Once Bio left, everyone stayed quiet as they heard her yell for a bit and a gunshot going off; before attending, everything went silent, making everyone panic internally. Before long, Bio came in, dragging Roman and Neo as Jnpr, Emerald, and Mercury followed behind them.
"Yo, I'm back," Bio said as she brought Roman and Neo up to the back and sat them down. Jnpr sat down next to team Rwby while Emerald sat next to Ashley, and Mercury sat next to Emerald.
"Bio... what the fuck just happened?" Ashley said while surprised.
"Language!"
"Oh well, you see... I went up and saw Jnpr fighting these two." She said as she gestured to Roman and Neo. "So I gave off a warning shot and told them to calm down. Only for Nora to use it as a distraction and bonk them on the head and probably knock them out."
"Okay," Ashley said rather bluntly.
"Really? Just okay? You're not going to question it?" Emerald asked her.
"Nope. I'm done questioning things after waking up here. Now, I will only question stuff when it involves the videos and what's happening in this theater," Ashley told her. "Are we going to leave them like that?" Ashley asked Bio.
"Yep."
"Why?" Zef asked her.
"No reason," Bio replied, " but you should explain everything to them. They look confused." Bio said before Zef explained everything to Jaune, Pyrrha, Ren, Emerald, and Mercury, while Ashley explained to Nora in a way she could understand.
"Nora, this is important, so listen to me carefully," Ashley said before pausing to process what she had to say. "That woman up there is the queen of this land and has god powers, and if we don't be nice, pancakes will be gone forever like they never existed, and waffles will only remain," Ashley said as Nora gasped loudly from the explanation
"Oh, my Gods, this must be our strongest enemy yet!" Nora said loud enough for everyone to hear.
"Right, so just sit down and relax. When she finds us a way home, we take it, okay?" Ashley said with a smile.
"Okay."
"Okay. So what are we watching now?" Ruby asked Bio while she smiled under her mask.
"Oh, this time, we are watching five demons become a nightmare for one of you~."
"Oh, sounds good... Okay, we're ready!" Ashley said before everyone sat down after a slight pause.
In a dark forest, a shining orb was seen floating away from something, only for Ren to use his magic to stop it from flowing away, letting him walk up and grab it. Only to soon be held up as he held up the orb.
"Drop it!" Blue said as he slowly approached Ren with two knives in hand while Mercury walked up with two curved blades.
Blue is a Daemos here with pale skin, Navy blue hair, a dull magenta eye color, and two small blue horns that point directly upwards. He was wearing a collared Navy short-sleeved shirt, his right arm had white bandages on it with a Navy blue glove, while on his left arm, he had gray and Blue armor, his belt was white, and his pants were Blue along with some Gray and brown armor boots.
Mercury had pale skin, white hair, gray eyes, and a scar on his right eye. He had two gray horns that curved out of his head upward. He wore black skin-tight armor, Gray and green armor and cloth, a yellow rope around his hips, and armored arms.
Ren had Pale skin, Dark raven hair, and pink eyes, while his horns were pink and curved outwards. Ren wears black skin-tight armor, along with a pink amulet on a chain around his neck. His coat is an emerald green with light green designs and sapphire trimmings. Maroon bandages cover his wrists while his belt consists of a red fabric and a beige rope, along with dark green pants.
"You heard the man. Now drop it this way!" Mercury said before Blue spoke up.
"Huh? What are we doing?" Blue asked while worried about hurting his friends.
"Seems like we're about to fight," Ren said bluntly.
"Over some dumb floating orb?" Mercury asked as he turned to look at Ren.
"Well, think about it. If it's something, you all are willing to fight for it. It must be worth a lot." Ashley said as Emerald and Weiss nodded their heads.
"I know it shouldn't affect me, but it's really weird to see Blue as a human-like that," Ruby said as she stared at Blue.
"Yeah, it's like seeing a friend you haven't seen in a few days go from a punk style to something like Ice Queen's style," Yang said as Weiss let out a: "Hey!"
"It's mine! I've rightfully courted it first!" Blue said as the three got into a standoff.
"You wanna try me?" Mercury asked as he tried to intimate them.
"Face me! I'm delivering it to Her Highness first!" Blue said as he slowly got closer. Just as the three were thinking about attacking each other, Zef came from the darkness with his eyes glowing as he slowly walked up to them.
Zef has pale skin and dark raven hair in a low ponytail, crimson-red eyes, and black that turn to dark purple horns that grow from the sides of his head and curve upwards. He wore black skin-tight armor, along with a robe that was gray with black and white details. There is also a light purple belt. On his right arm, Zef has a tattoo that spans his entire shoulder and steel armor on his forearm. His left arm is covered by one of his sleeves with a dark purple-colored pauldron, along with a dark Blue bracelet on his left wrist.
"Petty. The both of you. Truly, it doesn't matter who delivers it, as long as it's me." Zef said as Ren scoffed and threw the orb behind him.
