Author's Note:

We are getting closer to the chapters where everyone, and soon the rest of the dogs will all meet up with Phineas and all his friends. I will start to do the summaries again, and possibly add them to the previous. This chapter is a two-parter.

Chapter Summary:

As the Ohu army waits to intercept the Leader's captive, they wait at the Stadium while observing a play based on their history. Meanwhile, a real and ironic battle takes place at Gajou between Boris along his fellow agents versus SICO's forces, paralleling the Ohu soldiers versus Akakabuto, himself decades ago. Will SICO attacking forces have a similar outcome for them as Ohu, or will the agents of the criminal organization lose?

Previously…

After taking a stand against the hunter Liam O'Cracken and Hari, Valiant defeated the robotic Doberman, Hari. Liam was banned from all botanical gardens and authorities are searching for him. Phineas' cover as a secret agent was almost blown. The agents and soldiers had agreed to wait to intercept to rescue the captors of Hawk and the Leader, Echo, following with the upcoming play project, because the play and Pageant use the same stadium. At that time, Alpheus's cousin, Hannibal, was invading Futago Pass with his 400 followers, having all communications in the area scrambled so his Double Agent status wouldn't be blown.

Ron and the agents were determined to protect Gajou against the group that was spying there… however, they could not contact for any more reinforcements as their communications were cut… and there would be more invaders on the way…

The Kai-Dog brothers and Sisters, led by Kurotora, had appeared with more agents… Kurotora had arranged a plan with these agents to ensure that the outcome of the upcoming battle would not be as it was when Genba attacked 14 years ago…

That late afternoon, Phineas, as he waited for his intended mission to officially start that night, convinced his siblings and friends to allow the play to proceed, despite his injured leg, which they thought was more recent the day prior… as Gin, along with more dogs unites with Valiant.

Chapter 10: That Is Irony, Norm Part 1 of 2…

End of Akasuka Botanical Garden Nearest to Tokyo

Valiant's P.O.V.:

After I explained all that happened at the Botanical Garden after relaying all we know about S.I.C.O. to O.W.C.A.'s three agents, Perry, Sheila, and the young recruit, Phineas, and our encounter with Liam the Platypus Hunter and Hari. Kevin barked, "Wow, that sounded like it was an intense encounter… I mean a colossal boomerang?" I nodded, replying, "Yes, yes it was... Liam almost killed Phineas, but he was stopped much the same way as last time according to Perry." Kyoushiro barked, as we turned to him, "Phineas' cover was almost blown if it isn't by now. Sheila said he was not a good liar, and his family might learn that he is a secret agent if they ask him about the hunter or the scars on his leg." Jeremy looking at the pond added, "But Phineas is famous among the humans, it'll be hard to find him a host family to relocate to. The Amnesia-Inator or anything that erases memories had been red taped to all heck by Mayro Roger Doofenshmirtz." Kyoushiro barked, "And Sheila explained because of that, if he gets relocated, it will have to be among us." I turned, replying "As much as I don't want him to be torn from his real family, I will certainly welcome him if it comes to that." I would certainly hope Phineas manages to avoid that scenario. Not that I don't want him, he still has a family and hasn't lost them like other human-turned-animals did, Ron and Mark come to mind.

