I do not own Batman or Pokemon.
It was just another typical night for the Batman to go out on the streets of Gotham to make sure that the criminals were too scared to come out at night and harass the innocent. The Dark Knight did this almost every night in order to ensure that the citizens of Gotham City can walk the streets without fear of getting robbed or worse...
He I just left the batcave just a few minutes earlier to respond to a call at a warehouse owned by his alter egos company, Wayne Enterprise. Batman knew that whoever or whomever was breaking into that warehouse, they could not be up to anything good is that warehouse stored some of the more secretive inventions and products of Wayne Enterprise.
"Are you sure it's not a false alarm, master Bruce?" inquired a man who look like a butler as he appeared on the screen of the batmobile.
"I'm sure as a false alarm wouldn't result in the security cameras being cut."responded Batman to his loyal Butler / closest thing he had to a father.
"Well I certainly hope it is not a false alarm as you once again turn down another date... I'm getting worried about you master Bruce, you're already twenty seven, and you're not getting any younger. Don't you think it's time to begin the next generation of Wayne's by meeting someone nice."said Alfred, who felt like it was time for Batman / Bruce Wayne to settle down and start a family with some nice lady.
"This again. I told you I don't have time for this Alfred. I'll settle down when I'm ready."responded Batman, who lost count of how many times his Butler has had this conversation with him.
"We both know that won't be anytime soon and I worried that you'll die alone if you keep this up. I will not be around forever, master Bruce, I'm sure you're aware of that."said Alfred, reminding Bruce that he was old enough to be his father.
"I know..."responded Batman, who knows that Alfred won't be around forever as he's way older than him.
Of course Batman knew at some point Alfred would pass on to the next world like his parents did all those years ago on that horrible night. Batman would never admit it, but he does not take loss well and he will certainly miss Alfred when that day inevitably arrives.
"So I suggest you do something about your fear of commitment and finally be with someone who wants to be with you."said Alfred, hoping that Bruce does not die alone as that's the last thing he wants.
"Gotta go Alfred."said Batman as he reached for the button to cut off the call.
"We are not done talking about this."said Alfred, before Batman hung up on him.
"I have too many things to do before I ever think about selling down."said Batman to himself, as he knew that the mission came first for him before anything else.
He need to make sure that the citizens of Gotham City and anywhere else he could help would feel safe from the criminals and supervillains he deals with on a daily basis. Batman doesn't want what happened to him happened to them. When he lost his parents at a young age it destroyed him, changed him, and created a darkness inside his heart that he knows makes him a great hero, but should it get out of control it would make him a threat to everyone else.
Batman quickly threw away those thoughts and shook his head as he arrived at the warehouse where the alarm had went off. It was raining heavily outside but he didn't care as his bat suit was waterproof. So without a moment of hesitation Batman stepped out of the batmobile and began to head towards the warehouse, where he saw the the door that led to the emergency hallway had been forcibly forced open.
"That can't be good."said Batman to himself, before he went inside the emergency door and began making his way into the warehouse.
As Batman was making his way through the warehouse, the hairs on the back of his neck stood up the whole time as his sense of danger was telling him that something was terribly wrong in the warehouse, he just had no idea what it was.
'There is someone watching me.' thought Batman, as he's been a vigilante long enough to know when he's being watched from afar.
"I'm so glad you can finally make it, Dark Knight of Gotham."said a voice that Batman recognized all too well.
"Hugo!"shouted Batman, recognizing the voice as belonging to the super villain Hugo Strange, a former psychiatrist at Arkham asylum who turned evil after getting his license revoked for inhumane experiments on the patients.
"I have waited for this day for a long time, Dark Knight. It it's because of you that my life was ruined after you expose my necessary experiments to the world!"said Hugo from somewhere in the shadows.
"Your experiments were inhumane!"said Batman as he looked around for Hugo.
"They were necessary for the advancement of science! But you and those fools on the board of directors could never understand my vision! Now I have to live my life as a scientist living in the shadows, and it's all your fault!"said Hugo Strange, before the lights in the warehouse began to turn on.
"I knew that this Warehouse was empty, so I decided to set off the alarm with the intention of luring you into a trap!"said Hugo Strange, revealing that he was standing on a high catwalk.
"And what trap would that be?"inquired Batman, who had a feeling that Hugo was being unusually confident considering he revealed his location to him.
"This!"shouted the mad scientist, before he pulled out a remote and pressed a button on it.
This cause several of the crates throughout the warehouse to burst open to reveal that they were filled with what appeared to be mechanical robots! And these were not nice looking robots considering they look like they were armed with hands big enough to crush a human skull!