"Catch," Ren said as Mercury got hit in the head with the orb before catching it before it could land on the floor.
"It's mine!" Blue yelled as he ran over to Mercury before trying to attack him with his blades. Just as Blue swung his swords down, Mercury blocked them in the nick of time.
While the two were distracted fighting each other, Zef tried to cast a spell on them to try and get them to stop.
"Freeze!" Zef said while casting the spell, hoping to freeze the two only for them to get out of the way.
Mercury dropped the orb due to the spell, but once the orb safely landed on the ground, Blue looked up and noticed it was right in front of him. Without a second thought, he rushed to it, yelling only for Ren to charge at him and slam into him, launching Blue away and into Zef. Just as Ren picks the orb up, a fireball hits him, making him use his body to protect the orb. As he looked around, he noticed that a ring of fire surrounded him and that someone was coming. Someone important made him kneel for them, and soon after, everyone started to follow his lead and kneel, forcing the fight to end and the screen turning black.
"Huh? Why did the fight stop? It was getting good." Mercury asked as he stared at the screen.
"Someone new is coming. Must be important like a shogun." Zef said while glaring at the screen.
"What now?" Yang asked as Ashley turned to her to explain what a shogun is.
"It's best to think of them as Great War old Mistral generals," Ashley said to her.
"So it will probably be someone like Professor Ozpin," Ruby said, sounding hopeful.
"Or General Ironwood," Blue said.
"Or Miss Goodwitch," Jaune said.
"Or me," Ashley said, making everyone stop to look at her confused.
"I will be scared if someone like you is in charge of the military. You would probably turn it into a giant safe factory and take everything over within a matter of hours of declaring war." Weiss said as she stared at her, making her pout.
"I can be a good leader."
As the screen changes, it shows the five kneeling to Ashley as she looks everyone over; before she can say anything, Zef stands up. Ashley has pale skin, no rabbit ears, long brown hair, sky-blue eyes, and white horns that grow from the front of her head and curve upward, along with a golden band around her left horn. She also wears black skin-tight armor, along with a fluffy purple and cream cape that is hooked on by a liver clip around her neck. She also has a symbolizing tattoo on her right arm and a golden band, bracelets, and bandages. On her left arm, she has silver and black armor, while her belt is purple.
"Wait, who is that?" Ruby asked as everyone tried to figure out who that was before Ashley spoke up.
"Holy shit, that's me."
"What, no way that's you. It's Velvet." Weiss said as she pointed to the screen while looking at Ashley in shock.
Bio soon descended from the ceiling while holding on to a rope like Spider-man and somehow her coat stayed in place.
"Actually, that is Ashley. That's her regular hair color and eye color. What did you think purple is a normal hair color?" Bio asked them as everyone stared at her.
"First, what are you doing? Second, what do you mean?" Zef asked her while shaking his head.
"First: Spider-man reference. Second: well, think about it: her eyes are fake and robotic, and having your skull open and stitched back up repeatedly. It doesn't really help your hair."
"Oi, I wanted to keep that a secret!"
"Your Highness, I can explain. We had obtained the soul when it slipped from our grasp and-" Zef tried to say, only to be interrupted by Ren
"We had a delay," Ren said as someone came out from behind Ashley.
"Well~ is it hot in here, or is it just me~?" Lady Salem asked as she stared Ren down.
Lady Salem is an older woman with a hunched posture. Due to her age, her hair turned white, with her once supposedly bright white horns looking weathered and grayish. A golden crown is present on her left horn; she wears a long white dress under a black hooded mantle with crimson trimmings, along with a very faded green robe that only reaches her ankles. She had gray globes and a brown can that looked more like twisting branches than any traditional cane.
"Lady Salem?" Zef asked, sounding a little surprised.
With that name, everyone turned to look at each other, wondering if the person knew who she was—all the while, Emerald and Mercury looked at each other, worried that this might get them in trouble.
"Hey! Is she flirting with my Renny!" Nora yelled out as she jumped up from her seat. Once she did, Pyrrha and Ren tried to pull her back down so she could sit down.
"Are we sure they aren't dating?" Ashley asked Emerald as she shrugged.
"Not now, Grandmother," Ashley said after sighing, only to turn to her and see she didn't look too happy.
"Silence!" Lady Salem said before letting out a hmph and speaking again. When I was queen of this land of Daemos, I could have your tongue for speaking back at me!"
"Why are you here?" Mercury asked as Lady Salem calmed down.
"That soul you boys obtained, you need to take it unharmed to the altar now, or we won't be able to use it." Lady Salem said while putting a big emphasis on the word: unharmed.
"It was a soul!" Weiss yelled out as everyone, but Roman and Neo (who were still knocked out.) stared at the screen.
"W...we killed someone for their soul," Blue said as he couldn't believe what he had done.
"Hey Blue, it's okay... I mean, there has to be a good reason for it. I mean, what if it's to save everyone." Ashley said as she tried to comfort Blue.
After she said that, Ren carefully put the orb in his bag for safekeeping.
