Hey, hey!

In this chapter, it will primarily be communicating through letters. Back and forwards between Naruto, Sasuke and Hinata. Discussing about the situation from last chapter. 'Letter writing will be in Italics'

So without further waiting. I hope you enjoy the chapter!

Naruto was a bit antsy. Communication with Hinata was usually two to three letters a day, and they were never short letters. On her off days they could write all day it seemed like. About any and everything.

The last letter Naruto and Sasuke received, Hinata sounded a bit off. Very sad and depressed. Expressing her need for them. Now it's been hours since the last letter. Just when Naruto was about to sigh for what felt like the 100th time tonight, finally his messenger toad arrived with a letter from Hinata.

Naruto would have been excited if he didn't notice how late it was. It was around two in the morning. Hinata usually was fast asleep around this time, for work in the morning. She was on duty in the village right now since finishing her last mission out the village. So, Hinata being awake now sent off alarm bells in Naruto's head.

He picked up the envelope and immediately got the chills. Something just wasn't right. "How was she? Sad, happy, what?" He looked down at the messenger toad and saw it mimic the expression of someone crying. Indicating that Hinata was not in the best of moods. Naruto immediately opened the letter after that. Just to see a very small message.

Naruto & Sasuke,

How are things going?

-Hinata

Naruto read it out loud and looked utterly confused. What the hell was this? Hinata never wrote small letters like this that was so…empty. "She's beating around the bush. She's nervous to tell us something." Naruto looked at Sasuke as Sasuke spoke. "Just write her back. Don't make it seem like you're worried."

Sasuke looked at the messenger toad. "And don't you tell her we're worried. If you run these messages fast, I'll make sure you get a good treat at the end."

Naruto wrote a quick note and the messenger was gone in a flash. Encouraged by Sasuke's treat. Naruto was getting tired a few moments ago, but now he couldn't sleep. What had happened. Sasuke looked at Naruto and how the blonde was slowly unraveling. Hinata and being far away from her was becoming a sensitive subject for all of them now. "What did you write her?"

Naruto was staring at the small fire they had made for themselves on the beach before looking at Sasuke, "You said not to seem worried, so I'm just talking to her. I told her things are fine and asked how she was doing."

Sasuke nodded his head. About ten minutes went by before the messenger frog popped into existence and had another letter for them. This time Sasuke took the letter. He opened it up to a longer letter. Showing that Hinata was more comfortable to talk now.

Everything is okay.

The mission I told you about. It was with team ten. Me and Neji were assigned with them, and we were attacked by the Akatsuki. At first we all separated. Shikamaru and Ino with one Akatsuki man and Neji, myself along with two other Jonin were with the other Akatsuki man. We've come to learn that they travel in two cell teams instead of three. Honestly all they need are two, if they had three I do not believe we would have been victorious.

Neji instructed me to be with Shikamaru and Ino. While I did not agree with the decision, I did as my captain ordered. Which I am glad, because Ino was hit with a deadly wound and needed aid. She took the hit that was intended for Shikamaru. It is hard to explain, but I will do my best to sum it up.

The Akatsuki's man name was Hidan. His technique was if he can consume your blood, he has a direct line to you. So whatever happens to his body will happen to yours. The thing is, he was immortal. So, a stab in the heart or major focal point wouldn't kill him, but it would kill the person he's connected to. It was tricky to defeat him, but we managed.

I was able to temporarily disconnect him and Ino, then I burned him alive.

That didn't bother me. What bothered me was the fact Neji was able to single handedly take out an Akatsuki member. This Akatsuki man, from what I was told, was an immortal as well and far superior to the one I fought. This really showed Neji's strength and it was a little nerve racking to be honest.

Sasuke looked up from the letter and turned it over to read more. "It was nerve racking Neji was able to take someone out, but it wasn't nerve racking that she burned someone alive to a crips." He had a grin on his face and looked up at Naruto who looked utterly grossed out. Just the thought of the smell was puke worthy.

I played the runner after the small battles. I would cross between Neji and Shikamaru as they communicated with one another, as team leaders, while we cleaned up the scene and collected evidence. During one of my runs, I was met with a messenger crow. That is when your brother, Itachi requested to meet with me and Neji.

Well after I sent you that letter explaining our meeting with Itachi. I suppose I found myself in a dark place, that was until Ino and Sakura came along. They unexpectantly came to my home and asked me to spend the day with them. The tattoo shop in particular. We all received tattoos, I had a very nice female tattoo artist. I did not know tattoos could be used as therapeutic, but it served to be that.

