Five-year-old Luna woke up from a terrible nightmare where she was nearly eaten by a shark. She breathed heavily, gently placing hand on her head to make sure she was still alive. Outside her bedroom window she could hear a thunderstorm. That didn't exactly help to make her feel easy.
She looked to her right and saw a panda plushy that had had red markings around its eyes that made it resemble one of the band members from SMOOCH. She grabbed the panda and held it right against her chest. Her big brother Lincoln had given her that panda as a birthday gift nearly three years before. That thought suddenly gave her an idea.
Still holding the panda, she quietly made her way down from the top bunk she slept in. She didn't want to want to wake up her sister Luan, her roommate. But she did afford herself a glance at the six-year-old. She was sleeping ever so peacefully with her rabbit Gary and the family hamster Geno curled up together on her stomach.
Reaching the carpeted floor, Luna silently headed out of her room, with each sound of thunder she gripped her panda ever tighter against her chest until she came to Lincoln's room. She opened the door and walked over to his bed. She saw her older brother sleeping with his stuffed bunny, Bun-Bun tucked under his arm. Eleven years old and still finding solace in a stuffed animal. Some things never change. Luna grabbed the arm closest to her and shook her brother.
"Linky, please wake up," she begged. The eleven-year-old suddenly found himself wide awake and looking to his right he saw the reason his slumber was disturbed.
"Luna?" he asked groggily.
"I had a really bad dream; can I stay with you?" she asked. Lincoln looked at his five-year-old sister. She was tough, for a five-year-old. But he looked into her eyes, and saw the eyes of a frightened little girl who needed her big brother. He remembered how when she was born, she had formed a very special bond with him and Lily, the oldest sibling. That was why their parents had made the two of them Luna's guardians. This was one of those moments where he needed to be Luna's guardian.
"Alright, you can spend the night with me," he said, moving so Luna could get in. She tucked herself under Lincoln's covers, keeping one arm on her panda. Lincoln looked at the SMOOCH panda that he had given her, and suddenly had an idea.
"Hey look at this Bun-Bun, we've got company," he told his rabbit, and made Bun-Bun wave at Luna and the panda. Luna smiled and made the panda return the gesture. She looked up at her brother.
"It was a really bad dream. I dreamt we were all at the beach and a group of sharks were closing in on me. One of them nearly ate me," she said.
"Well don't worry, as long as I'm here, I won't let anything hurt you, that's my job as your brother, and your guardian," Lincoln replied kindly as he put an arm around his little sister, just to let her know that he was going to be right there, to protect her.
"Will you sing for me?" she asked.
"I could try, but let's face it, between the two of us, you're the better singer. Mom and Dad got you that little guitar for Christmas, and you've been strumming on it regularly, and singing all your favorite songs," he answered.
"Lily's been teaching me how to sing," replied Luna.
"I bet she has, she's also enjoyed singing lullabies to all of us. When you started singing at the age of two, she was overjoyed to have a fellow musician in the family. Dad's cowbell never caught on with her," said Lincoln. He often found telling stories to his younger siblings made them feel better when they were scared. Suddenly, an extremely loud bolt of lightning could be heard right outside Lincoln's bedroom window, and the two of them heard a rapid fluttering of feet and into Lincoln's room rushed four-year-old Leni wearing her light green pajamas with cats on them. She jumped onto Lincoln's bed making her older siblings laugh.
"You too Leni? Well alright, I just hope nobody else decides to get scared and come in. My room isn't exactly designed for a slumber party," laughed Lincoln, as he helped the little one under his covers. Leni then wrapped her arms around her brother and looking at him and Luna wordlessly, her eyes seemed to say 'thank you,' as they fluttered closed. Lincoln wrapped his left arm around Leni, never letting go of Bun-Bun. He watched Luna fall back to sleep with a smile. The last thought that passed through his head before giving back into the sweet embrace of sleep was: "I really hope Leni doesn't wet my bed."
It was late at night with almost everyone sleeping in the lab, except for Ash and Chloe. At the beginning of the day Chloe was visibly distraught by the amount of homework she has to do and in need to submit tomorrow. Yesterday Ash and Gou had dragged her to galar for another session of fossil digging and the two caught new pokemon as well.
Chloe couldn't to do her homework because of it and Ash feeling guilty volunteered to help. Chloe was hesitant at spending a night with him alone at the library, but relented as she had no choice.
Currently they were doing her essay for Dragon type pokemon. Ash would point out facts about them and helped with describing while she wrote vigorously with her handwriting. He rather write for her, but he knew his own handwriting looks like it's from a five year old so that can't happen.
Gou was not concerned in the least and instead collapsed in his bunk and slept peacefully. She did no such thing. Chloe looked up with wide crazed eyes and peered at the boy.
"How many dragon types are there?! That's such a stupid question if this was in a pop quiz, no one would be able to answer it! We're in kanto, there is only 1 species of dragon type in here!" She exclaimed. "Like seriously? Wh-"
"73." Ash cut her off.
"73?" Chloe startled, repeated on instinct
"73. They are 73 dragon types discovered currently." Chloe blinked vigorously before writing what the boy said.
"How did you know that?" Chloe dropped her pen on purpose for dramatic effect before inching to him from across the table. Ash silently gulped and blushed at the short distance she left. She didn't seem to notice, thank arceus.
"I-i went to a-a pokemon high school last year." He really tried not to stutter there. If Brock was here he would laughing at him.
"Really?" Chloe sat back down. Ash took a deep breath, damm it seems like every interaction he has with her just takes his breath away. Why is that?
"Really, plus i have a dragon type specialist friend that won't stop talking about it." Ash smirked.
"Lucky you," Chloe muttered. Ash pretended not to hear and instead started petting pikachu who was sleeping. "How about you entertain me by telling why you were in school."
Ash smiled and started talking animately. Chloe tried to listen she really did, but as he continued to smile she just stared at him. She is never going to say this out loud, but he looks cute happy. As much of a moron he is he's quite handsome. Auburn eyes that somehow always sparkles, messy hair that he claimed to do on purpose, and probably her favorite, plum lips that look irresistibly soft.
She put her hand against her cheek and just stared dreamly. Ash stopped talking when he finally looked her way and noticed her head in her folded arms, eyes closed. He chuckled and stood up silently to get a blanket. He draped it over her shoulder gently. He know if he picks her up and takes her to her room she'll wake up and he wouldn't dare disrupt her peacefulness
He pushed pikachu beside her head so she wouldn't be alone. He smiled at the adorable smile resting on her lips. He brushed his lips in her cheek, her smiling widening. The unfamiliar action shocking him, he took a step back before he panicked. He flicked the light switch and ran back to his room. No doubt his dreams would be invaded by the marron haired girl.
Unknown to him, the girl opened her eyes. She only rested her head and wanted to listen to his voice. Apparently he thought she was asleep. As if she would be able to sleep at such an uncomfortable position. "That moron," Her hand brushed to the cheek he kissed, "and sweet."
She stood up and quitely as to not disturb the sleeping pikachu before gently picking him up and carried him to her room. The blanket still on her shoulders as she gracefully balanced it. No doubt her dream would have that sweet moron in it.
We see Lincoln walking home from school. Suddenly, stella appears.
stella: "Hey, Lame-o."
Lincoln: "Hey, stella. So, we're still going to Gus' Games and Grub today?"
stella: "You bet. I can't wait to beat you at Dance Battle again."
Lincoln: "Oh, you are so on."
Suddenly, Lincoln's phone rings. He looks at his phone to see it's his mother calling him. He answers it.
Lincoln: "Hi, Mom."
Rita (through the phone): Hi, sweetie. Listen, I need you to come home as soon as possible and watch over Lily. I'm heading back to work soon."
Lincoln: "Wait? Where's everyone else?"
Rita: "Lori is with Bobby, Leni is at the mall with her friends, Luna is having a jam session with her friend Tabby, Luan is at a birthday party, Lynn is at soccer practice, Lucy is reciting poetry with her friends, Lola and Lana are visiting Pop-Pop, and Lisa is at a presentation showing one of her inventions. And of course, you're dad is still at work. That leaves you with Lily."
Lincoln: "Oh. Okay then."
Rita: "I'm sorry, sweetie. I know you and stella were gonna hang out today."
Lincoln: "Oh, it's fine. I just need to break it to her."
Lincoln turns his attention to stella.
