After talking to every townsperson, I was quiet during our quiet walk. My mind was running quickly.

Travel to Lera.

Come back and protect my own.

I was having small PTSD from leaving the first time but at least it wasn't on my own. We walked out the kingdom and journeyed a few miles already. The wind blew hard, and it was warmer this time, making me stop and stare at the fluffy dark cloud that was getting larger.

My eyes became a blurry and I blinked a couple of times until I felt an arm wrap around my shoulder.

"Princess! The first time we walked this way. We were not as close as we were before!" Knuckles said and I smiled at his excitement.

"It does bring back memories." Cream adds and Sonic turns around while walking backwards.

"A few bad ones but what an adventure." Sonic said and then he walked up and took my hands. "All for you."

"Yuck." Knuckles replies and we all laugh but once that wind blew roughly again, I stopped and looked towards the kingdom and then to the sky. The sky flicked a light blue, but I couldn't tell if I was imagining or not.

"Why am I sensing something?"

"We will come back soon." Sonic reassured me and then I started walking again.

Hours passed and I continuously kept my eye on the sky and watched the cloud continue to cover the entire sky. I look away from it and Sonic stops and turns to both of us.

"We have been walking for some time now, let's take a rest." Sonic says and we walk off the trail slightly and sit on the forest floor.

"Man… I forget how long it takes to get Lera." Knuckles complains and Tails sat down looked over the map.

"From this updated map, Silver said that Maria and Shadow went together to change the route to Lera every few months to continue to protect it, maybe that's what makes it look longer." Tails surveyed the map.

"I hope they are alright." I say and we all sit in silence after that and Sonic jumps up.

"I'm sure they are! But most importantly…" Sonic pushes my head back with one finger. "You better show Blaze all you have learned when we get there. Can't have her thinking we haven't been doing anything for the past months.

"Psh. I'm sure I look the part." I counter.

"Looking and performing is two different things." Sonic adds and points to the open area. "Let's have a small duel, you VS me."

"No. Uh Uh. No way." Cream warns and Sonic froze at her tone.

"It would be entertaining." Knuckles adds.

"But they would also give away our location." Rouge stops the conversation and Sonic sits back down and groans.

"Let's get going then. I'm itching to do something- "

The wind blew hard threw the forest catching us all off guard.

"We should go. "Tails gets up first and we all follow him and get to going.

We start walking and Sonic starts to skip further away from us as he leads the group. Every skip he took, fire escaped from it, and it would boost him off further.

I look at my feet and I try to do the same. A large flame flies out and I bump into Cream, and she stops and turns around.

"Sorry, I tripped." I lie and walk past her and then I jogged up to Sonic.

He turns his head and smiles at me.

"Hey- "

"How do you still control it so well- I feel like the hotter it's been becoming; I've been losing more control."

"Hm. That's a good question." Sonic says and then he jumps up and starts flying.

"Think about the amount you are forcing out. Don't just do it. Think it."

"Think it."

I look at my feet and shoot flames out and I ascend in the air, I go higher than I planned but containing my balance was just as hard.

"Whew, that's hot." Sonic flew to me and grabbed my hands. "Lower it."

"I'm trying." Slightly, lower it and then I start to descend downwards.

"Good now control that amount."

I slowly come to a stop and Sonic let go of my hands. I look down and I see the others looking at me in awe and I smile and look at Sonic who was doing the same.

"I am doing it!"

I spin around and then my eyes stick on the sky and the cloud. The sound around me quiets and my ears start to ring. I cover my ears and my vision blurs slightly and I felt a hand touch my shoulder.

I turn fast and its dark.

I reach out forward and then I turn back slowly to the sky and still saw the singular cloud. It was only me and the fluffy whiteness and then I felt the hand again and Sonic was there.

My vision had turned into normal, and all the greenery and greyish sky.

"Amelia?"

"What? Yes."

"I said… should we return to the ground."

"Yeah! Yeah."

We floated down and return to the rest of the ground. I turned back to look at the massive cloud forming and something didn't feel right.