"I mean, the person killed to get it was harmed, but-" Blue tried to say, only for Lady Salem to appear from a puff of smoke and hit him with her staff.
"Don't speak ill of the dead!" She said after hitting Blue before she cleared her throat. "Now, follow me. You'll be in the new world soon enough."
With that order, everyone started to follow behind her to a large dark castle as two purple wisps of energy circled until a magic circle appeared with the words: "My Inner Demons." appeared in front of it before fading away with the background as it changed to some lab with the floor having an interesting pattern on it.
Everyone stared at the screen in shock as they saw the castle. Even with the darkness making it hard for them to see it fully, they didn't care since it didn't take away from its beauty.
"My god..." Blake said while remembering reading about a castle like this in one of her books.
"It's beautiful. And I get to live in that?" Ashley asked in shock.
"I think we all do, princess," Mercury said softly, smirking.
"Awww, what? But I'm queen of the castle." Nora said while pouting.
Lady Salem was then seen walking to a table covered with potions, books, herbs, and an alchemy set on it. The five walked to the center of the room while staying out of the circle.
"The soul." Lady Salem said as Ren pulled it out of his bag for her to see. "Bring it to me, you handsome young man."
"Huh?" Ren said, dumbfounded.
"In order to transfer it into my potion, I'll need to hold hands with one who possesses one of light magic, and you just so happen to be my type, Ren~." Lady Salem said while winking and letting out a prrr once she said Ren's name.
"Hey! That's my Renny lady! Back off!" Nora yelled as she grabbed Ren and pulled him close to her in a possessive hug.
"Okay. Are you dating or not?" Ashley asked out loud as she stared at the two. "You're making this hard to tell!" Nora ignores her to glare at Lady Salem.
Ren coughs as he looks around for something to help him, only for his eyes to land on Blue.
"Uh... Blue... Take- Take it to her..." Ren said while sounding worried.
"Me!" Blue said, sounding surprised.
"You did say you wanted to deliver it," Zef said to Blue as he shook his head.
"I don't wanna hold hands with her! She's old!" Blue said, only for Lady Salem to throw a book across the room and hit Blue in the face. She was making him scream in pain.
"You ain't got any meat on you anyway, scrub!" Lady Salem said, sounding pissed because of Blue's comment on her age.
Mercury bursts out laughing after seeing Blue get hit in the face with a book, only to suddenly top as everyone turns to see Ashley with a pistol that looks to be one of a child toy styled after one of the Joker's weapons. Mercury was now sporting a large red cheek as a boxing glove hit him.
"Keep laughing, scrub! You're no better!" Ashley said as a few people laughed at it, only to stop once she heard a whistle go off, making her turn to see a yellow card on her lap.
"No fighting in the theater! Do it two more times, and you get kicked out!" Bio yelled as Ashley just shrugged and smiled.
"Worth it!"
"Mercury, take it to her!" Ashley said as she commanded Mercury.
"Pardon me?" Mercury said, sounding nervous.
"Did I stutter?" Ashley said while slowly taking a step to him.
"I... it's just..." Mercury stepped back, only for Zef to step in and stop them.
"Princess Ashley, do you think that is a wise choice?" Zef asked, making Ashley glare at him without saying a word. "Forgive me for questioning you, but Blue is the smarter choice. We all possess limited magic, and if anyone were to use the last of their magic for this, it should be Blue. Speaking tactics, Mercury is best at healing Ren can-"
"I don't care for your numbers!" Ashley said, interrupting Zef before turning to Blue. "Blue, do it."
"I don't wanna hold crusty Mema's hands in such a stupid lowest-ranking position!" Blue said in a whisper after sighing.
(A/N I have no idea what he said, and the script doesn't help either; it just said (Something); go check it out yourself if you don't believe me. It's the first episode five minutes in.)
"Huh, what did he say?" Ruby asked as she turned to Blue; he turned to her and shrugged.
"I think he said Mema?" Blake said while giggling softly.
"I think so as well," Ashley said while giggling. "Come on, Blue, you should hold Mema's hands."
"Stop it!" Blue said as he pushed her as she laughed.
Blue walks over to Ren and takes the soul from him before walking over to Lady Salem, avoiding the circle before reaching her while holding her hand and holding the orb. It grew brightly as it drained him of his magic, making him dizzy. Lady Salem didn't let go till it was done, and the glow went away.
"How do you feel Blue?" Zef asked Blue.
"Used..." He said with swirls in his eyes.
"And with that, the last spark of magic has fallen." Lady Salem said as she turned to them now with a glowing potion in hand. Ren let out a sigh.
"We really killed them?" Ren said while looking down.
"Do you really think this journey was worth us sacrificing the last soul?" Mercury asked Lady Salem.
"Perhaps. It depends if you, boys, and Ashley are successful. Let's not tell the high council what had happened this night. They currently believe the one who had the last soul is still alive and safe in seclusion; if they find out you all hunted it down, they'll have your heads. Not even Ashlsy will be spared." Lady Salem said as Blue groaned as he grabbed the sides of his head.