Then I heard the voice of my great-great-grandfather, Gin. "Weed, Valiant, Jeremy!" and turning to see him with three more dogs, as they jump down, one of whom is a white Saluki, a black Weimaraner with scars over his eyes, and a grey-and-white Greyhound mix. Kevin barked, "Hey, it's Gin!" with Ken and Kage also barking, "And Cross, Bat, and Kite." But then he noticed it was only the three and Kevin asked, "You only brought 3 comrades, Gin? Weren't you going to gather more?" Gin responded, "Relax, Kevin. I met local OWCA Agents and informed them of the situation and they made their way to Ohu. We need to increase the numbers we have there… strange sending monkeys there, the irony of it." Jeremy nodded, Cross came up to me, and barked, "So, you're Valiant, you do look like Gin and Weed, and your father, Echo." I wagged my tail and bark, "And you're Cross, nice meeting you." She smiled and barked, "I may be the oldest here, but I can still fight." And we heard Bat bark, "I sensed you have gathered hundreds of dogs yourselves! Impressive." I turned to Bat and nodded, Bat continued, "Valiant, along the way, we have gathered information. Alpheus has gathered nearly thousands of subordinates. That's counting the SICO agents." Kite came up and added, "However, there's a moment of weakness in his chain of tyranny. I heard that the leader is being…" I finished the sentence for him, "I know, he's being taken to the Tokyo stadium and will be there tonight. We intend to intercept and rescue my father and Hawk, with the help of the Agents, who will, if needed, take on Locogisu and whoever is with him." Gin closed his eyes, impressed, and barked, "You knew this already… I'm proud." I nodded and directed them to Ace and barked, "Ace was my informant about that part of SICO's master plan." Ace stepped up and replied, "Glad to meet you, Gin, Bat, and Kite." They nodded. Gin barked, "Well, I guess you intend to wait and execute the rescue." I nodded.

Tenken came up to us, "We don't have to wait in this spot." We turned to him, and Gure asked him, "Where can we wait without getting too close to the city." Tenken walked to the end of the trees and replied, "OWCA has a room reserved for Agents and their allies, like us. We'll be close to the rendezvous point, once Phineas' and his brother's historical play concludes, he won't have to wait for us long…" he turned to us, "Don't rush out the VIP room and attack the marionette, they aren't real." Kagetora replied with a scarf, "We can tell the difference between the real bears and the marionette ones. We wouldn't ruin the play and compromise the following mission before it starts." Tenken turned around and barked, "They will be convincing, knowing Phineas and Ferb." Gin, my great-great-grandfather, walked up, "The closer we are at the rendezvous point without setting off the humans the better… OWCA has provided us to be very close to it as we wait to intercept the captives…" he turned to me and asked, "Should we wait in the woodlands or wait at the place our allies at OWCA had set for us?" I think for a moment, one will be closer, but risk being seen too early, the other farther and may risk missing the window as we make our way there, after a moment of thought, I looked up and barked, "Let's head out." Tenken directed us to a hidden path that agents know of, tunnels that lead to the OWCA reserved room and another leads to the rendezvous point, besides, I am curious about the visual representation of our history in Phineas' and his brother's historical play.

Gajou

Kurotora's P.O.V.:

It was now raining heavily, and it was beginning to be hard to see through this weather, my nephews and nieces were on the top of Gajou, and Boris the Bear agent, and the bird and monkey agents behind them, they are on the lookout for Hannibal's army, Nobutora was the one in front, I was at the base next to Ron, Akame, and Brook, I look out towards the field, and I barked, "Nobu! Do you see anything?" I heard Nobu reply, "No. Not yet." I gloated as I looked, "Hannibal's army? Give me a break. I'll kick them all over the place." And I laugh with confidence that this will not end up like last time. I heard Nabu barked, "Uncle, they are coming!" I looked back at him, asking, "Yeah? How many?" I heard him gasp, yelping, "Hey, this can't be real...!" Nabu and I looked at each other as he barked, "Uncle, it's a huge army. A huge, huge army!" I barked, "What did you say!?" and ran to the top to see what he saw and turned to see and barked, "Hannibal's army is double the size as when Genba attacked." And I see Hannibal, and walking by him are a Shepherd Chinook Mix and a… white rabbit? A rabbit wearing a smug smirk on his face and a backpack.