Lincoln: "Sorry, stella. I have to Babysit Lily. Guess we'll have to hang out another time."
stella: "It's cool, I understand. Family comes first."
Lincoln: "Alright, mom. I'm on my way home now."
Rita: "Okay, see you soon."
Lincoln: "Bye."
Lincoln hangs up.
Lincoln: "Well, better get going. See you, stella."
Lincoln begins to head home.
stella: "Wait."
Lincoln stops.
Lincoln: "Huh?"
stella: "I can help you babysit Lily if you want."
Lincoln: "Really? You want to babysit Lily with me?"
stella: "Yeah. Even if we can't go to Gus' Games n' Grub, this would still be a good way to spend time together. Plus, I want to get to know Lily a little more."
Lincoln: "Hmm. Okay. I guess it couldn't hurt."
The two walk to the Loud House together. They arrive at said house and walk inside. They see Rita standing by the stairs with Lily in her arms.
Lincoln: "Hi, mom."
stella: "Hi, Mrs. Loud."
Rita: "Hello, stella. What brings you here?"
Lincoln: "stella offered to help me babysit Lily. Is that alright with you?"
Rita: "Oh, absolutely. I don't mind at all. Now Lincoln. You know what you need to do, right?"
Lincoln: "Of course, mom."
Rita: "Alright." (to Lily) "I love you my little angel."
Rita kisses Lily on her forehead and hands her to Lincoln.
Rita: "Alright, You're father and I will be back with your sisters at 5:00. stella, are you sure you can handle this?
stella: "No problem Mrs. Loud. I'll make sure Lincoln won't burn down the house.."
Lincoln: "Hey!"
stella: (chuckles) "I'm kidding. But seriously, Lily is in good hands."
Rita: "Alright then. Be safe, kids. Bye."
Lincoln: "See you later, mom."
Rita leaves the house. Now Lincoln and Ronne Anne are alone with Lily. Lincoln looks at Lily.
Lincoln: "Hey, Lily. Guess who's gonna spend time with us. It's stella."
Lincoln hands Lily to stella, who has a smile on her face.
stella: "Hey, Lily. How's my favorite baby?"
Lily: "Onnie!"
stella: "Yes, Ronnie. That's me. You, me, and Lincoln. We're gonna have lots of fun together."
Lily giggles. Just then, Lily's stomach growls.
Lincoln: "Sounds like someone's hungry."
stella: "Let's fix her a snack."
Lincoln: "All right. To the kitchen!"
They head to the kitchen. While stella sets Lily in the highchair, Lincoln looks through the cabinets to find something for Lily to eat.
Lincoln: "Ah, here's something."
Lincoln takes out some baby food. It's mashed peas.
stella: "Hey, can I try feeding her?"
Lincoln: "Sure, go ahead.
Lincoln give stella the baby food and a spoon. She takes a spoonful of the food and brings it to Lily's face.
stella: "Alright, Lily. Open wide."
stella moves the spoon close to Lily while making airplane sounds. Lincoln couldn't help but giggle. Lily takes the baby food in her mouth. She immediately spits it out and it gets on stella's face.
Lily: "Icky!"
Lincoln starts to laugh. Ronnia Anne looks at him.
stella: "What are you laughing at, Lame-o?
Lincoln: "Okay. That's 'no' to peas. Let's see what else there is?"
Lincoln looks again and takes out mashed bananas
Lincoln: "Okay, Lily has to like this."
Lincoln brings the food to Lily.
Lincoln: "Come on, Lily. Open up."
Lily: "No!"
Lincoln: "Come on Lily. It's banana flavored. Bananas are good, and taste way better than peas. We'll show you."
stella: "What?"
Lincoln: (whispers) "Come on. We have to show Lily that this tastes good."
stella: "Oh. Okay."
Lincoln and stella both take a spoonful of the food and eat it.
Lincoln: "Mmm, this taste good, right stella?"
stella: "Yeah, it's... not bad actually. You're missing out, Lily."
stella take another spoon of it and brings it to Lily, who just turns her head away.
stella: "Come on, Lily. This tastes good and is good for you. Would I lie to you?"
Lily looks at stella, who has a trusting smile on her face.
stella: "You can trust me."
Lily finally accepts and eats the food. As they hoped, she like it, and starts eating it.
stella: "See? Told you, didn't I?"
Lily: "Yummy!"
Lincoln: "Wow. Great job. I'm impressed."
stella: "Thanks."
A couple minutes later, Lily is finished eating and she burps. This catches their attention and they notice Lily is a little messy.
Lincoln: "Lily, you got food all over you."
stella: "Let's clean you up."
stella takes a rag, wets it, and wipes the food off of her. Lincoln takes the rag and rinses to food of and wipes Lily himself. Lily is now all cleaned up.
Lincoln: "There. All better."
stella: "So, what should we do next?"
Lincoln: "Hmm. How about we go to the park? Lily loves the park."
stella: "Sounds good to me."
Lily: "Poo-poo!"
Just then, they smell a bad odor.
Lincoln: "We should change her diaper first."
stella: "Agreed."
After Lincoln and stella change Lily's diaper, the three of them head to the park. Lincoln is pushing Lily in her carriage, and stella walks beside him. They arrive at the park. Lincoln picks up Lily, who's holding her favorite blanket.
stella: "Well, we're here. What should we do?"
Lincoln: "We should build sand castles at the sand box. Would you like that, Lily?"
Lily just babbles happily.
stella: "Sounds like a yes to me. Hey, I bet I can build a better sand castle than you, Lincoln."
Lincoln: "Oh, a challenge, huh? Alright then. What do you say Lily?
Lily nods.
stella: "Alright then. Let's get started."
A few minutes later, stella is putting the finishing touches on her castle.
stella: " I'm finished with mine. Let's see yours."
Lincoln: "Check out what Lily and I made."
Lincoln and Lily made a better looking castle
stella: "Whoa. I definitely can't beat that. Alright, you win."
Lily cheers
Lincoln: "Your castle is not bad though. It looks nice."
stella: "Heh. Thanks"
Lincoln: "So what do you want to do next, Lily?"
For a while, Lincoln and stella play with Lily at the park. Lincoln lightly pushes Lily on the baby swing, stella goes down the slide with her, then we see the play hide and Seek. Lincoln and Lily are hiding, while stella is seeking them.
stella: "Alright you two. I know you're around here somewhere.
Just then she hears giggling from the nearest tree.
Lincoln: (whispers) "Shhh. You'll give us away, Lily."
stella smirks and walk towards the tree
stella: (playfully) "Gee. I wonder where they could possibly be. Behind this tree perhaps?"
Just then, Lily jumps out.
Lily: "Boo!"
stella: "Gotcha!"
stella picks up Lily and they both start laughing. Lincoln come from behind the tree.
Lincoln: "Silly Lily. You let stella find you."
All three of them start laughing. After a few seconds of laughter Lily begins to yawn.
stella: "Awww. Looks like she's all tuckered out."
Lincoln: "Yeah, we should head back."
The two walk over to the carriage and put Lily in it, just before they leave, Lily begins crying.
Lincoln: "What the? Lily, what's wrong?"
Lily: "Blanky!"
stella: "What?"
Lincoln: "Lily's blanket is missing!"
stella: "Her blanket? You mean that lavender blanket she had with her when we brought her here?"
Lincoln: "Yes, that one. That Blanket means everything to her."
stella: "We have to find it, then!"
Lincoln: "Alright, let's start looking."
Lincoln and stella begin searching all over the park for Lily's blanket. They've search for 10 minutes.
Lincoln: "Any luck?"
stella: "No. You?"
Lincoln: "Uh-uh. Where the heck could it be?"
Lily: "Blanky!"
stella: "Huh? You see it Lily? Where?"
Lily points over to the sand box, where there is a toddler playing with a lavender blanket.
Lincoln: "That little boy over there has it!"
stella: "Wait, how do you know that's Lily's"
Lincoln: "Mom imprinted Lily's name on it in case it ever ends up lost."
stella: "Wow. That was smart of her. Let's check it out."
The three walk over the little boy. They look at the blanket and it has Lily's name on it, imprinted in blue. Lincoln approaches the little boy with a smile.
Lincoln: "Hey, little guy. That blanket right you have there belongs to my little sister here. Can you please give it back?"
