AN: just maybe two or three more chapters left and this story will be officially done and completed.
Taylor was in the middle of texting a friend when she heard a knock coming from her door. Setting her cell down as she got up and walked over to the door to answer. As soon as Taylor opened the door and noticed Haley standing outside. Taylor deeply sighs as she moved to the side and let Haley in.
" Want some coffee?" Taylor offers as she closed the door once Haley walked in.
" Yeah, thanks." Haley answered as she set her purse down and took her jacket off before she sat down on Taylor's couch. The last time Haley was here, their last conversation wasn't exactly good. So hopefully this time it will be different.
" So what brings you by?" Taylor asked as she came back into the livingroom with two cups of coffee.
" Well for two reasons actually. One Nathan and I are getting married and I would love it if you could come and I think it's time that we actually talk and see if we can try to fix this." Haley said as she took one of the coffee cups from Taylor.
" Yeah, Quinn called and mentioned that she's going to be your wedding photographer." Taylor said as she sat down and took a drink of her coffee before setting her cup down on the coffee table.
Haley nods her head as she also set her cup down." Yeah, she wasn't too happy that I chose Brooke as my maiden of honor. But she agreed to take our wedding photos." Haley exhales deeply as she looks down for a moment. " You know the last time we talked, it didn't go well."
" Yeah I know." Taylor said as she nods her in agreement.
" You really hurt me Taylor, you and David both hurt me, and it took me a long time to get pass it and move on, because I just couldn't over it and I was so mad at you. Because no matter how much you and I don't get along, I will never do something like that to you. I wouldn't even think about it."
Taylor deeply sighs as she nod her head." I know and I'm really sorry like I am truly sorry for what I did to you, because the last thing I ever wanted to do is hurt you Hales. Your my baby sister."
" You know at first I didn't want to come over and have this conversation, like for real I really didn't. But Both mom and Quinn kept telling me that if we didn't have this conversation, that I would never truly get past it and I'm gonna end up hating you for the rest of our lives, and they're probably right."
" Yeah you know how mom and Quinn can be. They always have to put their two cents in. So, do you think that you would ever forgive me and officially get past it?"
Haley exhales deeply as she nods her head." Part of me really don't want to, but I think I can forgive you. I can never forget what you and David did. But I can get past it or at least try to. As long as you don't try to make a move on Nathan." She said seriously.
" Don't worry Nathan's safe, besides I'm already seeing someone new." Taylor said as she picked up her cup and took another drink of her coffee that was still warm.
" Oh really? Since when?" Haley asked as she was surprised that Taylor is actually seeing someone new.
" Since New Years Eve. I went to this New Years Eve party with a few friends and I met I guy there. We exchanged numbers, went on a few dates and we been seeing each other ever since." Taylor said as she shrugs her shoulders a little.
" Wow, is he someone I know?" Haley asked wondering.
Taylor shook her head as she set her coffee cup back down." I don't think so. His name is Felix and he's from California."
" Well you definitely should bring him to the wedding."
Taylor snorts as she shook her head again." Yeah, I don't think so."
" Well, just think about it. I'm sure the whole family would love to meet him. I should get home soon." Haley said as she stood up and grabbed her jacket and her purse." I will call you later Tay." She said as she walked out of Taylor's house and closed the door behind her.
" So, how did it go between you and Taylor?"
Haley shrugs her shoulders a little." It went surprisingly well actually. I told her that I can forgive her and try to get past it, but I could never forget though." She said as she took a sip of her wine as she leans back against Nathan's chest.
" Mmm, does that mean Taylor is actually coming to the wedding?"
" Yeah and she's thinking of bringing a date to the wedding."
" Really?"
" Well I sorta suggested that she invites the guy she's seeing and she said that she'll think about it."
Nathan couldn't help but snort a little." Of course you did, so does this mean that everything is good between you guys?"
Haley nods her head." For now, I mean as long as she actually keeps her hands off you. Me and her will be good." She said as she looks up at him as she placed her hand against his face." I love you." She said softly.
Nathan leans down as he kisses her lips deeply and passionately as he gently place his hand against her face as he gently stroke her cheek with her thumb."I love you too."
" Have you talked to your dad yet?" Haley asked as she remembered that Nathan mentioned about talking to Dan soon.
Nathan blew out a breath as he shook his head." I tried calling his office to just see if he was in. But his assistant said he went out of town for a few days. So I will just talk to him when he gets back." Nathan would rather not talk to Dan and tell him about his engagement to Haley. But he's going have to.
" Maybe you should invite him to the wedding."
" Are you serious? Why would I do that?"
" He's your dad Nate and I completely understand why you two don't really get along. But I think you deserve to have your dad there too. He should see his son get married."
" Did you have this conversation with Lucas? considering he and Peyton are getting married before us?"
Haley snorts with a small laugh." I'm pretty sure Peyton is having this conversation with him or at least trying to." Haley knows Lucas better than anyone and when it comes to Dan, Lucas completely shuts down or he just doesn't want to talk about it and Haley completely understands why.
" I would be really surprised if Dan actually comes to Lucas' wedding, but I honestly don't see Lucas agreeing to it."
Haley nods her head as she set her glass down and stood up as she reached out and grabs his and she pulls him off the couch. Pulling him closer as she leans up and kisses him passionately and deeply as she wrapped her arms around his neck." Take me to bed, husband." She said as she smirks against his lips.
Nathan chuckles softly as he placed both hands against her face as he kisses her more deeply and passionately as he smirks against her lips as he love the sound of her calling him husband. In a few months Nathan is going to marry this woman and he can't wait to officially make Haley his wife.