Yaritora, one of my nieces hunched forward, and barked, "Granduncle, what do we do?" I answered her as I looked forward at approaching enemies, "What to do and how… Being born a Kei-Dog means we can never turn our back on foes!" I stood up tall and continued, "We will face them straight and cut them through!" and with determination, then I growled directing towards those behind me, "You guys ready?" they all answered with "Aye!" And one of my nephews, Harutora, answered, "We were raised by you, granduncle. So, I'll use my life for you!" I sighed, looking down, remembering that is what Shouji had once said to me as I replied, "Well said, Haru." I turned to my nephews, nieces, and my friends from the Agency that Jeremy had sent here, and my ironically close friend since the Werewolf Attacks, Boris, having a bear agent on our side, being a close friend is just pure irony. Looking at each of them, I barked, "Listen up. You fight, you fight, and you fight through it!" During the werewolf incidents last, Izo, Kichinosuke, Miu, and Shusaku had become the New Big Four, I continue to order, "Even if it's only one of you… Whoever survives must get to Mutsu." My niece, Yaritora, asked, "Mutsu?" I looked up into the sky and answered, "If you go 30 kilometers to the north, you'll meet our old friends. They are called 'The New Big Four.' They were a great help against the werewolves." I turn to face my nieces and nephews, "You must inform them about this absurdity…" gesturing my head over my shoulder, now referring to Hannibal, "…and of his betrayal against OWCA and by extension, his betrayal against Ohu." And I looked to my friends from OWCA and said, "And you'll protect this place against them." Everyone replied, "Without fail." I turned to the side, looking at them all, laughed, and barked, "You are all reliable, bunch." Again, looking at Boris, the irony is not lost on me. Never would I have thought that I would ever rely on any bear with anything, especially to protect Gajou. And yet, Boris is a close friend entrusted with this… HA! Let's see if the enemy's army can do what we did years ago, HA, HA, HA!

I turned to face past the approaching enemy, towards the path to Mutsu as I barked, "Today we will create a new legend! Just like Akatora did. One that will be passed on through future generations!" And then I heard Brook bark, "Stop speaking nonsense, Kurotora!" and Akame adding in, "Have you forgotten what happened last time?" I turned to the two, and Akame barked, "You are making the same mistake as last time." Brook came up and barked, "We might have a bear on our side, but that might not be enough!" Ron turned to the two and gasped, "Akame-San, Brook-San!" I growled to the two Ninja Dogs, "Of course, I haven't forgotten, and never will, I am not senile. I have made arrangements to ensure that never repeats!" Akame ran closer to the fortress and barked, "Arrangements? What arrangements?!" Boris turned them and answered, "Just trust us to this you two!" Brook turned to ask my nephews and nieces, "You all, too?" I can sense that they looked at each other and nodded. As I looked down, closing my eyes, I barked, "I'm sorry, Akame… Sorry, Brook. As I said all those years ago, unlike Ninja-Dogs like you, the river is like the River Styx to Kai-Dogs. We can't turn our backs and run away… There is no escape." And then I heard Nabu barked, "Uncle, they are here!" I looked in the direction of the enemies, and I saw Hannibal, and at his sides were the aforementioned Shepherd Chinook Mix and White Rabbit. I heard Boris grunt, "Hey!" I see Boris tensing his claws before he growls, "That's Dennis the Rabbit, and Zen the Shepherd Chinook Mix! How the heck did they escape O.W.C. ?!" Three traitors, eh?

I see Hannibal, whom nearly everyone, mainly younglings trusted during the werewolf attacks. However, I was always suspicious of him, and it looked like I was right to distrust this guy. The traitor began to boast, "Kai-dogs?" he chuckled, "They are nothing but pushovers." I hunched over and growled, "You tidal wave of idiots… You'll regret proclaiming war with us." I say this to everyone here, "All of you, get ready!" I heard Hannibal growling, "I even gave them a warning… Those idiots. It's too late to cry or beg for forgiveness." And then Hannibal begins barking, "All of you will die…even Boris the Bear. Don't you think since you have a bear on your side that you'll maintain Gajou!" and Dennis adds in folding his forelegs with that smug, twitching his whiskers, "Despite the ironic trust you have in his strength, he'll die with the rest of you!" I narrowed my eyes at the rabbit for having the gull to say that about my friend, "And despite your confidence, you'll wish you've never left O.W.C.A, because you will be a meal, Dennis the Rabbit!" I then laughed at the three, "You three are such blockheads you make me laugh!" Zen looked at Hannibal and barked, "That old coot is mocking us!" Hannibal, baring his teeth, snarled as he replied, "Yeah, I can hear that." I turn to Hannibal and bark what I always thought of him, "You may have fooled everyone, but I have always known you were untrustworthy! You have that aura about you! I can tell just by looking at you, that you are a descendant of Hougen. You are the spitting image of him, after all! I see that the rotten apple doesn't fall far from the tree! And as a rotten fruit, you are just as much of a worthless muck as your great-grandfather was!" It looks as if I had struck a nerve there as he growls before barking, "Go get them! Go and drag those trash down!" Then his army ran at us, and Dennis's backpack… transformed into a… bear size mech! Rabbit mech, but still bears size one. No matter, it won't be the first time fighting a bear-size foe, I can see Dennis in the dome. Just pull him out of it, and he's dinner.

