Chapter 6:

When they were back home they rested a bit and then chatted, Trunks starting the conversation

-Oh yeah how dumb of me, if i destroy the Power ball you detransform and lose quite a bit of energy then is for you impossible to win- She looked with pride but also looked him up suspiciously and talked

-Are you sure you don't forget something important- She chuckled and her tail started to move in front of him slowly like a snake she then followed up

-If you cut my tail, i won't be able to transform any longer, also i won't be able to regrow it at this point, so let's make this bet-

-If you manage to beat me and my Oozaru, you'll get freedom of action and you'll have to cut my tail so i won't transform anymore, and won't be able to regrow it-

-If i win and you don't beat me and defend this place i'll throw another one of those cutie balls, yes a Power ball into the air, transform and kill you and destroy this place and kill all the survivors from the androids- She said with an adorable tone yet frightening

-Then you'll need to win, you have a month to beat me, if you can't now you know the consequences this will be the perfect motivation-

Trunks was ready he will beat this new threat of his master at any cost, protect earth and win, his resolve was back, even if it would cost her master heavily,it was set the training to defeat those androids monsters, and it will be defeating another monster.

Chapter 7:

The next morning came back again to the desert for the first face off, he noticed this was not a light spar as he saw she was already there and holding something peculiar and known in her hand, and after seeing her throw it with a lot of strength into the sky not long after he heard some words he knows already due to its flashiness the day prior

-Power Ball! burst open split and mix!-

-Do you have to yell that everytime? It gets annoying-

-is to fuck with you and behind you, you super smart guy- Trunks' innocence played him a bad hand, she didn't immediately expand the ki ball and as he turned back the power ball exploded and shined extremely, blinding him temporarily this day Gwen didn't need to transform, she tricked him into blindness and although a super saiyan and Gwen in her base state weakened the light show left Trunks dizzy and blind enough for her to beat him up soundly and took him to CC beat up

-MASENKOO!- Trunks yelled, while Gwen retracted her hands and also threw an a attack at the blast, the collision was amazing and it seemed due to stamina Trunks was about to lose -NOO i can't lose this for those poor children and elderly, for the people with dreams and aspirations or in pain i win here to save them ALLL!- He then yelled loudly his aura exploded wind arround everywhere and all of a sudden he got bulkier and his muscles grew a bit a second wind from his side of the blast massively overpowered hers and it knocked the beast off, Trunks quickly redirected his blast to the sky to destroy the means of her transformation, and with all that strength it exploded in a massive way irradiating light everywhere, she detransformed quickly and got dropped in the ground the fight has ended and Trunks has surpassed her for the first time, gasping for air both met and she said first

-You did it Trunks… you beat me, and saved everyone from disaster, that's what i wanted from you, you're ready- Still gasping and looking for air, being tired from the fight

-And now to finish this- She got up and freed from her waist her tail giving it to Trunks it twitching slightly,

-I can't do this- he said

-Don't worry i knew you'd say that, i'll do it myself but you can't show mercy to terrible enemies- she then proceeded to tightly grab it and before a quick and hard pull, Trunks stopped her and said

-Wait… there is something you aren't telling me about this- she responded a bit saddened

-In a saiyan's tail you store memories from the distant past and when cut they fade away quickly in between sleeps, i thought this was an opportunity to move on from that as well as to look for a path that pushes me forward and doesn't classify me as a saiyan-

- Gwen… isn't your name and actions enough proof that your race is not what makes you what you are?- he then continued

-Do you really think erasing some memories like that will really help you? I still remember vividly what happened to Gohan and seeing him, the news about my mother that broke me too, but now with your arrival, with internal thinking and motivation about other people i'm not really to give up like that, neither should you on anyone that you want to leave behind-

-Keep them in your head and let them help you and guide you through toughness and don't dishonor your origin by cutting off any tie with it, and my order as a Royal is for you to not cut your tail-

Gwen reacted a bit stunned and not knowing what to do but naturally, she went to him and hugged him both embraced and it remembered Trunks on his relationship with his family and finally realized he was not alone anymore

-Thank you mighty prince, i'll gladly fight by your side anytime and finally we get to rest for a bit before taking on those androids-

-Yeah you're damn right- both laughed and walked off home, hungry, tired but most importantly full of determination and courage.

Chapter 9:

After a couple of weeks finally the day has arrived and Trunks Gwen will take on the androids, the terrible #17 and #18, who have been destroying and punishing the earth's inhabitants to the max, now it was earth's payback to defend itself and avenge the fallen from these monsters' killings. It's been half a year since they stopped hunting humanity extensively and just settled down and waited for whoever would be dumb enough to challenge them, finally they heard taps on the floor and saw two puny humans, one of them they remembered him very well it's been a while since they saw him and #17 opened up

-Ah but look who it is? Our old friend Trunks back to greet us again-

- Yes 17 i was dying of boredom after all of that inaction earlier on this year really-

-Heard about what happened to mama Trunks, sorry about that if we knew she was there we would have stopped to play a little longer with that special one and keep things interesting- said #17 mockingly, Trunks exploded with rage and responded in complete anger

-You damned androids! I'm gonna make you pay dearly for all of what you have done to us, especially my family!-

-Trunks, wait do not lose your cool and keep yourself cooled and aware as i've always been telling you- Gwen told him to tranquilize

-Yeah, a random girl dressed weirdly and comes here to beat us? The only thing you should be doing is looking for a circus application-

-Don't worry machines you'll soon meet your maker and with that ugly head i'll make a good teapot, now less talking more action!- She threw herself at #18 and Trunks did the same to #17, the fight was now on, the battle was intense Trunks turned super saiyan immediately and Gwen used her 100% from the start, they both knew with their "Zenkais" (ability to gain quite a strength boost after heavy damage), they had grown enough to face off individually with one android each but their ki wasn't infinite contrary to the infinite reserves of their foes, then after hours of battle, #17 quickly bursted a bubble by saying

