Chapter 11
The day went by quickly and it was time a bit after midday of that following day had arrived and Trunks was nervous and with expectancy and someone behind him broke the tense silence
-Are you sure they're coming, because if i were human i wouldn't be interested in fighting and risking myself just for the sake of it- said with a mocking tone Gwen who was wearing casual outfit with a blouse and fancy pants skirt and everything (yes she's very self concerned about looks), another thing was that her tail was tucked inside her clothes for Trunks' sake as he warned about it to not scare or surprise the new allies, she wasn't so sure about it but ended up agreeing
-I'm sure, something told me that this is not gonna disappoint- just as he said that a bell rang in CC, he opened and saw two visitors it was Mai and her friend that she had told him before, he greeted them and lead them inside the rebuilding complex, a lot of the structure was damaged from all this years of torture but some were recovering real fast and that surprised the two girls, and then Trunks spoke
-So… this is your friend, you don't look that much alike but share some of your looks are similar like hair color or skin hehe- said Trunks trying to break the ice, this wasn't successful but Mai tried to salvage a bit the situation as they arrived at the main hall
-Yeah, we met a while ago doing both, well trying to do heroic stuff when those stupid androids attacked and i decided to tell her about this and here we are!- Trunks looked towards the other girl's reaction and she was a bit stoic and skeptical, she had the same hair color as Mai black, but had in a long braid that reached her back, she was light skinned just as Mai and with some differences in factions and especially in the eyes with contrasted differences one being black and the other light blue, the other girl then spoke
-Yeah well, we better get to business here, i didn't come for nothing- Mai then shot her fierceful eyes like a sign to say "shut up" to her friend
-Oh ok then let's do this but before why don't you tell us your name to get acquainted- Trunks said with amability
-Videl, my name's Videl- said the girl with a dry tone
-ook Videl so now to what we are here for, after the defeat of the androids one of them escaped and is our mission to track that android and put an end to all of this- Videl looked skeptical and a thoughtful, before someone interrupted their conversation abruptly
-Well well may i say that if i couldn't detail you any better i'd guess that you are a saiyan- said a voice coming from behind them, Videl turned back and there she saw, a woman with a very peculiar look, purple hair, twin pigtails, both being big ringlets, standing in a wall with a overconfident pose
-You posses the mental strength and spirit of one although you lack strength but still impressively close to a saiyan overall-
-Oh let me introduce you to the other fighter that helped me take down the androids, this is Gwen- said Trunks in introductory mode
-Nice to meet you all, as you seem quite determined and ready to help on this plan of Trunks'- she said, getting a response from Mai
-Nice to meet you too, i'm Mai and this is Videl and we're glad to help you out on this mission-
-Alright now to some possible locat- Trunks was leading before getting cut off
-Hey i don't really know about this, i'm not sold on all of this being true and this supposed mission as well as that woman seems extremely suspicious to me, saying some weird nonsense before and everything- Videl interrupted abruptly, Gwen then laughed the tension off and proceeded to respond
-You seem quite a skeptical girl-
-You're damn right-
-Oh ok i get it, well then let us show the veracity of everything-
-Pfff as if- said Videl in an apathetic tone
-Videl! Stop!- Mai responded quickly annoyed
-No, don't worry i got the perfect solution for this standoff, let's make this bet, if we manage to surprise you and make us believe you immediately must join us and help without causing problems, if you win you can leave here without doing anything and also call us fakes in front of everyone discrediting us even about the androids- said Gwen challenging her non believer rival
-Fair- said rapidly the girl, everyone in the room was silent and shocked, then came another response with a totally upswinging tone almost like singing
-Alriight, then let us begin!-.