"There currently is a decent surplus of magic here on Darmos; it should be a while before it runs out. It will definitely give us time to survey the new world if we're smart about it. Blue, are you able to use any magic?" Zef asked Blue while squinting at him. Blue tries to use his magic, but only a slight spark appears, making him tear up as he looks at Zef.
"Gone," Blue said as all his magic was gone.
"It won't be long before the citizens of Daemos run out of magic themselves. Our councils can't provide any resolutions; things here will crumble. If Ashley wants to ascend the throne before-" Lady Salem said, only to be cut off by Ashley.
"Enough! Our mission is clear. We go to the new world and seek out new sources for magic, which means we take the new world by force!" Ashley said as Mercury spoke up.
"And we have to be smart about it. Blue is depleted of magic, and after you open the portal-" Mercury tried to say, only to be cut off by Ashley.
"I'm the princess. My source of magic is far greater," Ashley said, looking annoyed.
"But not unlimited. Creating this portal will drain you." Lady Salem said, trying to warn her.
"Ashley, we don't have to do this alone. You can always ask your-" Zef said, only to be cut off by Ashley as she didn't seem to care.
"Enough talk! I care not about the politics of Daemos nor the risk we are about to take. I would not be here sacrificing everything if I had any second guesses myself. Give me the potion, and let me cast." Ashley said to everyone as she looked around while Lady Salem sighed as she gave the potion to her.
"You're going in blind, Ashley." Lady Salem said as Mercury walked over to one side of the circle. Ashley stepped into it before turning around and giving a speech.
"My knights, if you are loyal to me, to the future, I vow to bring once I'm Queen, then follow me. I understand should you choose to remain. However, should I see you after you abandon me... Oh, I will kill you.
"Wha? A-Ashley!" Blue said, sounding scared.
Mercury, in an attempt to calm Blue down, puts his hand on Blue's shoulder and wags his head, hoping he will stop talking. Once he was done, Lady Salem walked over to Ashley and cast the spell, making the potion glow brightly, making it so that only they could see each other and not the room they were in. As everyone made a surprise sound, the air in front of them started to crack and break like glass, showing them a glimpse of the new world. Lady Salem walked over to it and waved her hands over the portal, offering words no one recognized, only for her to wave her hand over it again, so the words were in English, this time now spelling: "Earth."
"Huh, I can't read it; what does it say?" Weiss asked while Zef turned to look at her, confused.
"Weiss... it says Earth... in English," Zef told her.
"What's English?" Ruby asked, making all of team ASHH stare at her.
"... Holo, how long has the auto translator been on?" Ashley asked as she turned to Holo, who was sitting on her shoulder.
"About a year before we went through the portal," Holo told her.
"Huh... must have left it on... explains the power drain... oh well."
"I'm sorry you have what now?" Jaune asked, sounding surprised.
"E... Earth." Lady Salem said, decoding the letters so everyone understands what it means.
"It's beautiful," Mercury said as he stared into the portal before turning to Blue.
"We have to take over all of that?" Blue asked while not seeming worried about it.
"E-Earth. It shall be mine." Ashley said while mispronouncing the world as she walked through the portal. Everyone but Zef followed her, making Salem sigh.
"Zef, you're the smartest of them. Please, you know what to do. I'll keep things calm here as best as I can for my granddaughter. Please, do be safe." Lady Salem said to Zef.
"Of course, Lady Salem," Zef said while bowing to her respectfully before he entered the portal.
As he enters, glowing purple eyes appear from the darkness behind Lady Salem.
"Keep an eye on her." Lady Salem said to the creature. "Go."
As she said that, the creature went through the portal before it started to close, and the screen turned black.
"I pray to the gods. Please watch over them." She said, and the scene changed to show a pink alarm clock turning to Six A.M.
"Huh? Wait what? I thought we were going to watch some demons go and try and explore this Earth." Emerald said as she slowly realized something.
"Well, she did say that five demons would be bugging one of us. So this could be the last main character." Ren said to her.
"Hmm, wonder who it will be?" Ruby asked while humming softly.
Once it turned to Six, it briefly started its alarm, only to be quickly shut off as a hand reached over to hit the snooze button. Emerald has short Jade green hair with two strains that were kept long and had crimson-red eyes. Her pajamas are a grass green sweatshirt with a green cat, along with winter pine green pajama pants with various food printed on them.
"No." She said as she turned over to try and stay asleep. Only for her phone alarm to go off at 6:10. "No." she said again as she turned it off. Only for the phone to go off at 6:45. Soon, a black and white cat walked up, turned it off, sat down, and meowed in her face."Cute but not today." Emerald said, making the cat meow angrily before it went away. Soon, the phone went off again, this time at seven A.M. "Ugh! No!" she said as she turned the alarm off again before trying to fall back asleep, only to be soon woken up by her cat scratching her wall. "Huh? What the hell, you fricking jerk cat!" Emerald said as she tried to rush over to the cat to stop it, only to fall off the bed and onto the floor. "Ugh! I hate you, cat! Fricking- Ugh! You're so stupid, but I love you." the cat smiles as she looks down at Emerald.
