Hi Readers: Hope you guys are enjoying the chapters that I'm writing for you guys today. However, I need to just say that I am sorry for the constant changing as to where I feel like I want to take this story. But now, I think that I know where I want to take this story, especially now that I've had supper, which clears me to give you guys some new chapters tonight. Hope you guys like them just as much as the previous chapters. Now, let's get back to it, the life of Mr. and Ms. Matthew James Casey. Matt & Alex Casey. Oh, and a bunch of conversations that they need to have with each other as they start this new life as husband and wife, hope you like them.
Chapter Thirty-Four
Since her husband always makes their meals for them, Alex decided that she was going to do the dishes; it's just fair at the end of the day, as that's what you're supposed to do when you're married. You're supposed to share the tasks in life, and that's precisely what they're doing; with Alex doing the chores that are easier for her during her pregnancy, while Matt does the harder stuff. And yes, that also includes the dirty stuff; more specifically, him having to pick up dog poop. And he swears, he will never how understand how two little animals can create such a mess in the backyard. "I swear to god, I am so glad that we weren't hosting an event outside today." Turning her head as she heard Matt say that, Alex was confused as she had no idea just why her husband just said that. "And is there a reason why you feel the way?" Matt laughed as he walked up to the sink. "Here, do you mind if I use the sink?" Alex then saw why he needed to do that, before nodding as she could smell it. "Here, let me start it for you." Matt agreed with his wife, watching as she did just that; she started the water for him, while he put some soap on his hands. "Don't worry, I didn't make it dirty." Alex agreed.
After all, he was going to be cleaning it if he make that nice soap dispenser dirty. "Regardless of whether you made it dirty or not, you were going to be cleaning it; because I am not cleaning up dog doodoo, unless I absolutely need to due to the fact that you're away." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife as she told him that, smiling due to the fact that he just loves his wife so much. He then proceeded to wish his hands and just smiled due to the fact that this made him really happy, she made him really happy. And now that his hands were clean, Matt smiled as he moved his hands to Alex's hips and brought her body against his chest; meanwhile, she put her hands on his arms and smirked as she looked up into his beautiful eyes. God, those eyes are just so dreamy and beautiful. They make her heart melt, and it just makes her weak at the knees, which most certainly does wonders for their sex life. God, she wants him all the time, which makes a lot of sense now. "You know, I was wondering why I wanted you more than I originally wanted to have you when we were just dating." Matt agreed with his wife as she told him that. "Oh, it was just the hormones that made you want me more?"
Alex smiled as Matt said that, while putting her hands on his muscular chest and leaning up to kiss her husband softly; meanwhile, Matt put his hands on her arms and smiled as they took things nice and slow with each other. "I love you." Alex agreed with her husband as he told her that he loves her, which is something that she most certainly knows. "I know you love me, and I love you as well. Now and forever." Matt agreed with his wife as she said that, smiling as he wrapped his arms around her; after which, he kissed her forehead and smiled as they both held each other close. Looking down into her eyes, Matt smirked as he put his hands on her face and just shook his head due to the fact that they're both so happy right now. "I hope you know that I'm really happy right now." Alex laughed, well aware that Matt's happy. "Oh, I know that; and I will never doubt how happy you are. However, I just need to make sure just what we're doing right now. Are we staying out here and taking it easy in the living room? Or are we going to sit in bed and take it easy in there?" Matt smirked as Alex asked him that question. "Well, I think that's up to you my dear as you're the pregnant wife."
Alex smiled as she heard Matt say that, as that's exactly what she wants to hear; she wants to hear her husband tell her that she's his pregnant wife. It's exactly what she wants to hear, and she's just so happy over the fact that they're (a) married and (b) expecting their first (and second) child with each other. Two little babies that they already love more than anything in the entire world, because they are just oh so wanted. And that's precisely what their children are. They're already oh so loved, and they're already wanted more than anything in the entire world. And that's something that their children will never need to ask them if they love them, as they'll already know they love them solely based on the way that their parents are going to treat them. But right now, Alex knew that she needed to help her husband calm down; as if he doesn't calm down, then they're going to have sex in bed. And that's not what they want to do today. Rather, they want to take it easy and just hold each other close in bed, which is precisely where they both want to be right now. They want to be in bed with each other, holding each other close as they take it easy with each other; as they watch movies together.
