After that Sasuke told them about Karin being the best sensor, although he also told them that she was not all there due to somethings she had seen and done while under the tender care of the snake sannin. Next Naruto asks Sasuke where she is right at the moment, Sasuke answered him with the truth, he explained that she had stayed behind in a cave nearby. When Sasuke finished describing where exactly the cave was situated, Naruto made a few clones and send them to go and get her. Naruto told Sasuke that he will see to it that she was fine, first he will let the doctor take a look at her to check if she was curable. When asked about Hozuki, Sasuke answered that he didn't know what become of him, since he had stayed behind to delay Orochimaru even if it was at least for a few minutes. Once Sasuke had told them all that he knew, Naruto approached Sasuke.
"Listen, Sasuke, we, well, they will protect you and should we find Karin and Suigetsu, they too will be protected."
Sasuke looked at the other three, not believing what Naruto just said but they only nodded once his eyes fall on them individually, showing Sasuke that they agreed with what Naruto just said.
"Naruto, can I talk to you alone?"

Once the others left them alone, Sasuke begin to fidget. Naruto looked at the raven with a confused look on his face, but seeing Sasuke fidgeting he decided that the topic must be hard for the raven, so he would need to approach the subject that was bothering the raven with caution.
"Um, Sasuke... You do know you can tell me anything, right?"
"Uhm... I don't want the child."
Sasuke said this so quietly that if Naruto had not his enhanced hearing, he would've not heard it, but he did, so he heard it as clear as if it was said in a louder tone.
"Why not, Sasuke?" The blond asked the raven-haired boy softly. The raven fisted the sheets that were in his lap so hard his knuckles were becoming white as he began to answer.
"Because it will remind me of Orochimaru, especially with the chance that he might look like him with him being the father and all."
"What if I can tell you that since it is still a fetus, I can use a seal to draw out Orochimaru's genes? That way he will not look like him. He or she will look like you and someone else but no chance of looking like him."
"You can do that?"
"Sasuke, there is allot of things about me you don't know of. But yes, I can do that. There is one catch, we have to insert a gene to support the child. It needs a second gene, to make his own DNA, or else he or she would become too unstable and will still die."
"I don't care as long as it doesn't have Orochimaru's genes in it."
"Alright, I'll get Itachi to go around the village to see if there is anyone that shows promise to become a support of your baby's genes."
"Why not use Itachi's?"
Naruto smirked at this. He put a hand in front of his mouth, his eyes twinkling with wickedness.
"I didn't know you are into incest, Sasuke."
Sasuke went red like a tomato. The hand Naruto had put in front of his mouth was now hiding his wicked smile. His eyes now showed his laughter, not that Sasuke saw it.
"Never mind."
Naruto nodded and walked out, leaving Sasuke to his thoughts.

Naruto found Itachi and told him what Sasuke said and the plan Naruto has come up with and what was needed for it.
"Itachi, you need to do the sealing since you are stronger then Orochimaru and you are the closest match to Sasuke's chakra so that the fetus doesn't feel threaten and reject the process. I do not have to tell you what will happen if the baby rejects the supporting DNA, right?"
Itachi shakes his head. He left Naruto to find the DNA needed for the transfer. After a few hours looking he found the one he wanted, he was a humble field worker but sometimes Itachi had seen him with a keen look in his eyes, in other words the man was an observer. One had to be with all the bandit attacks they had suffered from time to time.

So, Itachi was intrigued, and followed the man for a few days. Itachi had seen the man was a single man that had a baby sister to take care of, the man that intrigued Itachi was named Ken, which means healthy, strong. Which ironically because he was epitome of his name. After watching him for a few days, Itachi was convinced about him, and decided to approach him. He told Ken Sasuke's story and ask if they can use his DNA for the transfer, Ken agreed. The next day Ken arrived at the clinic, where the doctor took half pint of blood. Naruto made the ink; he couldn't use normal ink. Since it was a special ink, the blond needed to make it from scratch, he added Ken's and Sasuke's blood to help with the transfer. Then he painted the seal on Sasuke's stomach, he also set up everything that Itachi needed. He walked Itachi through the steps. Once Itachi knew what he needed to do, he went to work. First thing he did was knocked Sasuke out with a knocked gas that was not harmful to him or the child in him.

Once Itachi forced Orochimaru's DNA out Naruto stood right next to them to catch the representation of it, which was a small snake, it looked a bit like the one he pulled out of Anko a few months before. Naruto grabbed it and left the room with it, leaving Itachi to do the rest. After Itachi was done, he came out of the room leaving Sasuke to sleep the gas out of his system. Now, all they need to do is wait, the rest was up to the baby, if he rejects Ken's blood or not. They would know the next day, if he accepts the blood, he still be healthy, should he reject it he will be unstable, and there will be a decline in its health. Outside Naruto made a barrier around him, he then let Kurama out, Kurama took his time to destroy the presentation of Orochimaru's DNA, because he knew Uchiha's, so he knew Itachi won't leave anything behind for someone else when he was done with the snake sannin.

The next day the doctor did a check-up on Sasuke and was amazed. The fetus had accepted Ken's DNA. And was actually getting better, even it was just a little, since it has only been twenty-four hours since the induction of the foreign DNA, the doctor was almost sure the fetus would reject it, seeing how far along it was, but luckily it didn't. Seeing this the doctor decided to do a few more tests. Sasuke sat through all of them quietly. When they were done Itachi helped Naruto to Sasuke's room so they can visit. They knocked but got no answer when they enter Sasuke was sitting looking at his belly, his hands were caressing it. He had a sweet smile that made the two at the door smile. Itachi decided to clear his throat, alerting Sasuke of their presence. When he saw them, he became red as a tomato.
"Sasuke, there are a few things you should know."
Sasuke looked at Naruto with curiosity in his eyes, nodded to signed at the blond that he was listening.
"Itachi renounced the Uchiha name."