Toddler: "Mine!"
stella: "Listen. It's not right to take things that isn't yours, okay? So please give it back?"
Toddler: "Mine!"
Lily is angered and approaches the little boy. She babble at him, and then starts pulling her blanket, but he stars pulling too. After a few seconds of tug of war, the little boy wins and pushes Lily back, causing her to fall. Lily begins to cry again. Lincoln and Ronne Anne are angered by this.
stella: "Hey! That wasn't very nice!"
The little boy runs
Lincoln: "He's getting away!"
stella: "I'll go after him! Hold on there, Lily. I'll get your blanket back."
stella gives chase, nut after half a minute she lose him. The little boy appears from behind a bush. When he tries to leave, the blanket is stuck on the bush. He tries to pull the blanket of it rips almost in half.
Lincoln: "There he is!"
Lincoln and stella walk towards him. The notice the blanket I ripped and glair at him. Just then, a women in a green dress appears.
Woman: "What is going on here?"
Lincoln: " Uh, ma'am, is this your son?"
Woman: "Yes."
Lincoln: "Your son took my little sister's blanket when she wasn't looking. We asked him nicely to give it back, but kept refusing. When Lily tried to take it back, he pushed her down and ran away."
The woman was shocked by what she heard. She looks at her son with a angry look
Woman: "Mitchel, that is no way to behave! When we get home, you are in for a time out!"
Mitchel just crossed his arms with an angry look on his face.
Woman: "I am so sorry my son gave you so much trouble."
stella: "It's alright ma'am."
The woman leave with her son. stella picks up Lily's torn blanket. Lily notices the damage on it and begins to cry once again. stella walks over to Lily and comforts her.
stella: "Shhh, it's okay, Lily. Don't cry. When we get home, I'll have your blanket fixed up in no time.
Lily smiles at what stella just said.
Lincoln: "Wait, you know how to sew?"
stella: "Yeah, my mom taught me not too long ago."
Lincoln: "Alright then. Let's head back to my house."
Lincoln puts Lily in the carriage and the three head back to the Loud House together. The three arrive back at the house and went inside.
stella: "Is there any sewing equipment here?"
Lincoln: "Well, Leni has some in her and Lori's room. Lori doesn't like anyone beside her and Leni going in their room, but since this is for Lily, I'll make an exception."
stella: "What about Leni? Do you think she'll mind?"
Lincoln: "Leni would've fixed Lily's blanket herself if she were here. I'm sure she wouldn't mind. I'll go get the sewing equipment right now."
Lincoln sets Lily on the couch, walks upstairs and goes into Lori and Leni's room. He finds a sewing needle and lavender thread. He brings the thread and needle to stella. stella walks into the dining room. She threads the needle and begins sewing the torn blanket, while Lincoln sits on the couch with Lily. After a while, stella was finished. She's walks over to Lily.
stella: (in a sing-song voice) "Oh Lily?"
Lily looks at stella. stella pulls out Lily's blanket, which looks good as new.
stella: "Ta-da!"
Lincoln: "Look at that. stella fixed your blanket, Lily."
Lily cheers happily as stella hands her the blanket. Lily hugs the blanket. She then moves move to stella and hugs her.
Lily: "Thank you, Onnie."
stella returns the hug.
stella: "Anytime, Lily."
Lincoln, moved by what's going on, moves over to them and hugs them. This lasts for a few seconds. They hear the door knob move and the door opens, right before they broke apart from the hug. Rita, Lynn Sr., and the remaining Loud sisters enter the house.
Lynn Sr.: "We're home!"
Lincoln: "Hey guys."
stella: "Hey."
Sisters: "Hi, stella!"
Lynn: "What are you doing here?"
stella: "Oh, I was helping Lincoln watch over Lily."
Leni: "You were? How sweet of you."
Rita: "How was everything? Did Lily give you a hard time?"
Lincoln: "No mom, not at all. Everything was good. We went to the park for a while and had a lot of fun. Right Lily?"
Lily doesn't respond.
Lincoln: "Lily?"
Lincoln notices that Lily fell asleep in stella's arms. Everyone else smiles at this.
Sisters: "Awwwwww."
Lincoln: "Let's bring Lily to her crib."
stella: "Sure thing."
stella carries Lily upstairs and Lincoln follows. They go inside Lisa and Lily's room. stella puts Lily in her bed, covers her with her blanket and kisses her forehead.
stella: "Sleep well, you cute little angel."
Lincoln and stella exit the room and close the door. Lincoln looks at stella with a smile.
Lincoln: "You were awesome today."
stella: "Thanks. I had fun babysitting her with you. If you ever babysit again, let me know."
Lincoln: "Sure thing. Lily really likes you. If your mom ever has another baby, and I'm not trying to jinx it, you'd be an awesome big sister."
stella: "You really think so?"
Lincoln: "I know so."
stella: "Lincoln. That's the nicest thing you've said to me yet. Please don't tell anyone at school about this."
Lincoln takes stella's hands
Lincoln: "Don't worry. I won't."
The two stare at each other for a few seconds. They begin to lean closer to each other with their eyes closed and lips puckered. Just as their faces are centimeters away from each other, they are interrupted.
Sisters: "Awwww!"
Lincoln and stella stop and turn their heads to see the nine sisters with wide smiles on their faces.
Lori: "Oh, don't mind us."
Lincoln and stella blush in embarrassment and break apart from each other.
stella: "Uhh... I better head home. See ya, Lame-o."
Lincoln: "Uh, okay. See ya, stella."
stella: "See ya, girls."
Sisters: "Bye, stella!"
stella walks downstairs, leaving Lincoln with his nine sisters. Lincoln looks at his sisters nervously.
Lincoln: "It wasn't what it looked like, I swear! We were just-"
Leni: "Oh, Lincoln. You and stella are so cute together!"
Luna: "Yeah, bro. Seeing you two with Lily when we came in? You looked like a married couple."
Lincoln's blushes harder.
Lincoln: "Married?!"
Lori: "You know Lincoln, this is good practice for when you and stella have kids."
Lincoln: "Kids?!"
Lola: "How many kids do you want to have?"
Lana: "Are you gonna have as many kids as mom and dad?"
Lincoln: "Whoa! Slow down! It is way too early to be talking about that. I'm still a kid myself."
Luan: "Oh come on. We're just kidding around."
The girls being laughing with Lincoln still blushing in embarassment. Lynn Sr. walks towards them.
Lynn Sr.: "Come on girls, leave Lincoln alone."
Lynn: "Okay, dad. We'll stop."
The girls head to their rooms
Lincoln: "Thanks dad."
Lynn Sr.: "No problem, kiddo."
Downstairs, we see stella heading to the front door.
Rita: "stella?"
stella turns to see Rita looking at her with a smile
stella: "Yes, Mrs. Loud"
Rita: "Thank you so much for helping Lincoln watch over Lily."
stella: "It was no problem. I had fun watching her with Lincoln."
Rita: "I'm glad you had fun. Tell, your mom and brother I said 'hi'."
stella: "Sure thing."
stella leaves the house. Later, she arrives at her home. When she opens the door, she sees Bobby with a wide smile on his face.
stella: "Uh, hey Bobby."
Bobby: "Lori told me, that you were helping Lincoln babysit Lily. How was it? Tell me everything.
Get Ready for College
Today marks a new beginning for a certain pink headed female. She grabs a large black suitcase and sets it on top of her bed before walking back in her closet. This time she takes down some of the shirts and blouses that are hanging from her closet and tosses them on the bed right besides the opened suitcase. One article of clothing at a time, the light brown skin woman folded and packs them all of them in the suitcase. She walks back in the closet and grabs a few jeans and a couple of skirts.
"I should really get rid of these clothes," she said to herself. "Who am I to start my first day in college wearing the same stuff from high school?" Just as the female continue packing clothes in her suitcase, there was a few taps coming from her bedroom window. stella walked up to see the only person she knew who would actually somehow climb up to a two-story window and amazingly without having everyone else in the entire neighborhood to noticed.
"Lincoln?" stella looked out the window to find her blue haired boyfriend sitting on the side of her bedroom window. The Caucasian male just waved and wink at his girlfriend. stella opened her window to let her reckless boyfriend inside her room.
"Get in here boy," stella snapped. Lincoln crawled through the window and ending up falling on the floor. "Lincoln, have you forgotten this is how you broke your leg the last time?"