"Wait, I have to deal with all of you! Damn it... well, at least I have Blue to help me." Emerald said as Ashley, Mercury, and Nora turned to her.
"Hey, I can't be that annoying. Mercury can, but not me."Ashley said as Mercury leaned over to look at Ashley.
"You are worse than me. At least I don't do shit that would try to kill me." Mercury said.
"Hey, those are important! At least I give people better weapons and money to help pay for stuff." Ashley said.
"Hey, Renny is a better help than that squid!" Nora said as Ashley got up.
"Nora, I love you... But don't talk shit about Blue, he's a great person and adorable and a good mascot." Ashley said.
"Hey! Stop calling me a mascot!" Blue said as Ashley turned to him.
"Where's my apology!"
2 hours later.
"Okay... is everyone calm down," Bio asked with a rolled-up newspaper in hand while she stood over everyone as they lay on the floor.
"Yes, ma'am." Everyone said as they slowly got up.
"Good... now let's get back to watching the video," Bio said as she started the video.
"How did she do that?" Ashley whispered.
As Emerald lies on her floor, her phone rings, making her sit up and look at it, making her jump onto the bed to grab it and answer it.
"Huh? Hello?" Emerald said as she stood on the bed while gibberish came from the phone. "Oh, it's you, Weiss. Heh, I don't know anyone who's excited to get a phone call at seven A.M.," Emerald said as she got off her bed and left her room. "In the morning on a Friday. Yes, I know. I normally sleep in, but I've got a job interview today." Emerald soon enters her living room while her cat follows her, and she looks out the window. "I just said I've got a job interview. I'm not interested in going to an anime convention on such a stressful day."
"Hmmm? What's an anime convention?" Pyrrha asked as Bio spoke up.
"Oh, it's... like a large place where people gather to show up in cosplay, sell merch, have fan meet-ups, and do other stuff. Tho I have never been to one," Bio said while sighing softly.
"Oh, so it's like a hunter convention then," Rwby asked brightly.
"... Yes, but replace Pyrrha with some 2D version of herself as a cardboard cut out and everyone dressing up at her... for example."
"I don't care if it's just down the street!" Emerald said, annoyed, as the cat walked off. "Oh, Weiss, I know I'm boring. But you're annoying, so we're even." Emerald said, but it didn't seem that Weiss understood her. "Nothing, nothing. I was just talking to my cat. I'm hanging up now! Bye!" Just as Emerald said that she hung up on Weiss before groaning. "It's too early to deal with life!"
Zef let out a sort as he stared at the screen.
"Heh. That is the feeling I get whenever I wake up to an explosion." Zef said with a smile as he turned to look at Ashley, Yang, and Nora.
"I know how you feel," Weiss said as she turned to Ruby, looking at her with a deadpan look.
"What?"
While distracted, her cat dragged her food bowl and dropped it at her feed before meowing for food.
"How did you carry that here? Oh, right, I ran out of yum-yum's for you." Emerald said before gasping as she realized something else. "I ran out of munchy scrunchies for me!" The cat didn't look happy about hearing that he was out of food. "Good thing my interview is at the grocery store." the cat meows again, hoping to get something. "Ugh, here, one second."
A second later, a pizza slice was shown in the cat's food bowl, making the cat stare at it before looking up at Emerald as she changed out of her pajamas and into some regular clothes. She was now in a dark green sweatshirt with short off-the-shoulder sleeves, black shorts, black and emerald green striped thigh socks, and brown shoes.
"I'm sorry, Johny. I'll get you two bags of Yum-Yum's, so you don't run out again, okay?" She said to the now-named Johny before she checked the time on her phone before gasping. "Okay, now I really gotta get moving! Uh... Johny, just trust me. Try the pizza, it's got tomato in it, which means that it's healthy! I-I gotta get moving!"
As she runs to the door, the cat stares at the pizza, wondering if he could even eat it. Just as Emerald opened the door, a straggly, blonde-haired guy stood outside wearing a cream shirt and blue jeans.
"Jaune?"
"Hey, Emerald. I'm here to collect rent and-" Jaune said, nervous, only to be interrupted by Emerald.
"Why is it that I'm the only tenant you personally ask for rent?" Emerald asks him.
"Hmmm? Does someone have a crush~?" Yang said with a grin as Jaune started to blush heavily.
"Yang! Don't tease Jaune." Ruby said while pouting at her.
"No, keep going. He's cute when he blush." Ashley said with a smile.
"Ashley!" Jaune and Blue said.
"I uh, um..." Jaune said intelligently as Emerald walked out and closed the door.
"Y'know, there are other ways to make friends without coming off as creepy, right? She said before she walked to the elevator.
