikachu.

Pikachu's tail appeared on Ash's Z-Crystal while Meeko's head appeared on Jordan's Z-Crystal. "Wow…" Jordan whispered to herself.

"That's weird. Whats that?" Ash asked, looking at both his and Jordan's.

"A new Z-Crystal?" wondered the brother and sister.

"Pika?" asked Pikachu, looking up at Ash.

"Lucar?" Meeko asked with her hand inches away from her face.

"Ash, Jordan, do it now!" shouted Gladion.

"Ash, Jordan, hurry!" shouted Lillie.

"All right, let's do it!" said Ash.

"Pika!" shouted Pikachu, placing Ash's hat on his head as he and Ash high-fived each other as both of them stretched out their right arms.

"Come on, Meeko!" Jordan said, smiling.

"Lucario!" said Meeko as she and Jordan faced each other, bringing up their fists and softly punched each other.

"Much bigger than a Thunderbolt….10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt!" shouted Ash.

"Pika!"

"We are connected in positive ways." said Jordan as she and Meeko bring their fists up towards their faces, then punched the air. "We protect not only each other, but friends and loved ones too."

"Lucari!" shouted Meeko as blue aura was being created with both hands.

"Yeah, this is much, much bigger." said Ash.

"This is bigger than both of us." said Jordan.

"At super full power!" shouted Ash and Jordan.

"Pika, Pika."

"Lucario."

"10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt NOW!" screamed Ash. Pikachu jumps into the air as thunder clouds swirled above him, generating electricity.

"Pika-Ka-Ka-Ka! PIKA-PIKA!" shouted Pikachu as a rainbow of electricity fell from the thunder cloud.

"All-Out Sacred Aura!" screamed Jordan. Behind her, every Lucario from the past appears, lending their Aura energy as Meeko builds up her own aura.

"Cari-Cari-Cari! LUCARIO!" screamed Meeko, her hands slowly curled up, then sends out even bigger punches then before, surrounding each and every one of Pikachu's electric rainbow.

Both attacks headed for Lusamine and UB-01, creating a mixed light of yellow and brown. Panting, Ash, Jordan and their Pokémon didn't notice what was going on with their Z-Crystals as the shapes disappeared. Leftover electricity static on UB-01's head as it falls to the ground, deflating a bit as Meeko's handprints were left in it.

"Mother." said Lillie as she and Gladion ran over to her. Appearing out from UB-01's head was their mother's arm, which then reaches out. "Mother, I've got you!" said Lillie, taking her mother's hand.

With the help of Gladion and Clefable, Lusamine was pulled out and away from the UB-01 Symbiont, which then hovers. "Pika?" asked Pikachu as UB-01 flies away from the scene.

"Wake up!" Lillie said to her mother, laying in her arms. "Please, mother, you've got to wake up!"

"Well, all right!" said Ash as Lusamine opens her eyes.

"Pika!" squealed Pikachu, giving back Ash's hat.

"Thanks, buddy." said Ash as Jordan and Meeko smiled.

"Salazz?" said Salazzle, as the yellowish aura surrounded her disappeared and became scared with Marowak and Turtonator standing over her.

"Hold on a second." Kiawe said to his Pokémon. "Look!"

Mallow gasps as Milotic, Mismagius and Lilligant looked around, confused by where they are. "What happened?" asked Lana as Sophocles looked up.

"It's probably Ash, Jordan and the others." said Sophocles.

"Absol?" Absol asked Umbreon.

"Umbre…" said Umbreon, butting its head with Absol.

"Can you stand, mother?" asked Gladion, helping to get to her feet.

"Yeah." said Lusamine, weakly.

"You know what?" Lillie asked. "You're a strong person, for sure! Just like I thought you were."

"It felt like I was having some sort of bad dream." said Lusamine, smiling at her daughter. "But still…your voice somehow reached me. Jordan too. Lillie."

Tears welled up in Lillie's eyes as she cried into her mother's arms. "Lillie, I'm so sorry." said Lusamine, hugging her youngest child, then her oldest. "Forgive me. Thank you, Lillie, Gladion."

"Oh we are so calling mom when we get back." said Jordan.

"Yes we are." said Ash, wrapping his arm around his little sister.

"Hey, hey Ash! Jordan!" shouted Kiawe.

"Lillie! Lillie!" said Mallow, Lana and Sophocles.

"Yeah, the moment's ruined." said Jordan, shaking her head and smiling.

"Lucar." said Meeko.

"Hey, everybody, we did it, we did it!" Ash said, waving to everyone.

"Thanks to all your help, my mother's safe." said Lillie. "Everything's going to be fine!"

"Lillie, that's just great!" said Mallow.

"Ash, Jordan, I saw a huge electrical discharge mixed in with something else." Rotom said as he floats over to the siblings. "What happened?"

"Well…." said Jordan, smiling at Meeko.

"Pikachu and I were using a new Z-Move, 10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt." said Ash.

"While Meeko and I were using All-Out Sacred Aura!" said Jordan.

"Pika, Pika!" Pikachu said in agreement.

"Lucar." said Meeko, smiling as she crossed her arm.

"10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt and All-Out Sacred Aura!" screeched Rotom. "Fascinating. I want to hear every detail."

"And you will, Rotom." said Jordan.

"We promise." said Meeko.

On the other side of the Ultra Wormhole, Professor Burnet's computer starts to get a reading. "The Ultra Wormhole is forming." said Burnet as she looks up.

"Is it them?" asked Kukui.

"Fixing space topology." she said as the Ultra Wormhole opens. "Maintaining the Ultra Wormhole's pulse!"

On the side of the Altar of the Sunne, Team Rocket and Bewear were chilling out when Jessie opens her eyes. "Do the twerps return?" asked Team Rocket, hopefully.

"Fingers crossed. Let this work…" said Burnet.

"Travel safely and soundly…" said Kukui. Just then, Solgaleo appeared with everyone on its back, landing on the Altar of the Sunne. "They're back!" Kukui exclaimed.

"It did work!" cried Burnet.

"We're back, Professors!" said Ash and Jordan.
