Chapter 10: Surge of the Core

After the duel was finally over, Specter Knight lead us to the locked shed near the dueling area. Dark Acolyte was back in his building and he wanted to be alone for a while.
Specter Knight nodded and replied, "You are a really good duelist, young lady. Unlike that blowhard King Knight, I accept my loss and you do deserve everything inside."
He took a key from his pocket and slid it into the lock and quickly unlocked it and he replied, "Go inside and get what you deserve."
They nodded as he stepped aside and Manda walked in and saw the large treasure chest and then opened it up and inside was a key with Specter Knight's scythe connected to it like a key chain and they were two other cards and they were another effect monster and a Field Spell Card she never saw before and she grabbed everything and then the chest vanished from the room and she replied, "These two cards will make my deck better then ever before. I can't wait to smash through any duelist that gets in my way."
I smiled as I looked at her and replied, "You'll be just fine, Manda. Let's head back to the bunker."
She nodded as they all left the shed and the knight locked it back up and he nodded and replied, "You may of defeated me in this duel, but the next knight will be even stronger then I ever was. Good luck, kids."
They nodded as they all walked away and then he nodded and replied, "Time for some rest."

P.O.U.R. Bunker (Statue Room) / 4300pm
Back at the statue room, Lord Pridmoor and his sons were with us in the statue rooms. Malory was there to watch them as well.
Lord Pridmoor smiled and replied, "Manda, you have the best Fiend deck I've ever seen. We watched the duel from our dining area."
She smiled and then replied, "Thank you, sir. The cards I got from your vault really increased my deck's power to a higher level. I'm so happy with it now."
Malory replied, "You should be very proud of your dueled against that knight, my friend. Unlock the statue."
She nodded as she walked up to the Specter Knight statue and she placed the key into the statue and as she turned it around, the statue and began to light up with a glowing white light and then Riley smiled and replied, "Two down and seven more to go. Dad, we're on the right track to finally opening the way to her tower."
Pridmoor nodded and replied, "We sure are. You ladies take the rest of the day off and tomorrow, we'll look at the map and see where we're all off to next."
We nodded and then we all left the room and Malory sighed and replied, "We're getting closer and closer to finally facing her in a duel. I Can't wait to get to the tower."

Later on that night, Black Knight was looking at a large power station-like building about 5 miles north of the village and with him was the infamous Duel Spirit and he had glasses, horns in his forehead and he wore a black lab coat and everyone knew this was Kozaky (ATK: 400) and he was there as well.
The knight nodded and replied, "If they have no power to their village or bunker, they'll never find out where to head to next and our mission will just be about over."
The spirit then replied, "So all I have to do is shut their power station and stop them from getting it back on?"
The knight nodded and replied, "You do that and you'll be a higher member for the New Order, my fiendish friend."
"I always liked a challenge and this sounds like a great challenge for me, Black Knight. I'll do it."
The knight let out another laugh and the Fiend nodded and replied, "I see nothing wrong with that laugh of yours. I don't get why people hate it so much."
He looked at the scientist and replied, "You and I are going to be the best of allies soon. You should have no trouble getting in to the main area of the area, my friend. Good luck."
The knight vanished into black smoke and then the Fiend looked at the power station and he smiled evily and replied, "Time to stop their power surge!"
He started to run towards it.

About 5 minutes after entering it, he managed to get through each security field and was now inside of the main area that controlled the power station.
He nodded and replied, "Too darn easy to get through this area. Do they even care I'm this far?"
He looked at a computer in front of him and it said POWER LEVEL: NORMAL and below that it said POWER LINE TO VILLAGE AND BUNKER NO PROBLEMS AT THE MOMENT and he smiled evily and replied, "I just need to stop the power from entering that line and they'll be in the dark for a long time!"
He pushed a few buttons and then it said POWER SHOULD BE DOWN BY 5:00am and the Fiend smiled evily and replied, "Good luck getting to your map now, fools."

Back at the large black tower, Black Knight was telling them about his idea he just did.