"I, I'm not... I... Ugh! Stupid! Just ask her out already!" Jaune said to himself, but luckily or unfortunately, depending on your perspective, Emerald didn't seem to notice. Just as she gets in, Emerald hits a button to try and go down, only to stop as she realizes something.
"Ugh, darn it! It's trash day!" Emerald said before running past Jaune, into her apartment, and grabbing her trash.
"Hey..."
"Sorry! Trash! I'm busy!" Emerald said to him.
"D-did she just call me trash," Jaune said before blushing. "But she still talked to me."
"Small steps, vomit boy... small steps," Ashley whispered as Jaune hung his head while groaning as Phrrya rubbed her back. "What encouragement helps."
Just as that was happening, the Daemos were walking around Earth outside Emerald's apartment building, letting them look around as the creature was nowhere in sight.
"So this is E-Earth, it's-" Ashley tried to say, only to stop as she heard Blue screaming about something burning. As she turns to look at him, she only sees him not on fire but just screaming in pain.
"What's wrong?" Zef asked as he was worried about him.
"My skin is on fire!" Blue yelled out, only to fall on his hands and knees.
"Hang on, I can-" Mercury tried to say, only to start choking as his face turned purple.
"The air..." Ren said as he followed Blue's lead and fell onto his knee.
"I... I didn't expect the environment to affect us so much." Zef said as he struggled to stand while Ren got up and did the same.
"Saddles... I need them..." Blue asked while groaning as he crawled to them.
"Saddles? Why would I need saddles?" Blue asked as Ashley, Zef, and Holo shrugged.
"Hmmm, oh, maybe it's so you can ride them?" Nora said with a smile.
"Nora... you might be right," Ren said as he put a hand on her shoulder.
"Stay calm," Ren said, hoping to keep everyone's head level.
"Wise advice, Ren. The effect is wearing down slowly, but still, the air has a toxicity to it." Zef said while he and everyone else sweat bullets.
"Or maybe the humans here expected us coming," Blue said as he tried to rationalize what was happening.
"Humans aren't that smart, Blue. There's no way," Mercury said, only for Zef to yell out, making everyone turn to him.
"Princess Ashley!" Zef yelled out as it was shown that she was unconscious on the ground. Zef tried to go to Ashley only to stop because of the pain. "It's heavy."
"We... Need... To... Heal Ashley!" Mercury said as everyone tried to move to her.
"It's hard to move," Zef said, but just then, Emerald went to put her trash in the dumpster but stopped as she turned around to see everyone frozen in place while not realizing what was happening.
"Hey, are you guys alright?" She said, surprising them.
"Crap! It's a human!" Zef said to everyone who hadn't noticed her yet.
"It's got us cornered," Blue said, sounding scared.
"Don't show weakness," Ren said, trying to get Blue to try to make him brave.
"We could barely move!" Mercury exclaims to Ren before he speaks up again.
"Br strong. Hold your stances."
"Are you guys okay?" Emerald asked while sounding worried about them. Just as she spoke up, all the Daemos but Ashley turned to glare at her. "Uh... you guys got like Diarrhea or something? I-I..." She said before gasping as she noticed Ashley on the ground before she ran to her. "Oh my god! Are you alright!"
"It's touching, Ashley!" Mercury said while whispering as Blue kept whispering: "She's dead!" repeatedly.
"Your friend is not breathing!" Emerald said while panicking.
"Intimidate it!" Ren ordered as everyone stood up and drew their weapons, hoping to scare Emerald off, but unfortunately, it didn't seem to work.
"Hello?! Are you guys going to do nothing here?!" Emerald asked them. Only for them to glare at her. "Oh, for the love of- Ugh! I got this." Emerald said before she started to give Ashley C.P.R., Making everyone gasp at the sight.
"Hmmm, a love triangle?" Blake asked softly as Ashley turned to her, only to stop and look Emerald over before looking back at Blake.
"I'm okay with this," Ashley said as Emerald turned to look at her.
"Really?! You're okay with this!" Emerald asked as Ashley smiled, nodded, and winked making her blush.
"She's sucking her organs out!" Blue said loud enough for everyone to hear.
"Through her mouth?" Ren asked while surprised by the action.
"We need to act!" Mercury said in hopes of snapping someone out of it.
"Ren!" Zef said before Ren shook his head before walking over, grabbed Emerald by her shirt, and lifted her above the ground.
"What the heck?! What are you doing?!" Emerald said as she tried to break free. Ashley coughed and slowly started to stand.
"Ashley?" Zef asked hesitantly.
"I... I'm fine." Ashley said as she managed to calm everyone down.
"Oh, thank the gods," Blue said softly.
"Let me go, or I'm calling the cops!" Emerald said as Zef glared at her
"She's calling in reinforcements! Evasive maneuvers!" Zef said before Ren pulled out a sizeable two-sided sword. "Peaceful evasive maneuvers!" Zef said, hoping to avoid bloodshed as Ren put his sword away and walked over to a three before hanging Emerald on one of its branches.