I heard Brook barking, "Ron, come here!" and Nobutora came up to me as I chuckled, then barked, "Alright, Nobutora… not yet. Once they've all gathered up front…" see the enemy's army came up closer, "…and then, all at once…" but then Nobu knocked me down the slope, Brook stopped me and I looked up at my nephew and barked, "What are you doing, Nobutora?!" Nobutora answered, "I won't let my granduncle who raised us die." I growled back, "Neither will I allow my nephews and nieces to die!" I saw Yomatora barked, "Brook-San, take care of our granduncle! Please escape!" As Brook nodded and while picking me up, I heard Boris grunted, "That's my cue!" Everyone turned to Boris and barked, "What!?" and Boris, looking at each of my nephews and nieces, replied, "There are aquatic OWCA agents ready to take you five to safety, as well… Sorry everyone." As Boris carefully pawed them off to the river below, Akame barked, "That the arrangements you were talking about?!" As Brook and Akame jumped down, I replied, "I told you it won't repeat!" as we landed in the water, with Brook holding me I saw two hippo Agents, one holding my nieces: Yaritora, and Raito, the other holding my nephews Harutora, Nobutora, and Yamatora, as I turned to them they all barked in unison, "Is this what you meant granduncle?!" I barked back at them in my reply, "I was not about to let any of you die like Shouji, Buru, and Dodo did!" and everyone fell silent after that as we continued to find a spot for Brook to put us back on dry.

Boris the Bear's P.O.V.:

After the Kai-Dogs and Ninja Dogs went to the river below, I grunted at Ron, "Ron! Don't hesitate, go on!" I heard Ron bark, "I'm an Ohu soldier, too!" and followed the others as he jumped into the river below. After that, one monkey agent turned to me and whopped, "Time for the greatest of ironies as we protect the home of our Ohu friends." I nodded and replied, "Now that we can fight freely." And I looked down at the rogue agents' forces running at us, "Here they come." I see Dennis in a mech, as he will be my opponent, for him, all I need to do is to break him out of the cockpit, easier said than done. I turned to the bird and monkey agents, I growled, "Everyone, with four hundred of them, there's little chance we all will survive. With our charges on their way to their destination, we will maintain their home as long as we can." The agents replied in unison, "Aye!" As the enemy got closer to us, I roared, "Let's go!"

Narrator

Battle sopped with irony has commenced, agents who are the same species as the old foes are protecting Gajou for the dogs of Ohu. These agents sent here thanks to Jeremy, are fighting with such bravery, and pushing their enemies off the slope.

General P.O.V.:

Jen and Choco, and Yama and Gale, were walking along the river in the gouge near Gajou, rain slowing down. Choco turned to Jen and asked, "Do you think the others are alright?" and Jen replied, "Of course, they are. We all took on the werewolves after all. Not to mention that Akame fought in every confrontation from Akakabuto to the werewolves, and now, even against this S.I.C.O., whatever it is, will be taken down." Choco then barked, "I wasn't doubting them, I'm just concerned, is all." Yama then barked, "Well, this is unprecedented, when we get to the point where we face the top leader of S.I.C.O., Gin said that we have to make an exception for whoever this Coronel is…" Yama then interrupted barking, "Hold that thought…" directing the others' attention upstream, "Someone is coming from the river!" Gale turns to Yama asking, "No way, at this time of night? And it was thundering earlier, too." And turned and saw Brook with Kurotora in the river, behind them were two hippo agents, one holding the two nieces and the other holding the three nephews.