"Yeah but its more fun," Lincoln responded.
"Climbing up to a two story window like a damn chimpanzee if your definition of fun?"
"Yeah. Plus it helps me stay in shape.
" and so does eating more healthy and working out."
"That's boring." Lincoln soon pull himself together and stands up in front of his girlfriend. "So I see you're getting yourself packed." After cleaning out her closet, stella closed it up and turn her attention to her drawers. She pulls out a handful of socks, T-shirts, and underwear and placed them in the free spots of her second suitcase.
"Uh-Huh," stella responded while grabbing a guitar case from under her bed. Before their high school graduation, stella and Lincoln were both offered full music scholarships to The Big Bubble City University of the Arts. Both of them are about to start college in a week and are moving into college apartments that are closed to their new college. It will be their first semester as a college student. But they wasn't the only ones.
Their childhood friend Deema will be attending the university on a music scholarship as well. She and stella will be sharing an apartment together and they both agree to each pay half on the rent. Lincoln, on the other hand, would be sharing an apartment with three guys he met in high school.
stella walks over to her Fender Paramount acoustic guitar and places it inside the guitar case. To past the time, Lincoln, being Lincoln, starts snooping through his girlfriend's suitcase and pulls out a white T-shirt and a pair of underwear that are as pink as stella's hair.
"Lincoln," stella called out seeing her boyfriend her underwear. "Why do you have my underwear?" But it seems that the blue headed pervert wasn't paying attention. Instead a wide grin was planted on his face that was followed by a chuckle.
"Please wear this tonight," he laughed.
The girlfriend just scuffed and snaches the clothes out of his hand. "Give me my clothes," she responded tossing them back in the suitcase and zipping them up. "Shouldn't you be packing yourself?"
"I'm already packed and ready. I just came here to see if you're ready."
"Well I would have been done by now if you haven't show up." stella was finally finished putting stuff in her suitcases. She zips both of them up and placed them at the front of her bedroom door along with her guitar. Lincoln just smiled and walk over to his girl. He takes her by surprise and grabs her hand.
"Listen, I really came here to tell you that once we finished moving into our apartments..." Lincoln starts off. "...I want to treat you with something special tonight."
"Really?"
"Yep. A lovely dinner just you and me and nobody else." stella was a little suspicious about this. Knowing Lincoln, there was always a catch since he's never the romantic type of guy. Even though she was smiling, she had to raise an eyebrow and was waiting for some kind of catch.
"Okay what did you do now?"
"Nothing."
"Cause you're not usually a romantic guy."
"Listen, I know i can be a handful and you're right. I'm not into this whole romantic thing, but I really do love you and this is my way of letting you know that I will always have your back." All the doubts and second thoughts stella had about this dinner date were gone. This was the sweetest thing she has ever heard from her Lincoln so far. This was also Lincoln's way of giving stella his heart. They have been friends forever and were both too timid to want to make the first move, but eventually they broke and confess their feelings to one another and start dating right out the back.
"I love you Lincoln," stella responded hugging Lincoln.
"I love you more." The young couple gazzed in each other's eyes and lean their heads closer until their lips were touching. Two minutes later, stella took off her baige shirt and blue jean shorts to exposed her blue wavy bra and bright white panties. The sight of her half naked body prompt the boyfriend to start stripping himself. He unbuttoned his purple checkered shirt and pull down his dark black pants, leaving him in only a white tank top and boxers.
Now half naked, stella lead Lincoln to the bed and pushes him on top of it before crawling on top of him and continued the lip locking. The kiss got even more heated when they added their tongues in each other's mouths. Moans were escaping from their mouths as well as their own saliva. The young lady lifted up Lincoln's tank top and traced her head down to his chest. The male melted on the bed as his girl's soft, strawberry lip balm covered lips were tracing all over on his chest. The girlfriend soon heard the horny male moan.
"You like that Lincoln?" She giggled. Lincoln's nod was all stella needed to let her know she was pleasing him. But she wanted to be pleased too. She threw herself off of Lincoln and laid on her back.
"Hey what's up?" The male asked.
"I want to be pleased too," she responded pulling on his tank top. He landed on top of his girlfriend and resume the French kissing before tracing his lips down to her neck. Seconds later, Lincoln begin biting on her chest, resulting in stella moaning and pulling on his tank top. She was feeling so to the point that she wanted to rip off her panties to allow her man to have his way with her body. Lincoln work his way back up and kisses stella on the lips again. His hands were roaming all over her smooth exposed skin.
KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!
"stella, are you still in there?"
stella stopped kissing her boyfriend once she heard the knocks that was a voice that was coming from her young sister. "Oh shit," she whispered. "That's Mia." She pushed Lincoln off her body and quickly grabbed her clothes from the floor. "Uhhh...hold on Mia," she yelled at the door. "Give me a minute."
Lincoln hopped off the bed and gathered his clothes together. As he was putting his pants on, he stumbled on one of the bed legs and fell forward, bumping his head against the wooded dresser with such force. The noise was hard to miss, even if you wasn't in the room.
KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!
"What was that?" Mia asked still on the other side of the door. Now fully dressed, stella pushed Lincoln out through the window the same way he got in. "Lincoln, you have to go," she whispered. During their little moment, she forgot that Mia and her parents was still inside the house. The still half naked male went through the window and have to wait for Mia to leave, otherwise risk the chance of her parents finding out about them.
Playing like nothing had ever happened, the older sister rushed to her bedroom door. "Morning Mia," she said answering the door.
"Morning big sis," Mia responded back. As the young sister walks in her room, her casual good morning smile (as Mia likes to call it) slowly faded away. As she sat on the bed, the high schooler looks around the room and sees nothing more but pink walls. Everything was taking down from the clothes in the now empty walk-in closet, to all the pictures and posters that would usually be hanging up on the walls. Another thing Mia noticed that was down was her sister's white Yamaha keyboard that would usually be seen across from the door. If someone would walk in the room, the keyboard would be the first thing that person to see. But now it was placed by the door along with two suitcases and guitar case.
On top of the bed was two tone blue wavy comfort that was folded on the edge of the bed. "Mia," stella called out. "Are you okay?"
Mia didn't say anything and sat down on the bed, but stella can tell something was wrong. "Its just...," Mia sighed. "...do you really have to move up to Big Bubble City?"
"I told you already Mia. Its a full scholarship. You'll understand when you learn more about college."
"I still can't believe you're really leaving." stella sat right next to Mia and wrap an arm around her. "This house won't be the same without you."
"You're making it seems like I'm dying."
"Can't you just attend Bubbletucky Community College? I don't want you to move. We're family."
"Mia, I'm not turning down a school that's paying me to attend," stella fired back at Mia. "...and we will always be family whether I'm moving to Big Bubble City or halfway across the world." It was obvious Mia still feels uneasy about her big sister moving. To get to Big Bubble City from Bubbletucky, it will take an hour long drive. "You know, just because I'm moving doesn't mean I wont come back to pay a visit. And you and mom and dad are more than welcome to come stop by for a visit."
A smile was slowly forming on Mia's face. "And not to mentioned holiday breaks," stella added. "We'll be together for Thanksgiving and Christmas."
"Yeah I forgot about that," Mia finally responded. But her smiling didn't last long.
"Still sad?"
"Uh-Huh. I'm just gonna miss not seeing you everyday." stella pulls Mia into a hug and the young sister was happy to return it back. stella knew she was going to miss Mia just as much as she will. No matter where she lives, her love and the protection she has for her sister will not change, not even if you pay her.
"I will miss you too baby sis," stella responded. "I will too."
"Thanks stella. Now I feel better."
"Good. Now you wanna help me carry my stuff in dad's car?"
"Sure," Mia answered even though she wanted to say no. The two sisters got off and walked up to the baggage. All of a sudden, Mia just thought of something she just noticed. "Oh hang on stella. I just thought of something." Before stella could respond, Mia ran full speed to across the room to open up the window. She looks over too her right and finds a now fully dressed Lincoln sitting on top of their roof. "Hi Lincoln," she said in a flirtious voice.
"You knew I was here the whole time?" Lincoln asked the young teenager.
"Mm-Hmm. Why else would stella take 20 minutes to get to her bedroom door." The Caucasian male's face was turning to a bright ruby red color.
Man this girl is smart, he thought to himself.
"Anyway I did wanna talk to you."