Afterwards, we all went back to me and Neji's home. Neji was there with Shikamaru and Tenten. We all decided to spend the evening together and have Hookah and snacks with tea. It was very nice.

I tried a cigarette and learned I did not like them at all. They are very disgusting. I don't understand why Shikamaru likes them so much and how Ino could be around it all the time. Still, they make a lovely couple and I enjoy their company.

I enjoy Sakura's company as well. However, after the gathering, when it was just me and Sakura. She kissed me on my neck. She licked and kissed me several times up my neck. I will not lie to you. It was hard to reject the temptation. Sakura is beautiful and she has been there for me in hard times while you two were away. However, I stopped what was happening. I did not kiss Sakura or return her affection. Even though she asked for me to.

Sakura understood after some time though. She had explained that she thought that I wasn't happy. That I was stressed and that I was watching everyone around me live their life and be happy. That I allowed you and Sasuke to be happy while I waited for your return.

It made me feel gullible. Weak. Stupid and a push over.

I don't know if that was Sakura's trick, because Neji and my father had both advised me that Sakura was a sneaky beauty. I didn't listen to them, because Sakura was and still is a close friend that I trust. It was just a moment of weakness between the two of us I suppose. I do not wish to stop being her friend and vice versa.

I wanted to let you know what happened. It happened tonight and I did not want to hold anything from you. I just hope you can understand that I did and still do not want any relations with Sakura and that I could only love Naruto and Sasuke.

-Hinata

It was quiet when Sasuke finished reading the letter. This was a lot to digest and no wonder Hinata was in such turmoil.

Sasuke wasn't mad…well he was actually pissed, but it was more geared to how Hinata was feeling during and after everything. It sounded like she wanted Sakura. Like she wanted to feel something, but she was held back from being happy because of himself and Naruto.

Sakura's comment made her feel gullible, weak and stupid. A push over. Like him and Naruto were taking advantage of her and held her down to rules that they weren't obeying.

Maybe they weren't obeying the rules. They were engaging with each other while away. Naruto and Sasuke had each other and Hinata was alone in the intimate aspect of everything. The mature side of Sasuke saw Hinata's point of view.

The immature 18-year-old side of Sasuke could only imagine Sakura pushed up against Hinata giving her pleasure that he told himself only him and Naruto could do. She licked Hinata's fucking neck. HIS Hinata's neck. For crying out loud any person would be ready to destroy someone that did this to their lover.

Naruto watched several emotions play across Sasuke's face before a blank mask settled across it. Sasuke had to detach himself from this situation. He couldn't tumble down that dark path of feeling constant anger, paranoia and emptiness.

"You write her Naruto." Naruto looked at Sasuke confused. "What?"

"I have nothing to say to her."

Naruto closed his eyes at hearing Sasuke and let out a sigh. "She just said nothing happened. Sasuke she TOLD you what happened within hours of it happening. She's beating herself up about it. Be serious."

Naruto didn't know how everything played out, but Sakura seemed to have made good points to get to Hinata. To make her this upset. This just made Naruto want to go home sooner, and now he was going to start pushing for it even more. Enough was enough.

It was okay when it was just him and Sasuke forcing themselves to endure, but now knowing that Hinata was suffering heavily. Feeling alone. This wasn't okay. She shouldn't have to endure anymore.

Sasuke made himself comfortable on his makeshift bed near the fire. "I don't care." Naruto frowned at Sasuke before he pulled out his own paper and pencil. He started to write Hinata and mumbled as he wrote. "You're such a dick."

Sasuke opened his eyes that he had just closed and gave Naruto a sharp look. "She just said she was still going to be Sakura's 'friend'. That she found Sakura not just attractive, but beautiful and found it hard to resist her. Do I look stupid to you? What makes you think there won't be another 'moment of weakness' with Sakura around still to be her friend during 'hard times'."

Sasuke sat up now. Completely consumed by jealousy. Already figuring out a million and one ways to murder Sakura. "What? You agree with her? Because me and you are out here trying to become something of ourselves. Which by the way is geared for HER. You think we are being hypocrites?"

Naruto shrugged his shoulders, "I mean we get to be together most of the time. We get to be together when we need the emotional, physical and verbal support. Hinata has support, but it's DIFFERENT Sasuke. You know it is. If you cut her off because of this, you don't deserve to have Hinata or me. I promise you that."

Sasuke shook his head before he laid back down and turned his back from Naruto. "Fucking idiot."

Hinata,

I'm not going to say it's okay, but I will say I understand. It's hard when you don't have the person you love around. Sakura gave you emotional connection and comfort. She is a beauty, speaking from past experience (joking) and she got close to your heart.