She just hopes that her husband is okay with the idea of them watching some Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel, because that's what she likes to do sometimes; she likes to watch Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel. But there's something else that she likes to do even more, which is watch Hallmark Movies as she cuddles up to her hunk of a husband in bed. "I think I would really enjoy it if we cuddled up to each other in bed, but I just want to cuddle up to you; I don't want to have sex with you today." Matt agreed with his wife as she said that, especially since he already knows why. "I already know that Alex, because I know that you want to talk about our new situation." Alex took a breath, well aware that they need to talk. "I just want to figure things out, how it's going to work. I mean, we have a lot to figure out." Matt was confused as he heard his wife say that, as he had no idea what she was talking about. "Care to tell me what you're talking about?" Alex sighed, agreeing with the man she loves. "I will, when we're in bed with each other. I just…I need to get my thoughts together." Matt agreed with his wife as she told him that, while getting close to her.
Bending down, he kissed his beautiful wife; while also placing his hand on the side of her face and smiled as they took things nice and slow with the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "I love you." Alex agreed with her husband as he said that. "I love you too Matt, and I'll always love you. Now listen, how about you finish the dishes? I'll go get in bed and get comfortable. I think I just want to take it easy." Seeing Alex back away to try and calm things down, Matt agreed before reaching for her hand. After which, he grabbed it and intertwined their fingers. "Hey, look at me." Alex agreed with her husband as he said that. "Take a breath, take it easy and remember that I love you more than anything. Everything is okay, and everything will always be okay as long as we're in this life together. And that's precisely how long we're going to be together, forever." Alex smiled, agreeing with Matt as he got close to her; after which, she put her hand on Matt's chest and leaned in to kiss her husband softly. Taking things slow with him, Matt smirked due to the fact that she was very happy right now. She'll always be happy, just as long as she has this man by her side, her husband.
Walking into their bedroom shortly after finishing with the dishes, Matt walked in to see his wife standing there. Standing there in all her beauty, her pregnant beauty. And that's just something that Matt loved the sight of, simply due to the fact that he loves his wife more than anything; hell, she's the love of his life. And as he stood here in quiet for a moment, he just took a chance to admire the woman he loves more than anything in the entire; the way she was sitting down in bed all comfortable with the covers on top of her, while also wearing a sexy nightgown. Yes, you just heard that right, a sexy nightgown. "I thought you were going to wear sweats today as we relaxed in bed?" Looking away from her iPad, Alex smiled as she looked up at the man of her dreams. "Oh, this? Just something that's both in the middle of being sexy and comfortable. I already know that we're staying in bed all day, so I thought that I would wear what I wanted to go to bed." Matt agreed with his wife as she said that, before realizing that she was wearing some clothes that he's never seen before. "I've never seen that nightgown before." Alex agreed with Matt, smirking. "I may have just gotten it recently."
Matt smirked as he heard Alex say that, while making his way over to her in their bed. More specifically to her side of the bed so that he can be with his wife, so that he can sit close to her and just admire her. And damn does his wife look very sexy, extremely sexy in this lingerie. And that's precisely what Matt decided to tell his wife as he sat down next to her. "God, I have such a gorgeous wife." Alex smiled as she heard Matt say that, while also feeling him place his hand on her neck; at the same time, Alex put her hand on his arm and smiled as she looked up into his eyes. At the same time, Matt smiled as he leaned in and kissed the woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. "I love you." Alex agreed with her husband as he told her that. "I love you too, and I just hope you know that I'm ready to talk today." Matt agreed with his wife as he put his hand on her stomach once more, well aware that they need to talk. "And I promise, we will talk. We'll hold each other close, and we're going to talk for as long as you want. I want you just take it easy and relax with you, I want you to relax for the sake of our kids." Alex smiled as she heard her husband say that,.