"About?" Lincoln asked puzzled.
"I just wanna tell you that I'm counting on you to take care of my big sister."
"I promise."
Mia starts blushing for the next thing she wants to say to the blue headed boy. "And I wanna tell you something. Since I met you, you've always been like an older brother so I want to say that I will miss you also."
"Aww," Lincoln chuckled. "And you've always been like a little sister to me. I'll miss you too." Lincoln got closer to the light skinned girl and hugged her before pulling away after ten seconds. The male looked at the time on his purple watch on his right wrist. "Well I better get going. I gotta get ready to hit the road. Bye stella. I'll see you in an hour or two."
"Bye Lincoln." And with that, Lincoln jumped off and landed on the ground. He did fell but quickly got up and headed straight for his house. As he was walking, he looked up and down his block. In just a few moments, he will be saying goodbye to the neighborhood he grew up in. The same street he walked to and from school, play basketball in the front yard, have parties, and even having his first time experience with stella.
Speaking of which, back at her house, stella grab one suitcase a and her guitar case while Mia grabbed the other suitcase and the keyboard. They walked all the way downstairs and finally made it out the front door. The first thing they've noticed was a silver SUV parked outside of the garage and the trunk was already open. A buffed, dark skinned male wearing a grey sweatshirt and red sweatshorts exits the vehicle and walks over to his daughters.
"Hi daddy," Mia called out to her father.
"So I see you decided to help your sister," the man said in a deep voice. The proud father grab the luggage and set them inside the trunk. "You got everything you need, Princess?" Mr. Gentileilla asked his older daughter.
"Almost," stella answered. "I still have a plastic bag with all my accessories and my headphones. I'm about to go get them."
"Okay. While you're up there, make sure your mother doesn't pack the entire room like last time."
"Okay daddy," stella laughed and went back in the house. stella walked back in her empty room. She scans the room until finding a plastic bag on top of the drawer. The bag contains her make up, hair abstentions (don't know how to spell it), rubber bands, her pair of pink Beats by Dre Solo 2 headphones and a white Beats Pill Plus. She took the headphones out and connects them with her iPhone 6. But before she started playing music, she noticed a woman in a dark colored dress, heels and with pink hair that was longer than her own standing by the door. "Hi mom."
Mrs. Gentileilla just smiled at her daughter, obviously very proud. She walked inside the room that was now deserted. "So this is it, huh?" The proud mother asked.
"Yeah I guess this is it," stella answered.
"I remember when you was so little, like only two when you first pick up your microphone. That was when you wanted to become a singer."
"My dreams of becoming a singer began with you. When I be eating breakfast in the mornings, you would have that radio on and sing the lyrics to just about any song."
The mother started laughing at the thought of her singing. "Yeah, but you got the voice from your auntie. I'm a terrible singer."
"But that still didn't stop you," stella laughed back. Mrs. Gentileilla walked in the room and hold both of her daughter's hands.
"stella, I am so proud of you," the mother started off. "But I want you to promise yourself that no matter what, always stay true to yourself and don't let anybody or anything change who you truly are. You are a gifted young lady and people will try to take advantage of that." stella was swallowing everything her mother is telling her and agrees with what she was saying with a nod. It wasn't long before the mother and daughter embraced and tears were both rushing down their faces.
It was a long ride but the Gentileilla family finally made it to Big Bubble City. But the ride wasn't over yet. Now they were looking for the apartments that stella will be staying in. While the father was driving, he comes to an intersection and makes a turn in one of the two left turning lanes behind three vehicles. "Baby, are you still going through your camera?" The husband asked his wife right beside him.
"Yes," the wife responded. "This camera is telling me I have low space for more pictures. But I know for sure I have enough space for at least one more pic."
"Or 27." Just then, the light changed to green and the husband hit the gas and made a left turn in the intersection. A couple more minutes later, he sees a white and blue sign that have University Bubble Condominiums written on it. "We're here. stella, wake up sweetie. We're here."
The SUV made another left turn and was pulling up to the front of the apartment complex. stella and Mia woke up from their naps and look out their windows. There was already dozens of students filling up the parking lots. Some were unpacking their cars, saying goodbye to family and were already inside their apartments. The family could tell because the students were waving from their balconies.
"This place is so amazing," stella commented. She was looking at nine three-story apartment buildings, two swimming pools, a basketball court next to a tennis court, an amazing waterfall, a clubhouse and finally the main office. "Daddy, don't pass by the main office."
"I won't," Mr. Gentileilla said. "Here's a park right here." The SUV parked in the front of the building. Once the engine was off, the family got out and helped the new college student with her stuff.
"I've never seen this many students excited to be starting school," Mrs. Gentileilla stated.
"That's because college is more fun," stella responded.
"And its also the responsibility of a young adult," the father fired back. He walks up to his older daughter. "So with that being said, your mother and I agree to pay for your half of your rent. But as for bills and taxes, thats your and Deema's responsibility."
"Okay. I'll get a job here."
"That's right. And while you're in school, your studies should be your main priority. You understand?"
"I understand."
"I'm proud of you, Princess." The father stressed his arms out so stella could embraced him. He tops it off with a quick peck on top of the head. After pulling away, the two walk inside the building. Once giving out her identity, stella was handed a pair of keys to her apartment. The lady at the front desk also informs her about a package in her bedroom. Once leaving the office, they noticed a purple 1995 Chevy Impala SS pulling up right next to Mrs. Gentileilla and Mia and even with the windows up, they can still hear loud music playing until the car was turned off.
The driver door opens up and stepping out was Lincoln. "Hey stella. You made it."
"Lincoln." The girlfriend embraced her boyfriend and kissed him in the lips like she hasn't seen him forever. "Did you have a safe drive?"
"Uh-Huh," Lincoln stated still holding onto his girlfriend. "I ran into Deema and she just finished unpacking. I'll be happy to drive you."
"Okay. Can I have a few more minutes left with my family?"
"No problem. I'll wait in the car." But before going inside the car, Mrs. Gentileilla stopped Lincoln in his tracks and ask him to take a picture of the family. Once taking the picture, he shows the family of four and before Mrs. Gentileilla could ask for a retake, her husband just took the camera. stella put all her possessions in the trunk of Lincoln's car and embraces her parents and sister one last time. "I'll miss you guys."
"We'll miss you sweetie," her mother responded.
"You know, you guys are more than welcome to come visit and I'll do the same every one a while. And I promise to keep my grades up."
"Just do your best."
"And stay out of trouble," her father added. After one final goodbye, the young adult hopped inside the front seat of the old school Impala. The purple car backed out of the parking lot and just as the gear shifter was set in drive...
"Wait Lincoln. I forgot something." stella quickly got out of the car and ran in front of her sister. She pull out a platinum key from her pocket and hands it to Mia. "Just in case you need a spare key to the house." Mia just looked down at the key before gripping it in her hand. She was having a hard time keeping tears from showing. "Hey, promise me you won't go crazy over every cute guy at school this year?"
"You know I can't promise?" The two sisters embraced one last time. "I love you Mia."
"I love you too stella." stella pulled away from her sister and walked back in the car. Mia watch as the car grew further and further from her and after making a right turn, the car was gone.
December 23rd, mid-afternoon.
It was a sunny, yet cold, day as our two little heroes got off their school bus in front of their homes, along with some other children.
Bus driver: Happy Holidays, children. Have a wonderful winter break.
Kids: Thanks… Bye… Merry Christmas… Happy Holidays…
The bus drove off, and most of the kids went to their houses. But not our two little heroes went to the island in the middle of the street.
stella: So, who's excited that Christmas is almost here!?
Lincoln: I know I am.
Penny: Me, too.
Lincoln: But, there is something I'd like to know, and I know that this is really last-minute; but is there anything you guys want for Christmas?
Penny: Well, I already have a list for my parents and Santa.
Lincoln: I know. I was talking about something that maybe I could get. Or, maybe something we all could get for each other?
stella: Lincoln, that's an awesome idea! We'll each get something for each other, and give them to each other on Christmas. But, where should we spend our Christmas at?
Penny: How about at HQ?
Lincoln: I'm not sure. Our parents would probably get worried about us being all alone.
Penny You're probably right. So, where else should we give our presents to each other?
stella: We'll go to your house, penny.
Lincoln: Yeah. We'll tell our parents about us giving presents to each other, and ask them if we could be there for the Holiday.
