The following day, I noticed Nina up early and heading out. I text Eddie to meet up with us as we walk out. We head out together to show that she has friends for her. As we walk out to school, we run into an old lady. Nina stops and goes to talk to her.

"Ohh! Sorry. Are you ok?" Nina asked

"That's my house." The old lady said without a doubt in her head.

"Err, I don't think so. It's a school." Alex said, trying to understand why the old lady would say that.

"That's my house." The old lady said with a very strong belief in what she said.

"Ok, it's your house. It kind of suits you." Eddie said, as he knew it was old, and so was she

"Maybe you can tell me where you really live, and I could take you back. Oh, here. You'll get cold." Nina said being nice.

"It's you, isn't it? I knew you'd come." The old lady said to all of us.

" I'm sorry, I don't know," I said as I was the longest and had never seen her before.

"Sarah, Sarah. My name is Sarah." now we know the old lady's name is Sarah

"Okay, Sarah, Why don't you come inside for a cup of coffee?" Eddie said as he wanted to help her.

"I can't go in there. He's waiting. He's always waiting." Sarah said, scared for her life, as Eddie said something.

"All right then, um, why don't you just wait here, And I'll go and bring someone back. Okay?" Nina said as she went to get Trudy.

"Are you coming back?" Sarah said worriedly

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. just don't move," she says as she moves into the house

"We will stay here while you go get Trudy," Eddie said.

"You have to protect her, Eddison, and Alexandria. He is always watching," the lady Sarah said

Eddie makes a face as she knows our name. I went to say, "Wha…." it was at that point that Nina and Trudy came back out. Trudy could guess that she was from the old people's home down the street. Trudy says that we come to take her home. We head there, and a woman about turdy's age opens the door.

"She is normally not much of a runner. Isn't that right, Emily!" she yells at Sarah or Emily. She made a movement to show us not to talk about her name being Emily.

"I may be old but not deaf, you know," Sarah said very straightforwardly.

We walk her to her room, but I notice the picture of Anubis's house. "Wait that's Anubis' house. She says that she used to live there."

"Well i dont think so… but you never know about with these old people." The lady said. We get Sarah to her room. She gets seated, and says to sarah "there thats better?"

With some sass Sarah said, "no" the lady does not say anything to Sarah,

But then the lady turned us to ask "how would a cup of tea be before you go back"

We all look at each other and nina says "well I dont think we will be missed. So sure would be great."

As she brings tea Nina and I sit on the bed eddie off to the side of it. Sarah right now takes off a neckless. "Here you have to take this But keep it well hidden, Or they'll take it away from you. They take everything away from you in the end."

"Oh I cant take this" Nina trying to send it back

"No you must It will keep you safe. There's treasure hidden in that house. And only you have the power to find and protect it. But you must be careful. There's danger in that house. Evil. It's a bad house. A dark house."

Eddie says "evil? Spooky, yes, But I don't know about evil."

After that Nina still not wanting to take something from her tries to say "Emily, I don't think."

"Sarah. My name is Sarah. And I know you. And you know me Nina."

Eddie and I look at each other as Sarah knew all three of our names. But oddly it did not worry us and it almost let us feel safe in some way

Nina however, went onto say "How do you know my name"

Sarah didnt answer that and went on about it, "Do you hear me? Beware the black bird! It's evil. Evil. Watch out for the bird though. Watch out for the black bird. But you have the power." Sarah said scaring both nina and I.

However back at school in the morning

Amber went into mick's room knocking the door. "Hey want to walk over together?" Amber asked

Mick turned to her and said. " Yeah, o by the way I forgot to give you this last night." He hands her a half eaten banana.

"A half eaten banana?" amber said not really believing it. Mick did turn to get a box for her.

With a smile he gives her a bracelet that is cute very Amber "No this,"

"O Mick I love it! What is it?" Asking as it is in a box and she did not see it.

She opens it like he says "You know how I love things that go on my writes." she puts it on and hugs him. Just then Mara opens the door

"O sorry I am interrupting?" She questions as she came in

At the same time Mick and amber said "No" and "yes"

Mara hearing Mick first went on "Ok! I was just Wondering what time you wanted to work on that biology assignment?"

Amber being a little jealous says "I can help you with that if you like Mick?"

Mick starts to laugh as most people dont think amber that smart to help him.

"It's not that funny." Amber said a little mad as she does not want to be known as dumb.

With a smile Mick "Aw you knock me out babe." but then turns Mara "Six o'clock?"

"Fine with me." Mara says with a smile.

"We were just heading over to class. Do you want to come with us mara-culous?" Mick said not only it worse with a nickname. He does not relizes what he does and gets his bag on the bed behind him.

"Mara-culous?" Amber made a face and said Mara.

"Come." Mick said as he grabs Amber's arm before heading out

the school to sweeties office

Patricia went to knock on the door. Sweetie said to come in. He looks up at her and says "Yes Patricia?"

She said "I need to know what's happened to joy."

Looking a little shocked that she thinks something happens "Nothing has happened to joy."

"Her parents decided to remove her from the school." He said calmly "That's all."

Patricia does not believe that so she questioned it more "When you came into our class yesterday. You said 'someone is here to see you"

Not really knowing what to say he questioned where it could go "Yes, that's right."

"Why didn't you say 'your parents are here to see you?"

"What?" Again questioning where this is going he said

"Unless it wasn't her parents."

"Now you're just being silly." Sweet says wanting to put it on her.

"And why did she leave her phone behind? And why hasn't she called me? And why wouldn't her parents tell joy they?" she said each question was coming out more worried

"Patricia, calm down. I'm sure joy will get in touch in her own time. And if she doesn't, perhaps it means, she doesn't want to."

"That's not possible." being mad and worried.

"Tempus fugit Patricia. Time marches on and I have a staff meeting to prepare for. Excuse me. Thank you Patricia. But Thank you. And goodbye. Bye Patricia." every sentence getting her closer to the door to kick her out. After she left he went right to his phone to call someone.

Patricia was out side mad that she got no answer she looks at the picture from last year of the school. Amber and Mara are walking by.

"Ok. Ground rules. You help Mick with one biology assignment and then that's it. Ok?" she says that she is jealous.

Mara said back "Ok. It's not like I begged to tutor him."

Patricia heard their voice so she turned to them "Mara. Amber. Here. Quick. Look at this."

"I know, don't rub it in. Bad hair day." Amber said looking at the picture.

"Forget your hair Amber. Where's joy?" she said pointing at the picture.

Amber yet again being a dum said "Didn't she go home with her parents yesterday?"

"Here! On this photo." Patricia making sure amber understood what they said.

"Hum. She's not there." amber said really looking at it.

"Exactly" Patricia wanting to prove a point says

"Wasn't she away that day? With tonsillitis or something?" Mara said trying to think logically like she always does.

"No. She was standing right here next to me when that was taken." Patricia knew that for sure.

"How can you be so sure? It was nearly 18 months ago Patricia." Mara said as she starts to walk away with amber.

As a last ditch effected Patricia said "She was there that day. I know she was."