The enchantress nodded and replied, "What a decent plan you both had, Knight. If this works out, they'll never get in without the power on."
"That's what we thought when we made this plan, madam."
"Well done and if this works out, we can send a crew over there to open up the area where those maps are and steal them back. It'll be a great plan. Just in case, does your friend have a decent deck of monsters?"
He nodded and replied, "Not as powerful as mine and yours, but it'll get the job done, Enchantress. Everything will go good."
"They better go good. This is our best chance to stop those kids. They already defeated King Knight and Specter Knight and they only have you and the other six knights left to face. Did you punish Specter Knight?"
"Sure did, mistress. He won't be leaving the Lich Yards for about 3 days now and that Dark Acolyte left before I can punish him as well. Should we hunt him down?"
"No, leave him be for now. He won't be a problem for us at all, Black Knight. Focus on the kids for now and if he does get be a pain, we'll send someone after him."
"As you wish, Enchantress."

That next morning inside of the dining area, We were waiting for breakfast to be served. They noticed that 50 percent of the lights were all out. Out walk in closets were still locked up and they couldn't get inside of them.
Jordan sighed and then replied, "What a morning this has been so far. We have no lights in our rooms and we're still in our pajamas."
The back door opened up and the Pridmoor sons walked in and they saw us and Riley nodded and replied, "Morning, kids."
I saw them and replied, "Where's your father?"
the youngest Pridmoor only sighed and replied, "With our tech guys in the Generator room right now. THe village and our bunker are powered off for some reason. The Knights may have something to do with this. Once we get the generator back on, we'll be able to enter certain rooms in our bunker again."
Suddenly, the lights went back on and Riley nodded and replied, "The lights in the rooms are back up now, so go ahead and get dressed and we'll go see dad about what's going on."
We all nodded and then we all got up and left.

About a half hour later, We finally in our regular clothes and were with Riley and Lord Pridmoor in the dining room.
The former lord then replied, "This is really troubling right now. The map and vault rooms are locked up and access to the kitchen is cut off as well. This isn't good."
"Who could of done this horrible thing, sir?", Manda asked in a concerned tone.
"I wish I could answer that one, my young friend. I really don't know myself."
The doors opened up and Malory ran in and she replied, "Sir, we know who do this to us."
"Who then?"
"We have a spy in the power building and inside is a Kozaky, a duel spirit who's boss is that Black Knight. I watched him defeat a knight of ours and he just got back to camp."
I then sighed and replied, "I should of known that would be the one! We need to stop him."
Jordan looked at her and replied, "Did he saw what deck that mad scientist used?"
"He said was a Koa'ki Meiru deck and it's one of the hardest decks to use in the game right now."
She only deeply sighed and then she looked at the others and replied, "I'll do the butt kicking in the duel. I want to take him down so badly. He'll pay for doing this."
I nodded and replied, "My deck would be wrecked by it anyway because of all the dark monsters I use anyway. The duel is all yours, hon."
Lord Pridmoor nodded and then he looked at Riley and replied, "Take your Pridmoor Key and go through the secret entry to the Power Station and help take that fiendish fool down."
He nodded and we all left with him and and Lord Pridmoor sighed and replied, "Good luck, kids."
Malory then replied, "The way they duel, she'll be just fine in her duel, sir."

About a hour later after leaving the bunker, we all arrived outside of the power building and the doors were shut tight and a electric field was covering the doors as well.
Jordan groaned and replied, "Damn it! We where so close to getting inside."
Riley then replied, "If we want the power to return to normal, we need to get in somehow."
As he finished talking, the electric field turned off and the main doors opened up and Kozaky with a duel disk on his arm was standing across from and by both of his sides were a couple of Science Soldiers (ATK: 800 x2) and the spirit smiled and replied, "Good morning, kids. Did you have fun walking up this morning?"
They all looked at him with fury and anger in their eyes and the Spirit nodded and replied, "Tough crowd."
