Chapter 11: Danny Vs Colette

After much negotiating through the phone, Jack and Maddie Fenton managed to convince Damon Grey and the Foleys to privately discuss about how to proceed with their children's shared situation.

They tried to do the same with the Mansons, but they were met with rejection and disdain. Now they were all together in the Foley's living room, discussing the situation.

Namely, the kids' innocence.

"I don't see why you think they're wrong about this..." Damon said.

"Because they ARE!..." Maddie snapped.

"You have a lot of nerve to think poorly of your own girl!..." Jack said with fists at hips.

"Especially since you should know her better than anyone!..." Maddie said with arms crossed.

The two eccentric ghost hunters both shared the same unamused scowl.

"You're a smart guy, Damon. You helped us with the ectoskeleton. You can't really believe this baloney, can you?..." Jack said, shaking his head.

He had a high opinion of the man's engineering skills and intelligence. Jack hoped he could appeal to the fellow scientists intelligence and get him to notice how suspicious this was.

The Fenton parents also tried to appeal to his fatherly side.

"We haven't known each other long but you do know your daughter better than anyone. Do you really think that your own daughter would willingly do all those awful things she's been accused of?..." Maddie asked, appealing to the father of one of her son's dear friends.

"What do you say, Damon?..." Jack said, hoping that he'll respond positively.

Damon thought about it as he turned to see his daughter. He exhaled out his nose, finally willing to listen reason and seeing their side after hearing their words.

He had nothing against any of the Fentons.

There was a time last year when Damon thought Danny was going to end up as his son-in-law and was disappointed in his daughter when she broke up with him to focus on ghost hunting...though he did prefer that their "ghost stuff" didn't get too close to Valerie.

She had enough of that as it is!

" If I ever met the person who sent Valerie her ghost hunting tech, I'm gonna wring their neck and leave them in a ditch!..."He thought before he recalled the situation at hand.

He wasn't trying to be unfair, he was just trying to keep his daughter safe. Plus, Damon probably shouldn't have trusted flimsy evidence from unknowable source.

He sighed upon realizing his mistake.

"After thinking of what you said, I realize maybe I did overreact and I didn't give her the benefit of the doubt. Since we don't know the anonymous source of the so called proof against her, I think you're right..." He said, feeling guilty for jumping to that conclusion.

Now he realized that he has to give Valerie a chance to prove her innocence.

"You sure did, Daddy. But it's not like I didn't give you a few reasons to doubt me. So, I won't hold it this against you too much..." Valerie said, being half joking and serious, which her father laughed regardless.

"I shouldn't be so quick to believe another. That, and you aren't the kind of person who'd something like that. I should have known better..." He added with a guilty look.

Valerie smiled when she heard that.

"Thanks Daddy..." She said in relief.

"About time. I'm so glad that they helped me talk some sense into my Dad..." She thought in relief.

"At least that's taken care of..." Maddie thought.

The Fenton patriarch and matriarch then turned to the Foleys, both of whom didn't like the look they were sending.

A look of disapproval and distrust.

"Lets just hope that they will see reason too. They're not as overbearing as the Mansons..." Maddie thought, knowing that the Foleys didn't attract as much controversy.

Tucker let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.

"Relief..."The tech geek thought, hoping that Danny's parents could help truly prove his innocence and that the real culprit would be caught.

Little did he know, Danny was with this culprit right now. He was the intended target, after all.

Back with Danny

Danny was still dealing with his most aggravating opponent yet and the worst trap he's ever dealt with. Being blackmailed by Colette.

He continued using his powers to torment her to get her to stop this latest scheme...and get some payback for 6 months of harassment. But it wasn't working as Colette is just TOO stubborn. The spoiled brat seriously couldn't take no for an answer. She was like a roach that just wouldn't give up and go away.

He tossed her in the air several times, but while she was screaming her head off, she refused to give up.

"Give up yet?!..." Danny asked for the tenth time.

Despite being shaken, Colette refused to give in.

"NEVER!..." She snapped, making it clear that she wouldn't listen.

Danny frowned, rolling his eyes at her blatant stubbornness.

So, he tried something else.

"Looks like I should kick it into a faster speed..."Danny said.

He accelerated his flight speed, but that still didn't do the job. Even when they passed by and pushed away some clouds along the way, Colette kept her poker face on.

He was finding her harder to deal with than Beatrice, which he found surprising.

"How is she more stubborn than that old bat? You'd think that she'd loss interest by now, since she values her own life so much..."He thought in exasperation.

The ghost boy was started to think that the crazy fake redhead might be more irritating than the old bat, which is saying a lot..or just crazier than the bat.

Either way, it was getting increasingly difficult. Especially since Colette was losing her fear, enough to start talking and kept taunting him.

"You know, I always did find Phantom attractive. Now I know why. Same face, same hair, same vocal patterns. Still, I can't believe I never noticed before. I mean, Danny Fenton, Danny Phantom. As you Americans say, Duh..." She said, wondering why she never noticed before.

"I see creativity is another thing you need to improve on..." She commented.

Danny frowned.

"You literally didn't notice until now. As you said, same face, hair and vocal patterns!..."He snapped.

"Eh, true..." Colette said, shrugging slightly.

Danny frowned.

"Wait, what am I doing? I'm suppose to be getting rid of you..." He said before he continued with his speeds.

"You're just playing hard to get. This way is much more exhilarating than before..." Colette said, still unwilling to accept somebody prefers her stepsister over her.

"Despite the admittedly frightened height of this sudden joyride through the air, when will we be landing? I need to get food at some point, after all..." She whined, only to be ignored by the ghost boy.

Danny, however, had other plans than getting a bite.

He phased into the Bevier penthouse and noticed that nobody was there. Danny saw a note from Jean Luc and frowned when he saw it was about him meeting with a woman for a "business meeting".

"Like daughter like father..." Danny thought, disgusted knowing Jean Puke had probably flirted with half the women in Amity Park by now.

The ghost boy had to remembered this disgusting info for later, after he deals with the stubborn crazy French girl first.

Jean Luc and the women he cheats on Star's mother with could wait. He had another Bevier to deal with.

Danny flew into Colette's room and frowned, feeling like he just entered somewhere very unholy.

"The hall of evil!..."Danny thought, grossed out.

"Hmm...have you come to your senses and finally agreed to my requests? Perhaps I can forgive this experience..."Colette teased.

"So sick and wrong!..." Danny thought, while shuddering.

"I'm gonna pretend you didn't say that..." He said as he quickly searches her room.

Trying to find the source of all the incriminating evidence she has against him, Star and his friends.

He also phased his head through a few walls too, not seeing her computer. Colette sent him a cocky look, realizing what he must be looking for.

"If you're looking for my computer Mon Amore, it's not here. It's in a secure location along with copies my minions have..."She boasted.

"Don't worry, they're under instruction not to open it...unless you disobey..." She said, receiving a glare from him.

"Great, more people who know my secret..." Danny thought, though he pushed that future problem aside for now and tried to refocus his attention on the current situation.

"You still think you're the good guy? Even though you just admittedly to having minions..." Danny quipped.

"You have minions too, you just call them friends..." Colette replied, getting an incredulous look from the ghost boy.

