Chapter 2: Millie meets The Giantess
After traveling for several hours, Millie and Knox reached a Mountain, which they stopped for their meal. After they finished, Millie looked beside her and saw the rest of the world below her. She even saw her hometown from up in the mountain forest.
"Our home looks so much smaller from up here, wouldn't you agree, Knox?" Millie said to her pet Corgi. "I don't know how long this journey will take, but I know for sure that I'll seek that fortune of mine some day. And when I do, everyone will see my name in light!"
But then the two friends heard an odd rumble in the distance. Millie wondered what was causing such a sound. But the rumble started getting more, and more powerful by the minute, followed by a shadow casting over the little tailor girl and her pet corgi. As Millie and Knox turned around, they soon found their answer.
What looked like a human girl, although 19 years of age and very huge! Measuring at 120 Meters (Or 394 ft.) in height. She had blue eyes, long, Sailor Venus-like black hair with a single bunhead at the upper back of her head. She wore a village outfit, which consisted of a royal blue bodice with long, Quilt Blue sleeves, a long, Ocean Blue skirt with a white apron & black low-block heeled shoes. She was the most beautiful woman ever! If anyone would ignore the fact that she's towering over even a castle. Her long black hair flowed through the wind as she strolled through the forest with a HUGE basket she was holding with her right arm, with body proportions that while aren't natural for a female human to have, looked very amazing. Not only did she look tall in body proportions as well as size, but she had the biggest boobs out of any other woman. The 'rumbling' was actually her footsteps.
Millie and Knox hid themselves from the nearest tree, hoping to stay out of sight. Could it be... a real Giant? Or in this case, a Giantess? Legends spoke of giants, although tales were mixed. But there is indeed a real Giantess. But how can a Giantess THAT big exist!? And how is she able to have such a lovely outfit and footwear that covers her toes for her massive size?
The Giantess stopped as her great BIG leather black shoe hit the ground with a massive thoom. Right next to the tree Millie & Knox are hiding at. The two peeked out to see what the Giantess was doing. They saw that she was pulling some of the bigger trees and putting them in her basket. Could she be using them for firewood? Seems very likely. But they also noticed that the Giantess was humming a song that didn't just sounded lovely, but divine as well. Though it was one Millie couldn't help but find that the humming sounded very familiar.
For the past few years, there has been a rather divine humming sound echoing even to Millie's hometown. Whatever it be in the daytime, or at night. Not to mention that some have reported feeling strange rumbles to the ground. Although they were very faint. Could the humming and rumbling that Millie heard for years be from the Giantess'?
"I never knew it was even possible for Giants like her to exist at that size. Let alone have an outfit like that." Millie said to Knox. "And for a towering Giantess, she seems to be living the same life like any other human. Still, I don't know if that means something."
"Huh? Who said that? Who's there?" The Giantess grunted in an echoey voice.
This caught Millie and Knox to be in complete shock. "WAH!?" Millie exclaimed! "She heard every word I said!? No way! How can a Giant of her size hear someone as small as me!?"
"That sounded like a human girl." The Giantess said to herself, hovering her hands over her ears to know where the voice she's hearing is coming from.
Millie realized that talking even more would only make things worse for her and Knox. Killing Seven Flies with One Blow was one thing, but taking on a nearly 400 foot tall Giantess is WAY too much. She's at least glad she and Knox are the only ones who knew about this Giantess, so they tried to sneak within the bushes so the Giantess won't hear nor see them, and so Millie can continue with her Journey.
And just as the Giantess was looking in the opposite direction, Millie and Knox saw their chance to make a break for it. But Millie was so busy trying to get away from the Giantess, she didn't notice the rock she tripped on, causing her to roll and hit a small tree, causing some birds to fly out of it.
Knox went to see if her owner was okay, which is she, but as she got up, she and her pet corgi felt the same powerful rumbles again, and just as they felt the last one threw her off balance, she got back up again, looked up and there, towering above her, was the Giantess! She stared at her, an expression of surprise and bewilderment on her perfectly shaped face.
For a few moments all three stared at each other in stunned silence. "Oh," she uttered finally. Millie, who she and Knox realized that the Giantess saw them, both bolted, running for their lives.
"Hey wait a minute...!" The Giantess said, surprised. She quickly took a couple steps toward her, each one rattling the ground like an Earthquake and throwing her off balance. Then, she apparently gave up, for the shaking stopped. However, Millie and Knox did not look behind them to confirm this after getting back up. They made it to a group of trees so the Giantess wouldn't see them.
In a few moments she heard the giantess' footfalls again, though they seemed gentler. She felt the tremors but this time they were not strong enough to throw her off balance.
"Little girl?" The Giantess called. "You can come out, I won't hurt you."
Millie stayed silent, barely breathing.
"I've never seen a human before. I assume that's what you are. I've heard stories though," she offered.
Her brow furrowed in confusion. Is the Giantess trying to have a conversation with her?
"I've always liked to believe that humans were like us, only a lot smaller. Some stories say you're uncivilized and don't even have a language, but..." She shrugged, chuckling to herself. "That's not the case. I'm a bit curious about you, but if you can't talk I probably won't get my questions answered, will I?" She laughed.
"Well, anyway. I won't bother you. You're welcome to still talk to me if you like. I still got some more trees to collect for my fire." She said. Millie can see that the Giantess was interested in her.
A moment or two passed before the giantess said, "No? Well... let me know if you and your pet are ready to come out. If you just want to... y'know... talk. I don't have all day." She said, trying to mask the disappointment in her voice.
Millie frowned, wondering if maybe this Giantess is a Gentle one? The Giantess went back to collecting more trees as she listened to the footfalls go down the forest and fade away.
At first, Millie was frightened by how the Giantess saw both her and Knox over the tales she heard about Giants being cruel. But after hearing what the Giantess said, she wondered if it was wrong to be scared of her after what she just heard. The only way to find out, is to find her and talk to her.
The Little Tailor Girl hopes that she has enough time to find her again. Because this might be her one and only chance.