Kurotora's P.O.V.:

My grandnephew asked me, "Granduncle, why didn't you say anything about this!?" As I was struggling to keep my head out of the water, I replied, "In the words of Akame: I had no choice. This was the only way I could do to save…" Before I could finish, as a Kai-Dog, I was unable to stay upfloat, and I sank to the river bottom, Brook dove underwater held me by my neck, and took me to the riverside. As we got out, I didn't say a word. The only thing I could think of was that I had avoided losing more nephews and avoided losing Nieces. And then we heard Jen, Choco, Yama, and Gale barking "Akame-Sama, Brook-Sama!" as we stood up, Brook barked, "Jen, Choco, Yama, and Gale!" Jen barked as they ran up to us and asked, "Are you all alright?!" Akame answered as the hippo agents unloaded the nephews and nieces onto the riverside, "We're fine. But keep an eye out for Ron." And then as we turned to the side, Brook added, "He should have jumped in after we did…" and then saw Ron climbing unto the riverside and barking, "I'm right here, Brook-San!" Jen barked, "Ron!" and Brook praised the human child-turned-pup, "Ron! Well done. I'm proud of you." If my plan didn't work, I wouldn't be thinking about how well Ron adapted to being turned into a dog, at all. I turned to the hippo agents and nodded, they tilt their hats to me and left.

Then my niece Yaritora walked up to me and barked, still mad at me, "Why didn't you tell any of us about the arrangements you've made with Boris?!" I barked, "I didn't because you were as stubborn as Shouji, Buru, and Dodo were." Nothing else to counter with that, she walked back to the group head down, while still giving me her angry expression. As I turned facing the river and barked, "I promise myself that day won't ever happen again when you were born." I turned my attention to them over my shoulder, "I wasn't about to lose any of you." Then my nephews and nieces sighed, Yamatora walking up to the side of Yama, "I supposed we should head and get to The New Big Four, then." I nodded, and they nodded as they began to run to Mutsu.

I looked to the others still here as Ron asked, "What about Boris?!" I chuckled at the irony and replied, "Those invaders had no chance against a bear, not even Dennis and his toy." Akame then asked, "What's so funny?" I suppress laughter to get in an answer, "Boris and the monkey agents will be protecting Gajou, after the conflicts with bears and monkeys in the past, it is now bears and monkeys, with some predatory birds, helping us…" I chuckled, and leaned in closer to them, "…Don't you see the irony in that?" I couldn't hold in my laughter, no one joined me, but I didn't doubt Boris one bit. He won't fall to the likes of Zen, Hannibal, not even Dennis, and that overgrown toy.

Meanwhile, in Tokyo…

Phineas' P.O.V.:

After checking me out of the client and getting another prescription for antibiotics for the claw slashes, the doctor, who also secretly works for OWCA, convinced them that Liam did that with a robotic dog, and they tried to get me to tell them what happened at the gardens, the vet told them it was patient-doctor confidentiality, and I wasn't comfortable talking about it, knowing that being a poor liar with obvious tells will blow my cover as a secret agent. I want Candace, Ferb, and Isabella to respect that I do not want them to inquire any further about my scars, with them believing it is because of patient-doctor confidentiality. I can't lie, but omitting is a workaround if they don't pry. I caught myself almost giving him a thumbs-up by mistake, so I gave him a nod and the hand-over-arm gesture that means the same thing in Japan. Looks like I don't have to cover it anymore. Scars like these won't be completely healed. They would be present forever… but how would my scars be affected if I changed back to human? Will that still be the case?