Jordan then replied, "You dealt us a low blow, buddy! You shouldn't have done this."
"Well I did, so there. If you want inside, you have to defeat me in a deal and who will that be?"
Jordan raised his hand and he nodded and replied, "I've heard of your deck from the boss and I have the cards to defeat you with."
Jordan nodded and then Emmie looked at her girlfriend and she smiled and replied, "Crush this guy, boo."
She nodded to her and as the others sat on the steps of the building, Jordan stood across from the Duel Spirit and she nodded and he smiled and replied, "It's time for a rough duel for you, kid!"
She only sighed as they both activated their disks and quickly drew 5 cards from their decks.
"Game on!", Kozaky yelled out.

Jordan the replied, "Since you stole this place from the village, I'll go first. I'll set a monster and that'll end my turn now."
It drew a card and replied, "Time to show you how tough I can be for being only a mad scientist! I summon my Koa'ki Meiru Wyvern!"
As he sat the card down, A large dragon with green skin and a strange symbol on the front of appeared with two large green wings (ATK: 1,600) and I saw the monster then replied, "A Koa'ki Meiru monster?"
Manda sighed and replied, "If this deck is all about these monsters, this may be a tough duel for her."
"Lets do it. Wyvern attacks your hidden monster."
The dragon let out a burst of grey chilling air and shot out and a Elephun appeared on the card (DEF: 300) and the frigid attack struck and blew the Tuner to little pieces and he smiled and resumed, "When Wyvern crushes a monster, you take 300 damage if it was a dark or light monster, it would of been 600 instead."
A burst of chilling air struck her (Jordan LP: 8000 - 7700).
You'll never beat me, lady. To keep my Wyvern, I have to reveal a Wind monster or discard a Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru."
He flipped a card around in his hand and it was a monster called Koa'ki Meiru Tornado and he resumed, "Your turn now."
She drew a card and then she smiled and resumed, "I summon my Sunlight Unicorn."
She played the card and a blue-haired unicorn appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Let's check the top card of the deck."
She quickly did and sighed as it was only a Spike Rhinoceros and she placed at the bottom of the deck and resumed, "No big deal. I now activate my Poison Fangs!"
The spell appeared.
"Destroy his Wyvern!"
The mighty steed quickly rushed in jammed its horn into the chest and It screeched in pain before it exploded in a shower of black smoke & fiery embers (Kozaky LP: 8000 - 7700) and then I replied, "Whoa, how did that explosion happen?"
Manda then replied, "Each of those monsters have cores in them and his attack must of hit the core."
"That was really cool. Since my Beast damaged your points, you take 500 more damage thanks to my fangs card!"
He moaned as a wave of pure spores struck him down (Kozaky LP: 7700 - 7200).
"Your move now, nut."
It drew a card and resumed, "I'll set a new monster facedown and a card facedown and that's all I Can do right now."
She drew a card and resumed, "I summon my Bau the Black Dog Beast."
She played the card and the shadowy wolf-like dog (ATK: 1,800).
"Let's do this. Bau, attack!"
It snarled and quickly rushed in and a strange creature that looked a large watery monster combined with a reptile-like body (DEF: 1,900) and it struck it with its claws and the attack did nothing (Jordan LP: 7700 - 7600) and the scientist spirit smiled and resumed, "Your beast is a bit weaker then my Koa'ki Meiru Hydro Barrier, kid."
"I really don't care about that right now. Your move."
He drew a card and then resumed, "I activate my Core Changeout."
The spell appeared.
"I return a Koa'ki Mieru monster from my hand or side of the field to my deck and then I can get another one with the same level from my deck."
He took his Koa'ki Meiru Tornado and shuffled the card into his deck and then grabbed a new card and then he resumed, "I now bring forth the card I searched for and that is my Koa'ki Meiru Bergzak."
He played the card and a rocky-like Warrior with two swords appeared (ATK: 2,000).
"I now play my facedown card."
The trap appeared.
