The Doctor slowly straightens his lapels and purple bowtie before his mind suddenly clears.
"It all just disappears, doesn't it? Everything you are, gone in a moment, like breath on a mirror. Any moment now, he's a-coming."
"Who's coming?"
He leans to Clara and happily whispers "The Doctor." like it's the best secret in the universe.
"But you, you are the Doctor."
"Yep, and I always will be."
He stares at his hands which starting glowing gold and silver.
"But times change, and so must I." he declares without a hint of regret or resentment.
His vision starts to lose focus before he catches in the corner of his eye, a little girl with red hair running about the Tardis.
"Amelia?"
"Who's Amelia?"
The Doctor gave a smile of contentment before answering "The first face this face saw."
"We all change, when you think about it. We're all different people all through our lives. And that's okay, that's good, you've got to keep moving, so long as you remember all the people that you used to be. I will not forget one line of this. Not one day. I swear. I will always remember when the Doctor was me."
Every neuron in the Doctor's brain was both frozen and on fire at the same time. He doesn't know if he was seeing a hallucination or a reward for his redemption but in the end it doesn't matter. The doctor smiles as he sees walking towards him, clear as the day he lost her, Amelia Pond.
"Raggedy man. Good night."
The Doctor feels Amelia's warm touch on his cheek before it manifests itself as regeneration energy and spreads rapidly to the rest of his body. The ribbons of Gold and silver gently float and sparkle together in a beautiful spiral before dissipating harmlessly. He falls into Amelia's embrace as his face peacefully glows and changes to release his repentance and finally act his age. As the light dims, the Doctor smiles as he can finally be laid to rest.

And that's the end of Repentance and Rest! Decided not to do 12 or 13 since I felt the time war had a nice arc that ended with 11. I think my favorite chapters were either the War doctor ones or 'Redemption'. The next fanfic will be released some time tomorrow since the date is or will be very significant. This is one I've been working on for about a year and a half. I decided to dig it out and upload it.
