From the cargo hold, Heather was infuriated at what happened today, their team may have won the challenge but at the cost of her face being bruised and losing a tooth. The next time she saw Leshawna she would pay for this massacre.
The reason she was in the cargo hold was due to the fact Courtney and Gwen would not stop laughing at her "new look" and Cody and Sierra's creepy tango was enough of an eyesore without her swollen eye.
She was currently trying to put some makeup on her face to cover her bruises, but it wasn't very effective right now much to her annoyance.
"You need some alone time too…" She heard a familiar shy voice ask curiously as she looked in her hand mirror. She didn't need to look up to know who it was.
"Couldn't handle anymore of Sierra's coddling I see?" Heather asked with a deadpan look towards Cody.
"I'm sure all of you know that I do not like it." Cody rolled his eyes at Heather before gaining a remorseful look, "Sorry about that, it's been a tough day, and I'm sure you've had one as well."
"Don't remind me. The next time I see Leshawna, she is going to get it." Heather grumbled furiously.
"You won't be seeing her anytime soon. I saw everyone in loser class, she got eliminated." Cody informed the Queen Bee before sighing, "You honestly didn't deserve that. You didn't even do anything this time."
Heather was surprised to hear that come from Cody, surprised to hear someone actually cared about her misfortune before scoffing, "Whatever. I'll live. Need to focus on staying in the game and all."
Cody had to admit, Heather kinda had a point. With such a target on her back, Heather definitely needed to watch her back.
Then again… how safe was Cody in this team anyway?
Cody had to think back, he wasn't exactly the most popular guy on the team. He and Courtney did not get along and Gwen seemed to be annoyed by him lately, though looking back at his flirting attempts, he could see why. Maybe he should lay off on her a bit.
But either way, Cody had to think about his safety in this game. Once Heather was gone, where did that leave him?
Courtney could surely vote him out and despite his friendship with Gwen, she seemed more loyal to Courtney at the end of the day which honestly kinda broke the geek's heart to be honest. So that would leave two votes against him, and he doubted he could beat Courtney in a tiebreaker even with his and Sierra's votes.
Cody's eyes widened when he realized this, he didn't know what to do? He was so screwed if his team lost more than once, and given how late the teams merge that's a pretty good chance, even if Team Victory gets wiped out. Soon Cody's eyes fell on the Queen Bee again and had an epiphany, he wasn't screwed just yet. Heather was still in the game, and a tie had yet to be possible, maybe he could work with this.
"What are you staring at?" Heather asked with a raised eyebrow.
Gwen was probably going to kill him for this.
"Look, I've been thinking…" Cody began timidly.
"Hm, sometimes that can be good, sometimes that can be bad." Heather spoke teasingly, earning a glare from Cody before he continued.
"I feel like the two of us are on the bottom of this team but if you're willing to align with me… maybe we could get Courtney eliminated…" Cody gulped nervously.
Heather looked at Cody as if to analyze the geek, she certainly wasn't expecting this and she'd be lying if she said it didn't impress her a little.
"Fine, deal. Just try not to piss off Sierra too much by flirting with Gwen. I'd prefer for this not to go down to a tie." Heather shook Cody's hand to which the geek nodded at, let's just hope he didn't regret this.
Back near the confessional, Noah was furious. He could be in first class lying in luxury right now but nooooooooooo, Alejandro just had to ruin that by throwing the challenge. Yes, he knew that Alejandro threw that fight with Sierra, he wasn't an idiot but the question was why would he do that?!
So when he saw Alejandro had gone to the confessional, he decided to follow the Spaniard along the way until they were far enough to reach the confessional when he made his presence known, "I know you threw that fight with Sierra."
Alejandro's eyes widened, how did Noah know about him throwing the challenge? He shook it off and composed himself, he had to do some damage control on the situation.
"Look, I get we weren't gonna get sent to elimination given Leshawna's outburst, but why did you have to keep us from being in first class?" Noah asked incredulously.
"It was all strategy my good friend." Alejandro explained with a nonchalant smirk, if only to hide the nervousness he was truly harboring.
"What strategy? What do you possibly gain from throwing the challenge?!" Noah scoffed indignantly.
"I'm merely trying to throw Heather off." Alejandro explained coolly which Noah raised an eyebrow at. Seeing this, Alejandro continued to elaborate, "Heather is one of the most deceitful players in this game. If I eliminate her, the game becomes a lot easier for all of us. Me throwing the challenge will obviously leave her flustered and confused, vulnerable enough for her team to eliminate her next time they lose."
"With all due respect," Noah rolled his eyes before saying, "Heather is hardly the biggest threat here, not enough to throw challenges for."
"I understand your point. I will prevent myself from throwing anymore challenges." Alejandro sighed before nodding.
"Thank you." Noah breathed out a sigh of relief before walking off and muttering under his breath, "But I'll be watching you." He spoke silently, whether Alejandro heard him or not, he didn't care.
Alejandro had to admit, he was impressed that Noah had caught onto his tricks but that was a motivation to keep his head in the game. He could not afford to get voted off. And like Noah, Alejandro would be keeping an eye on the bookworm.