"It's called Armory Call and I can take a Equip Spell Card from my deck and equip to a monster I control and I choose my Koa'ki Meiru Armor."
A suit of armor appeared on the Warrior.
"Destroy her monsters!"
It charged in and the unicorn let out a small moan (ATK: 1,800 - 1,300) as the Warrior slashed at the Beast with his sword and blasted the shining beast to triangles and then his Warriior went in again and the beast made a growling noise (ATK: 1,800 - 1,400) and he swung his sword again, cleaving Bau in two with a single slash. The pieces shattered to bits (Jordan LP: 7600 - 6300) and Jordan was starting to look even more anger then before.
"That's how I do it, kid. To keep my Bergzak, I need to reveal a Warrior monster."
He flipped the card around and was a Koa'ki Meiru War Arms and he resumed, "That's all I can do."
She drew a card and then resumed, "I'll set a monster and a card facedown and that's all for me."
He drew a card and then resumed, "I summon my Koa'ki Meiru Prototype!"
She played the card and a large rocky creature with 4 large rocky legs appeared (ATK: 1,800) and she quickly replied, "I activate my Scapegoat!"
The spell appeared and 4 colorful sheep appeared.
"Trying to stay alive, eh? Prototype will attack one of your tokens."
The head of the strange Rock monster glowed as a beam of pure energy shout and pieced the red sheep token and blew it to pieces.
"Bergzak, your turn."
It quickly charged in and a strange Beast known as a Tree Otter appeared on the card (DEF: 100) and gave the beast a strange look and instead of using his swords, he gave her beast a kick and it fell backwards and then shattered against the ground and then it charged in and swung his sword and cut the red Sheep to pieces quickly and then he flipped around his War Arms card again and then he resumed, "Your move now, kid."
She drew a card and then resumed, "I summon my Valerifawn, Mystical Beast of the Forest."
She played the card and a cute little fawn walked onto the field (ATK: 400) and the he activated his Mystical Space Typhoon and a storm blew in and blasted the armor to bits.
"I'll discard a card to revive a Level 2 or lower rmonster."
She took a Dark Desertapir and discarded it and her Tree Otter appeared (ATK: 1,200).
"I now tune my Valerifawn with my Tree Otter and one of my tokens!"
The small beast smiled as it split into 2 white stars, which turned into green rings and the rings went through the Tree Otter and a token, which turned into a total of 3 green stars (*2 + *1 + *2 = *5).
"Galloping in heavens like thunder, crisscrossing them like a mighty gale, appear forth from the World of Myth and Legend! Synchro Summon! Neigh, Thunder Unicorn!"
She played the card and the mighty steed rode onto the field (ATK: 2,200).
"I'll drain your Warrior of more attack power!"
He moaned as cracks formed all over the Warrior (ATK: 2,000 - 1,000).
"Destroy that thing that your Hellish Horn Stab!"
It let out a loud neigh charged and drove her horn into the chest of the Warrior and it howled in before a fiery explosion reduced it to a burning heap of hot ash (Kozaky LP: 7200 - 6000) and then another burst of spores shot out and struck him (Kozaky LP: 6000 - 5500) and he nodded and resumed, "When a Koa'ki Meiru monster is destroyed while my Prototype is on the field, I get a Koa'ki Meiru token on my field."
A rock monster about half the size of his Prototype (DEF: 1,800).
"No big loss, you fool. I end my turn now.'
Manda looked back at me and replied, "Is she okay, sis? I've never seen her act like this since I met her."
I only could sigh. I've never seen her act like this as well and this was making me more worried as well.
He drew a card and resumed, "I'll switch my Prototype to defense and I'll set a monster as well for later and that'll be it for me."
She drew a card and then she opened her field slot as her Forest field appeared around her (ATK: 2,200 - 2,400).
"I now summon my Beast Striker."
She played the card and a large savage beast with a large hammer for a weapon appeared (ATK: 1,850 - 2,050).
"Unicorn, attack!"
It quickly charged and rammed its horn into the center of the huge rock before it began to chip and crack before it collapsed to the ground and smashed into dust & pebbles.
