Izuku was busy sweating bullets as sat at the dining room table because across from him sat his Omega, and he was fuming. He hadn't said anything yet, but there was no reason for Izuku to doubt that his Omega was upset with him. His face was void of emotion and he was wearing scent patches so that Izuku couldn't smell his emotions, leaving him spinning into a panic to try and remember what he did wrong.

They ate their meal quietly and it was making the Alpha even more anxious. He wasn't sure what to say or ask without setting off Katsuki without it ending up with him sleeping on the couch again. He hates not being able to sleep next to his Omega, it always makes him anxious, and he always wakes up with a headache and feeling restless.

When he heard the sound of a plate scraping across the table, he looked up to see that the Omega was getting up without so much as a single word to him. This was unusual for Katsuki, usually by the time they were done eating, he would start scolding Izuku for whatever it was he had done wrong or forgotten.

Panic started to rise up from his gut, almost choking his throat. He immediately stood up as well, his plate forgotten on the table to reach for the Omegas hand before he could leave. "Kacchan, what's wrong? Why haven't you said anything?"

"Nothing." He hissed out softly. The blonde then shrugged off the Alphas hand and stormed to the kitchen, Izuku hot on his tail.

He stood next to Katsuki as he was busy packing leftovers in containers. "You can't tell me nothing is wrong when I can clearly tell that you are upset with me. So please, tell me what it is so that I may fix it."

Katsuki's shoulders bunched up as he rested his hands against the kitchen counter. Izuku couldn't see his face and he felt blind to what was going on. The next moment Kacchan turned around and grabbed the vase with flowers that he had gotten him yesterday from the counter and threw it at the Alpha.

As soon as he saw the flowers coming his way, he ducked in time for the vase to crash against the wall behind him. "Kacchan!" He whipped his head back to see that his Omega had tears in his eyes, barely contained rage simmering in his expression. "Do you want me!?"

The question threw Izuku for a loop. Was Kacchan seriously asking him this? "Of course I want you Kacchan, why would you ask me that? What did I do wrong?" His mind raced as he tried to think back to see if at any point that he gave the Omega any reason to think that way, but nothing came to mind.

Katsuki stood there with his fists clenched at his sides, the tears finally falling from his eyes to cascade down his cheeks. "Then why haven't you asked me then? It's been six years since we started courting, three since we moved in together. Do you not want to? Am I not good enough for you?"

The Alpha took a tentative step forward, pumping out calming pheromones to try and calm down his Omega. "Kacchan, what haven't I asked you? I don't understand." As soon as he was a foot away from him, he slowly reached out and took Katsuki's wrists in his hand, rubbing soothingly at the scent glands there, grateful that the Omega didn't pull away this time. "And you know that you are much too good for me, I know I don't deserve you. You are absolutely amazing Kacchan, you are worth far more than I am."

The next moment Katsuki looked up at his Alpha with an incredulous look on his face. "Is that why you don't want to marry and mate me then? Because you think I'm too good for you?"

Izuku's mouth dropped to the floor in shock. Kacchan thought he didn't want to marry and mate with him? The idea was preposterous. He quickly shook his head and with determination spoke his words in a solid croon. "Kacchan, I want to marry and mate you more than anything." The look on Katsuki's face was that of disbelief. "Just because I know I'm not worthy, I am also selfish and greedy, so I don't care and want that with you with all my heart."

Katsuki stood there with fragile hope in his heart, his hands unclenching only to wrap around the Alpha's. "Then why haven't you asked?"

He hesitated before saying the next thing, worried that he might have been wrong to hold onto what was said that night, but he felt he needed to clear up any misunderstanding. "The reason I haven't asked you was because I have been waiting for you to ask me, and now that I think about it, I should have realized that you most likely forgot about that night."

He took a deep breath before he spoke the next words. "The day we moved in together, we celebrated that step we put together, and we got a little wasted, but I do remember what you told me that night, I will never forget it because it made me feel as though my heart would explode."

He pulled one hand up to cup the Omega's cheek, gently rubbing his thumb over his cheek bone. "That night you told me…No, more like shouted at me that you were going to propose to me, and that I couldn't because you were gonna do it better than me and you said that if I did it before you could, that you would blast me from here to kingdom come." He sighed. "That's why I have been waiting for you, why I haven't asked. I knew that I had to wait till you were ready, and I was starting to think that you didn't because I was unworthy."

The Omega stood there with his eyes wide, the tears still glistening down his cheeks. "De-Izuku…" He reached up and pulled the scent patch from his scent gland on his neck. The pheromones that billowed out made Izuku's knees wobble. It was the scent of happiness, content and want. "I'm sorry, I forgot." He looked down ashamed. "I remember it now that you reminded me, but I honestly thought it was some weird dream my mind concocted." He squeezed his eyes shut, a hiccup shaking his shoulders. "I'm so sorry Izuku."

Izuku pulled him into a hug, the relief that ran through him was palpable. "Shh it's okay Kacchan, I should have realized it on my own and asked you anyway. I had already bought your ring a year after we moved in here. I'm sorry Kacchan."

The Omega looked up to his Alpha with wonder and hope in his eyes. "You did?"

Izuku smiled. "Yes Kacchan, do you want me to go fetch it?"

Katsuki grabbed him by the collar of his chest. "Kiss me first."

The Alpha didn't question it, leaning down to connect their lips in a searing kiss, pulling Katsuki up by his thighs to place him on the counter, standing in between the Omega's legs. "I love you Kacchan, more than you will ever know." He whispered against lips.

"I love you too, Izuku, and you are more than good enough for me." He pressed forward to lick at the Alpha's lips to ask for entrance. When lips parted, the kiss became more heated, hands roaming to grab at soft skin and hard muscles.

Izuku pulled away, the Omega whining as he tried to chase lips. "Will you marry and mate me Kacchan?"

"Fuck yes!" He pulled the Alpha plush against him, kissing him with need. "Let's do it today, we have waited long enough."

"Anything for my Omega." The Alpha purred.