I wanted to say that I don't want you around her, but that would be saying I don't trust you, and I do. If you say it won't happen again. Then I believe you and will hold you to this, but just like you forgave me, I will only forgive you this once.

This may be a stretch, but I want to make a promise to you Hinata. The cold season is approaching, my birthday will come and then yours shortly after. I want to promise you that we will celebrate Sasuke's 19th birthday together. The three of us and that we won't leave again when we come back.

That's my promise to you, and I don't believe I have ever broken a promise to you my Hinata. My Princess. You're everything to me, and I believe to make things 100% even, I will hold myself back until I see you again, because it hasn't been fair for you.

I think…we could even talk further about us since we have an estimated time of return now.

Hinata smiled as she read the letter. Happy tears came down her face as she reread it. She did notice, even with Naruto's flirting, promises and jokes, that Sasuke did not reply back. He was angry with her. She could tell. She would give him time. She didn't want Sasuke to talk while he was angry and say harsh words that he might regret and be too stubborn to take back.

She knew Sasuke like that.

Naruto & Sasuke,

I will hold you to your promise. You have never lied to me Naruto, so I believe you. As for Sakura, even though we are still friends, I believe distance for a while will be needed.

I cried when she kissed me. It was intimate feelings that I guess I suppressed for some time. Saving it for you and Sasuke. She apologized immediately when she saw how emotional I was, she thought it was sending me into an emotional state that I might relapse. I told her it didn't.

I lied. It did a little. I had a craving to drink, but by now it is a little bit easier to emotionally overcome the urge and let the craving vanish on its own. No matter how painful or slow it is.

To me, the feeling from drinking. It brought me warmth. It made me content, happy and euphoric. When I am with Naruto and Sasuke it brings me the same feeling. I guess I'm trying to say I moved my addiction from drinking to you and Sasuke. It's a high that I crave and crave and now it's like I can't wait to have you two around me again.

My counselor said during therapy a few years ago this wasn't healthy, but I don't really care anymore.

The feeling Sakura gave me was warmth, but the euphoric feelings wasn't there. It was just like I never was going to get satisfied unless I mixed alcohol with Sakura. Does that make sense? That's how I know I cannot love another, and that I need you.

I believe I am ready for you and Sasuke. Unlike before.

Naruto gave a big smile as he read the letter out loud. There was a certain maturity in their writing now. One that Naruto was happy they could explore now. He was happy Hinata chose to ignore Sasuke's tantrum that he was sure Hinata could pick up on. Instead she did what she knew would grind Sasuke gears. Ignore him.

Sasuke rolled over to look at Naruto as he heard Naruto read the letter out loud. Sasuke held some concern for Hinata and her admitting that she had urges to drink, but her saying she had found a way to overcome it was soothing to his nerves.

Also, he noticed that Hinata was very expressive tonight.

A lot of emotions were rushing through Sasuke and he knew those same emotions were rushing through Hinata as well. By the looks of it, Naruto too. At this point, they were all pass the 'I love you' and 'I miss you stage'. Now it was 'When are you getting back to release my tension?' That's where they were now.

This was all sexual frustration.

"Let me see that paper when you're done writing what you have to say."

Naruto looked up at Sasuke and smirked at him. "Oh, no. Don't try to sweet talk Hinata now that she's gotten your attention. She was the bad guy. Remember?"

Sasuke gave Naruto an annoyed look. "I'm going to be honest with her. If she still wants to talk to me after I say what I want to say then that's on her." Naruto groaned at Sasuke, "Don't ruin the mood teme!"

Hinata,

I'm letting Sasuke write first because he's still emotional and I feel as if he'll ruin the mood if you read his letter after mines.

Hinata,

You and Naruto have to be the most weak-minded individuals when it comes to temptations coming your way. It mainly is the fault at how green the two of you can be. Strong willed in everything but the emotional aspect of life.

I'm angry, but just like Naruto I understand. We do have each other while we travel. I can be with Naruto when I please sometimes and it is not the same for you, so I'm sorry for that. I won't be with him in that manner until I see you again.

Don't let your addiction take over again. Don't let people get you riled up like that again. I understand everything right now is hard. I want to see you every day of every minute and I'm slowly losing it sometimes.

That being said, I love you. I just need time to get over this. I tend to hold grudges longer than you and Naruto as you can see.

Hinata smiled as she read Sasuke's letter. Sometimes when she opened up to Sasuke more, he would open up to her more. Explaining how she felt with Sakura probably helped ease Sasuke's mind and motivated him to write her back. She was being open and authentic with him, usually that's all Sasuke asked for between Naruto and Hinata.

She went back to Naruto's letter to see what else he wrote now that she was done with Sasuke's.