"Striker, attack!"
It went in and slammed its hammer down and struck the Aqua and it burst into globs of water that splattered against the ground.
"Your move now."
He drew a card and then resumed, "I flip my facedown monster up."
She did so and a strange icy creature with a icy spear for a weapon appeared (ATK: 1,900).
"I now activate Spellbooks from Inside the Pot."
Both drew 3 cards and then resumed, "I use Ice's effect. I discard a card and your Special Summoned monster is wiped out."
He discarded a card as the eyes of the ice creature glowed as two bursts of frigid cold air coated the Unicorn and then it collapsed into icy shards and Jordan looked like she wanted to commit bloody murder now and he resumed, "I chain that with Greed Grado."
She looked even more angry as that spell appeared and he drew 2 cards and then resumed, "I now activate Core Overcook!"
The spell appeared and both tokens glowed (ATK: 1,800 - 2,300) - (ATK: 1,900 - 2,400) and then he switched the token to attack position.
"I now activate my Core Overheat Blast."
The spell appeared.
"I reveal a Iron Core and then banish 2 Koa'ki Meiru cards from my graveyard and I get to destroy a Spell or Trap Card you have for each banished card."
He flipped the card around and he banished his Hydro Barrier and his Wyvern cards and then her forest card collapsed into shards and then her Poison Fangs card blew into bits as well.
"Lets do this. My token attacks your last token and then my Icy monster attacks your other one."
The token glowed as two beams shot out and vaporized her final token and then the icy warrior swung its spear and stabbed into the Beast and blew it into shards (Jordan LP: 6300 - 5750).
"There you go! I usually have to discard a Core or reveal a Continuous Spell Card to protect my Ice from its destruction effect, but I can banish my Core Overheat Blast instead!"
He banished the card and he resumed, "I don't need anything to save my Token, so I'll end my turn now."
She drew a card and then resumed, "I'll set a monster and that's all I can do for myself."
He drew a card and then resumed, "I'll attack again."
It swung its ice lance again and her Shiba-Warrior Taro appeared with a proud and very cute bark (DEF: 600) and the spear missed the cute pup.
"Lucky move, kid. I'll discard my Iron Core to protect it and that'll end my turn now."
He discarded the card and then she drew a card and she smiled and resumed, "I drop 1,000 lifepoints to activate my Ready Fusion and Special Summon my Flower Wolf!"
The spell appeared and she moaned (Jordan LP: 5750 - 4750) and a large wolf with flowers on its back appeared (ATK: 1,800) and she resumed, "I equip my little friend with Synchro Boost."
The dog let out another happy bark (ATK: 800 - 1,300) (LV: 2 -3).
"I now tune Taro with my Wolf!"
It barked more as it split into 3 white stars, which turned into green rings and the rings went through her Flower Wolf, which turned into 5 white stars (*3 + *5 = *8).
"A mighty pachyderm of a warrior smashes through anything that gets in its way! It will trample its enemies to win a tough fight! Synchro Summon! Smash on in, Garnecia Earthshaker!"
She played the card and a large humanoid pachyderm with large tusks and muscles appeared (ATK: 2,400) and Manda nodded and resumed, "A Synchro Counterpart of Garnecia Elephantis? Decent idea on their part."
"When this guy attacks, I can change your monster's position! Smash his Ice up!"
Her mighty giant charged in and his monster knelt (DEF: 1,200) before the huge beast plowed into it and smashed it into chunks of ice (Kozaky LP: 5500 - 4300).
"Your turn now, ugly."
He drew a card and replied, "You need to work on your attitude, brat. I'll set a new monster and a card for later and that's all I can do."
She drew a new card and then resumed, "I'll work on it when I'm doing crushing you into the ground! I summon my Pitch-Black Warwolf."
She played the card and the dark wolf warrior appeared (ATK: 1,600).
"Smash his Token!"
It quickly charged and his token knelt (DEF: 1,800) as went in and crushed it into dust (Kozaky LP: 4300 - 3700).
