The Big City, it is usually a place packed full of busy people rushing around the streets, either getting to work or going back home. However, on some days that isn't the case, and one of these days is today. It is Thanksgiving and everyone is inside doing themselves a lovely dinner, resting their feet and, most importantly, spending time with their friends and family... Except one little sheep.
In his conveniently-affordable apartment, Sheep is preparing himself a small Thanksgiving dinner of his own, and to rest his hoofs once it's complete. But he had no one to join him for Thanksgiving, and that really upset him. Earlier, Sheep tried asking Swanky, the poodle of his dreams, to come over to his apartment for the holiday. Unfortunately, Swanky's owner, Lady Virginia Richington, recently put up guards so that no one, including Sheep, can even go near their mansion. If that wasn't enough, Sheep also learned via a phone call that Swanky won't be able to join because she is too busy to even leave the mansion. Sheep then thought about having Farmer John over, but realised that he would force him back to the farm and treat him like his favourite sheep. The farm was a living hell for Sheep, as some of the animals bullied and harassed him because of how Farmer John treated him, and even some of his family disowned him for wanting to be in the Big City when he first escaped there. But even if the farm was a safe heaven for Sheep, but even if Farmer John is not a creepy and obsessive stalker, Sheep noticed that he hadn't seen Farmer John in months and thought he was also too busy to invite him over. Sheep then thought about if he had any other friends if they could come over, but remembered that he didn't have any other friends now. In the end, Sheep miserably accepted the fact he was going to be alone for the holiday.
When Sheep placed his now-finished food onto the table, he looked around his apartment, not a single person in sight. "Man, I'm so alone..." He sadly bleated as he sat down on one of the chairs. Sheep didn't cut a piece of his food, since he wasn't feeling that hungry. Sheep was about to drop a tear when he heard a knock on the door. "Who's there? Is someone actually gonna join me?" Sheep asked himself as he rushed to the door. In hope it will be Swanky, Sheep stood up professionally and opened the door. However, what he saw behind the door made Sheep's jaw drop. It wasn't Swanky. It wasn't Farmer John. It wasn't General Specific and his henchmen. In fact, it wasn't anyone Sheep saw almost everyday during his life in the Big City. Instead, it was someone that Sheep knew before and was friends with, before that was taken away because of a assignment in Toledo. It was X Agent, who looked very exhausted but was very happy to see Sheep after over a year of absence. "X Agent...Is- is that you?" Sheep asked. X Agent slowly nodded. Almost instantly, Sheep gave X Agent a big hug as he couldn't put into words on how much he missed him. X Agent hugged Sheep back and even shared a tear or two, "I missed you too, Sheep..." The two sheep continued to hug for a few minutes as they really don't want to lose each other again.
Eventually, they grew tired of hugging and lets go of each other. Sheep couldn't believe it, X Agent had actually returned. Sheep then remembered the food made on the table and his situation of not having anyone over for Thanksgiving. He thought it would be the perfect opportunity to invite X Agent over, "Say... Would you like to join me for Thanksgiving? I already have the food prepared, it's not much but I'd really like someone to join me!" X Agent agreed, "Sure, why not? Besides, I'm kinda hungry." "Well then! Make yourself at home!" Sheep bleated as he guided his no-longer-lost-friend to the table for their Thanksgiving dinner.