After all, that's something that she just loves the sound of: 'our kids'. Kids, as in multiple. Twins. Maybe two boys, or two girls. Maybe one of each. The possibilities were endless, just like the possibilities as to where their life can take them. They're endless, and that really makes Alex happy; especially since that life will be one with the man of her dreams, her husband Matthew Casey. "So, since you're wearing this…I can only assume that you want me to wear something similar?" Alex bit her lip. "Listen, I just want you to promise me something first." Matt looked at his wife, nodding as he grabbed her hand. "I promise, whatever you need me to promise you; I'll do it right away, because I love you." Alex agreed with her husband. "I think the reason that I was a bit…distracted and all over the place this morning, is due to the fact that I have a lot on my mind after the news that we got. The news about how we're having twins." Matt agreed with his wife as she told him that, clearly able to see the signs of that now that he actually took a moment to think about it. How she's been distracted since they got home yesterday, how it took him a moment to get her attention as they spoke.
And that's why they need to talk here in bed, as it's always easier to concentrate here for some reason. "It is just me, or is it always easier for us to get each other's attention when we're in bed?" Alex smiled, as that most certainly is the truth. "Especially when we're being all sexy and hot with each other. It's so much easier for us to just talk here." Matt agreed with his wife, while also seeing Theo jump up onto their bed. "And for the dogs to find us." Alex smiled as she heard Matt say that, as that most certainly is the truth. "Listen, whatever you want to do when it comes to clothes, I'll let you pick what you do. Don't feel obligated to get changed if you want to stay like that." Matt laughed as he heard Alex say that, as he already knew that was a lie, which he decided to tell his wife as he got up and leaned over her. Placing his hand on her neck, Matt smirked as he leaned in and kissed her softly. "That's the biggest lie that I've ever heard. We both know that you want me to wear my boxers, because you're wearing lingerie. And like you said, we're staying here all day. I might as well be undressed in case you fall asleep. Hell, if I fall asleep." Matt agreed with Alex, smiling.
After all, that's the truth; she isn't always the one that falls asleep during the day, as he does as well at times. But, that's mostly when he has a lot on his mind. "We still need to talk about your mom and stuff too." Matt agreed with Alex. "Yeah, I'm not sure I want to get you involved in that when I think about it." Alex was confused as she heard her husband tell her that, before sitting up and grabbing his hand. "Hey, look at me." Matt agreed with his wife as he stared into her eyes. "Matt, there is not getting me involved in it. I'm involved no matter what. We're in this together. I'm your wife, and you need to me to be there for you; just as much as I need you to be there for me, both in life and during the pregnancy. And that's something I want to talk about again, as I know you think that things have changed just because we have twins." Getting up to go get undressed, Matt was confused as he had no idea just what his wife was talking about as he walked over to his dresser while taking off his shirt for her. "Not sure what you're getting at there Alex." Alex agreed with Matt, as she already knew that he was probably not going to understand what she meant at first, because it was a lot.
But, what she was talking about is how she's his partner in life; and how she wants to be the woman he talks about things that are bothering him both in his personal life, as well as at the office. Or, at work at least; as he isn't going into the office that much during the pregnancy. "I guess, I just want to talk about what you think this might change for how you talk to me, what you talk to me about." Turning around as he went to take off his pants, Matt was confused as he still didn't understand what his wife was saying. "Ok. Still not following here Alex." Bending down as he took off his pants (and his socks), Matt picked them both up before folding them and setting them down on top of his dresser. And damn did Alex like the sight that was in front of her, as it was her husband just wearing tight boxers as he grabbed his deodorant and cologne. "Damn, mama like." Turning his head, Matt smiled as he looked at his wife while flexing for her a bit. "By the way, I wanted to ask you if you minded if I worked out some mornings before you get up?" Alex smiled. "I think I'd be okay with that, because I love how muscular you are." Matt agreed with Alex as he put his deodorant on for her.
