Ch. 1 - The Quad
I hear that there is new student coming to nevermore. It all that everyone is talking about. Everyone is saying that she got kicked out of her last school for killing some people. I don't know if it is true or not. Outcast maybe scary, but we rarely are in the position where we hurt humans. I walk up to find Xavier, he is in the middle of painting a mural in the school's quad.
"Dude, do you believe all these rumors, about the new girl."
"I don't think so, Ajax the last time an outcast student killed someone has been at least decade. I don't thinks Weems would like a smudge on her record."
"I wonder what type of outcast she is. Siren, Vamp, Were, she is probably not a gorgon."
"You are about to find out there is Enid. She is probably going to give her the tour.
I look across the quad, see blond hair with colorful streaks. I walk over to Enid, and she turns to look at me.
"Yo, Enid! You're not gonna believe the dirt I heard about your new roommate. She eats human flesh. Chowed down on that kid she murdered. You better watch your back. " Enid moves out of the way, and behind her is a girl completely in black & white.
"Quite the contrary. I actually fillet the bodies of my victims, then feed them to my menagerie of pets." "Ajax, this is my new roommate, Wednesday."
"Whoa. You're in black and white. Like a real life Instagram filter.
One of my snake peeks out from underneath my caps. Wednesday moves her hand towards it, and I go to stop her, but when she makes contact, I feel a sensation go through my body. My breath hitches. No one other than my family has ever touched my snakes before. Usually people are afraid of them.
"Nice to meet you Wednesday, I have to go."
Ch. 2 – The Boy's Dorm
I run back to my room, my heart and blood pulsing, my snake shifting and hissing under my cap. Making sure that my siren roommate, Kent is around, I take off my cap. My snakes start speaking to each other. There is a lot of history about gorgons, but there are some secrets, we keep to ourselves. Anything my snakes see, I can see too. We kind off share the same brain. I mostly use it to cheat on tests.
"Guys stop it, why are you all going so wild."
Snakes: "Because you may have meet your mate, the one person, who cannot be turned to stone by our gaze."
"What! Why have I never heard about this?"
Snakes: "Because it very rare amongst gorgons to find their mate. Since gorgons have an extended life, their mate usually dies before, they can be found."
"And you think that this mate, my mate is Wednesday."
Snakes: "Yes, and when you and her mate completely her life span will match yours."
"This is insane." I go to my dresser drawer and take out a pre-roll. This day is too much, I am going to have to call my parent. I might need a few more of these.
Ch. 3 – The Pentagon
Wednesday's POV
The perky ball of sunshine is showing me around Nevermore. This school will be easier to escape from, the Great Aunt Greta's maze of horror. Who fills there moat with nonpoisonous snakes. I look around the pentagon, seeing the diverse range of outcast.
"My vlog is, like, the number one source for Nevermore gossip."

A snake peeks from under his cap. He is a Gorgon. I stick my hand out, and scratches the under head of the snake. Snakes are one of my favorite animals, the more poisonous the better. As my finger makes contact with the snake, a warm sensations moves up my finger. This strange snakes are cold- blooded, and from my book of outcast the rest of a gorgon's body is warm blooded. So, where did this heat come from? At least if I stuck here, I have a little mystery to solve.
"Nice to meet you Wednesday, I have to go."
"Ignore him. That gorgon spends way too much time getting stoned."
New Characters
Rami Malek … Harmon Petropolus He is over 200 years old, and a full naga. He became a guard for Korina, after meeting her at Nevermore, and now he is a very famous writer & director. As a guard, he is trained in all fighting types, from all over the world.
He has 6 brothers and they are septuplets. And they are identical, which is normal for a naga.
Michelle Trachtenberg … Korina Petropolus She is over 400 years old, and a full gorgon. She was a princess, in older greece, now she is the top paid actress in Hollywood.
She is in Forbes top 10 most richest people in the world. She used her stoning ability to freeze and unfreeze people like in cryogenics.
Petropolus is her family name, so her husband took her last name.
Georgie Farmer ... Alecto Petropolus He is 16 just like Ajax. Because of their dad's partial naga genes, he is a is a part of identical quadruplets, instead of septuplets. He is the oldest of the quadruplets.
He is the most mature, and goes to an outcast school in Greece, and spends all his time researching the history of Gorgon and nagas. which makes him an expert.
Ch. 4 – Ajax Phone Home
After lighting up, I pick up to call my parents.
My mom picks up on Space-time. "Ajax, what are you doing calling me during school time. You should be concentrating on your studies."
"I know mom, but I have some big news. There is a new girl at the school." Before I can finish my dad grabs the phone from her.
"Oh really son, you know I met you mom at Nevermore. She being the only gorgon, me being the only naga. "
"I know dad."
"So, tell us about her. What type of outcast is she?"
"I don't know and it doesn't matter. When I met her, she touched one of my snakes, and they started going crazy." I look at my parents and their eyes bulge open, and their breaths get caught in their throats.
"That's interesting bud, we have to go." Says Dad.
"No, I saw that look, my snakes told me that she is my mate. How could the both of you not tell me that there was a chance of this happening?"
My mom says, "Because a gorgon meeting their soulmate is quite rare Ajax. Your father and I not even soul mates. How do you feel?"
"I don't know. Having someone who I won't have to worry about freezing, especially when my powers come into full maturity. What do you think I should do?"
My dad says, "Whatever you want bud, you can ignore the bond or fulfil it, or won't hurt either of you not to. If you decide to fulfil it, you powers will grow faster, and you will grow closer to each other, and she will begin to absorb the aging attributes of a gorgon. If you decide not to the bond, just mellow, and you both can move on and fall in love with others. It is up to you. "
I can only choke out, "Wow."
