Near the Secret Base of the Blood Crusaders…

It was good to be home…

Demona sat upon her throne as she felt happy to be freed from the In-Between after sixty years of imprisonment.

Belos… that wicked, wicked man Belos… how dare he meddle, dare to derail in everything she was about to produce… Just the mere thought of the man and his treachery was enough to curdle her stomach! Ugh! The pain in her abdomen… she felt older, feeling her age. The time spent in that prison brought weakness, her thirst for Palisman was worse than ever. That wretch… so over-saturated piece of wood dripping in every cell of his body, filled with Titan's blood which has stunted his age, keeping him the age when he was plunged. Well, that blood could only do so much…

"Great Sister, we are pleased for your return. We knew we would see you again." Tulip declared as she and the others bowed to the most feared woman in the world.

The Scarlet Weaver then felt a hand on her shoulder, tightened with a bit of pain.

"My beloved Neice, bring me a palisman from one of the fools who forsaken us." Demona requested in a raspy voice.

"Of course! Um… of course."

"Now."

"No need, Dearest Sister. I bring you one in the amphibious verity, bloated and pristine." One of the men informed her, presenting a palisman on a platter, the staff pieces still there.

She snatched it and devoured its essence; Tulip could have sworn she had heard its pleas for help.

"Perfect… Neice… Why not check on your… newest sibling and bring him here? With some work… we can have a full family again." She asked.

"Pippin is already shown to be a prodigy, an assassin worthy of our flock. His loyalty and thirst for vengeance is great." She assured her.

"As he should be. Bring him here… so I can get a look at him and tell him the good news."

"Good news?"

"When we make plans for the Day of Unity… and bring back his dear Uncle Caleb." She declared as the people cheered for the nun, and Tulip chirped with excitement.

The Day of Unity will bring so much happiness to others…

Dinner at the Noceda Home…

Camilia had to bring an extra table with the strength of her ex-husband (though maybe…) so that Luz and her friends could have a banquet of human food.

"Are you sure it is fine for the children to have human food?" Camilia voiced some concerns.

"Not to worry, my dear. Though humans are limited to many witch and demon cuisines… Demons and Witches can eat most human food, even prefer it." Belos breathed as it had been a long time since he had a big meal with people he loved, let alone liked.

"Yep, considering most of the stuff this world makes don't fight back. Also, it's the only place to get good whipped cream." Eda laughed.

"Still haven't cracked that nut yet."

The kids were trying different things as Gus, Willow, and Amity were taking notes of different foods, while Amity's siblings were eating just to eat food.

It was nice for his nephews and daughter to enjoy life while it seemed like a storm was coming their way.