After which, he grabbed his cologne and went to put some on. "Which one?" Matt smirked. "Armani." Alex smirked. "Oh, going all out for me. Is daddy craving some sexy attention from his wife today?" Setting his cologne down, Matt went to grab his phone from on top of his dresser before going to put it on silent (with the exception of his emergency contacts); after all, the last thing he wants right now is to be disturbed when he's talking to his wife and spending some intimate time with her in bed. Time where they just want to hold each other close, as they talk and work through some things that they need to talk to each other about. And if there's one thing that Matt already knows, it's that Alex already has a lot on her mind. So, she's going to want to talk to him about whatever she has on her mind for a while. She's going to want to make sure that they just take it easy and relax with each other, while also talking about everything and anything that they have on their minds at the moment. And that's precisely what they're going to do once Matt's in bed with the woman he loves, they're going to talk about everything and anything that they have on their minds.
His wife looked absolutely gorgeous as she laid down in bed in front of him, with Matt currently right in front of her as he concentrated on what matter right now, which would be him kissing her and just taking things nice and slow with the woman he loves ahead of the two of them taking some time to talk here in the comfort of their bed. Yes, you heard that right; they're taking things slow with each other ahead of them talking due to the fact that they don't want to be all stressed out while they're talking. They just want to take it easy as they concentrate on what matters at the end of the day, just how much they love and want to be with each other. "I love you Alex." Alex agreed with her dreamy husband as he told her that he loves her, which is something that she most certainly already knew. "Oh, I already knew that. That's something that you have no need to worry about telling me." Matt smirked as Alex told him that, but that doesn't mean that he's not going to tell her that he loves her; especially now that he can do it openly around the world. "Oh, you are never going to not hear me say it as much as I can. I've been censored for long enough as it is." Alex agreed with Matt.
After all, that's the best word that he can use to describe what he's been for the past little while; censored. He's been censored due to the fact that they haven't been able to express or show their love for one another, which is precisely what they want to do; they want to show the world that they love each other more than anything in the entire world. And that's precisely what they're doing when they're together in bed, just not right now as they aren't having sex; nor will they be having sex when they instead need to talk to each other instead. "Ok. So, we said that we need to talk about some things." Alex agreed with her husband as he told her that, well aware that was the case. She knew that they needed to talk, which is precisely why they're in bed with each other. "I know, which is why we're in bed; and I am more than ready to talk now, and whenever you feel like you need to talk to me." Matt agreed with his wife as she told him that, smiling as he leaned in and kissed the most beautiful woman in the entire world. The woman he loves more than anything in the entire world. His wife, Alexandra Marie Casey. "I love you so much." Alex agreed with Matt, smiling at her husband.
And as she smiled, Alex decided that she was going to speak first. "Okay, I think that I'm going to start when it comes to the conversation as I'm the woman." Matt agreed with Alex, as he's more than okay with having her start the conversation, which is precisely what Alex is doing. "So, the reason I want to talk is I want to just figure things out. I mean, I know we already spoke when we found out that I was pregnant, and you told me that you were always going to put our family first. Fine, I don't need to go over that again. I promise that I already know that and I'm fine with that." Matt agreed with his wife, glad that she was fine with that as that made him very happy. "But what I feel like I need to talk to you about, is just the logistics and everything. Like, are we staying here in Malibu? And then, is it just until I give birth and then are we moving? Or is this where I need to start making more friends, like mommy friends? Do I need to find people I can hang out with while you work? Do I need to get a social group here?" Matt agreed with his wife as she asked him those questions. "Or, are we going to go back to Chicago so that we can have help with our children?"
Matt bit his lip, as that was something he hadn't even thought about; but he's glad that Alex did think about it, as it means that they have a chance to talk about it together right now. "I didn't even think about that, but I'm glad that you brought it up; that way, we can talk about it together. So, thanks for bringing it up." Alex agreed with her husband, smiling as she leaned in and kissed him softly. "No problem baby, I just want to give you help when it comes to this. And that actually keeps us on topic, as there's something that I already want to tell you, which is that we aren't getting a nanny under any circumstances, because we're going to raise our children. A nanny will not be raising our children, as that's not what I want to have when it comes to us raising children." Matt agreed with his beautiful wife, as he felt the same way. Under no circumstances does he want his children to be raised by a nanny, not when they have two parents who already love them more than anything in the entire world; and, they also have grandparents who love them too.
