"Now... Here we are..." X Agent finished, "You maybe thankful that I came back here safely... But I feel so guilty for leaving Toledo... The people there had suffered greatly because of me not being careful enough and not doing anything to help. If I hadn't listened to that telegram and gone to that town, none of this would happen. It's all my fault, and I'LL NEVER FORGIVE MYSELF!" X Agent then broke down into tears. Sheep felt extremely sorry for X Agent because of what he went through, and even started to cry himself. But all he can do is hug and comfort X Agent as much as he could. "X Agent... Shh... It's okay..." Sheep soothed. "IT'S NOT OKAY, SHEEP!" X Agent cried, "WHY DO YOU THINK ALL OF IT'S GONNA BE OKAY?!" "X Agent... It wasn't your fault, you didn't mean for all of this to happen. It's that fucking admiral's fault, and it's understandable why you went to Toledo and fled. In fact, you had actually helped the people there by escaping, since that admiral can't use the ray-gun now." Sheep comforted. X Agent was about to argue back, but he just continued to sob. "Shh... Shh..." Sheep soothed. It went on for a few minutes until X Agent had stopped sobbing, though still distressed. Sheep just continued to hug and comfort X Agent, "X Agent, do you feel any better after telling me about it?" X Agent looked at Sheep, still tearing up. "A little..." He told, "But... I just can't let go of it..." "I understand... I perfectly understand..." Sheep comforted. He looked at the time and realised that it was late. Sheep didn't like the thought of X Agent sleeping in his own apartment alone because of what he just went through, and had an idea. "Would you like to stay here for the night?" Sheep offered. "Might as well..." X Agent agreed, "But I'm scared of falling asleep, these fucking nightmares wouldn't leave me the fuck alone!" "I'll be there when you need me. I'll always be there for you..." Sheep reassured. "Do you promise?" X Agent asked. Sheep smiled back, "I promise." X Agent just said nothing as he lied down on the couch. Sheep walked away from the living room, and came back with a pillow and a blanket. "I hope they help..." Sheep offered. "It's fine, Sheep. I can manage." X Agent accepted as Sheep placed the pillow behind X Agent's head and the blanket onto his body. X Agent refused to sleep at first, "I can't sleep..." "It's going to be alright..." Sheep soothed, "I'll be right there for you." X Agent was unconvinced at first, but his body grew tired and he eventually fell asleep.
Sheep sat down on one of the chairs as he looked at X Agent sleeping peacefully. Sheep believed that it was X Agent's first peaceful sleep in over a year, and he reflected on what he confessed. Everything that X Agent told triggered Sheep to a big degree, but he knew raging wouldn't solve anything and he couldn't do anything about it. The best he can do is to support X Agent as much as he could. Sheep was also having trouble sleeping, as he worried that X Agent might have a nightmare, and be too much in a deep sleep to hear his screams and begs for help. But now all that matters is that X Agent is away from the base that tortured him and he is mostly now at peace in The Big City...