As we checked out of the Tokyo Veterinarian, Candace looked frustrated as she's been trying to call Mom, "Ugh, why isn't she picking up?" she turned to me, saying, "I got to tell Mom and Dad about what happened to you at the Akasuka Botanical Garden." Isabella walking by me as we walk back to the hotel, "Are you sure you don't want to tell us what happened, Phineas?" I shook my head, chittering with stress, "No, I absolutely do not want to talk about it." Ferb adjusting his animal translator, and adding, "I know it must be a stressful experience, first you were framed using clones by whoever it was…" I twitched my ears as I couldn't tell him the culprit behind that causing me to stiffen as I did not want to conversation to continue, "…Then that Liam guy tried to hunt you, Perry, and those dogs… he may have been an hired bounty hunter, and it might be the same person behind those clones who had hired that hunter." Candace behind me, after attempting to call Mom and leaving messages for her and Dad added, "It might be Mittington Random, if anyone would have grudges against us, it would be him…" Ferb puts his finger on his chin suggesting, "Or Khaka Peü Peü." Isabella couldn't take her eyes off my scars, and added, "No, I don't think he has the means to make clones… it might be those supervillains…" Candace added, "If any of these are the case, these would have happened regardless, but at least the frame jobs won't stick on his record as much as they would have if he was still human. I mean, I heard horror stories about the innocent being framed despite being declared not guilty and will still have the charges haunt them for a long time." I stopped walking, looking down with Perry and Sheila in their pet mode looking at me with concern, and Ferb, Candace, and Isabella noticed I was not moving, turned around as they looked at me as I pleaded with them, "Please, I don't want to talk about what happened or who might be behind it." They sighed with Ferb replying, "Okay, patient-doctor confidentiality, right?" I nodded, the vet will inform the superiors what happened, "Okay, I guess when you are ready, you'll tell us." I didn't reply at all, not risking any more questioning, they sighed, and Isabella then said, "I guess we should change the subject." I nodded as Perry and Sheila sighed with relief, for now, my cover won't be blown.

I started to pick up speed and chittered, "I still feel up for the play." Isabella tapped her animal translator asking, "Is this thing working, it sounds like you are still up for the play?" I nodded, Ferb looked at me as if to ask if I was sure, and I replied, "I am sure, the show must go on after all." And Isabella replied, "Okay, if you're sure." And we made our way to the stadium, and Ferb and I put on our costumes. It will be nice to get our minds off the recent event at the gardens.

Narrator

Phineas, Ferb, and their friends had gone with the historical play, with the detail they have gathered regarding the events of bear attacks, with respect, they have acted each role and shown it from the dog's perspective. Each dog and person from this history will be portrayed by them, using the sound devices for dog sounds as the play story demands. This historical play is being broadcast worldwide.

General P.O.V.:

OWCA, SCM Weaver, and Captain Fuji had used some security deposits to acquire VIP seats for the animal Agents and Ohu soldiers so they be at the stadium and watch the play while they waited for tonight's mission. Also, the play made some who are watching think back to the events portrayed and the events they personally were part of, bringing back memories, respectively.

The Historical Play begins showing the events of over 35 years ago

Daisuke, playing the role of his grandpa, began the scene with the first major hunt against Akakabuto, represented by a marionette, controlled by the Fireside Girls. The stage was covered with snow made from machines, prop trees in the background, and the band was playing Final Battle as the actors came running on stage, one of the kids was dressed as Shiro and Grandpa were searching Akakabuto, portrayed by a marionette controlled by strings hidden, and then grandpa was "attacked" from behind with the music transition to Terror, as Shiro were attacking the bear, Grandpa "shot" the bear, the animals stumbled to the back of the stage, appearing to fall of the cliff. Django, the historical play's narrator, says, "5 years has passed."

The play goes through the events, starting from the bond of Gin, played by Phineas, with safe dye and made to look like a silver-furred dog, and Daisuke, played by Thomas. The trials of Grandpa and Riki, played by the same actor as Shiro, being trapped, Gin witnessing Riki, after fighting Akakabuto being saved by Daisuke crashing the snowmobile into the bear, and Riki saving him and Gin before being knocked off the mountain. Django narrated "5 years ago, Shiro, Riki's father got killed. And now Riki, the father of Gin. And so begins the story of a fierce battle between Akakabuto and three generations of bear-dogs. Gin walked on silently with the fresh memory of his battle in his mind. To Gin, this was a cruel and unavoidable fate."