Penny: Ok. I don't see why not.
They each go into their houses. Inside Lincoln's house; Lincoln went to find his mom in the living room, reading a book on a chair near their Christmas tree.
Lincoln: Hi, Mom.
Lincoln's mom: Hey, Lincoln. How was your day at school?
Lincoln: It was good. Now, my friends and I decided to get each other presents for Christmas.
Lincoln's mom: That's a nice idea, sweetie.
Lincoln: So, can we go to a store later?
Lincoln's mom: Hold on. You want to get your friends Christmas presents today?
Lincoln: I know. I know. It's last-minute, and I already got something for them. But, I wanted to get something a little extra special for them.
Lincoln's mom: I don't know. Shopping on the holidays is really annoying. Not to mention, last-minute holiday shopping.
Lincoln: I know. But, whatever I get for my friends don't even have to be big, or fancy. So, can we go? (puppy-dog look) Pleeeeaaasssseeeee?
She looked at her son giving her big, cute begging eyes, and thought over his proposal.
Lincolns mom: Actually; there is a place that has plenty of things that I'm sure you and your friends would love.
Lincoln: Really?!
Lincoln's mom: Yes. We'll go there in nine minutes.
Lincoln: Yes! Thanks, Mom.
Lincoln's mom: You're welcome, sweetie. But; where will you and your friends be to give each other your gifts?
Lincoln: We decided to be at Penny's house on Christmas day. Is that okay with you?
Lincoln's mom: Absolutely. We'll have a fun time there.
Lincoln: Thanks again, Mom.
Lincoln's mom: I'll let you know when we'll get going.
Lincoln: Ok.
He goes upstairs to his room, plops himself on the bed, and takes his walkie-talkie out of his back-pack.
Lincoln:Come-in, stella. This is Lincoln. Over.
stella: I read you, Lincoln. Over.
Lincoln: Did you tell your parents about our idea?
stella: Yep. My parents are taking me shopping later, and they like the idea of spending Christmas at Penny's house.
Lincoln: My mom feels the same way.
Penny: Hey, guys. It's Penny. Over.
stella: Hey, Penny. Were your parents receptive to the idea of us spending Christmas at your house?
Penny: Totally. Also, I overheard you guys talking about it, and I'm really excited now!
stella: Great. Now; is there anything you guys want to do tomorrow?
Lincoln: How about we go ice skating?
stella: Great. Ice skating on Christmas Eve will be awesome.
Penny: I don't know. I've never ice skated before.
Lincoln: Don't worry. We'll help you out. Anyway; I'll see you guys later.
stella: Me, too. Bye.
Penny: Bye, guys.
They turn off their walkie-talkies, and Lincoln puts his away.
Ten minutes later; Lincoln and his mother are in the store they agreed to go to, and are in the kids' section.
Lincoln's mom: Ok, Lincoln. Pick out what you want to get for your friends.
Lincoln: Alright.
He looks around at the shelves, and starts humming to "All I want for Christmas is You" playing on the radio in the store. He stops at an activity book with Master Fang and Kick McGee on it.
Lincoln: Hmm… Penny likes Master Fang and Kick McGee.
He sees another activity book, but with lizards on it.
Lincoln: But, also likes lizards. Maybe, we should get them both?
Lincoln's mom: How much do they cost?
He looks at the price for the Master Fang and Kick McGee book.
Lincoln: This one is three dollars and ninety-nine cents.
He looks at the price for the lizard book.
Lincoln: And, so is this one.
Lincoln's mom: Ok, then. We'll get them both.
Lincoln: Wait.
He sees these pens, and finds one that stands out in particular.
Lincoln: Penny would really like this lizard pen, and it's only one dollar.
Lincoln's mom: Alright, honey. Throw them in.
He puts the stuff into the basket.
Lincoln's mom: Ok. Put it in, and we'll get going.
and they head to the cash register. She pays for the stuff, they head out to the car, and start driving back home. While they were heading home, they pass a ring story Lincoln asked her to stop that he had to pick up a ring that he ordered for stella and she did he went in got the ring and they went back home
December 24th, Christmas Eve, nighttime.
Lincoln: It was good. But, I don't know if you guys will like what I got for you. They're not very big, but it was all I could think of to get for you at the moment.
stella: Aww, Lincoln. It won't matter how big the present is. The only thing that will matter is that you gave the presents to us, and that you wanted to make us happy. That's one of the things Christmas is about: Making people you care about happy.
Lincoln: (giggles)… My mom said the same thing to me when she first saw me in doubt about this.
stella: Well, she was right. And, I'm sure whatever you got for us will be fine, and make us happy.
Lincoln: Well, I know you're pretty happy now that it's finally snowing,.
stella: I am pretty happy.
They share a laugh together. Suddenly; Lincoln looks up for a moment, and his face turns red. She sees the look on his face, and becomes concerned.
stella: (blushing) We're under the mistletoe. Aren't we?
He nods his head fast, and they both feel embarrassed.
stella: (still blushing) Sooooo, do you want to- you know?
Lincoln: (still blushing) Well, we're supposed to. So, we don't really have a choice.
They both breathe in and out, lean into each other, close their eyes, and press their lips against each other. She puts her hands around his shoulders, he puts his hands on her waist, and they pull each other closer. The kiss ends,
Penny: Ok. I think that's enough skating for one night.
They get off the rink, and take off their helmets and skates.
December 25th, Christmas Day, late in the morning.
It was Christmas Morning, and it was a snowy day. Outside, there were two-in-a-half inches of snow piled up on the ground. Our heroes and their parents, however, were inside penny's house, and the three of them were in her bedroom giving each other their presents.
Lincoln: Ok. We gave each other our presents we got from the start, and now for our last minute gifts.
Penny: (holds out his first present) Here, Lincoln. This is for you.
Lincoln takes his present, opens it, and a smile appears across his face.
Lincoln: Wow! A special edition Master Fang training manual?!
Penny: So you could practice your moves when you're pretending to be Master Fang. It'll go great with the pretend sword I got for you.
Penny: (holds out one more present) And, here's yours, stella.
She takes her present from him, opens it, and becomes excited.
stella: Cool! A book on bird watching!
Penny: I figured you would like something like that.
stella: Thanks, Greg. I love it. Now, who's turn is it?
Ponny: Actually; I was thinking maybe you could give your presents to me first, and then give your presents to each other?
They were a bit confused by his proposal, but decided to go along with it.
stella: (holds out her present) Here, Penny. From me, to you.
He takes his present from her, opens it, and is really pleased.
Penny: Awesome! A guide on ice skating, and its many tips and tricks.
stella: I saw how nervous you were about ice skating, so I thought that maybe you wanted to learn some stuff about it..
Ponny: Thanks, stella. I'm going to have so much fun.
Lincoln:(holds out his present) Here you go.
He takes his present from Connor, opens it, and has a smile on his face.
Penny: Wow! A Master Fang and Kick McGee activity book. And, another activity book, but with lizards.
She takes the pen out of the lizard book's binding rings.
Penny: And, a Cool Chameleons lizard pen.
Lincoln: They seemed like something you would enjoy.
Penny: Oh, I'm definitely going to enjoy these. Thanks, Connor. Now, you guys can give your presents to each other.
Both of them: Ok.
Penny turned to his pet lizard, Lionel, who was sitting right beside him.
Penny: (whispering) Psst! Lionel! You ready?
The little lizard nodded as Penny pulled out a mistletoe from under her pillow.
Penny: (whispering) Alright, then.
Lionel grabs the mistletoe with his mouth, and hides behind penny's back as she watches Lincoln and stella exchange presents with each other.
stella: (holds out her present) Here's your present,Lincoln
He takes the present from her, opens it, and he is very pleased.
Lincoln: Cool. A coloring book with cats.
stella: I figured since you're a cat lover, you would have fun with something like this.
Lincoln: Thanks, stella. Now, I've got something for you. I hope you like it.
Penny: (whispering) Now, Lionel!
Lionel climbs up the wall to the ceiling as Connor gives his present to Amaya. She opens her present, and is very surprised and happy.
stella: (gasps)! It's an owl plushie! It's so cute!
Lincoln: I know it's not big, but I hope it means something since it's for you, and that it's from me.
stella: Of course it means something to me. It means so much since it's from you. It might not be snow, be at least I know my friends care about me. Thanks, Lincoln.