My visions are becoming more constant recently. I didn't know it would affect me so drastically for having the smallest ounce of darkness."

I push my other thoughts away and keep my head forward as I walk towards the huge cliff that had been transformed to a hill so we can transport goods and people to each other. Once making it at the bottom of the hill. I noticed the flowers that Lera has. Blue lilies and other colorful bushes. This nature did not grow near our kingdom, so it was nice to see some different nature like after walking for so long.

"How far do we have left now?" Sonic turns and asks and Tails opens the map and checks.

"About thirty minutes. It's getting dark as well, we should probably speed up our process." Tails says and we all stop. "I'll carry cream and Knuckles you get Rouge. Let's fly the way there."

"Finally!" Sonic turns and smirks to me. "I'll race you there."

Sonic jets up and out of the forest and I laugh and follow right after him. Sonic already had a lot of distance on me, so I had to catch up.

The wind soon started to feel humid on my face and I flew upwards the mountain, and I landed in front of the gates with Sonic who was already standing there, talking to someone.

I landed beside him, and a Lera guard bowed to me.

"Good evening, Princess."

"Good evening. We are here to speak to Silver and Shadow." I said and he nods his head and signals someone to let us in.

"Princess, you blinded us with your fire." Knuckles joked and I blushed.

"Sorry about that."

The doors open wide, and we walk in and see many citizens running around with boxes of food and running to put animals away in barns. I step back before I got ran over.

"What's going on?" Sonic questioned aloud and we run through the crowd and towards the palace. The palace was full over people, they were talking to guards and others, and I squeezed through the crowd.

"There is no water and the clouds have covered the sun completely. Let Lady Tikal tell us our future!" Says a man and I listen to him.

The guards were trying to get everyone to relax and then I saw the doors of the palace open.

Silver steps out and claps his hands together but it was a loud clap since he bended air together to create a sound louder than the panicking people.

"Everyone please! Return to your homes. Your guardians and Lady Tikal are deciding a plan to deal with the water and the sun disappearing. Go to your loved ones and homes and stay close together.

"Guardian Silver! Please tell us the future!" A young mother spoke loudly, and her question made the crowd roar.

"Everyone listens!" Silver yells and then it becomes quiet. "Trust us and Lady Tikal. We will always protect you. Now please. Lady Tikal is enduring a lot. Please return to your homes and wait for further news.

The crowd disbanded and I watch silver worry surface and then he saw us, and it faded.

"Guys!" Silver ran towards us, and we group hug. "It's been so long!"

"It has! Glad you are alright." Sonic said and Silver smiled.

"Same. You all look so healthy." Silver gave Cream a side hug and we smiled at our distant friend.

"I'm also glad you are here." Silver says and we follow him in.

"I'm sure you all have noticed that we have no rain or sun now. Lera's natural resources are fading away and we were just about to travel to Asendel to seek resources but seeing you are here. I'm hoping its better news."

"We are actually going through the same problems. No rain. No sun. But a strange cloud forming. I think I've started to see flashing of blue lights from it and the air is changing more humid. Maybe it's a storm but clouds don't move like that. "I inform to Silver, and he stops. And looks at the cloud from the window.

"It is growing in size." Silver watches it and then we hear a loud scream.

Silver dashes up the stairs and we fly behind him and follow him down the hall to Tikal's room. We enter it and it was completely dark besides the dark orb she was holding. It was turning blue and dark purple. As she held onto it. Her eyes glowed blue and blood fell from her nose as Sticks wiped it away and Shadow held her up.

"No one say a noise." Silver whispers and then he walks over to Tikal and lifts her up.

"AH!" Tikal yells and the room shakes.

I stared at her, and I watched the pain she was in, and the wind pushed around back and, on the floor, as she opened her eyes and her mouth. Loud sounds of explosions and shaking and then it stopped once she is starting floating. The orb was rapidly changing colors, and she ascends in the air slowly.

"No!" She yelled and then she yelled clear as day.

"The princess of Asendel is going to die!"