"Okay again, therapy! Get some therapy, you psycho!..." Danny said.

"I already told you that I do not need that quack science of the mind mumbo-jumbo. I am perfect just the way I am..." Colette said, sounding prideful.

Danny felt a migraine form right now.

"I wonder if this is what Jazz meant by a case of denial or the red flags of insanity..." He said as he tried to find something to use against her to make her drop this blackmail junk.

He spotted something and got an idea. The ghost boy noticed that everything in her room was overly expensive, even the wallpaper.

"Wasteful people. Half of this stuff is more expensive than my house..." He thought in disgust, seeing all of this was unnecessary.

Maybe he should try to going after the only thing she actually cared about...

Her stuff!

The ghost boy then saw her walk-in closet and knew where to start his new plan. Her clothes.

"Nice outfits..." Danny said sarcastically, which Colette didn't pick up.

"Thank you, about time you-..."She was cut off when Danny sent a threatening look.

"Let's see how ghost proof they are if you plan to cling to me forever!.." Danny said as he raised his hand and blew a hole through about 20 of them.

"No!..." Colette shouted in dismay.

"Oops..." Danny went sarcastically.

Colette watched her very expensive clothes being destroyed within seconds.

"ARE YOU CRAZY?! Those dresses cost over $1,000 EACH! And they were imported all the way from France!..." She snapped.

"Really, I guess they just look overpriced and gaudy..." Danny taunted.

"My clothes are NOT gaudy! They are fancy! They are made by the best, for the best!..." She snapped while Danny rolled his eyes.

The ghost boy then grabbed a fur coat that might cost more than his own house and held it hostage.

"Now tell your minions to delete the footage and the pictures of Star, confess to framing her, my sister and my friends or I start vaporizing the rest of your stuff!..."He threatened.

"NEVER!..."Colette shouted.

"Wrong answer!..." Danny said as he used his powers to incinerate it.

"No! That was a gift from my grandmama! My REAL one from France!..." Colette whined.

"Don't care..." Danny said, while Colette glowered but surprisingly didn't give in.

"Whatever! Fur is out this season anyway!..." She said, refusing to give in.

"Then I guess you don't need this either!..."Danny said as he took aim and started blasting a random dress.

He was going to blast another when Colette let out a horrible wail like a banshee, as she threw an even bigger tantrum than before.

"AAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!..." She let out, as her tantrum continued.

"Why is she so unbearably loud?!..."Danny thought, feeling his ear ring a bit.

The ghost boy could hear that the crazy fake redhead scream was worse than the ghost banshees that he sometimes runs into in the Ghost Zone. And those ghosts can make glass shatter from a few miles away.

"I wonder if this is what my Ghostly Wail sounds like from the other side..."He thought as he rubbed his ear clean.

Once she stopped screaming, Colette scowled at him before groaning, somehow regaining her composure.

She sent him a cold, calculated look as she tried to regain control of the situation.

"Zhey can be replaced..." She said as she stroked her hair behind her ear, trying to regain her poker face and composure.

"YOU ARE SO STUBBORN!..."Danny said as he tried something else to break her.

Something that might cause the crazy fake redhead to get cold feet and give up on blackmailing him.

He tried to find something else she was protective of.

"Maybe if I freeze her fake red hair so cold, it could fall off as if it was dripped in liquid nitrogen. Maybe that will make her realize that I'm not kidding around..."He thought, considering it.

"Well, I'm still waiting for you to say the right answer to my demands! Hurry, before it's dark outside!..." She said haughtily.

Danny frowned as his patience well just dried up by now.

"What are you doing?!..."She exclaimed.

"Keep it up and you're going bald!..." Danny warned.

"Hmph! You wouldn't dare!..." Colette said defiantly.

"Wanna bet?..." Danny challenged as he froze another piece of it.

Annoyed, he fired a beam into Colette's hair, freezing the lower half of it together into ice that wasn't heavy, but still noticeable.

Colette screamed and glared at him.

"DO YOU REALIZE HOW EXPENSIVE THOSE HAIR EXTENSIONS ARE?!..."She yelled, worrying more about her hair than her life at the moment.

The ghost boy immediately noticed something that the crazy French girl say hair extensions.

"Huh, Star was right after all. Nearly everything about her is fake..." Danny thought as he couldn't wait to inform his girlfriend that she was right again.

However, the fact that Colette didn't back down became apparent to him once more.

"Gotta hand it to her...she doesn't give up so easily..." Danny thought bitterly as Colette fixed her hair that was now shorter.

"If you think that this is enough to stop me. It iz NOT! I just need to go to the hair salon to make my hair perfect again!..." She said as she kept fixing her hair.

The ghost boy had to quick of another way to scare of the insane fake redhead and fast. Something so dangerous that there's no way she'd think he was bluffing.

"Okay, this is getting us nowhere. Gotta try something else..." He said, impatient.

Danny then thought of something drastic and decided to go for it, the ghost boy then proceeded grabbing a still screeching Colette, flying out of the room.

The crazy bratty French girl was about to find out how far the ghost boy is willing to go to protect his secret, his friends and especially Star.

He had one other idea on hand, hoping that it would work.

Elsewhere

The Manson family had arrived home, arguing the entire time.

"I'M TELLING YOU, I DIDN'T DO IT!..."Sam yelled.

"You cannot weasel your way out of this, young lady!..." Pamela said, angry.

"Your mother is right, you're grounded for life now!..." Jeremy shouted angrily.

"I can't believe this! How can you really have so little faith in me?!..." Sam yelled, actually feeling hurt by this.

"Look at your track record, Samantha. You can't call it squeaky clean!..." Pamela shouted.

"You constantly sneak out, your grades are slipping except for gym, you hang out with those delinquents you call friends and stoop to property damage when you get angry and jealous! It's coming to an end!..." Pamela said, scolding her.

"Your mother is right, Sam. We would have bought you any car you wanted when you were sixteen and had a license! What were you thinking stealing from your teacher?! ..." Jeremy said, eternally grateful that the police weren't being involved in this as he did not want to see his daughter in juvenile hall.

"You two are always blaming my friends! You never even tried getting to know them!..." Sam yelled, stomping her foot.

"That's because they're nothing but trouble! Why couldn't you just hang out with the nice kids of our friends that we tried to introduce to you?!..." Her mother yelled, stomping her own foot.

"I DON'T EVEN LIKE THOSE SPOILED BRATS! STOP TRYING TO CONTROL EVERY ASPECT OF MY LIFE!..."Sam yelled.

"Enough with all overly dramatics, Samantha. You are to stop this phase this instant!..."Pamela said.

"Honestly, is it really that difficult for you to believe that we simply want what's best for you? Try to be a little more reasonable!..."Jeremy said, trying to have a conversation with his daughter.

It didn't work, Sam just became angrier and lost her temper.

"UGH! Talking to you two impossible! Neither of you have ever even TRIED to understand me, so these talks are pointless!..." She yelled before marching away.

"Don't turn your back on us, Missy!..." Jeremy yelled but was ignored.

"So stupid! You'd believe it was me if someone wrote my name in crayon next to a crashed car!..." Sam yelled as she slammed her door shut.

"GO TO YOUR ROOM!..." Pamela yelled.