Hinata,

Okay. Now that Sasuke has gotten his feelings out the way.

I want you Hinata. Plain and simple. I think about you all the time and even when I'm with Sasuke. I can't help it. You're on my mind all the time. I feel like since we're reaching our end point I can admit that to you. Without torturing myself not knowing when I'm going to see you again.

The first year was the hardest for me. I tried so many times to go back to you. The second year, once training really picked up, I realized what I needed to work on to be the best for you. I feel like I've done just about all I can do to be the best person for you Hinata. Now I want to grow with you.

I want to be that warmth for you. That high. Over and over again. I want you to go insane, because I'm already insane for you Hinata. Let's be insane together.

Hinata covered her mouth as a girly squeal escaped her. They have never wrote like this. They typically just wrote to get them through the days. To show that they loved each other and to see their day through the letters.

Now that it was becoming a reality that they would all see each other by next year. It seemed like they could talk more freely with each other and really share deep feelings. They were older now. More mature of the world and what they wanted from it.

Naruto and Sasuke,

I like that idea. Insanity makes lovers do crazy things. See.

Naruto read the letter and then looked at the picture Hinata had sent with it. She did say she went to the tattoo shop earlier.

Sasuke watched how big Naruto eyes had gotten. "What? What is it?"

Sasuke had never seen Naruto blush so hard, and the two have been through some moments where they both have been extremely flustered. Naruto wiped his nose several times because he felt a nose bleed coming. "Hinata got two tattoos. On both sides of her ribs. Look." Naruto gave Sasuke the picture and watched how Sasuke eyes lit up as well.

The Uchiha clan symbol was on her skin permanently. On the left side of her body. The side of her rib cage. Every time she exposed herself, his clan symbol would be seen. This solidified her testimony that she wasn't interested in anyone else, especially Sakura. It made him feel like Sakura was almost jealous of him and Naruto. She knew Hinata had gotten this tattoo for them and still tried to bed Hinata.

Neji and Hiashi were right. Sakura was sneaky.

Sasuke smiled as he looked at the picture. Hinata was an emotional, horny mess and still declined someone as beautiful as Sakura and her advances. She still thought about him and Naruto, no matter how upset she was. "I miss her."

Naruto smiled at Sasuke as he heard him mumble this. Naruto was in utter shock to see his clan symbol tattooed on Hinata. She was forever his. This was an ultimate declaration of their love and connection.

Hinata,

You should know our insanity is forever. We'll consume you and won't let you go.

-Naruto and Sasuke

Hinata bit her bottom lip. She looked at her clock and saw that it was already four in the morning, but she was having a good time with Naruto and Sasuke. She didn't want this to end.

Would you do anything for me? Anything to me, that I ask you to do?

Naruto groaned when he read the letter. Maybe they shouldn't dive into this too much since they were saving themselves now. This conversation was too good to stop now though. Sasuke was kneeling behind Naruto, his chin resting on Naruto's shoulder. His eyes were low and he was just as invested in this conversation as Naruto.

Would we do anything? Just tell us what you want. This shouldn't even be a question Princess. What would you ask for us to do? Do you have any fantasies?

Hinata held the letter over her face to cover her heavy blush. It was just her in her bedroom, but she still felt so embarrassed right now. She dared to say this is the most fun she's had in a long time. She felt so free and relaxed, she only felt like this with Naruto and Sasuke around. It felt like they were here with her right now.

Promise not to think differently of me?

Everyone relies on me. My clan relies on me heavily. I have such big responsibilities. I am the clan heiress and a senior in Anbu because of the high turnover. I can never show weakness or be submissive.

I want to be submissive to you and Naruto. Can you teach me how to do this? Can you control me to fulfill my fantasy?

Naruto's eyebrows knitted together and he bit his bottom lip. That was hot. He didn't know Hinata thought like this. That she wanted to do things like this. This was torture at this point. It was a sweet torture that he would engage in until the three of them fell asleep.

That's what the three of them did until eight in the morning.

Year Three

Ino looked at Hinata and how she had more pep to her step lately. It was June and hot as hell outside, but Hinata seemed to be on cloud nine lately. Which was surprising considering news had hit that Naruto and Sasuke had confronted several Akatsuki members and taken them down. One of them involved saving the life of the now leader of Sauna, Gaara.

It was discovered that all the tailed beast were a target, so all their jailers were being captured and killed by the Akatsuki so they could extract their tailed beasts. When word hit that Gaara had been kidnapped, Jiraiya along with Naruto and Sasuke were dispatched to aid Sauna. They were able to save Gaara and kill the Akatsuki member. Both of the two men. Sasori and Deidara.

