A.N. — Before the last of September's Eight Bullets are spent, here is the manager of the Shie Hassaikai. More focus seems to get put on the little dude he walks around in rather than the guy behind the cloak, so here I'll try to shed some light on his inner self.
270. Joi Irinaka/Mimic
Appearances could be deceiving; Mimic took the cliché to its zenith.
The cutesy-creepy bodysuit Joi wore to disguise his brutal, jagged features was just one aspect of his subterfuge. Using Mimicry, Joi hid in whatever advantageous items at hand he could fit in. The muffling of his senses while immersed in another object didn't dampen his temper, though. And shooting up Trigger to boost his reach only exacerbated his emotions.
It was ironic that Mimic could manage an entire yakuza organization, but was so poor at regulating himself. His short fuse was the one thing Joi couldn't successfully obfuscate.