"I'M ALREADY IN MY ROOM!..."Sam yelled before slamming the door again.

Loudly!

Jeremy and Pamela were angry and worried.

"What are we gonna do with that child?!..." Pamela said, angry and devastated.

Both of Sam's parents were at there wits end and mentally expected in dealing with her difficult and uncompromising behavior.

"I don't know. I just hope boarding school can help with that rebellious phase of hers or or else we might only be able to see her on the other side of glass once a month!..." Jeremy said, sounding distressed.

He would do whatever it took to keep his daughter from seeing the inside of a cell and if that meant she hated him more than she already did.

"We have to fix this or we're never getting grandchildren at this point!..." Pamela said, sounding distressed.

"That is horrifying!..." Jeremy said, wondering what would become of his family's fortune if Sam became the last Manson.

And he had just started his new supermarket for extra income. He found it so unfair.

All he wanted to do was raise his kid right.

Ida drove in and gave her two cents, not caring if no one asked for them. She had disappointing look on her face that was aimed at Jeremy and Pamela.

"Well, doesn't this look like the picture perfect family with smiles on every family member's face..."The old lady said sarcastically.

"Mother, not now!..." Jeremy said as his mother pointed at his face, not done with him.

"Don't act so dismissive to me, young man!..." Ida said as she rode in the room, ferocity on her face.

"I can act how I want in response to my daughter committing a crime!..." Jeremy responded flatly.

"How can you believe this garbage?! You have no proof my grandbaby did it!..." Ida said, sounding peeved and disappointed.

As she usually did with her son's choices in life.

"We saw the pictures!.." Jeremy said.

"HORSE FEATHERS! I don't even need to see them to know they are phonies!..." Ida said.

"And remember that MY name is on the deed to this house and all our property. So listen up! I say when you and your wife have had enough!..." Ida said as she rode in, circling around the Manson parents.

It was made obvious that Ida was the one who wore the pants in this family.

"Yes, Mama...you've been reminding me of that since I was Sam's age. And you know exactly what I did so I wouldn't be under your roof!..." Jeremy noticed Ida wince slightly but didn't care.

He was already at wit's end to care.

His mother, however, kept berating her only son.

"Jeremy Mordecai Manson, you have made a lot of stupid choices in your life, but this takes the cake!..." Ida said, massaging her wrinkling temple.

"I highly doubt that parenting my difficult daughter could be considered a mistake..."Jeremy said, not understanding what she meant.

"I wouldn't call this parenting. It's blindly jumping to conclusions and making a mess of everything!..." Ida said.

"Mother, please!..." Jeremy said, upsetting her.

"Please what?!..." Ida went.

"Please stop, it's my daughter we're talking about here. I wanna save her before she ends up behind bars!..." Jeremy said while his mother shook her head.

"I can't believe it...you're really going to believe an anonymous source over your own daughter!..." Ida criticized.

"Mother, I'm not going to even ask how you know what happened..." Jeremy said, tiredly. "I don't want to fight with you..." He added as his mother continued.

"The Fentons called me told me what happened. Including you insulting a man who had done nothing to you and trying to assault him over some words! I raised you better than that..." Ida lectured.

"No, you didn't..." He responded with a scowl.

Ida pinched the bridge between her two eyebrows in frustration of her son's.

"And here I thought you marrying this nitwit woman over that nice pharmacist girl that I tried to set you up with was the dumbest thing you ever did, but it seems that I was wrong..." Ida said, crossing her arms.

"EXCUSE ME?!..." Pamela snapped.

"You heard me, my boy wasn't always bright but he got worse thanks to you! Now look at what you've done!..." Ida snapped.

"What I..." Pamela tried to protest but Ida stopped her.

"SILENCE, you whiny little spendthrift of a woman! I'm talking with my boy! Now zip your lip, before I zip it for you!..."Ida snapped.

"That was uncalled for, Mother!..."Jeremy yelled, standing up for his wife.

Some part of Ida was impressed that her son stood up against her for his wife, but she just hoped that Jeremy's choice in women was better than Pamela.

It was no secret to anyone that Pamela and Ida never did see eye to eye with one another. Neither had buried the hatchet yet and showed no signs of doing so any time soon.

"When you chose her, I didn't push you since I tried to respect your choice since you did seem happy with this moron...but I still feel that you should have dated the girl I actually wanted you to be with. Not only was she polite and a hard worker but she was my best friends kid too and she was smart enough to keep you out of trouble!..." Ida said, ignoring Pamela's scowl.

"I DIDN'T DATE LORELAI BECAUSE I DIDN'T LOVE HER I LOVED PAMELA!..."Jeremy yelled angrily." And that's my wife you're upsetting!..."He yelled, stomping his foot.

"The same wife you're raising my granddaughter poorly with!..." Ida said.

"Says you. We're doing what's right!..." Pamela yelled.

"And you stop acting like you're Sam's mother! That's Pamela and I'm her father. Those Fentons apparently believed we were dead and you were the only one raising her..." Jeremy said, arms crossed.

"You didn't want to ever meet them in ten years. Your exact words were that you had better things to do than meet with the rabble..." She said quoting her son.

"I never told the Fentons anything about you and nothing you said about them without ever meeting them..." Ida said, frowning.

"I didn't NEED to meet them. I just knew they were bad influence because they showed up on the news. That just makes sending Sam off to boarding school less expensive..." Jeremy said.

"You sure this isn't an excuse to send her to the man and mold her into the dress up doll you wish she'd be?!..." Ida accused.

"How dare you?! We're trying to look after our daughter's well-being! I am keeping my daughter from making bad choices!..." Pamela yelled, sounding truly hurt and offended.

"By making her leave home to go to some exclusive private elite school, so that she'll be easier to parent without having to put in the work for it?! By taking away any other choices she could have?! By making her obedient to the man?!..." Ida went.

"Mom, the age of the beatnik is over and you still think the man is a thing!..." Jeremy yelled at her.

"Excuse me?!..." Ida shouted.

"For the hundredth time, there's no central figure to fight, just a complex network of interrelated forces whose actions are beyond anyone's control! The sooner Samantha learns that, the better!..." Jeremy said.

"Also, how do you KNOW what's best for your daughter when you only talk to her when you're scolding her or pushing your opinion on her? Or trying to make her wear those frilly eyesores you call dresses?!..." Ida questioned harshly.

"Don't act like you know what's best for Sam...you still think you and dad, may he rest in peace, are better parents than us!..." Jeremy yelled at her.

"We're trying to raise Sam the way she should be raised! So that she doesn't become a immature hooligan like her grandmother!..." He yelled, enraging his mother.

"Don't you take that tone with me, Mister! You aren't too big for me to spank you!..."Ida said, raising her cane.

"And you're too big to act like a wild teenager!..."Jeremy said with fists at hips.

"Oh, think you got your big boy pants?..." Ida questioned like she'd slug him.

"Mother, this is no time for your jokes. We have much bigger worries that involve Sam, right now..."Jeremy said, trying to act like a serious father.

"Oh, so you think you can talk back because you're worried for my little Bubbeleh!..." Ida argued, with her arms crossed, wanting to see for herself how serious Jeremy and Pamela are.

