HI! so no I didn't forget about this book if you want to know why I have been away for over a year I'll explain it at the end of the chapter. This chapter is 895 words shorter than usual but I'm working on the others thanks for sticking around and not spamming me with when are you going to update messages I appreciate it.

Malachy sat in goodness class which unsurprisingly was taught by Fairy Godmother herself. Their mission last night was a failure (not that he cared). He would have to divert his sister's attention away from their mother's mission— just for a while until he could convince her that fulfilling their mother's wishes wasn't the best Idea.
"Mal?"
"Give it a bottle"
Shaking his head he focused his attention on the lesson Fairy Godmother was trying to teach. Auradon couldn't possibly believe they were this stupid–Right? The answer was painfully obvious and he had to stop himself from smiling at Evie getting on Fairy Godmother's nerves.
Jay and Carlos started fighting on the desks and got sentenced to Tourney– whatever that was, and unfortunately for him, he and Kai also had to try out for Tourney.
"It's required that you each join a Club and seeing that you have so much energy Tourney should be perfect."
...
Firstly Tourney wasn't so bad but it was more Jay's thing than it was his. Since school was over Malachy made his way towards the library 'Last I checked the others were off doing their own things and Kai was with Mal so, I should use this opportunity to see what kind of information I can find about what happened to our dad'.
History of Auradon, Tales of Olympus,
"Need some help?"
Turning around Malachy came face to face with an Asian girl (Lonnie is Asian rt guys?) if looks were anything to go by with short black hair he noted that she wasn't much taller than Mal. Damn, he didn't even hear her come in.
"Na I'm good"
"You're one of the new vk's right? What's your name?"
"Vk?"
"Villain kids that's what everyone is calling you guys"
Great. Not even one week in and they were already being judged based on their parent's actions. "Malachy, my name is Malachy" He had no idea why he told her his name when he'd normally just go do whatever it is he was doing but the girl didn't seem like a threat, for now. "So is everyone around here rude or is introducing yourself not done here?"
"Sorry, My name is Lonnie and I'm the daughter of Mulan and Shang"
"You didn't have to say who your parents were"
"I know but it's just something done here"
They both fell into an awkward silence. Malachy continued to search the library for books that would help him out later he couldn't help but notice that there weren't any books on magic. Interesting
"You guys have magic around here, right?"
"Yeah but it's pretty much retired, well, except for in Neverland and Olympus"
"Why Neverland?"
"I don't really know the reason behind it but apparently when King Adam was forming the USA they made the law about magic stating it was the cause of all their problems and it should be banned but Neverland is all about adventure and magic and without their magic, they wouldn't be Neverland anymore It's a big part of their culture and tradition, so they don't want to give it up. Their magic lets them make the impossible possible, and they don't want to lose that. Why the interest?"
"As a magical being myself, I've always been fascinated with magic. It's a part of who I am, and it's something that I've never really gotten to explore or understand. So, when we were invited to Auradon, I just couldn't wait to learn more about my own powers. It's something I've always wanted to learn more about, and I thought after so many years that I'd finally have the chance to do just that." He said with a sigh, maybe this joni girl could be useful to him in the future.
So far Auradon seemed to be the perfect place, almost too perfect, too peaceful, too serene. And that's exactly what made it so ominous.
"Well that was interesting I shall be heading back to my dorm see you around Joni"
"It's LONNIE"
...
Kai sat lounging on his bed he had previously been with his sister exploring the campus some more but after an hour and thirty minutes, they both decided to go their separate ways.
"Oh kai great, I thought you were still with Mal"
" Na, we both went our separate ways after about an hour and a half," kai said rolling over on his stomach just in time to see his brother lock their dorm room and flop down onto his bed. Weird.
"We're not going with mom's plan"
Kai stared at his brother in disbelief as he processed the information. This was their evil abusive mother, Mistress of all evil. Kai's heart thumped in his chest as he took in what he'd just been told, feeling stunned and surprised by the revelation. "You're not going with Mom's plan? But this is what she wants us to do," Kai protested, confused and taken aback by what his brother had just revealed.
"What about the others? Right now Mal is determined to get the wand there is no stopping her." Kai said
" My plan is to give the others a few days, weeks even, enough time to make them see that this place is better than back home and once they see that, I'm positive that they will not go with the plan"
"And your plan with Mal?"
"We let her continue doing what she is doing. In time I will tell Mal that we're not following our mother's plan and if she is still adamant and the others choose not to steal the wand, she'll have no choice but to back down or it will be all of us against her"
"You want US to go against our sister!?"
"If it's necessary! I have a feeling that we won't have to though, just trust me."
...
Ben sat in his office at school today, as it was the first day of the semester for the isle kids. However, the only class they had was with Fairy Godmother, so it wasn't really their official first day yet. Ben could hardly believe that the proclamation that he had been working on since he was thirteen years old finally got accepted, All those late nights of detailed research finally paid off and he was so proud.
Sure his proclamation caused quite the uprise but Ben stood adamant and firm and was able to proceed. Seeing that it was soon dinner time Ben decided he'd check on his proclamation, he wanted to know if they were fitting in right and if they needed anything.
"Hey Benny!"
Stopping in his tracks Ben turned to face one of his childhood friends who had supported his Isle Kid initiative. "Hey Lon, what's up?"
"I need to talk to you about the vks, If you're free right now"
Ben hadn't been aware that any of his friends had met the new kids since they skipped out on breakfast and they didn't have official classes until next week, but it made sense that his friends would run into them sooner or later if they were roaming around campus. "Sure, what's up?"
"It could be me but I think the vks need to see doctors"
I PROMISE I'M WORKING ON THE OTHER CHAPTERS. I'm sorry I've been away for 1 year a month and what 12 days? I had major exams that I successfully passed this year (Think SAT LEVEL) and I had studied really hard. For most of my life, I've been going through something that no child should have to go through but I am safe now, I've been safe for like 2? years now and I'm happy about that. I'm doing my best to continue writing this book and I've decided to change up some things so get excited for chapters yet to come. Thank you to those who stayed with me and I promise I will finish this book because I know how much readers hate when a book is unfinished.
see you next update (hopefully not a year from now)
xoxo domo~
