Plot

After Peter Parker / Spider-Man discovers the true identity of the Green Goblin is his best friend Harry Osborn's father, Norman, a distracted Peter is hit by Norman's Goblin glider, killing him.[a] Norman takes Parker's dead body back to his house, upsetting Harry, who Norman throws a pumpkin bomb at. Harry is thrown back by the room and Norman leaves, cackling. Meanwhile, Harry discovers Norman's secret Goblin room and takes the Goblin serum, having wanted revenge for Peter's murder. Meanwhile, Norman returns to the Brooklyn Bridge, intending to kill Mary Jane Watson as Harry arrives, saving her. Harry takes Mary Jane to safety as he and Norman fight. Harry defeats Norman and brings him to justice, taking him to jail. The next day, Harry and Norman's secret identities are revealed to the public via The Daily Bugle, as well as the revelation that Spider-Man is dead and that Peter was Spider-Man.