Chapter 12
-First a bit of context for you so you may have better understanding of everything, Trunks and i are not fellow humans like you or your friend, we come from an extinct warrior race known as the "Saiyans", we conquered many worlds and were fit for combat, we have capabilities beyond any of you humans and we have some anatomic differences with your species too- Gwen started to tell
-And you expect me to believe that without proof? Just like that- Gwen closed the distance with Videl, she got very close, Videl started to retract thinking this mad girl will hit her, Trunks also was now alert and out of precaution said loudly
-Gwen! No stop!-
-What?, i was just gonna show this human my tail-
-Tail? And you expect me to believe that, you're crazy-
-Ok Gwen you can do it- said then Trunks apologetically, Mai then went blank and started to remember the events that transpired during Dragon Ball and remembered that weird tailed boy and everything that happened, then it all clicked for her, but she went completely silent and stunned. Meanwhile Gwen then got close to Videl, then turned her back towards her, Videl felt weird and sickened by this, but then it hit her, sprouting from her lower back a moving object, it was a long light brown furry tail, almost like it was a monkey's one, she saw it coil and move dancing around with snake like movements, then it twitched up and down, faster and slower movements, and after a while, she saw it pick up form like a belt, and wrap around the woman's waist
-You see, a tail-
-it it could be a trick, could be fake or attached weirdly- after that Gwen freed her tail again, moving it quickly towards Videl and touching her left arm and hand then wrapping it around her arm for her to feel, scaring her to death and her being nervous, while she giggled and as quickly as it was there, it back again retracted towards her body and wrapped itself nicely around her waistline, holding her laughter seeing a disturbed Videl then she asked her
-Enough for you?-
-Genetic mutation! that surely must be it!- Videl said loudly like convincing herself, Gwen sighed and said
-Well now to the second thing, i'll call my pod here with my remote in my room-
-Pod?- Gwen quickly went to her room and returned with a weird remote
-Is what you humans call spaceship-
-As if that thing exists, you're again joking although the weird tail i'll give you that, but this is suurely too far!- after a couple of minutes a loud noise came from the front, and there it was a weird spherical object with a retractable door that just opened
-Go in for a ride my dear!- said Gwen happily,
-That, a spaceship? No way- after hesitating, Videl a bit confused and scared entered the object, and it was more spacious than she thought and the door closed itself, and she felt everything move upwards, then something broke the silence
-Don't worry i'll be controlling the ship from the ground and using the communicator to not stress you out-
-Ok…- Videl responded timidly, the machine flew for a while, or at least she felt that, then it stopped suddenly
-We've reached the right altitude and we are now out of orbit, now i'll turn the transparency ok so you can see the whole panorama clearly- then as she said the whole thing went transparent like water and it revealed space and a clear view of the earth
-Like what you see dear?- said Gwen with a joking tone again giggling
-Thi this could be a façade!, yes a green screen or something! Replicating the view from space!- said Videl quite agitated and coping
-Hmm i could throw ki attacks to show you it's not that- then came another voice
-NO! That is too dangerous- it was Trunks speaking
-Urgh, i can't make it spin or do movements because that could be a simulation too, neither can we land her on a nearby moon, because there are none, i guess this won't cut it-
-We better return you then and then decide again- after those words Videl felt herself going downward and after a couple of minutes it stood still and the door opened again.
Chapter 13
After being back the 3 reunited and Mai went to take a break outside, back again in Capsule Corp and Gwen got to thinking again, she stood silent and pensative for a while, then while fiddling with one of her pigtails she spoke and sighed
-Urgh, i guess there is no other choice to convince you than going a bit drastic, oh well! Better get dressed up and going-
-Wait where are you going and what are you going to do?- said Trunks
-Well first let's get her there, Videl right? Would you enter my pod again?, i'll go get dressed and you'll travel there to not waste time ok?- she complied and went in and immediately the thing was off
-Then what are you going to do Gwen?- Trunks
-Isn't a bit obvious?, i'm gonna show her an Oozaru-
-Are you sure about this?-
-Absolutely, although inconvenient, but i will love to see a human react to that, and don't worry nothing's gonna happen but it might take a while so wait here with your guest and wait, alright?-
-Ok i guess- then both parted ways.
Minutes passed, and Videl arrived in a dessert with canyons, it wasn't much time after as she heard taps on the floor behind her, and saw the weird tailed woman, she was now dressed weirdly with that weird furry belt, gloves, boots and a kind of breastplate and armor, golden shoulderpads, and golden skirt or it seemed like it, while the main colors of it where violet and white, then she broke silence to the arms crossed woman in front of her
-This is weird, but i must compliment your clothes, besides the weirdness they match well with you and look fairly formal- Gwen grinned wide to this comment and responded excited
-Oh dear! Thank you! Although that is true i chose this specifically for the spandex on this occasion, but i also love the touches i gave to my formal and battle gear-
-Well let's not waste as i have somethings to do later and get to the point, although first i must ask for your attention to the fullest as you will see this only once-
-As i told you saiyans are aliens and made for battle, and we hold another difference with humans as we have a transformation whenever we see a full moon, that's all you need to know the rest spoils the surprise- Videl then responded
-Sucks for you as this planet has no moons, i guess that was what you were expecting but knowing this now, seems like you're toasted- Gwen smirked towards this comments, and proceeded to open one of her gloved hands, quickly it emitted a light and a white ball appeared making loud noises, Gwen extended her hand towards Videl, she then touched it and it burned her finger, Gwen giggled at this and talked again
-Well i must ask you to stay a bit away and look at the sky while covering most of your eyes please, now the fun will come- Videl did as she was told, after that and with assurance Gwen motioned forward and threw ball deep in the sky, she opened her palm wide and then yelled loudly
-Power ball burst open, split and mix!- (she knew this time it had a purpose to make it flashy), just as she said this a massive explosion took place in the sky irradiating light everywhere almost blinding, after it calmed down a massive white ball could be seen in the sky, although far away it was big and noticeable, Videl was about to ask what was she supposed to see, when she looked at Gwen looking fixated at it starting to tremble, scaring her, she grew a snout, her tail was now waving freely and growing, as well as her body, her eyes turning red, and everything just growing after it ended Videl just saw, a gigantic gorilla in front of her and then it roared loudly, she was shocked and paralyzed in fear, then the ape extended its arms grabbing her, she didn't know what to do, ready for her end, she closed her eyes and waited for the beast to kill her quickly but what she got is something she never expected, she heard, a giant laughter out of the thing grabbing her and then heard another shocking thing
-Hahaha like what you see human Videl, this is my transformation- said with a deep voice the ape
-you you you are a giant monkey!- She exclaimed agitated, Gwen just kept laughing at those comments moving her giant tail around and deciding to sit, Videl though couldn't take it and fainted, when Gwen noticed that she had lost consciousness she put her down in a safe spot extended one oh her gloved paws and blasted out the Power ball in the sky, reverting to her base form, then both returned to Capsule Corp.