"What the?" Emerald said as she hung on the tree branch, watching all the Daemos leave. "Are you serious? Ugh! How am I supposed to get down?" She yelled at them, only they would come back and help her before gasping softly. "I'm late to my interview. No! Stupid sweatshirt!"
Just as she stayed there, all the Daemos went around the corner to try and calm down and think of a plan.
"We... We almost died..." Blue said, looking as pale as Weiss.
"This climate is unbearable," Zef said as he tried to ignore the heat.
"At least the effects are beginning to wear off; it's not too bad once you get used to it," Mercury said before some fangirls noticed them.
"Easy for you to say. Mine and Ashley's skins are burning! Why don't you guys have that?" Blue said, jealous that only his and Ashley's skins burn, and the others don't.
"Calm down," Ashley said before whispering. "We are being watched. Prepare for battle." As Ashley said, everyone pulled out their weapons, preparing for battle. "Show no mercy!"
Just as they were ready to attack, the Fangirls squealed before taking multiple pictures of them with the flashes on, temporarily blinding them in the process.
"Ah! I'm blind!" Blue yelled out.
"What was that? Zef asked as he tried to cover his eyes.
"They're using some kind of magic. shield your eyes!" Mercury said as he followed Zef's lead.
"Oh my god! Thanks for posing with us! We were afraid to ask." The first fangirl said with a smile.
"It's hard for us to approach such hot cosplayers." the second fangirl said while the first one hummed and nodded. As they put their phones away, the first one told them to enjoy the con before leaving the Daemos alone and letting them put their weapons away.
"Your majesty, are you alright?" Mercury asked as he put his swords up.
"I'm fine."
"Those were human females. How do they have access to such potent blinding magic?" Zef asked while looking concerned.
"We underestimated humans from this world," Ren said as he kept a calm expression.
"I refuse to believe humans could disarm Daemos. We're vulnerable right now due to the climate." Mercury said to them.
"Indeed. We need to seek shelter." Zef said before Ashley spoke up.
"We need to take a prisoner," Ashley said as Zef released a soft, surprised gasp as he turned to him. "An informant, a human one. But we can't do it without alerting the nearby humans.
"Ashley, that's crazy, we can't-" Zef said, only to be cut off by Blue as he turned around and noticed some people cosplaying.
"Look, Daemos are here too. We're saved. Brothers!" Blue said as he ran over to the two cosplayers.
"Blue, wait!" Mercury said as he held a hand out, trying to stop Blue, but unfortunately, Blue managed to reach them in time.
"Boy, am I glad to see fellow Daemos. Listen, we're new to this world and-" Blue said, only for the male cosplayer to stop him.
"Woah. Sorry, bud, we don't do role-play." The male cosplayer said, confusing Blue.
Ashley and Yang tried to open their mouths up, only for Zef and Ruby to cover their mouths.
"Ashley... say anything, and I will make Bio kick both of our asses. Okay?" Zef said as he slowly pulled his hand away; she just nodded. "Okay."
"Yang, not a word, or I'm telling Dad about this," Ruby said as she nodded before slowly pulling her hand away.
"We just cosplay because we like crafting outfits, but we're really bad at role-playing." The female role player said before the male spoke up again.
"I mean, we've tried, though, haha." He told Blue before the female cosplayer noticed something about Blue's horns.
"Woah, check out the craftsmanship on those horns! How'd you attach it so seamlessly to your wig?" She said as she confused Blue even further.
"Wha... what are you guys talking about?" Blue asked as he stared at them, confused.
"Oh. Guess I'll show you mine first." the male cosplayer said as he took one of the horns off. "See, usually I use the wire to really get the horns on.
Once the cosplayer took his horn off, Blue screamed in terror and collapsed onto the floor, passing out only to wake up to see everyone he came with surrounding him.
As Blue screamed from the cosplayer, taking his horns off, everyone started to laugh except for a few.
"Hehe, you know. I would be doing the same if I was in his shoes. Could you imagine Ashley taking her ears off like that?" Blake said as she wasn't laughing at the screen.
"Well, luckily for you, I can't do that. I probably should. Would help with hiding." Ashley said while calming down.
"Did you see that? They severed Daemos horns and wore them as trophies!" Mercury said, now scared of the cosplayers.
"We underestimated the humans," Zef said before Ashley spoke up.
"We need a human prisoner. Follow me." Ashley said after calming down and leading everyone back to Emerald. She had spent the whole time trying to get off the branch she was hanging from.
"I... Just... Need to... Do it... I can't take it any longer... But if I drop down and leave my shirt, I might run into someone in my bra... Ugh... Fine. You know what? I miss my job interview, I blew off a con invite, and I didn't even get my munchie scrunchies. I don't care who sees me in my bra anymore." Emerald said before getting into a fit of awkward laughter and groaning.
"You know, after hearing all of that... I don't blame her; I would have done the same." Yang said while sighing softly.
"It's just one thing after another that just wants to make you stay in bed," Ren said as he shook his head.