"Warwolf, your turn!"
It howled and rushed in and his Morphing Jar appeared (DEF: 600) before he sliced the jar in two and Jordan discarded a Sea Koala and he had to discard a War Arms and then both drew 5 cards and then he resumed, "I'll set a card for later and it's back to you."
He drew a card and she smiled and then resumed, "I activate my Dust Tornado!"
The trap appeared and a storm of dust shot out and eroded his Core Overcook into dust.
"No big loss. I activate my Call of the Haunted."
The trap appeared and His Ice appeared again (ATK: 1,900) and he smiled and discarded a card and his Synchro was coated in a coat of ice before it exploded into icy shards and Jordan looked at him and resumed, "You are so damn dead with me, buddy!"
"Your threats mean nothing to me, kid. I use my monster as a single tribute to bring forth my Koa'ki Meiru Rooklord!"
The ice monster shattered into icy bits as a giant robot-like Warrior appeared (ATK: 2,800).
"I'll banish 1 Koa'ki Meiru card to destroy your monster!"
He banished his Ice card and then her Warwolf exploded into shards.
"Attack her directly!"
It quickly charged in and slammed its giant robot-like arm into her and she stood her ground as best she could (Jordan LP: 4750 - 1950) and Manda groaned and resumed, "That had to hurt a lot."
I was worried about that one, but I really don't get what's with her attitude about this duel so far. This wasn't like her at all and I was really getting worried about the why she was acting like this during her duel.
"I'll show a Warrior monster to keep my Rooklord alive."
He flipped the card around as it was a Marauding Captain and then he resumed, "Make your move, kid."
He drew a card and then resumed, "I'll set a monster and that's all for now."
He drew a card and then resumed, "I now summon my Koa'ki Meiru Wall."
She played the card a large rocky monster with the core symbol in the middle of its rocky chest appeared (ATK: 1,900) and Manda sighed and resumed, "If she tries to use a Trap Card, that thing will deactivate it when she tries to use it."
"Lets do this. Rooklord, attack!"
It went and a small flying squirrel appeared on the card (DEF: 100) and it crushed it into dust with one heavy smash and she smiled and replied, "Gotcha, sucker! When my Nimble Momangas are destroyed, I gain 1000 lifepoints and I get two more from my deck."
She glowed (Jordan LP: 1950 - 2950) and then two more facedown monsters appeared.
"I won't bother with your facedown monsters. I'll show the monsters to save my monsters."
He revealed a Warrior Dai Grepher and a Koa'ki Meiru Boulder and he resumed, "Your move, kid."
She drew a card and then resumed, "I summon my Kiko, The Forest Guide."
She played the card and a cute orange-furred fox wearing a grey hooded coat and holding onto a wooden walking stick appeared (ATK: 1,000).
"I now tune my Kiko with my Momongas."
The small fox creature glowed as it split into 3 stars, which turned into green rings and the rings went through both of her squirrels, which turned into a total of 4 white stars (*3 + *2 + *2 = *7).
"A Savage beast that smashes through any enemy that gets in its way! It defends the forest from enemies as well! Synchro Summon! Come from the Forest, Great Kuma Axe!"
She played the card and the savage barbarian with a large axe for a weapon appeared (ATK: 2,000).
"Since I used Kiki to Synchro Summon a monster, I can activate a Forest Field Spell from either my deck or my graveyard."
She grabbed the card from the graveyard and her deep wonderful forest appeared around them all (ATK: 2,000 - 2,200).
"I'll use my Synchro's effect. I'll send a Beast or Beast-Warrior back into my deck and then my monster gains ATK equal to half of the attack of a targeted."
She shuffled her Sunlight Unicorn into her deck and then his axe began to glow (ATK: 2,200 - 3,700).
"Smash his Wall!"
It quickly charged and swung his sword, cleaving through the Rock monster and smashing it into dust and pebbles (Kozaky LP: 3700 - 1900).