"YES, I'M WORRIED ABOUT MY DAUGHTER'S FUTURE! ITS BAD ENOUGH SHE ISN'T EVEN TRYING TO FIT IN WITH HIGH SOCIETY BUT NOW SHE'S ACTING LIKE SOME PETTY THUG OUT OF NOWHERE AND IS GONNA GET ARRESTED AT THIS RATE!..." Jeremy yelled, much to Ida's anger.

Ida couldn't believe that her own son and his wife still believed the words of false evidence instead of trusting in their own daughter's word that she's innocent.

"YOU DARE THINK SHE'S GOING TO END UP IN PRISON BECAUSE SHE DOESN'T FOLLOW THE RULES?!..."The old lady argued.

"YES, I DO! SHE'S RUINING HER LIFE! SHE CAN HATE ME FROM NOW UNTIL THE END OF TIME FOR SEPARATING HER FROM HER BAD INFLUENCE FRIENDS BUT I LOVE HER AND I'M TRYING TO DO WHAT'S BEST FOR HER!..."Jeremy yelled.

"YES, THIS IS PARTIALLY YOUR FAULT! YOU'D ALWAYS UNDERMIND OUR AUTHORITY AND WOULD PROBABLY LET HER GET A TATTOO, A FAKE I.D. OR DRIVE WITHOUT A LICENSE! I CAN'T STAND IT ANYMORE! SAM NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND THAT THE REAL WORLD DOESN'T ACCEPT DELINQUENCY OR PEOPLE WHO DON'T CONFORM TO WHAT'S NORMAL! THEY CHEW THEM UP AND SPIT THEM OUT!.." Pamela yelled.

"SHE NEEDS TO FOLLOW THE RULES OF SOCIETY TO FIT IN, BUT NOW SHE'S CRASHING CARS AND WHO KNOWS WHAT ELSE! I DON'T WANT MY CHILD TO END UP IN PRISON WITH A LIFE SENTENCE OR IN THE ELECTRIC CHAIR! IS THAT REALLY SUCH A WRONG THING FOR ME TO WISH FOR, IDA?!.." She yelled further, sick with her mother-in-law constantly butting in on their parenting.

"Probably to a so-called free spirit..." Jeremy added harshly.

Ida could see with her own eye that both Jeremy and Pamela were deadly serious and that they truly were trying to look after Sam's well-being...in their own unique way of course.

A way she found did the opposite.

"So yes. We're sending our daughter to a PROPER school where she'll learn to conform to the role in society she was born into, then she'll marry a fellow member of her social class and will love a HAPPY life and NOT rot in prison like her reprobate friends!..." Jeremy said.

"We're even considering moving to London just to keep a closer eye on Sammy and to make sure she really fell in line and met the proper people, so she can become the proper lady her birth designated her to be and you keep DISCOURAGING her go become!..." Pamela said, glaring at her mother in law.

"Because Sam DOESN'T want to be some prissy little princess in overpriced dresses! She is her own person and you can't keep forcing your own views on her and turn her into some air headed plastic doll!..." Ida snapped.

"Well, it's far better than her having no future or ending up on the streets!..." Pamela snapped, sick and tired of her mother-in-law and her horrid influence on Sam.

As soon as they'd found the right boarding school for her, Pamela would talk to Jeremy about finding a retirement home for Ida. She didn't seem to recall that, since her mother-in-law owned the place where they lived, she couldn't force Ida.

However, right now Pamela's focus was current on arguing with her mother-in-law. So her plans to send Ida to a retirement home will have to be put on hold for later.

"And don't think for one second that either of us have forgotten that time you dressed up as Sam to cover for her sneaking our after curfew!..." Pamela snapped.

"And that's not even the worst example of your crazy antics!..." Jeremy said, earning a glare from his mother!

"If you two don't like the way I run things here, then get jobs, move out and become FUNCTIONING MEMBERS OF SOCIETY instead of just mooching off the family fortune or starting stupid businesses that are destined to fail because you are too lazy to do some honest work for once in your life! Oy vey, Jeremy! If your Daddy was here today, he'd be ripping what remained of his hair out!..." Ida said, so upset that she briefly fell back to her old family accent..

"Don't you dare pretend that Dad wouldn't agree with me! Dad actually acted like a proper person of high society and don't act like you two wouldn't have argued about it!..." Jeremy argued.

"I admit that your daddy was a little stuffy and can be full of himself at times, no argument there...but he was an HONEST man and he worked hard as a doctor and took good care of his patients. He also knew when to put himself in other people's shoes, though I had to remind him at times. He might have been born with the silver spoon in his mouth, but he did more with his life than spend money and always donated to charity when he could. He was part of the community and did his part to help make it better than he found it, unlike you two!..." Ida pointed out.

Her late husband, Mordecai, was one of the few upper class people she could stand.

He came from an affluent family with lots of business and political connections, though he chose to become a doctor and dabbled in some investments on the side. Mostly in pharmaceuticals and smaller scale restaurants.

They met when they were teenagers and had a bit of an "opposites attract" kind of romance that eventually lead to marriage.

Ida originally couldn't stand him, but he was attracted to her wild spirit and chased after her for years. Before she gave in and gave him the benefit of the doubt and never regretted the day she made that decision. He could test her patience at time and can put on airs, but he had a good heart and she still missed him to this day.

Her son, however, sadly wasn't anything like his late father. He only inherited her husband's worst traits and few of his good traits. And right now, one of those is a very audible voice.

"That's besides the point that we're talking about! Stay on topic!..." He said, trying to stand on point in the conversation.

"This discussion of ours is about Sam, not us! So don't you dare try to distract us by changing the subject!..." Pamela said, not forgetting about Sam's recent overly rebellious attitude.

"The fact remains that Sam's OUR daughter and if you want to be allowed near her, then get on board or get out of our way! We are the ones raising her and have the authority on where she will go to school, who her friends will be and whether or not her grandmother is allowed to see her! Your name might be on the deed mother, but ours are on Sam's birth certificate because WE'RE HER PARENTS! IS THAT CLEAR?!..." Jeremy shouted.

Ida, however, had a response.

"She's not going there because you think she crashed a car. You should give your daughter more freedom like I did you!.." She argued.

Her son then sported a bitter look on his face as memories of his youth flashed through his mind.

"Oh yeah...freedom of getting in trouble with the law, while I had to bail you out. Freedom of waiting until 6 in the morning for you to get home. That was wonderful..."He said sarcastically.

"Hey now! You grew up with something my parents never gave me! You grew up with actual freedom!..." Ida snapped.

However, to her surprise, her son looked even more furious than before.

"I grew up every night thinking you'd end up in jail! I spent my 16th birthday from morning to night wondering where you were and found out 2 days later that you and were helping a friend escape to Mexico because he tried to steal from the bank because they refused his loan or whatever!..." He said, veins popping out now.

"Oh, you think you're a big boy because Mama had other priorities?!..." Ida argued, hating being put on the spot like this!

"Yes, priorities bigger than being a mother, apparently!..."Jeremy said scornfully.

"All I did was give you a chance to learn self-reliance and become your own person!..." Ida tried.

"All I learned is that your beatnik and hippie gatherings were more important than being a mother!..." Jeremy shouted in resentment.

