Biography:
When Ritsuka, Medusa, Jaguar Man and Shielder set out to Medea's oceanic hideout (see the profiles of Summer Medusa and Summer Medea), they ran into Boudica, who became a recluse fishing in the middle of the Pacific.
It turns out, in her not admitted search for a summer variant, she has absorbed some skills, capacities and traits of Santiago, the protagonist of Ernest Hemingway's novella The Old Man and the Sea, who did not leave enough of a mark to ascend to the Throne of Heroes himself (Santiago, not Hemingway) . Further embittered by that spirit so alien to her, Boudica retreated to reconsider her life and her choices.
While she has manifested a swimsuit at last, that hasn't improved her mood. "This bikini is too little, they say it makes me look fat." Considering what she wears usually that is a strange choice of words, but the Master wisely stays silent on that subject.
Boudica still loves the Master as a sibling, so as a favor to them, she agrees to follow the party to Medea's fortress and help as much as she can.
"Killing Greeks isn't that different from killing Romans, right?"
Class Skills:
Magic Resistance: D
The Servant has little experience defeating the supernatural on her own, although she can override mental entrapment and mind control magic from sheer stubbornness.
Roman or Italian sorceries and magecraft deal additional damage to her since this version of Boudica basically turned tail and retired.
Riding: A
Lancer remains just as skilled as ever with land vehicles and mounts, but now excels at steering and piloting sea ships, big and small alike, as well. Her ship of choice, however, is an old, small fishing boat, ideal for capturing marlins.
She can ride phantasmal beasts of the sea monster varieties, but other species are off limits.
Dragons cannot be used as rides.
Personal Skills:
Battle Continuation: A
Some things never change. Boudica's spirit remains as indomitable as ever.
Despite her acting as if she didn't care anymore, once engaged in battle she will fight on no matter what, regardless of how much damage she has received, until she sinks with her boat or sinks her opponent's boat.
Military Tactics (Sea): C
As a Lancer, Boudica has decided to see if her knowledge of warfare applies better to the navy than it did to mainland battles. It turns out she might be correct about it.
As noted below, Lancer doesn't think of herself as a captain, so that strictly speaking she doesn't have a warmongering crew, but should any other ships decide to follow her she won't refuse them, even if she will grumble about it. Even sailing alone, she can sink ships that are much bigger and better equipped.
Oceanic Navigator: C
The Servant will never get lost in the sea. Even through storms, monsoons, tropical hurricanes, she can maneuver herself and those onboard her boat to safety.
She doesn't fancy herself a captain but a devoted caretaker for those in her ship. She can play the role of a crusty curmudgeon at first but she remains the same caring Boudica under that. She has resorted to cooking sea food first and foremost for those who set foot on her boat and aren't Romans, but she remains as excellent a chef as ever.
Noble Phantasms:
Andraste at Sea- Last Chance of an Old Warrior: B
Anti-Unit.
Lancer manifests a huge harpoon, lifts it easily over her head, and throws it with unerring accuracy, and so much power that it sends rip waves in all directions. A sonic boom thunders above the waves, and the projectile becomes a supersonic high impact missile.
This Noble Phantasm is the main reason why Boudica is now a Lancer.
The Noble Phantasm is mainly intended to work against sea ships or oceanic creatures. The efficiency is greatly decreased on dry land.
Summon: "Master! Boudica, as ever, stands ready to aid you! Never mind the Saint Graph alteration, I remember you clearly. This thing? Huh! I don't even want it, now that I have it!""
Start of Battle:
"You have chosen the wrong path in your sailing."
"They said my people never had any aptitude for sailing. They were wrong."
"I'm sorry about you. I have a lot of pent up frustration and I am about to unload it on you."
"The sea is so beautiful... and it'll be even more beautiful after I get rid of you."
Attack:
"Sink and leave me alone!"
"Why won't you leave me alone!"
"Don't even touch my Master!"
"Filthy flotsam!"
Damage:
"Master! Look out!"
"Is this a mutiny!?"
"The water's too cold!"
"Blasted Lancer luck!"
Damage by Noble Phantasm:
"My summer dream!"
Victory:
"Don't call me old!"
"Maybe now I can go back to fishing in peace."
"Did you see that, developers?"
"Maybe I should take another stab at Rome! I haven't lost my touch, after all!"
Defeat:
"Sharks! Sharks everywhere!"
"A woman can be destroyed but not defeated."
"Luck is a thing that comes in many forms, and who can recognize her?"
"My big fish must be somewhere."
Noble Phantasm Activation:
"Andraste! You never were a goddess of the sea! But now your daughter begs you, bury my foes under the corals!"
Extra Dialogue:
"I can sympathize with you, actually. I understand where you come from... But thanks to you, my retirement was spoiled!" (When you have Avenger Medea).
"Rrrrrr! That you are happy about my getting a swimsuit after all these years? Grrrrrr!" (When you have Caster Nero Augustus).
"No! Don't you even think of bringing that noise you call music to my ship!" (When you have Berserker Oda Nobunaga).
"You are just doing your job, huh... Well, never mind me then! I have nothing personal against you, even if you are a calamity!" (When you have Archer Barghest).
"Even here you chase me! You and your kind don't even have any respect for the pulchritude of the sea!" (When you have Lancer Romulus).
Birthday: "Oh... That you decided to spend a day this important with me is flattering. Let us sail together under the stars."
Event: "My marlin waits there, I can feel it. The prize to my harpoon."
Holy Grail: "All I wish for now is your victory, Master. The time for mine is long past."
To be Continued.
