I haven't seen a story about reincarnated as a god in the Elder Scrolls so I decided to be the first.
'Alright. I finished my many chores. Now I will sit on my PC and take a break.' he thought.
Then George opened his PC and waited for it to fully open up. But then he heard a voice "George can you take the laundry from the balcony? It has dried up."
"Yeah sure." George answered without complain but inside he was a bit annoyed. He had cleaned the paths of the yard and the floor of the outside building due to the fact that the leaves dirtied it. He also had cleaned the floor of the two major balconies. All of that took 2-3 hours.
Now was almost noon and since it was early autumn nobody wants to work at this hour. At least that is how he felt. But putting some clothes inside won't take long and it would be better if he did it. He could hear the washing machine and that meant that his mom would put other clothes on the balcony to dry.
He took his sandals and went to the balcony to gather the clothes. He then organized them. Underwear and socks, T-Shirts and shorts separately and then started putting them on top of each other. T-Shirts below the shorts and the shorts below the Underwear and socks. Creating a small pyramid of clothes and then he placed said pyramid on his parents' bed.
'Now I can sit on my PC. Well it has finished opening. Maybe I will open YouTube and see if the channels I am subscribed to have any interesting videos for me.' he thought in his head.
Just when YouTube finished loading a bright red light seemed to consume the world "What the...?" and all went black.
George regained consciousness and noticed something strange. He could feel his surroundings, see and experience them all at once.
He was in a weird place. The sky was filled with stars, colors he has seen and never seen before. The ground was flat with grass, trees and flowers and different colored crystals. And the weirdest thing was that he was certain that this world was infinite.
"Where am I? And why are my senses so weird?" George didn't know what to think.
"Wait what about my body?" When George focused on it he realized that he was a ball of light.
"Okay? This is so weird that I don't know if I should be panicking or go with the flow. This has to be a dream. Yes this is a dream." This monologue was more to calm himself than something he believed.
He then came with an idea. He decided to imagine himself change into his body and that is what happened. His body changed to that of an 19 year old with brown eyes, black short hair with an orange shirt and red shorts. His body and cloths.
Then something happened. A blue PC window opened with red letters. "What?! He was startled since he never experienced something like this in person.
"A message? I hope I find some answers." George thought.
The message was the following:
'Dear George you are probably confused or unsure of your situation so allow me to explain. You died by divine energy that struck you by accident. The divine energy was dangerous to your world and it had infused itself into your soul. This meant that your soul couldn't stick around and we couldn't extract it so we had to create a new universe and turn you into a god. We don't really do this but our other option was your soul's erasure, however since you were innocent we decided to give you a second chance. Don't worry about your family and house. we fixed the damage of the surroundings, changed people's memories and made it seem that you died from a spider bite. We also made sure that your family will be happy in the future so don't worry.
As for your new life. You are an Et'Ada in the Elder Scrolls. Specifically in the dawn of time. The only other Et'Ada that exists is Auri-El but others have began forming. The only reason you are first is because you are a fully developed individual but you needed time to start existing. We placed you in Aetherius but you can go anywhere and do anything. Have fun.'
George read the message "If this is a prank this isn't funny."
The message disappeared "Wait, don't go." he extended his right arm as if trying to grab it.
George then decided to try to see a PC window by moving his fingers up and down like in SAO but nothing happened.
"Open sesame" nothing happened.
"Log Out"... "Game Menu"... "Do something, please" Nothing happened. He tried many thing but nothing happened.
"Well there is no way I died. This has to be a dream. At least I hope." George refused to believe the message was real.
"Still, this is far too realistic. Oh well. I should enjoy my dream while it lasts," George began to think about what to do.
He decided to change his body. After thinking about it he came up with an appearance.
His body glowed and began to change. His body became 1.70 meter in height. He obtained two feathery wings that are completely white. He changed his hair to bright red and bright blue eyes. He also placed a tattoo that was a light blue that went through his left eye, went throughout his body. The tattoo glowed and it was similar to the tattoo that Kratos has in God Of War. He added muscle all across his body. In the end he looked like an angel.
"That was weird." he exclaimed as the transformation finished. Before the message distracted him from the feeling.
He then moved looked at his body and noticed he was naked.
"I had cloths before." when he remembered his previous transformation his remembered that he used the energy known as Magicka to form them, but they didn't have any magical properties.
So he decided to do the same but with a silver shining silver armor that covered everything except for the head and wings. Now I look like an angel of good.
George wanted to fly and he began to move his wings. He could feel them just fine. He then flapped them and ran which gave him the momentum to fly. He enjoyed it.
Normally he was afraid of heights but he didn't feel fear this time around. He began to add speed and flew to the sky.
He loved how the wind blew against him as he flew and then he went down with high speed and before striking the ground he flew up and he continued flying around.
He went to the cloud and flew above them, in them and even changing their shape by him flying. Like he made a cloud look like ice cream and another a smiling face emoji.
After some time of flying around and admiring the world he realized something. There was a spot that felt weird.
Now he could feel his surroundings, see and experience them all at once.
But if he focused on something he lost track of everything else.
He decided to go to it and when he arrived he saw something strange.
It was an area that was had a golden light that didn't extend as ray of sunlight but remained contained it the area.
His senses also sensed a distortion in space on this area. He could tell that there are many areas like that here.
He decided to use his magic on it to make it stable. He extended his two arms at it. He understood how it worked and how to make it stable.
This didn't make sense to him but he didn't care. He then shot two golden light beams from his hand at it. Making it stable.
It looked like a hole inside of golden light. He decided to look inside and saw what you would call a gap and the gap ended at other lights that lead to other worlds.
He could feel the infinity of this space and that there are an infinite number of them.
He decided to walk in. He will explore these other worlds of Aetherius.
IMPORTANT MESSAGE.
I know the chapter is small but the next chapters will be bigger.
The next chapter/s will be about the MC going though an emotional pain realizing that he won't see his family again. I just wanted to put that in a different chapter so that I don't make this chapter confusing.
I will be uploading fanfics here and on Archive of Our Own so if you see my fanfics somewhere else it means it is illegal unless I say otherwise.
Releasing new chapters will be random so don't expect a release schedule.
If you want to make a story about a similar premise you can but don't take my MC. Make your own character.
The Elder Scrolls is vast and the Dawn Era has many versions so things will be how I want it to be and I can't please everyone.
I don't like the "Elder Scrolls is a dream" so Chim works differently.