Ida was hurt by this, but her anger was clouding her judgement right now.

"How dare you?!..."

"Its true! You did the exact same thing with me that you've done with Sam! You were barely there, you let me run around like a wild hooligans because you didn't want to stop having fun to bother being a parent!..." He shouted.

Jeremy saw the hurt look on his mothers face but he didn't care it was because of his mothers and the Fentons influence Sam was ruining her life.

"You think you know me so well, huh?..." Ida said, angry and hurt.

"I know it because I barely had a mother then and now!..." He spat, venom in his voice.

Ida looked horrified before scowling.

"I'm going to let that go because you're clearly upset about Sam. Now, I'm going to my room and hope when I see you that you never snap at me like that again..." Ida said before leaving the room.

Pamela, seeing how tense this was, cleared her throat. She was the angry and hurt look on her husband's face and tried to say something to him.

"So... shall we get some facials and messages to deal sway with the stress?" She suggested.

"No... not tonight..." Jeremy said as he walked away.

The Manson home was clearly not a peaceful one this night.

Unknown to the adult Mansons, Sam heard the whole thing and looked conflicted.

"I never thought Dad saw Grandma like that. Is...is that why they can't accept me for who I am?..."She said, feeling unsure how to respond to this.

She didn't know what to think.

All she knew was that she had to meet up with the others and clear her name.

Back with Danny

The ghost boy was disappointingly surprised that the crazy fake redhead hadn't waved the white flag of surrender yet.

It would seem she isn't as big of a coward as he hoped.

"Why wouldn't she give up already?!..." Danny thought, getting frustrated that she actually made Vlad seem sane!

He tried to think of something else to break her.

"Maybe if I freeze her solid and place her in a box that he could ship to France and he'd never see her again. But then I'd have to figure out a way to keep the ice around her from melting during the trip..." He considered but then thought that it was too complicated to pull off.

That and she'd sooner die of hypothermia and he didn't want to have any blood on his hands, including hers.

"If this doesn't work, I'll have to make things more stressful for her..." He thought at increasing speeds.

Danny flew high up into the air holding a shaking Colette, letting his ice powers coat the fabric around his fingers. His eyes glowed a cold blue so cold that it could freeze fire as he glared down on her.

"Still want to hold hands with me?..." Danny questioned, coldness in his tone.

"T-T-This i-is is not e-enough!..." Colette shouted, teeth chattering from the cold.

Danny rolled his eyes, getting increasingly tired of this. He then decided to to try another bluff.

"You made a mistake threatening my friends and my family!..." Danny growled out coldly.

"You're going to delete every gigabyte of footage on me, destroy those pictures of Star and confess that you framed her, Sam, Tucker and Jazz or I'll freeze you in a block of ice and bury you so far beneath the ground, no one will EVER find you!..." Danny threatened as he used powers to spread ice more and more across the air around Colette's body.

Colette shivered in fear and from the cold, but sensed that he was bluffing.

"You are aware that doing so would draw some suspicion on you once people question my absence?..." She pointed out.

Danny looked away, not wanting to admit her point as he tried to find another option.

He could just chuck her into the ghost zone, but knowing how annoying she was, his enemies would chuck her back than try to waste him for polluting their dimension. Maybe he just didn't care anymore? No, he did but not about her.

Stella may be in denial about Colette's true behavior but he didn't want her to be horrified by what he'd do to her.

He continued to menace her.

"I'll figure something out!..." He said as he continued to threaten her.

Colette looked between the ice and the ground as fear started to fill in her eyes.

"What'll it be Colette confess or freeze? It's up to you!..." Danny threatened.

Despite her fearing for her life, Colette smirked as she placed all of her hopes on her poker face to get her out of this, that and actually finding this side of Danny attractive.

"He's so cruel and ruthless. Its so dreamy! I see now that anyone who crosses us will suffer!..." Colette thought lovingly, still determined to claim him.

If anyone could compliment anything positive about Colette, it's that she was a gambler. Not necessarily a smart one, but a gambler nonetheless.

"You think this scares me off? If anything, I admire this side of you more..." She proclaimed, half stubborn and half infatuated.

"You won't find it so admirable for long!..." He snapped, eyes and hands glowing.

Anyone else would be scared, but Colette still found him attractive this way.

"My, my Mon amore. I can see how you scared Grandmama. It's a very convincing performance, but that's all it is. A performance.." Colette said, not believing Danny would go too far.

"You don't truly have it in you to hurt me and even if you did it, this wouldn't save your friends and deep down you know it..."She said, while the ghost boy frowned.

"She's braver than Beatrice. Darn it, what do I do now?..." Danny thought, as he was running out of threatening ghostly bluffs.

However, he refused to give up and decided to try out a different scare tactic that he thought that he'd never have to use until now.

One that would risk her life but perhaps put enough fear in her to make her get the picture.

"'Fine, you've given me no other choice..." He said, deciding to use the most powerful scare tactic.

This would hopefully work.

"What do you mean?..." Colette questioned, getting increasingly uncomfortable.

Danny flew fast zipping through he skies, ignoring Colette's screams of terror. The ghost boy would be lying if he said that he never though about doing this before.

Thankful her screams were being drowned out by the rushing wind their speeding through.

"Watch..." He said to her despite her screams made it difficult to hear him.

He phased back into Fenton works, down into the basement to the lab. He opened the portal while the spoiled brat struggled in his grasp.

"What are you doing, Mon Amore?! Stop?..." She asked, afraid she already knew the answer.

"You're right about one thing, Colette. Freezing you won't get my friends out of trouble but I'll make sure you can't do anything more..." He said coldly, eyes glowing with hatred, sounding far too serious for a teenager

"What do you mean?..."Colette asked, sounding frightened, his grip too tight to break free from.

"Best case is that she'll get stranded and go insane for real and when I come back to get her, she want nothing to with me ever again..." He thought, hoping for some kind of miracle like that will happen.

"You're about to see where the ghosts live..." Danny said, still somewhat bluffing.

"Mon amore...You...you can't...you're not actually going to kill me are you?..." She asked, her poker face now scattered as her fear can be seen on her face crystal clear.

"I won't become him. I won't become him but she doesn't know that..." Danny repeated in his head like a mantra

Danny didn't answer. He just turned on the ghost portal and grabbed Colette by the wrist.

Quickly pressing a few buttons and slowly opening up the metallic gates that leads to the Ghost Zone. Before he threw her in, he wondered just what would happen.

"Best case scenario..."He thought, thinking she'll eventually annoy the ghosts into sending her back.

DAYDREAM

Danny chucked the spoiled brat into the swirling green portal to ghastly dimension, all while, ignoring her pleas.

"That should hold her for now..." He said in relief.

Dusting his hands off, he went to close the portal.

"Easy part done, now I got to figure out how to get everyone off the hook..." He said, about to press the button.

However before he could close the portal, Colette was chucked back out, landing on her butt.

"Vils fantômes!..." Colette said in anger.

"What the heck?! How'd you get out?!..." Danny complained loudly.

Poking their heads out the portal were Ember, Johnny, Kitty the Ghost Writer, Klemper, the Box Ghost and just about every ghost whose ever been around Colette. They all looked peeved too.

