Watching Curly Shepard shoot his own brother in the back wasn't how Dallas Winston thought this night was gonna go. Nor did he think that he'd see Curly point a finger at him and go, "It was Dallas Winston! Dallas Winston killed my brother!" The Outsiders — by way of The Warriors.

Dallas is very sure that he doesn't deserve to still have Ponyboy Curtis still in his corner after all these years. Extra sure that Ponyboy shouldn't still love him, either. Ponyboy feels very differently about it.

In the hard weeks leading up to the trial, the Curtis brothers anxiously await their fate.

All Ponyboy wanted was to fix what he'd done...go back and stop everything before it gets out of hand. Unfortunately, he finds that a little harder than he would have thought when he's stuck reliving the same day over and over.

Pony blames himself for what happened. Mostly Pony's angst. Johnny lives.

Months after Johnny and Dally died, Ponyboy is still struggling. One night, the whole gang is there to witness Pony spiraling, but they quickly learn that he isn't the only one dealing with his feelings after losing their friends.

When Ponyboy Adams comes across a young man, who is nothing but nice to him, he never anticipates his entire life to be changed. He was raised to expect the unexpected but this is beyond anything he ever imagined. Will he be sent back to his abusive father? Will he stay with the gang? What happened in the fall of 1962 that made him leave? Can he trust these strangers?

When Dallas kisses Ponyboy there, beneath a full moon, Johnny Cade's blood freshly staining his hands and his face, he expects Ponyboy to pull away from him. Instead, Ponyboy kisses him back — and they begin their first steps together, fleeing Tulsa in the aftermath of Johnny Cade's murder.

Just a regular evening at the Curtis house. This is a stand alone story but it takes place in my Raising Ponyboy AU. It contains spanking and domestic discipline so please don't read if that offends you.