Lincoln: You're welcome. And I have another presents for you but you have to wait until later it is a very special gift
She looks up at the ceiling, and her face turns red.
Lincoln: stella; are you okay?
stella: (blushing) Well… It's just… We're… Uhh…
He realizes what she's trying to tell him, and his face becomes as red as hers.
Lincoln: (blushing) Again?
stella: (blushing) Yep.
Penny: (whispers to himself) Wait. Again? They were under the mistletoe before?
Lincoln: Well, since we're in front of Penny, we should do it like this.
He leans toward her, and kisses her cheek. She giggles, they look at each other red faced, she kisses his cheek, and he giggles back at her. They turn to Penny, who is watching them with a smirk on his face.
stella: (blushing) Umm… Penny; you don't mind if we-
Penny:Oh, I don't mind one bit.
They look at each other again, lean toward each other, and press their lips against each other. Then; Lincoln ends the kiss, and looks at penny.
Lincoln: Wait. Penny; what's with that look on your face?
Penny: What look?
They look up, and see a certain pet on the ceiling.
Both of them: LIONEL!?
Penny: (busts out laughing)!
Both of them: (blushing) Penny!
Penny: Sorry, guys. It was just a Christmas prank. I didn't mean to be mean.
stella: (sighs)… It's okay. And, we are so going to get back at you for this.
Penny: Okay. What do you have in mind for me?
They look at each other, contemplating what to do.
Lincoln: (gets an idea) Oh. I have something.
Penny: Ok. Lay it on me.
Three minutes later; Lincoln and stella were in Penny's bedroom, and sitting on her bed waiting for hier to come back. She nuzzled her head against his shoulder, and he kisses the top of her head.
Lincoln: Merry Christmas, stella.
stella: Merry Christmas, Lincoln.
The door opens, and Penny comes back in wearing a traditional ugly Christmas sweater.
Penny: I'm back.
Lincoln: So, what was everyone's reactions?
Penny: They were laughing when they saw me in this.
stella: Now, we're even.
Penny: Yes, we are. But, do you guys forgive me?
Lincoln: Of course, we forgive you. You didn't make us kiss in front of other people.
Penny: Yeah. And, only our parents saw me in this. It would've been worse if it were other kids.
stella: Not unless they were wearing ugly Christmas sweaters.
Penny: Good point. Then; we'd all be laughing at each other.
They all share a laugh, and Penny takes off the sweater.
Penny: Merry Christmas, guys.
Both of them: Merry Christmas, Penny.
Then they go down for dinner they eat
after dinner everyone was in the living room so Lincoln thought it was a good time for him to give stella her special gift
he asked her to stand up and she did then he got on one knee and said stella well you be my girlfriend and she said yes I would love to be your girlfriend then she kissed him
than he saw that penny looked sad so he went over to her and said don't worry I have a special gift for you to he reached into his back pocket and got out the locket that he had got for her she hugged him and said thank you for the locket
then he reached into his pocket and took out the poem that he write for stella and he read it and it said this
Rose are red violets are blue I love you more than everything else I like combined before you came into my world there was nothing but darkness then you came into my life now there is nothing but peace and love love Lincoln they all clapped and stella went up to him and kissed him longer than wene he gave her the ring
then they all asked if they could spend the night at Lincoln's house their parents said yes penny went and got some movies from her room and some clothes and her new coloring books and pen and her ice skating book then went downstairs to find out that Lincoln and stella were gone but their parents were still there and they said that they would be right back they only went to get some things from stella's house
they got to stella's house and they went upstairs to her room packed up her Flossy Flash comics and some of her clothes Lincoln Cared her backpack for her with the Flossy Flash comics in it and her school stuff they went back to Penny's house and they got her then they went back to Lincoln's house and to his room and were getting ready to go to sleep when stella found out that she did not have her pajama she asked Lincoln if he had a pair of pajamas that she could use for the night and he said yes I do have a pair that you can use for the night and gave her the best pair that he had then they went to sleep both penny and stella had a nightmare so they went to aske Lincoln if they could sleep with him and he said yes he slept in the middle of them so if they got scared they could cuddle with him and not be afraid then they went to bed
In the morning he got up and saw that he had a missed call from his friend at the hospital he called him back his friend asked if he was alone Lincoln said no but we can still talk his friend said that stella's and Penny's parents were in house fires and stella's mom did not make it the last thing they said is that they wanted you to take stella in and take care of her Penny's mom made it but might not last long can you bring them to the hospital yes I can we well be there in 10 minutes
it was 4:00 he woke them up and said that we have to get to the hospital your parents were in house fires penny went to get clothes on Lincoln told stella that her parents died at the hospital the last words they said were for me to take care of you she started to cry into Lincoln's shirt penny came in and saw it and asked what happened to her her parents died last night in a house fires but your mom did but might not last long
he left his parents a note to tell them where they were so they would not get mad at them then went to the hospital and they found the room that she was in she asked Lincoln to take care of Penny he said that he would then he left her and penny alone Lincoln and stella were in the waiting room
1 hour later the light outside of her room started to blink that meant that Lincoln had to go get penny because he's was not going to live without a fight he put her over his shoulder and took her out to the waiting room they needed another doctor Lincoln said that he would help he told stella to keep Penny here and went to help with Penny's mom 30 minutes later he said time of death 5:30 then he went to go break the news to Penny and she started to cry into Lincoln's shirt that went on for 2 hours they started to walk back to Lincoln's house his parents were up and he told them that he was going to look after stella and Penny on their parents last words
Lincoln wins the lottery for 900,000,00 and told Penny and stella that he was going to pay for the funeral then he left to go find a house then went a got Penny and stella some new clothes and beds then he went back to the house and stella and Penny asked him if he could take them shopping for more clothes he said that he had a surprise then took them to the new house they went to find that Lincoln had already got them some new clothes then Lincoln asked them if they wanted to toke about the nightmares they had they said it was the same thing that happened to day they went to bed it was the day of the funerals and they went to go see the bodies and stella and Penny started to cry into Lincoln's shirt
LAfter the movie me, Lincoln , and the crystal gems walked to my place as me and Lincoln went on about the movie. "it was awesome how they managed to stay faithful to the book unlike most movies I watch" I said as we were walking and then we arrived at my house. I knocked on the door and said "mom! Dad! I have something I need to tell you!" Then my mom opened the door and said "yes what is it conni-" she stopped mid sentence seeing Lincoln and the crystal gems with me "oh come in" she said with an awkward smile and they did come in and they sat down on the couch but Lincoln stood next to me.
"Um misses maheswaran stella has something she needs to tell you" Lincoln said gesturing me to show them my gem. I pulled down the collar of my shirt a bit so that they could see the topaz gem and they gasped. "What does this mean!?" My parents exclaimed in unison "I guess it means im a crystal gem like Lincoln " I replied. "Listen we think stella should stay with us at the temple now that she is a gem considering the temple provides quite a bit of protection for gems considering that anything that would want to hurt her would have to go through us" pearl said to my parents
"Would we still be able to see her?" My mom asked "oh of course you would" pearl said "yeah I live with the crystal gems but I see my dad all the time" Lincoln added. "Im not sure if this is the best idea" my dad said "dad please let me do this if im a crystal gem it would be best if I could stay with them in case their is an emergency mission or something like that" I begged. "Ok stella you can move In with the crystal gems but you ar still going to school every day" my mom said then Lincoln s face lit up as I said "thank you mom!" "I'll help you pcak stella we can just bubble your stuff and send it to the temple" Lincoln added as we went to go pack up my stuff.