"What were you thinking throwing her in here?!..." Ghost Writer said.

"Dude, our dimension isn't your trash can. We don't want her in here..." Johnny said. "She'll make the Ghost Zone even more ghoulish and not in a good way!..." He complained.

"Yeah, Danny, not cool. Someone like her is gonna go somewhere way worse when she croaks..." Kitty said, pointing down at the spoiled brat who looked offended even if she was still scared out of her wits.

Danny looked down before nodding in understanding.

"So we REALLY don't want her where we quote unquote live, then we're all gonna storm where you live and throw the biggest riot you'll ever see in both your life and afterlife..." Ember said, being semi-serious.

"Quite right. She's a heartless shrew. I couldn't come up with a more hateful villain if I tried..." Said the Ghost Writer with a sneer at Colette.

"Even I don't want her for my friend. She's so mean!...Klemper added with a pout.

"Her dreams were beyond horrible..." Nocturne added with disgust. "Even I wouldn't want to harvest them for energy..." He added.

"You're the ghost of sleep, can't you just put her on an eternal sleep and ditch her on some dark void?..." Danny asked.

"What part of I don't want to harvest her dreams didn't you understand, ghost boy?!..." He shouted.

Danny sighed in frustration.

"Ok, how about this..." He said in a diplomatic tone. "You guys live in an endless void that's bigger than Earth itself, right?..." He asked.

His enemies nodded.

"So couldn't you just open a random door, ditch her in whatever place she lands in and forget she's there?..." He suggested.

"We could. But we don't want her in our world..." Kitty said, and the others nodded.

"She makes Spectra seem pleasant by comparison..." Ember added "And we all know how much of a narcissist she can be..." She added, as the others kept voicing complaints.

"Beware Danny Phantom, should you ship to our zone this container with such a polluted soul... we of the ghost zone will unleash an unpacked terror unlike any other..." The Box Ghost said as dramatically as possible.

"... yeah, I'm in a hurry... so what does that mean in a language that isn't box puns?..." Danny said.

"In English, you bring her back...We move out and take over your town... and we won't be nice to the previous tenants..." Johnny translated, ticked.

"GOT IT?!..."All the ghosts said, their eyes glowing red with fury.

Rather than scared, as these were weaker ghosts he's dealt with, Danny rolled his eyes in displeasure.

"Got it. Understood..." Danny said before shutting the portal closed. "Can't blame them, but now what am I going to do?..." He muttered in irritation.

End of daydream

Danny shook his head in frustration. That was the best case scenario.

"Worst case?..." Danny thought, thinking that if things get any worse than they are now and he does throw her into the Ghost Zone, then there's a small chance the ghosts will do the unspeakable.

He imagined a tombstone with Colette's name on it, along with a mourning Stella and Jean Luc crying over her grave.

The ghost boy thought and it and sighed, deciding not to go that extreme, since he'll only regret it later.

"Okay...that's too far...even for someone as rotten as her. Plus there is a chance she might come back as a full ghost and I don't wanna deal with Empress whatever her face was again..." He thought, making a face before getting an idea.

"Maybe I can still bluff and scare her into thinking that might enough to get her to back off..." He considered, deciding to go for it.

She doesn't know that he won't cross the line, maybe he can still make her think he would.

"Not to mention that it might give me and the other's some time to retaliate and do some damage control..." Danny added to himself.

"Last chance. Unless you want to either float aimlessly for hours or get eaten..." He warned.

Colette, on the other hand, continued using her poker face, this of course only served as fuel for Danny to up the ante.

"Well...?" He growled "There's only one obvious decision here, Colette..." He demanded.

Her response, however, was not what he expected.

"Indees there is, Mon amore. You'll be my boyfriend and live happily ever after..." She said, making sure that her scheme didn't go off the rails.

Danny was taken back by how easily she bounced back from that and lost his metaphorical footing. She saw through his bluff.

The ghost boy had to think quick and come up with something fast to regain the upper hand.

It was then he decided to go with a more forward way of threatening her.

"Okay, I've tried threats... I've tried sending you to the ghost zone...so now I'm out of options I'm going to kick your butt...He yelled, trying to sound like he had lost his mind.

Danny rushed forward, grabbing Colette.

"Well, as much as I like a strong man, I rather you hold my hand instead of my designer shirt in a more romantic setting..such as a restaurant or a hotel room..."She said, worried about her shirt getting wrinkles just as she's concerned about her safety.

"EWW!..."Danny went, holding back the urge to gag.

"I'm so going to be sick, I rather eat one of Aunt Alicia's baked possums an than that, at least the former is WAY less disturbing!..." He thought, trying not to lose his lunch.

Danny had to step up his acting skills up a notch to get through to the fake redhead. However, he wasn't sure how much of this was acting anymore as he was getting angrier.

He pinned her up against a wall, holding up a fist. Making his fist glow an ominous shade of green.

"Now tell me where you hid the copies, delete the footage and pictures now...and leave me, Star and all the people we care about or I'll resort to do something not so heroic!..."Danny punctuated his point with a punch by her head.

The ghost boy then stared a threatening and glowing glare at the rotten rich French girl to show that he's serious. This act definitely made the self-centered French girl sweat a very cold sweat.

However, she wasn't going to give up.

"You won't do it... we both know you'd never live with yourself if you go too far..." She claimed as Danny threatened a punch once more.

Colette flinched, closing her eyes. However, when she opened them, she was blinded by the glowing fist that had an anger heat coming off it.

"Wanna bet?..." Danny asked angrily.

That definitely made Colette's spine go cold, she still tried her best to stand her ground. Even with her legs shaking out of fear for her life.

"I do..." She said, closing her eyes.

"The things I do for amore..."She thought as she tried his bluff.

Danny anger slowly ebbed away as he realized something.

"One bad decision might turn me into... Him..."He thought. "And that's a promise I'm never going to break..."

With reluctance, he powered his fist down as he let her go.

Colette smirked devilishly, mentally relieved to the point where if it weren't for her act, she'd be crying on the floor.

However, she continued to gloat.

"Ah Danny, Danny, Danny, you're a true hero just like ze movie about ze very strong redhead from ze early 2000s..." She said mockingly, recalling how she had to sit through that annoying drivel once with Pierre.

"For our children zhey vill only watch movies I want to watch..." She thought arrogantly before she continued to taunt the ghost boy.

"Even after everything you claim I've done, you can't bring yourself to hurt me...or to really hurt anyone..."She said, knowing the classic superhero cliché would come to light eventually.

Danny glared at her hatefully. He hated to admit it, but she was right.

He couldn't bring himself to hurt her even if she had no qualms in hurting those around her and that's what made Colette all the more dangerous.

He'd rather fight the Ghost King again or deal with Undergrowth taking over once more than be around her any longer than a second, much less go on a fake date with the insane French girl.

However, he didn't have a solution at the moment.

Colette smirked, patting his cheek and smirking evilly.

"Also, if you really were the monster you threatened to be, you would have done something months ago..."Colette said, being cocky.

"Now put me down!..."She ordered.

Danny growled, before he dropped her onto the ground.

"Only because I don't want to stoop down to your level, Lady Fruitloop..."He grumbled, cursing his promise to himself not to ever be like his darker future self.