-Heh, you've fought well you gave us all this trouble to us in our 80%, more than any other fighter now let's end this properly by jumping to the max- this was ground moving for both, they knew if this was the max they were doomed if they didn't do anything, Gwen immediately thought of transforming, but recognized that without an opening creating a Power ball would weaken her, and although a mighty attack by the amount of ki, throwing the power ball to the androids wouldn't cut it do to their immense strength, leaving her drained and she wouldn't have the time to do this if Trunks couldn't help her, she felt it defeat near by and death as a follow up she was mentally about to surrender, and then she saw Trunks fighting to the last stand giving it his all, although sustaining heavy injuries, -NO i can't surrender like this, for the prince and for Vegeta we must avenge them!- she then had it in her head, she threw attacks to the ground to make a smoke wall between them and the new Z warriors, she then told Trunks

-Trunks this is your fight to win, then i'll give you everything i can to you to win this avenge the fallen and save the woorld!- she yelled extending her gloved hand and a weird aura surrounded both, she was giving Trunks her energy to the fullest, he felt replenished and a bit stronger, with strong emotions he knew this was the time, he powered up even more, to a point he got bulkier and again like his fight versus Gwen, he had surpassed again the super saiyan level and with this power he charged an attack and yelled

-ANDROIIDS, you have terrorized this earth long enough it is time to pay now for all of humanity MASENKOO!- #17 felt confident he took head on the attack and made his on blast to return to kill Trunks, what he didn't count was the sheer amount of power it had and how it surpassed him by a mile, he got overwhelmed and engulfed in the attack, getting completely vaporized and killed, #18 reacted with extreme fear, thinking about how grim this situation was for her she decided to run away, throwing multiple attacks with all her might to create an opening to escape, for our heroes due to their conditions and the initiative taken by #18, they knew they couldn't chase her right now and had to let her escape, but they will recover and hunt her down eventually, but for now that was not the focus

-You did Trunks, you defeated them, and saved this planet i'm glad…- Gwen said happily even though she was in a poor condition and tired, Trunks then responded

-No, we did it, all of us, you, the survivors and the ones who sacrificed their lives, we did it together and it was the only way- then mentally Trunks said something in his mind -We did it master Gohan, mom…- he teared up a bit, before feeling a hand in in his shoulder who was it he didn't notice but his natural reaction was a smile, and it was time to go back home and rest with the job done.

Chapter 10

While returning to Capsule Corp, both Gwen and Trunks noticed many survivors looking at them and starting to cheer, they already knew what had transpired and that the androids were finally defeated (partially), but deep down they knew they wouldn't ever return much less attack them, some approached our heroes and asked for their names and started spreading the word around of the ones who have saved them specifically the man that gave them the finishing blow and that was Trunks, our heroes had finally won.

Sometime passed around 8 months and there was no sign of an android attack, they had hunted #18 and looked for her but she was well hidden, and without ki trace this was almost an impossible task, they had for a while now focused more on training than looking for their missing enemy, knowing that it was a better usage of time and their actions, and then an idea hit Trunks

-Hey for a while this world has been unprotected and left for dead, but now with a whole rebuilding going on this the most crucial time- he then continued

-What if we create a defense force for humanity with the survivors? A return to the Z warriors that defended this planet from the saiyans and other invaders- Gwen looked at Trunks with a narrow eye

-Sorry, not all saiyans, but what do you say?-

-Hmm i guess it's an interesting idea, although it's obvious they wouldn't be as strong as us, they could aid us just like the stories you've told me about your predecessor defenders, let's do it then- she responded and then followed up

-But you should be the one to do this, as your are their savior and have the most amount of popularity and sympathy within humans- Trunks agreed and proceeded to talk in public, people cheered him and loved him, but going down to the message not many were interested and wanted to take part, risking your life after surviving all of that, this put Trunks in a down mood, and was ready to give up, suddenly a girl about his age appeared, long black hair and black eyes and very familiar to him, she initiated the conversation by saying:

-Um, hey were you looking for people to help you in a defense force?- quickly Trunks responded

-Um, yes yes, hi i… i'm Trunks probably heard of me from a few time back hehe- Trunks blabbered quite nervous, then a thought him and he remembered that face, before when he faced the androids during all those years, he got a memory of an android attack in islands between the west capital and north capital, this happened a bit before Bulma's death, and there he saw, a girl with the same factions as the one that stood right now in front of him, he remembered how she saved a good amount of kids and elderly people by leading them towards an escape path and after the vivid memory he decided to speak

-I remember you, you were that teen girl who helped all those people escape from certain death from the androids in that island- this surprised her and instantly she responded nervously

-Oh you were there that day?! What a coincidence haha yeah, i saw them in that situation and decided that i needed to act and save them, it's like something inside of me took control and i needed to do it- Trunks smiled to these words he then, responded extending his hand

-I don't need to know anything else, you're in welcome to this new force for the defense of earth- he said while smiling, she proceeded to shake the extended hand smiled too

-Thank you-

-We'll meet tomorrow at Capsule Corp in the west capital, if you don't know where it is i can give you the instructions to arrive-

-No, don't worry i know where CC is i'll meet you there i think i'll arrive at noon and probably will bring a friend that is interested if it's ok-

-Oh ok no problem, may i ask, what is your name?- Trunks asked

They both smiled to each other and Trunks returned knowing that he achieved something, he went to Capsule Corp to share the good news and wait the arrival of probably new friends.