That meant four were down. Still the threat of Akatsuki was growing strong. That and the fact Itachi Uchiha was still at large with his rogue partner, both members seeming to have disbanded from Akatsuki according to intel. Plus Orochimaru was still in search of Sasuke, infuriated that his curse mark was no longer causing the effect on Sasuke that he wanted it to.

That being said. With all the danger lurking and escalating. Hinata still looked happy. "Jeez. We're on the brink of possible village invasion and that won't stop you from looking happy Hinata. All because Naruto and Sasuke are coming in three more weeks."

Hinata blushed at Ino's teasing. Still, she couldn't help but glow right now. Ino nudged Hinata's shoulder and grinned at her. "I don't blame you. I'd be excited too. Over three years is a long time to wait. Have you thought about how you're gonna spend the night with Naruto and Sasuke? Are you going to make them suffer, and wait a little more or are you gonna jump their bones?"

Hinata squeaked and waved her arms in the air at Ino. Such vulgar words!

Ino rolled her eyes as she looked at Hinata. They were alone. Shikamaru had gotten his first apartment about two months ago and right now Ino and Hinata were just socializing while they waited for Sakura to arrive with some sweets from the bakery. "Hinata. We're alone."

Hinata flushed at the comment and placed her hands in her lap. Completely embarrassed. Ino placed her hand on Hinata's shoulder and smiled at her. "Don't be embarrassed. Be excited! From what I gather, your relationship has gone above and beyond since Sakura tried to make a move. Those two knuckleheads saw what they almost lost. You see who you really want. It made your relationships stronger and go the next level."

Hinata nodded her head in agreeance as Ino spoke. "I umm…don't really want to wait any longer when they arrive. I believe I'm ready now." Ino smiled at this, "Well. In that case. We have to get you some sexy gear for the night! You still interested in that lite dominatrix stuff?"

Hinata waved her arms in the air again and looked at Ino absolutely petrified. Only Ino knew about this kink Hinata had and wanted to try out. No one else knew, heavens forbid Shikamaru walked in and overheard their conversation. Or what about Sakura. Hinata would die from embarrassment.

Ino waved the embarrassment off again. "Aww hush Hinata. I have some stuff you could have. Me and Shikamaru dib and dab in the community sometimes. If you want to get into the open relationship community then of course you know to talk to Sakura and Kiba." Ino giggled at her joke and shortly after Hinata relaxed and laughed as well.

Ino took Hinata to her and Shikamaru's bedroom. She still stayed with her parents, but a good portion of her clothes and belongings were in Shikamaru's apartment.

Ino pulled out some items and held a lavender colored silk scarf. "So, as a beginner. I would recommend some light bondage. Start silky soft, but tight when they tie you up. If feels really good on your skin."

Hinata looked at the silky material before she looked back up at Ino. "You're giving this to me?" Ino nodded her head, "Yeah. I have a lot. Trust me. This is kind of Shikamaru's thing. Funny. It's always the quiet ones."

Hinata blushed and before she could start babbling again Ino pulled out another item. "Blindfolds are neat to introduce when you're doing this too. It makes you more comfortable to take that submissive role. Me not seeing anything and being in the unknown makes it easier for me to beg. Maybe it would be the same for you. Here take it and yes I have multiple Hinata. I'm making you a goodie bag if you haven't noticed."

Hinata blinked as she looked at Ino. This was such a nice gesture. All for her to have a good night. It was nice to have people around her that accepted her and how she functioned. "Oh. Umm…thank you Ino. This really means a lot."

Ino gave Hinata a big smile. "Well. Thank you Hinata. Really, I don't think you understand how much you've done for me in my relationship with Shikamaru either. Yeah you saved my life, but you also were there when me and Shikamaru had a rough patch. I appreciate you Hinata and I'm happy you're in my life."

Ino went back to her big box of goodies and rummaged through it, "Now. Do you want to explore toys or no? I'm gonna make it so you, Naruto and Sasuke are locked in your bedroom for a week."

Well, we have reached the three year mark. Naruto and Sasuke will not be in next chapter. It will be more Hyuga centric and will introduce the threat of Danzo to the fullest. However, the chapter after that Naruto and Sasuke will be returning to Konoha.

This chapter was titled: A Night of Confessions, because our favorite trio spent all night confessing to one another. What they wanted in their relationships and how everything has moved from innocent to mature and lustful. They're older now. They know what they want and how they want it.

When the lemons start. I will let you all know one chapter prior and of course I will do a warning on said chapter. Just FYI, they're coming. Once I start, I typically don't stop writing them.