"You may be able to take on an army of petty thugs, but I have a feeling an army of robots is a bit above your pay grade!"said Hugo Strange, before he activated his army of robots, which quickly began charging towards Batman.
Batman quickly tried to get out of the way by unleashing his grappling hook, but one of the robots closed in and grabbed his grappling hook out of his hand. Said robot then crush the grappling hook in it's giant hands before it charge that The Dark Knight!
Batman quickly slid underneath the robot's feet, before he jumped on the robot and pulled its head off of its body, disabling it. It wasn't that moment that another robot tried to grapple Batman, but the world's greatest detective jumped out of the way, before throwing several batarangs at the robot. Said batarangs lodged themselves into the robots exoskeleton, before clicking sound was heard.
A few seconds later the batarangs exploded and the robot was completely destroyed!
The Dark Knight on the other hand landed on the floor and activated his taser knuckles. He then began punching robot off the robot with his taser knuckles, causing their systems to Short circuit as he took down several robots with a few swings of his mighty fists!
Batman then through several more explosive batarangs at the robots, destroying dozens of them in the process, but they just kept coming after him!
Soon one of them got to drop on the Batman and managed to put him in a bear hug! Batman tried to reach for his utility belt to pull out something that could help him get out of the bear hug, but two of the robots grabbed his hands before he could do anything!
"I don't think so, Dark Knight of Gotham! This is where you suffer a slow and painful death as that robot slowly crushes your organs from the inside out!"shouted the mad scientist before he began laughing like a maniac.
His victory was all but a shirt as Batman struggled to breathe as he felt his chest and organs being crushed by the robot as it squeezed him tighter and tighter! Batman felt like he was going to pass out at any moment as the robot continued to press his body down with everything it had, adding more strength each second as Batman could feel his bones cracking!
'I got to do something!' thought Batman as he felt his bones being crushed.
"There you are!"said a cute sounding voice that sounded like it was coming from just above Hugo.
This made the mad scientists turn around to see some kind of foot tall pink cat / kangaroo like creature flow towards Batman. The Dark Knight was easily as confused, as he was wondering what this creature was, and what it was doing there.
"Let him go, you big meanie!"said Mew, before he used his psychic powers to make the robot let go of Batman, along the Dark Knight to breathe as he fell to the floor.
"Now I'll take care of the rest of you!"said Mew, before he floated every single remaining robot into the air, before he slammed them down full force with his psychic power onto the floor, crushing them completely flat!
"My robots! NO...!"shouted Hugo Strange as he jumped down from the catwalk while pulling out what appear to be a laser gun.
"Your going to pay for messing up my plans, pink cat creature!"shouted Hugo, before he aimed the laser gun Mew, and began firing.
"Ahh!"said the new species Pokemon, before he used protect to protect himself from the laser rifle blasts.
It was then and there that Batman managed to recover by catching his breath. He then use the distraction that the pink creature was doing to get close to Hugo Strange! The mad scientist noticed this I'll take place, but it was too late for him to do anything as the Batman closed in and struck Hugo in the face with with a rough jab!
Then he followed up with a cross punch! Before he finished off the mad scientist with a one two combo punch to the face, knocking the mad scientist out along with a few of his teeth!
Hugo Strange then proceeded to fall to the floor as Batman laid down on a nearby crate catch his breath as some of his bones felt cracked from being bear hugged earlier.
"Are you okay?"said Mew as he floated towards Batman to see if he was okay.
"No..."said Batman, who was pretty sure he had internal bleeding.
"Then let me heal you."said Mew, before he used heal pulse on The Dark Knight.
Now Batman was going to do something then and there, but he quickly decided not to as he quickly figured out that the being the creature was shooting him with was healing his body as he could feel his bones being set back in, the fracture is healing as his internal bleeding stopped and all the blood that was lost return to where it was.
"Ha..."said Batman as he felt himself heal, indicated by the fact that he got up with no obvious signs of injuries.
"There, all better."said Mew, before he floated towards the Dark Knight.
"Why did you save me?"questions Batman, wondering why this mysterious pink cat kangaroo creature saved him from what certainly would have been certain death.
"I need your help to save my world!"shouted Mew as he got in Batman's face.
"... I have a feeling I'm going to have to talk to the rest of the Justice League about this..."said Batman, as for the first time in a long time the world's greatest detective had no idea what was going on.
And he would have even less of an idea what was going on as he would come to realize that fate had something else in store for him in order to save a world that was not his own.
If anyone ask why the chapters are so similar, it's because they are as I'm going to use this as a jumping point for several of my Batman x Pokemon stories.
I no that is kind of lazy but it's what I need to do!
Unless you guys have a better suggestion on how Batman gets to the Pokemon world in future Batman x Pokemon stories.