The play continues through the other events, the intense training of Gin, with Daisuke's disapproval of the training at such a young age and Gin's adjustment to it, and meeting John the German Shepperd, played by Ferb, and Hidetoshi who played himself, Grandpa having Gin go through more training with water, which Daisuke still disapproved. And the rivalry between Gin and John at a hunting spot, John seemingly stole the Fuji's pheasant. Hidetoshi revealed it was actually his, showing the prop gun, saying it was for use on Akakabuto, which Grandpa doubted would work on the bear. They covered the hunting expedition with what looked like the bear but wasn't and found out the evil bear has many offspring and he was building the fortress which later became, Gajou, and how Daisuke fell into a sinkhole in the snow and how Gin saved him, with Daisuke promising to repay him, Djangonarrated "Night is cold on the mountains in middle of March… Daisuke and Gin's hearts were bounded by friendship and trust."

Django narrated "Later in the spring, Daisuke began training with the bow after seeing Hidetoshi having target practices." The trophy props were temporarily provided by the man's own collection to add authenticity to the historical play and to get the actors' real reactions, even the one who set up the historical play project didn't expect to use real things. The scenes covered the training in a montage and portrayed the characters becoming stronger. Showing the trials, they've gone through. Even Daisuke and Gin start to hunt Akakabuto, who turns out to be the mate of Akakabuto, being as close to how it went down as conveyed by the man who experienced when he was the age of the boys behind the historical play. It covered his conflicting feelings of that day and disapproval of John killing the bear cubs. Even the parts of Daisuke trying to hide the fact he borrowed the bow and arrows, one of which was found forgotten, and Hidetoshi forbidding him to come back to the range shack, to protect him. Daisuke trades the snowmobile for his own bow and arrows after a challenge to the shopkeeper that he can use one. Later on, on another expedition, Django narrated, "Gin caught the same mysterious scent as before. Gin has wondered for some time now what that smell was."

The play continues with the first of Ohu fighting the bear, Django narrated, "Now Gin realized where the smell came from. It came from this dangerously, well-organized wild pack of dogs." Gin reunited with Riki, who does not remember him, "Gin wondered why the howling shook his heart. He was the great and charismatic leader of the pack. He stared straight at Gin. Gin felt the powerful gaze. It felt like flames in his eyes."

The play with Gin and John meeting first of the dogs of Ohu, Ben the Great-Dane challenging John, only to be attacked by a bear. They are about to fight, Ben reminds Cross no more deaths as they are forced to retreat, Gin joins up to meet with the leader. After jumping a huge gorge, on the way to get to the territory, Django narrated, "Gin jumped with all his might and used the wind blowing up from the valley and floated through the air. His light body received so much help from the wind that he flew much further than the wild dogs." they acknowledge him as one of them, allowing Gin to meet the leader. Before they did, they got into a battle with Madara after seeing John ambushed by him and Gin helping and chasing off Madara. Afterward, they introduce themselves and learn that Cross is the only female in the pack.

Gin joins the pack and gets into a dispute with the commandant, Sniper, and Hyena after Gin calls Riki's father, who doesn't recognize him, Sniper was once next in line, before Gin came, and planned to remove the competition. Then Gin left at night for a while to say goodbye to his old home, seeing Daisuke one last time as he found him sleeping in the shed of his own choice, waiting for Gin, said goodbye to his mother and John, then returned to the pack before they disembark on the quest to gather dogs to fight Akakabuto. The audience watching the play, although enjoy watching as much as one would enjoy a play based on history, are wondering how Phineas, the human-turned-badger everyone heard about, was able to get the dogs' perspective about these events without becoming a meal to them, they are still curious about their side, though. The play goes on as Django, the narrator of the play, tells the audience, "In the humid morning mist… The twelve dog platoons headed out, one by one. Some to the west, others to the east. They spread across Japan. But they all had the same desire in their hearts. To find more males. It was their call. Gin, chose not to think about whether the leader was his father, or not. His blood as a bear dog boiled at the thought of gathering males to defeat Akakabuto. He was filled with warm memories of his mother, and his friend Daisuke. But they were overwhelmed by the expectation that burned in his body." The play enters an intermission.