"I'm not going to become him, though I'm wishing I could make some sort of compromise right now..."Danny thought hatefully, wishing that he wasn't in this messy situation.

Colette got up and dusted herself off and unwrinkled her dress. She still had the audacity to smile.

"Don't worry Mon amore, I'll train that weakness out of you and you'll be a true Bevier and vill destroy anyone who stands against us. Especially those beneath us..." She said, looking forward to that possibility.

"THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN IN THIS OR ANY OTHER LIFETIME!..." Danny said in an icy tone, furious with Colette.

Colette just kept smirking and enjoyed having the upper hand again.

"I always knew that underneath that handsome, charming yet mediocre exterior, you were special, Danny. Just like me. You were meant for more than the mediocre life of a peasant your birth destined you for and much to my surprise, you have powers too. Icing on ze cake..."She said, 'lovingly', focusing only on the beneficial parts of him

"You do know it's the twenty first century right. There's no such thing as peasants anymore..." Danny snapped, annoyed with all the elitists snobs he's dealt with recently.

"And if my destiny is with any girl, it's with Star..."He said angrily.

Colette frowned but continued to act arrogant.

"I'M your destiny..." She said, snobbishly. "Estelle's destiny is to live lower than the dogs in the gutter..." She said cruelly, enraging him more and more.

"You're treading on thinner and thinner ice, Colette..." Danny warned, fists clenching.

His voice grew dangerously, sharpening like a knife. The only question was where it was pointing, but neither he nor the brat in front of him cared at out that.

And that was the problem.

"This thin ice does not concern me…"Collette kept a brave facade. "I believe this is where I say checkmate. You have played all your cards and I hold the winning hand…"She said, being braggy.

"Don't sing victory just yet..." The Ghost Boy said coldly. "I may not want to hurt you but that doesn't mean I won't let anyone else do the job..." He added, hoping that it would work.

Colette only smirked cruelly.

"That would also be against your hero code..." She sneered. "A fantasy I will soon fix after we leave this cesspool of a town..." She said, still believing that she had won.

"You can try and threaten and scare me, Mon Amore. But I know you will not kill me. Your conscious forbids it. You may try and shake me off, but it does not change the fact that I will never give up on our destiny. You belong to MOI now. Even if you destroy my phone and computer, I have made plenty of copies and left them all in safe places. You will never be able to find them all. So stop acting childish...before I decide to upload things online you do not want ANYONE to see!..." She said, threatening him.

Danny's fist clenched angrily.

"I'll find a way out of this, I always do. I won't let her win..." Danny thought confidently.

The spoiled brat just continued to brag and boast, as she bluring the lines of insanity and obsession. If it were not for the fact she was human, she might have been mistaken for a monster.

"And now Estelle no longer has her filthy brainwashing claws all over you, you can focus on things that are really important...like moi..." She said snobbishly as she gestured to herself in an overly dramatic fashion.

"I think that you're the reason for all stereotypes about French people being snooty jerks..." Danny said, glaring at her.

Colette ignored that remark.

"Now, if we are going to announce the good news of our love, I want it to be done in a big way. During Estelle's party, as you escort MOI inside, you will declare your love for me for all to see..."Colette said while smirking.

Already, the ghost boy could feel his lunch trying to escape his mouth out of protest from what he just heard.

The ghost boy then made an audible gulp as his expression cringed.

"I'd rather drink expired milk out of boot I pulled out of a dumpster. Hey a new one for the list..." Danny thought

"You really ARE insane..."He said while growling. "I'm legitimately questioning if you're somehow the Fruitloop's spawn..." He said, seeing more in common between.

"I do not know whom you are referring to...and frankly I do not care! You will not refer to me with any sort of insult...And do not mock my father by saying I'm someone else's daughter..."Colette said, with authority.

"You best learn to behave in case introduce you to my mama. My REAL Mama..."She said, being specific for her future groom considering all the ex-wives and girlfriends her papa had.

"I don't even want to imagine how nasty her mom is..." Danny thought, assuming she'd be just like her daughter.

Horrible. Snobby. Insane. Just as evil as Colette. He didn't know yet just how wrong he was. In the meantime though, he had to play by her rules.

"Now behave...Unless you want me to expose your secret and have Estelle's life ruined by these images finding zheir vay online, you will be a good little boyfriend and learn to finally start listening to me!..."She said cruelly, already treating him like a trained dog.

Danny glared at her before he nodded.

"Good, now we're getting somewhere..."She said, having a smug smile on her face.

"Keep talking and you're going somewhere alright... it'll involve doctors..."Danny thought.

"First things first. I'm going to go shopping for your new wardrobe that you vill be wearing starting tomorrow. Then we'll go to my party and begin work on your emancipation..." She said, sounding excited for an excuse to shopping and push off calling her papas lawyers!

Her tone made it seem like the ghost boy didn't have the option to refuse her plans.

Danny's eyes glowed green, his rage rising.

"You'll never get away with this, Colette..."Danny said darkly.

"I already have, Mon Amore..."Colette said while smirking.

Danny would have done something, but he knew that he was driven in a corner. For now at least.

"I'll have to play along... for now..." He thought, hoping to find a way out.

He found a way to beat his enemies before and he'd do it again.

Right now unfortunately it was better to play along and let the psycho think she'd won. He'll have to wait until she makes one mistake that he can exploit.

Colette check her expense looking watch and saw that she needed to leave before the elite designer stores close up before she gets there.

"Running late..."She thought.

Just to prove her "victory", Colette then grabbed Danny by the collar and smirked. She then made the demand that she had been waiting to say, since she got here.

"Now...why don't we...kiss on it?..." Colette said, enjoying the pain and misery she was causing her enemies but also getting closer to her ultimate goal of having Danny for herself.

"You gotta be kidding?!..." Danny said in disgust.

Colette glared at that.

"I NEVER kid, Mon Amore. Now, I said to kiss me...that is unless you want your secret to be on ze Friday night news!..." She said in a threatening manner, making it clear that this is not an option but an order.

"Not in this life!..."Danny refused, drawing a line that he would never cross willingly.

Colette glared but smirked evilly.

"That's fine, if you won't kiss me now, then...you'll eventually kiss me at the party, just remember that the more I wait for you to kiss me, the worse things will be for your friends...Hmmm...maybe I should start by posting the pictures of Estelle now..."Colette said.

"Or perhaps I can make a call to ze police zhat two shifty teen hooligans who look like Sam and Tucker stole my mothers prima purse and threatened to harm me if I talked..."She said, threatening him with a tone of innocent that the ghost boy can clear see is as fake as her hair with that awfully wicked grin on her face.

"You wouldn't!..."Danny snarled while horrified at how far she goes.

"We both know that I would..."Colette said in a mocking way.

"And we both know I do not care for your mongrel friends or your know it all sister. It'd be a shame if my father's watch was found in her room when ze police searched it even more if during ze search they found evidence she planned to sell it over ze internet..."She added, without a hint of remorse or empathy.

"Colette you're the devil!..." Danny growled out, glaring dagger at the fake redhead.

"You will refer to me as "My love" from now on in English or French. I'm not picky..." Colette ordered.