Chapter 14
Videl opened her eyes and awoke a bit disturbed and a little nervous, then she heard a familiar voice
-Oh hi nice that you're awake now! That means i no longer have to check on you- she looked to her right that woman she met earlier full of surprises, Videl almost naturally reacted and said
-YOU! You turned into a giant monkey!- Gwen couldn't do anything else than giggle and said
-Correction, i turned into an Oozaru, we're much more than monkeys in our transformed states, and saying it like that- then Trunks rushed into the room to ask Videl how was she feeling and Mai who also stayed at Capsule Corp also checked on her worried, Videl then kept inquiring and really curious
-But… How? You said you needed a moon for the transformation, earth has none, how did you do that?- Gwen with a smile responded
-I guess you're not that observative, i used a technique a white energy ball that you saw and touched that burned your finger- Videl remembered it in that moment that thing burned her finger, Gwen continued the explanation
-What i used is called a "Power ball", it's a technique used to replicate the full moon that emits Blutz waves, a radiation needed for the form-
-So that means that you can transform at any time you want? Just like that?-
-That's right- said the saiyan with a cheerful tone
-If that's true then why haven't you taken over the earth and attacked us?, with all that power at disposal no one could stand in your way- Gwen then responded calmly
-It's simple, i'm not like that personality wise, and the second one if at anytime i decide to try that Trunks is ready to defeat me and i wouldn't win, although i must say is quite handy to have this at my disposal, also with what happened that means you lost the bet, and now you must join us- sighing and responding
-Yeah, you're right i'll do so and concede defeat, i guess it's up to you now- this cheered Trunks he was ready to explain details, but Gwen was musing and very disturbed, fiddling again one of her pigtails, and now unwrapping and wrapping her tail constantly, not long after she decided to speak up what's in her mind

-Not only that but i must exercise in the form, that means destroying by using my extremities not ki, but don't worry, here on earth there are a lot of good peaceful places to do this unlike other places- they all sighed internally a bit
-It's mostly for body stress relief, not lose control at transforming and avoiding personality changes like abrupt mood swings and more incorrect conducts, also comes with breathing exercises and muscular training including the tail, all very boring stuff but needed, knowing now that my tail is not coming off or getting cut this is a must-
-To conclude i won't be effective right now hunting that android, i'm sorry but in any case you need my help you know to contact me- Videl quickly responded
-I could help you! I know a lot about breathing and muscle relaxation moves, although wi with the other stu stuff i cannot help you much hehehehehehe!- she ended up noticing something in that last part of the comment that got her thinking, but before she could say anything, Trunks talked
-Well, i guess it's settled Gwen you and Videl will focus on your health and wellbeing, while Mai and I hunt #18 traveling around the world- it seemed all of them were in agreement on this
-All of us let's rest and get on our own way we have missions to fulfill, and not let down the citizens of this world- a loud stomach growl was heard, all a bit flustered Videl spoke
-Hey um Gwen, just for knowing a bit and you know, do you eat humans in your transformation?!- asked Videl a bit tense
-Hmm, no that's not a usual action i think. due to nutritional values, although transforming does calm hunger- Videl sighed with relief before receiving another comment
-Althouuugh, in a situation of hunger like right now i wouldn't rule out throwing a cutie ball in the sky and eating a couple humans to calm it down- this turn the alarms on for Videl as she rushed to the kitchen instantly, while the rest of them just laughed about it.