Southern Alps of Japan…

Doofensmirtz's P.O.V.:

When I looked up and saw that same shack that Rodney and I were sent to with the army he retrieved using his Historical-Army-Retrieve-Inizer, a copy of my inator, all I could do was ask Locogisu, "Why are we here, again?" Heisuke, as he exited the rental, replied, "To pick up two nemeses of a colleague of mine." Heisuke walked to the back as I heard the back door open, and a hovering cage followed him to the rundown shack on our level. Rodney and I exited the van, seeing dogs around us, Rodney asked, "You mean the Coronel?" as he folded his arms, "And why are we bringing his two nemeses to the LOVEMUFFIN Pageant of Evil?" Can't believe that I agree with Rodney, ugh. I then added my question, "Should he do that himself?" he stopped turned to our direction, and answered, "All will become clear at the conclusion of tonight's event." Locogisu then folded his arms and smirked, "He wants to keep up the mystery." I rolled my eyes as I remembered another villain, Professor Mystery, who was obsessed with being all mysterious and vague. Diminutive then got out of the car and ran up to us and added his two cents, "Yeah, I con… cur. Wait… HANNIBAL THE GREAT-DANE!?" as he pointed at the Great-Dane on the steps, seems to me a regular Great-Dane with white fur with black spot, on all four, as he walked down the steps. I don't know why Diminutive mistaken him for his Nemesis. The other contestants gave Locogisu sly eyes as he still smirked, who said "Oh, he's not Hannibal. He's his cousin, Alpheus." Yep, not Hannibal.

Of course, Alpheus, and thinking about it, Hannibal and him do have a similar aura as their ancestor… Hougen. I looked behind him and saw… gasp, "Shadow!? "I exclaimed, my old dog, remembering him and all the times we had, and he gave me the same look of shock, "Shadow! It is you!" we ran at each other, and it was like dogs being united with their long-gone person, well because that it is, he tackled me, licked me, I laughed, as I petted him, "Oh, Shadow! I missed you." With his respected minions barking questioningly at him, as he barked happily as I petted and stroked him, asking Shadow, "You became a villain? Like me? That's my boy!" and I heard Rodney saying, "Doofus Wartz, you had a dog?" and Diminutive added to hold up his index, "I thought you only had Ballooney and the cockroach." I stood up, and as I patted Shadow's head, I replied, "Well, I had a dog, too… I tell you about it when we pick up Locogisu's colleague's nemeses and on the way to the pageant…" Then I quickly shot a glare at Rodney and retorted folded my arms, "Doofus Wartz?! I thought we agreed not to speak of that day! That includes…" Then a loud and sharp barking from Alpheus made us jump, and then to him, as he gestured his head to the shack barking, we apologized to Hannibal's evil cousin.

Alpheus and Shadow entered the shack, Alpheus dragged an Akita, and Shadow pulled a German Sheperd, as Locogisu pressed buttons on his remote, the hovering cage lowered and opened as the two dogs tossed their respective captees into the cage, which closed and started hovering again. As the cage returned to the back of the van, which then closed, Locogisu said, "Now let's head to the event." I looked at Shadow, and I signaled him, "Come on, boy." But Alpheus barked at him and barked at the Pitbull as Shadow looked at me apologizingly as the Pitbull entered the backseat. I and Shadow looked at the Great-Dane who barked, Locogisu spoke up, "Come on Doof, if everything turns out well, you two will meet again later this week." He grabbed me by my shoulder and pushed me into the van as I said reluctantly, "I guess I will see you later?" Shadow nodded, I said, "It was good seeing ya!" Heisuke closed the door, and entered the van as Jekkin then followed the GPS to the Stadium.

To be continued…

Author's note: Isn't it great a dog reunites with their person, a person they haven't seen in years… it brings a tear to your eyes. Anyway, as I wrote this chapter, I found it was way too long, so I divided it. I would like some critique. Anyways, shadowayn is out… peace.