Danny was reviewing his statement now.

"She's actually worse..." He thought, appalled with her.

All this just made the ghost boy slightly shutter with more disgust for the spoiled rich French girl.

She's crossed the line of being irredeemable more than once, this took the cake. This girl made Vlad seem reasonable, at least he was somewhat reasonable when it came to Maddie. At least, he'd make a deal if he got something out of it.

Her glared more at Colette as her wicked grin grew into a sinister smile.

"I enjoy how we're alone now. Don't you?..." She said with that smile.

An evil smile just like Vlad's.

"As much as I can be..." Danny said.

"Which is not at all!..." He thought, while she just smiled.

"Wonderful. Now, kiss me Mon amore..."She said, practically owning him now.

The ghost boy angrily glared at Star's now officially evil stepsister. He would rather stick his head in a starving lions mouth, but he had no choice.

"If it'll make you leave..." He grumbled, wanting to speed this up.

He moved in closed his eyes and kissed Colette, albeit on the cheek. All the while, he felt ill.

"Yuck!..." Danny gagged, reminding himself to wash out his mouth with the strongest mouthwash out there.

Colette frowned, not satisfied.

"You call THAT a kiss?! Put some passion into it. Or else I vill make some phone calls to the police!..." Colette said in a demanding tone.

"Arrest me for what? Not kissing you the way you want me to? That's not exactly a crime..." Danny said with an eyebrow raised.

"It is to moi!..."She said until she took the initiative. "I can find a way, you should know that..." She said, wagging her finger.

Danny grimaced, really not wanting his lips anywhere near hers. Colette got more impatient by the second.

"Remember who will suffer if you don't kiss me!..." She said, reminding him of her threats against his friends.

Danny kissed her again, this time on the forehead. She lost her patience again and decided to take matters in her own perfectly manicured hands.

"Zhis is vhat you call a real kiss!..." Colette said, grabbing the ghost boy by his shirt collar again.

She yanked him forward into a one sided lip lock, one that Danny nearly barfed into as she then started pinning him against the wall.

"Forgive me, Starlight!..." Danny thought, knowing he had no choice.

He kissed her back. It was wrong. It was sick. It felt like it was killing him with every second he did it. But it was either that or his friends and family would suffer more than they already are and his secret would be exposed.

"Finally. I've finally won!..." Colette thought in triumph, savoring the feeling as she enjoyed every last second of this

Once she was satisfied, Colette pulled away and smiled while Danny had an angry and humiliated look on his face.

Danny also reminded himself to throw his guts in the nearest trashcan then grab his toothbrush and brush for hours once the fake redhead left.

Colette just looked pleased while Danny was trying hard not to lose his lunch and run away.

"That was everything I imagined, Mon amore. Better than I remember..."She said, clasping her hands happily.

"What I'd give for some mouthwash right now!..." Danny thought as he chose to say nothing.

"Well, I must be going now. I'll be seeing you at Estelle's party. Seeing you leave it with moi, that is..." She said with a smile.

The way she worded that it'd be obvious to anyone that it wasn't an order, the ghost boy wanted to yell but knew he shouldn't at the moment.

"Yes, you will..." Danny said, feeling enslaved all over again by a witch but this felt even worse than that other time.

It was like with Misty all over again, only this time the witch wasn't being manipulated by her psycho ancestor and she didn't have a conscience.

Colette hugged him tightly.

"Say that you love me... or else I will never let..." She demanded.

The ghost boy did know enough French to say that much, but refused to give the fake redhead the privilege of hearing and speak any form of French.

"As you wish...my love..."He said, the words feeling like he was throwing up something nasty.

Colette smirked and pulled back.

"Don't worry, in time you'll see that I was helping you..." She said with a nasty smile.

"Not very likely..." Danny thought, glaring at her.

"Au revoir, Mon Amore. I shall be calling you later...and it iz in your best interest to answer my calls..." Colette said, kissing him again and making Danny's gag reflex nearly give up.

"Ze beginning of our fairy tale life after begins today!..."She said, delusional.

With that, Colette left, blowing a kiss at him before shutting the door.

Danny took in a deep, unpleasant breath.

"What do I do now?!..."He thought, hating everything about this.

One thing was clear to the ghost boy, though it was more of a list of things that were clear.

He needed to regroup with Star and his friends as soon as possible for him. Second, he desperately needed and wanted to rinse out his mouth with mouth and hot water before doing number one. Third, he needed to find a solution to this problem.

However, the ghost boy felt nauseous and realized he needed to handle another issue.

"First things first...gotta puke...and disinfect my lips..." He said as he ran to the bathroom, where he emptied his stomach and remained there for moments.

"I can't believe I miss Ember, Kitty, even Misty kissing me right now..." He muttered, before he went back to puking his guts out.

Now... on finding the answer to his bigger problem.

Stopping Colette.

Okay, so to sum up everything that just happened Colette knows his secret, framed his friends, his girlfriend and sister at school, threatened to get Sam and Tucker arrested and is way to stubborn to yield to his threats.

Was he forgetting anything?

Oh yeah, Colette also planned to introduce him to her mother one of these day. A meeting that the ghost boy was NOT looking forward to.

'She's probably an older version of Colette!..." Danny thought, horrified with a shudder imagining two Colette's.

Thankfully, Colette, in her cockiness, made the mistake of telling Danny that she framed his friends and sister.

All he had to do was find out how she did it and expose her to Ishiyama and Lancer.

The bad news until he did, he'd have to pretend to be her boyfriend.

Danny felt queasy just thinking about it

"Oh man!..." He said, before puking again.

It'd be a nightmare but when he beat her, he could finally say goodbye to the crazy stalker.

At least, that is what he had hoped.

Until then, the ghost boy kept puking his guts out, hoping to find an escape from his latest torment and soon.

Elsewhere

"Finally!..." Vlad said, as he was in his lab, planning his eventual freedom from his marriage.

Soon, he'd be rid of that boorish woman and he could get back to winning the heart of his true queen Vlad thought as he turned intangible.

"Once that rings off, I'll vaporize her molecule by molecule..." He thought, eager for revenge and freedom.

Vlad's plan was foolproof.

As far as he knew, there was no downside. Granted, it did take a lot of time and money. It'd taken him several hours and several million dollars but he had what he needed to get rid of Alicia and make her take off that accursed ring.

"I'll savor her suffering, for how she made me suffer..."He thought, rubbing his hands in anticipation.

It was brilliant in its simplicity.

He would show Alicia just how mismatched they truly were, she'd remove the ring and he would be free to be rid of her and destroy every last molecule of the shaved grizzly bear in women's clothing.

Then he could kiss Alicia goodbye!

"Kiss?!..."He thought as certain memories flood his mind.

Vlad immediately regretted his choice of words as he got nauseous, imagining her terrible lips on his and all the other atrocities that Alicia had done to him in what he felt was a torturous long time with her.

Running to his laboratory's lavatory, he unleashed his stomach contents and groaned, hoping he won't have to do this anymore.

"As soon as this farce of a marriage is over, I WILL make Maddie mine and our fairy tale life will begin..."Vlad vowed before puking again.

Of course, that would be after his revenge on Puck for putting him in this predicament in the first place.