"Gotcha there, buddy! Make your move."
His axe stopped glowing (ATK: 3,700 - 2,200).
"There you go. that's all for me for now."
Kozaky drew a card and then resumed, "I'm not following for it, kid. I'll set a monster and switch my giant friend to defense and I'll reveal my card."
He flipped his Captain around and then he resumed, "I end my turn now."
She drew a card and then resumed, "I summon my New Moon Wolf!"
She played the card and the large wolf appeared (ATK: 1,800 - 2,000).
"I'll use his effect again."
He shuffled his Spike Rhinoceros into the deck and then its axe glowed again (ATK: 2,000 - 3,700).
"Let do this. Kuma Axe, attack!"
It went in and swung his axe and cut into the chest of the giant and it glowed before it exploded in a shower of burning scrap metal & fiery embers.
"Wolf, attack!"
It charged in and his Koa'ki Meiru Boulder appeared (DEF: 1,200) and the beast slashed at and it toppled over and smashed into rocky shards & dust and he grabbed a new card from his deck and a soundwave shot out and slammed into her (Kozaky LP: 1900 - 1500).
"Next turn, your done for! I end my turn now."
Kozaky drew a card and then resumed, "I activate my Spellbook from Inside the Pot."
Both drew 3 cards and then resumed, "I now banish my Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru to Special Summon one of the best monsters in my deck!"
As he banished the card from his hand, a huge and mighty dragon covered with silver skin appeared with a mighty roar (ATK: 3,000).
"Meet the mighty and powerful Koa'ki Meiru Maximus!"
Manda groaned and replied, "I've heard of that thing and it's nothing but trouble."
"Time to show you how some manners, kid! I use his effect now to destroy any of your cards!"
He opened its mouth as a burst of energy shot out and struck his Synchro and he groaned and exploded into shards.
"Destroy her Wolf!"
The creature glowed as a burst of fiery bolts of energy shot out and smashed her Wolf into shards (Jordan LP: 2950 - 1950).
"There you go! I'll discard my other Iron Core to keep my dragon alive and then I'll set two cards and that's all for me."
She drew a card and then resumed, "I'll set a monster and that's all I can do for now."
Kozaky nodded and resumed, "I'll grab back my Iron Core that I didn't banish earlier."
He grabbed it and resumed, "I Summon my Koa'ki Meiru Guardian."
It played the card and a rocky statue appeared (ATK: 1,900).
"First, I use my dragon's effect to wipe out your facedown monster!"
The dragon roared as her facedown Dimensional Prison was blown to shards.
"Nice try. I activate my Koa'ki Ring. I reveal the core and any monster is destroyed and we both then take 1000 damage."
The Spell appeared and he flipped around his 3rd Iron Core card and then his Guardian exploded into shards of rock that struck both duelists (Kozaky LP: 1500 - 500) - (Jordan LP: 1950 - 950)
"I now activate my facedown Dragon's Rage!"
The trap flipped up and I sighed sadly and replied, "This duel is over with for her."
"Lets do it. Attack the facedown monster!"
The dragon let out a burst of fiery energy and a Sea Koala appeared on the card (DEF: 1,600 - 1,800) and the energy blast hit and blew her beast to tiny pieces and the rest of the attack struck her down (Jordan LP: 750 - 0) and he smiled and replied, "That's game for me."
Manda looked stunned and replied, "No damn way. She lost the duel? No damn way."
The fiend looked at her and replied, "I won't capture you this time, but your power station remains under my control for now. If you want it back, return to me another day and we'll have another duel."
He laughed as he and his soldiers went in and the power grid went up again and Jordan looked at the group and then she quickly ran off and then I sighed and then replied, "We need to follow her."
Manda nodded as we both ran after her.

During each of your End Phases, destroy this card unless you send 1 "Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru" from your hand to the GY or reveal 1 WIND monster in your hand. When this card destroys a monster in battle, inflict 300 damage and if the destroyed was a LIGHT or DARK monster, your opponent takes 300 more damage.