Chapter 15
The next day had arrived and both parties said farewells to each other knowing it would be a while until they see again
-Goodbye and get healthy and stronger so than when we find that damned android we destroy it my esteemed friend- started Trunks then with a smile he got his response
-Goodbye to you too, and to have luck in your side so you may find that beast and eradicate it my prince- they hugged and waved goodbye, so did Videl and Mai saying their goodbyes, and then they went off (we'll start for a while with Gwen and Videl as their story is the one that will get developments first chronologically).
Both Gwen and Videl entered the main hall of CC, Gwen dressed again in her armor and asked Videl
-You're not weirded out by the outfit right?-
-As i said it looks formal and it matches you- gwen smiled at the comment and then proceeded to tell the plan
-Trunks told me of an oasis island not far from here in the south west it's a bit separated from the continent but it'll do as it has few animals and live while being good for staying-
-Yeah i know of that place it's kinda far a bit seems good-
-Well let's get going, take my pod it has the coordinates already and i will send it in auto pilot to go and we'll meet there-
-And how are you going there?-
-Flying, a big obvious- this didn't shock Videl anymore who has seen things far more ridiculous and believed it. The both went off as agreed and met in the island, a new discussion took place
-Well this is a nice place to start for both, let's get to your part first- then Videl asked confused
-My part? We came here for your recovery and training-
-That is true but i also had a secret motive too and that is your training as well, i appreciate your help but you need go get this abilities as a must too, flying, sensing energy or better called as "ki", and utilizing it are the basics you will learn out of this experience-
-That seems hard and complex, what if i don't wanna do it or give up?-
-I was hoping you would say that, if you do that then i will transform and hunt you down like a prey-
-WHAT?!-
-It will benefit us both and with that motivation results will be made i'm sure, and also is not negotiable it's final just as according to our bet-
-Ok…-
-Let's get started first with the most basic that will be energy or ki sensing, every living being is composed of vital energy called "ki", some of us have learned to sense it and utilize it and that will be your first task, for that you must meditate close your eyes, and feel your surroundings-, Videl started doing what was asked and thanks to her previous Yoga and other breathing and mental preparation she had as a child, she was grasping it quickly it seemed like she was about to get it and Gwen also knew, until it stopped, her sensing off she retried, and then came the third and fourth tries, then she spoke
-Seems like i'm off right now i can't seem to fully get it, but i have the idea-
-I haven't told you to stop yet, continue looking for you ki please-
-But Gwen as i told you i can't for this kind of stuff i need to clear my head and get it fully empty, then i'll return to it and get it the first time i'm sure-. Gwen didn't say a word, she stood up from where she was sitting walked a bit to the side, uncrossed her arms, and raised one gloved hand with an open hand, she powered it up generating a Power ball, before doing anything Videl spoke nervously
-But Gwen i didn't give up! I just need a refocus to do it better that's all!-, Gwen didn't comply motioned forward threw the ball to the sky, and opened and closed her fist without saying much only a bit of an effort "HA! that was heard coming from her, after that a shining light illuminated the island Videl covered her eyes and after that there she saw in the sky again that white moon ball thing again, then she heard some scary but words said in an uplifting/singing tone
-Let's put to test that theory of yours of yesterday shall we? Let's see if an Oozaru gets a benefit after eating humans- she then looked at the ball in the sky, Videl knew what was about to happen and trembling in fear she ran, ran and ran and ran, she hid in the forest then in a mountain cave, she heard a roar, and then a yell at her with a deep voice
-It's useless to run Videl, i'm faster stronger more agile and most importantly… can track where you are- She didn't believe that, it was to intimidate her but not long after, hearing giant footsteps near by she got scared and then it, BANG!, a giant gloved fist hit the mountain a bit to the side of where she was destroying part of it, then another punch from the other fist, the cave was collapsing, then she heard as rocks were being kicked, and the beast roared again, she got out and started to run and saw the gigantic Oozaru in front of her grinning wide, she ran again using the trees getting inside the forest, what she didn't expect was for the beast to be faster and more agile and catching up to her and the jumping in front of her cutting her getaway, Videl didn't know what to do, she reacted out of adrenaline sliding in between the giant legs and skirt, only to be remembered of the feats of this thing by getting whipped by the massive tail and getting knocked back to a tree, then the tail wrapped around her body, trapping her and she got lifted to one of the hands who now held her, she saw the face of her hunter grinning, she got licked by the tongue multiple times, she trembled and when she was about to enter the mouth of the beast by force she fainted.