I was so gad that stella could move in and I helped her pack everything up. As we were packing I saw a photo album labeled "my time with Lincoln ." I asked stella what it was and she said "oh well I never wanted to forget anything we ever did so whenever we took a picture of something, I put a copy of it in here." I smiled and said "that's cool" I opened it and we started looking through it while the crystal gems were helping stella pack. I kept pointing to pictures saying things like "oh I remember that" or "I cant believe I almost forgot that"
after a bit we finished looking at the album and the gems were currently out of the room. We looked at eachother "man we've been friends for a long time stella" I said "yeah..." she said staring into my eyes our faces got closer and we almost kissed but then amethyst came in saying "hey ste-man we've got everything packed lets bubble it up and send it to the temple" then pearl came in and said "dang it amethyst you ruined their moment" me and stella were blushing intensely and I just walked over to her stuff and started sending it to the temple without saying a word after I was done stella was saying goodbye to her parents
When she was done we left and went back to the temple. After we got back garnet got stella's stuff for her and unbubbled it. She unpacked her stuff and then she came over to me as I was finishing the preparations for my mission tomorrow "what are you doing Lincoln ?" She asked and I replied "well before the thing with that monster happened the gems said now that im getting older I can go on a mission by myself and im preparing for that" she pooked down and said "oh..." then I had an idea "do you want to come with me tomorrow!?" I asked excitedly and she said "sure! I would love to" and after that we took our showers and went to sleep luckily she had a sleeping bag that she placed next to my bed and that was stella's first day living with us
I woke up to the sound of stella's alarm clock "what the-" I said not realizing what it was then stella hit the snooze button and said "sorry for waking you up Lincoln but I need this to wake me up for school." I smiled and said "no its ok now I get to hang with you before you head off to school" I said rubbing my eyes. We got out of bed and went to the kitchen to have breakfast. I made some waffles and me and stella started eating after we put butter and syrup on them. "Hey Lincoln " stella said looking up at me "what is it?" I asked looking back at her "um there is going to be this dance at my school next friday and I wanted to ask you to come as my friend" I smiled and said "of course that sounds awesome I would love to go" stella's face lit up and she said "thank you Lincoln there are some people who bully me and if I didn't bring someone they would probably bully more" I looked at her in surprise "whaaat! Why would people bully you you're so awesome, and funny, and talented, and pretty, and smart!" I exclaimed she smiled and said "thank you Lincoln but I guess not everybody thinks that" she looked at her watch and said "oh I've got to go Lincoln I'll see you after school" and she left I walked out of the house to the place by the beach where the crystal gems had gotten the bus driver to be able to stop at for me. I got on to the bus and sat down at the very back and then my main bully Alyssa came over and said "hey four eyes do you have anyone to bring to the dance" then she laughed and said "what a stupid question of course you dont, you don't have any friends" I got really mad at her and without thinking said "well as a matter of fact im bringing my boyfriend Lincoln she smirked and said "you never mentioned a boyfriend before" and I replied with "that's because I would only mention it to a friend I wouldn't just randomly say it to someone like you." She looked at me probably thinking 'god stella is so pathetic' and after a second she said "ok if he is real then tell me some things about him" I got even angrier and said "well his mother died giving birth to him because she had to give up her physical form to give Lincoln her magical gem, he can summon a magic shield and a magic bubble, he has a pet lion, and he lives with the crystal gems who protect the earth and as far fetched as that sounds it's all true She laughed for 10 seconds and said "god you have to stop reading all those fantasy books because you are forgetting what reality is" I gritted my teeth and said "I'll prove it I'll bring him to school tomorrow" she smirked and said "okay then" in a sarcastic voice then we stopped talking and I got through school as I heard everyone whispering About what I said on the bus and after I got home I went inside with tears in my eyes and hugged Lincoln . "Lincoln I need to talk to you" I said wiping my tears "what is it?" He asked and I explained what happened on the bus and he said "it's ok stella I'll take you to school tomorrow and say im your boyfriend and I'll do the same at the dance" I huged him again whispering "thank you so much Lincoln "
I woke up to stella's alarm clock again and I hit the clock for her and shook her "stella get up" I said as I shook her and she slowly got up and stretched her arms "oh good morning Lincoln I can't wait to show everyone that you're real, thank you again for doing this" she said as we got up and went over to the kitchen. I smiled at her and said "it's no problem stella it will be fun pretending we're a couple I mean people already assume we are one so it should be easy but stella I need to ask... are you planning on telling your school about your gem" she thought for a second and said "maybe soon possibly even today if I really feel like it but probably not"
I frowned in disappointent "aww why not? You can just tell everyone about me if you want them to stop bullying you, you got to show them how awesome you are too" she smiled and said "I'll think about it Lincoln for now lets just head to school on lion" we went to the beach where lion was "lion take us to stella's school through a portal please" I said as we climbed on to lion then he got up and roared a portal and jumped through it then we arrived in front of stella's school with everyone looking in awe and I simply said "sup." Then the girl stella told me about walked up to us "you must be Alyssa, stella has told me about you. Im stella's boyfriend Lincoln universe"
"Yeah right none of that was real the portal was probably a parlor trick and this lion is probably painted pink" I took a dep breath if there was one thing I learned from what I knew about my mother is that I can find beauty in anything as long as I have the patience so I was sure I could get alyssa to be nice to stella or at minimum act nice. "Alyssa it's not fake let me show you something else" I got off lion with stella and said "watch this" I reached into lions mane and pulled out my mother's sword and pulled it out then stabbed it into the ground "see? You cant fake this."
I looked at my watch and said "oh stella I've got to go I promised garnet I'd go on a mission with her today and im gonna be going soon" I kissed her on the lips and said "see ya later" and I climbed onto lion and I went back to the temple he got back to the temple and garnet said were did you go I had to take stella to school and stop a bully from being mean to her than he said that he could not go on the mission tomarow she asked way he said that he was taking stella to her school dance because she asked me very nicely to Me and Lincoln were getting dressed in fany outfits for the dance he was wearing a tux and I was wearing a sky blue dress with an elegant lilac purple flower pattern on it. When Lincoln saw it he was having trouble finding words but he got there and finally said "y-you look beautiful stella". Then the warp pad activated and the crystal gems appeared "what are you two dressed all fancy for?" Pearl asked then Lincoln looked at them and said "oh, there is this dance at stella's school and she invited me" garnet smiled and said "the big dance, dont do anything I wouldn't do" she looked at us and added "anyways if you guys want I can bring you there my way is fast and fun" she said with a thumbs up like she does.
"Sure we are ready to go anyways" I replied then garnet picked us up and walked outside and jumped all the way to my school and she set us down "I'll be back at 10:30" I looked at her and said "how do you know when the dance ends" then I remembered "oh yeah, future vision" she jumped off and we went inside to the dance and saw alyssa and her friends.
She came over to us and said "oh look it's stella and her FAKE boyfriend" I got mad and said "he IS my boyfriend" "yeah I am" Lincoln added. Alyssa's friend hannah smirked and said "really then prove it" "yeah prove it" alyssa added and I was turning over to ask Lincoln what we should do but before I knew it his lips were on mine and we were kissing and I kissed him back blushing intensely. We went all out Making it look real and passionate we even embraced each other and I thought 'I really wish Lincoln was my boyfriend then we could do that all the time' and after a few seconds we stopped
"See what more proof do you need?" She stomped her foot "this is impossible! How can a guy as awesome as this be dating a loser like stella" and for whatever reason she was almost tearing up and then she ran away "stella stay here" Lincoln said and he tried to leave but then I couldn't help but ask "why are you going after her?" And Lincoln replied "this may be my chance to get through to her and get her to stop bullying you and possibly even be your friend" that's how Lincoln always was, wanting everyone to be friends so I let him go talk to her and waited for him.(Lincoln s pov)I found alyssa crying by the entrance "I can't let a loser throw me back in to unpopularity and have me be bullied again" so he said "is that why you bully stella?" I ask "because you're afriad that if she becomes popular you will become unpopular and people will end up bullying you?" She looked back and said "Lincoln ?" I walked over to her "listen that won't happen stella is a nice person so even if she did become popular im sure she'd be nice to you and make sure you stayed popular because stella is cool like that. She doesn't hold a grudge, she just wants friends." I said then she looked at me and silence.
"I'm gonna be honest we are pretending that we're dating but I do love her but im too afraid to tell her" she looked down and said "are you sure I could be friends with stella after all I've said and done to her" I smiled and said "of course as long as you change your ways im sure she'd love to be your friend." She turned to me "then can you come with me as I apologize to her" i said yes I can I started walking back into the school saying "of course, lets go" and she followed me in we went and told stella that she was going to be nice to you then he took her to the side and said "stella, I've really liked you for a long time. I understand if you don't feel the same way. Who'd like a freak like me." Lincoln told her, looking down. "I- I like you too Lincoln it was 10:30 and Garnet did not show up so Lincoln sat down and meditated and connected to garnets mind and he said that they were ready to be picked up 5 minutes later she showed up and he asked her if she got his mind message she said yes I did then they went back home