"Aww, Gemstone. Do you want a hug to make you feel better?" Ashley asked with a soft smile.
Once she calmed down and looked around, she noticed that all the Daemos were back and standing in front of her.
"Oh no. Beautiful people." Emerald said with a groan.
"Descend at once," Ashley ordered Emerald, which she didn't do and only let out a confused hum. "Descend."
"You can drop the medieval role-play. I'm not in any place to participate, as you can tell!" Emerald said while pissed at them.
"She's rejecting Princess Ashley's request," Mercury said as the group was impressed with her.
"Do not disobey me!" Ashley yelled out.
"Wow. I don't know what your role-play is, but I'm not into that." Emerald said to her.
Ashley started to giggle at the jab at herself, and only Emerald started to blush heavily from the idea of doing that with Ashley.
"Hehe, are you sure you're not into that Emerald? You seem to be blushing a lot." Mercury said as she tried to tease her, only to get a punch in the arm.
"Let me try, Your Majesty. Greetings, it's a pleasure to meet you. Before you stand, Princess Ashley, the future queen of-" Zef tried to say, only to be interrupted by Emerald.
"Wow, you guys are really into this, huh? Okay, fine, I'll play along. Oh, cruel fate? How can a poor maiden like me get stuck in a tree? Oh, I remember, 'cause your stupid muscle-bound friend that put me here! Now get me down before I call the cops!" Emerald said, showing off her acting skills.
"Silence!" Ashley yelled as she used her magic to light the tree on fire, making Emerald fall.
"Did. You. Just." Emerald said as she tried to rationalize what had just happened.
"Princess Ashley! Do not use your magic on such trivial matters!" Zef said, scolding Ashley for using her magic as Ashley approached Emerald.
"The next words that come from your mouth better be-," Ashley said, only to be silent as Emerald leaned up and grabbed her left horn and started to pull on it, making everyone gasp while Ren covered Blue's eyes, making him yell out while Ashley blushed from the action.
Everyone who knew how intimate this was (besides Ren.) gasped at the action.
"Have you two been dating behind our backs?" Zef asked as Ashley blushed for once.
"Nope. Unfortunately-." Ashley said as Emerald covered her mouth.
"Enough, let's just move past this!" Emerald said.
"Wait, I don't get what's wrong," Ruby told her.
"Yang will tell you after. If not her, Jaune." Zef said as the two choked on air.
"They're real?" Emerald said while stopping as she started up at her.
"How dare you!" Ashley yells to Emerald, clearly embarrassed by it.
"I knew I should've slept in today," Emerald said before fainting, making everyone gasp and for Blue to uncover his eyes.
"You killed it." He said in a rather dull tone.
"Huh... I knew I had that effect on everyone~." Ashley said with a soft smile.
"Yeah, you do have the ability to scare people into fainting," Blake said while smiling softly.
"That's not what I meant, and you know it!" Ashley said while pouting.
"You sure about that?" Jaune asked her as he turned to look at her.
"You want me to prove it?" Ashley asks only for everyone there to say yes.
"Yes... but leave your clothes on." Zef said as Ashley smiled.
"Fine. I like a challenge anyways." She said before turning to Emerald. "Hey, Gemstone~."
"No. Not now. We're almost done with this." Bio said as she put herself between Ashley and Emerald.
"Really? Right now?"
"No. No, no, I didn't." Ashley said as Zef walked over to Emerald and checked up on her.
"The human is alive, just unconscious. We need to take her and establish a base of operations." Zef said as a cat walked up and rubbed himself on Ashley's leg while meowing.
"A spirit," Ashley said before the cat left, only to stop and turn around to ensure they would follow.
"It's trying to guide us," Zef said to them.
"Grab the human and follow the spirit. Our journey to conquer E-Earth is only beginning." Ashley said as everyone but Ren followed Johny. Ren meanwhile grabbed Emerald, carried her, and followed the rest inside.
And just like that, the screen turned black, ending the video this time.
"Well... that was... something," Pyrrha said while smiling politely.
"Well, I enjoyed it," Ashley said with a smile as Ruby, Yang, and Blue smiled.
"I don't like how some grandma tries to go after Ren," Nora said while pouting as Ren pat her back.
"Ugh... what happened?" Roman asked as he groaned while slowly getting up. "Where am I?" He wondered as Neo got up with him.
"Oh right, they are here," Zef said while annoyed.
"I'll handle it," Bio said as she snapped her fingers, sending them elsewhere. "I'll explain everything to them. You all stay here and don't fight. Roman's video is up next. Either that or another trailer." Bio told them as she disappeared.
"So Gemstone~ about before," Ashley said with a soft smirk as Emerald turned to look at her as she blushed heavily.
"Hey, wait! Should we make a bet on this first?" Mercury said with a smile, making Emerald glare at him.
"Yeah, we should. Fifty Lein per person. And best two out of three!" Ashley said as she put fifty Lein on one of the empty chairs.