And that's why they really need to talk about this. "God, we just moved out here. Are we really already thinking about moving back? I mean, we moved to Miami, then here; are we really going to move right back to Chicago?" Placing her hands on Matt's face as they both slipped close to one another, Alex smiled as she felt Matt wrap his arms around her as they held each other close; after which, he leaned in and kissed the woman he loves. "First, I want to say this." Alex agreed with Matt. "Wherever we live, I'm a happy man because I have you by my side. I love you more than anything, and I couldn't be prouder of the fact that we're married." Alex agreed with Matt, smiling as she kissed the man she loves once more. "But we need to be practical, and we do need to think about what we need when the kids are born; hell, when you need to work, and I might need help with going to the doctor." Matt shook his head, as that's the last thing he wanted Alex to think about. "Hey, don't even worry about that. I'm going to be at every appointment, I guarantee." Alex agreed with her husband as he told her that, before kissing him once more as they took it slow with each other.
Another guarantee that she needs? It's that they're going to stay here. While she does love the idea of them being in Chicago to be close to family, she wants to be in California as they start this new life as they bring new life into the world. "I want to stay in California for the first year and a half of our marriage, I want to be here so that we can just have a fresh start without any baggage behind us." Matt agreed with his wife, well aware that was the reason why they came here in the first place; and he couldn't agree more that they were going to do just that. "Good, then it's settled. This is home for the next couple years." Alex agreed with Matt. "Then, are you thinking of moving the office here? Or are you going to work from afar?" Matt bit his lip. "I think I can work from afar. We have the technology that allows us to do that now, so it shouldn't be a problem. I think the real question is whether you're okay being so far away from Jessica." Alex bit her lip, as that was the real question. "She's dating someone in Chicago." Matt agreed with his wife, well aware that she is. "Yes, and her best friend also lives in Chicago." Alex just looked at her husband. "No, I don't live in Chicago."
Matt sighed, well aware that his wife is confused now. "I mean Jessica's girlfriend's best friend lives in Chicago. Gabby's Shay's best friend." Alex understood, smiling at her husband as she put her hand on his face. "Damn, such a small world. "My best friend is dating my romantic rival's best friend." Matt was shocked. "Wait, your romantic rival? What are you talking about?" Alex gave her husband a bit of side-eye, as he had to know that Gabby had a thing for him. "You have to know that Gabby has feelings for you, you'd be blind not to see that." Matt was actually quite surprised to hear Alex tell him that, as he truly had no idea that Gabby had romantic feelings for him. "I'm being 100% honest when I say this, I had no idea that she had romantic feelings for me." Alex nodded as she put her hand on Matt's face, while also kissing him and taking things nice and slow with the man of her dreams. "Yeah, keep thinking that baby." Alex then pushed her husband on his back, before climbing on top of him and cuddling up to him; she then started to kiss his neck and smirked as she sucked on it as a way to tease him. And damn did Matt love the feeling of her sucking on his neck.
She was still laying down on his chest, sucking on his neck as a way to tease him; to make him feel incredibly happy as they held each other close here in bed, as they showed each other love. As they gave each other the pleasure that they want and deserve to receive from each other now that they're married, which truly is a lot of fun. And that's precisely why they're showing each other that they love each other, as they're madly in love with each other. It's just the best feeling in the entire world, and they are both having oh so much fun; yet, matt and Alex also both knew that they can't keep going on like this for too long when they instead need to have her take it easy. They both need to relax and just cuddle up to each other instead. And right now, that's precisely what Alex is doing as she laid down on her husband's chest. As she cuddled up to him, while he leaned back against a pillow and just too it easy; at the same time, Matt ran his fingers up and down her back as a way to keep her calm while they watch the Hallmark Channel. He then decided that he was going to tug the covers up, which Alex helped him do as they got comfortable here with each other. And it felt great.
It felt incredible, because Matt is just holding her exactly how she wants to be held right now. She wants to be held close by the man of her dreams, as they take it easy and just relax with each other; she wants to lay down on her husband's muscular chest, as he strokes her back and presses his lips to her forehead. And just like she wants, that's precisely what Matt was in the midst of doing as she cuddled up to him. He was running his hand all over her body, as he pressed his lips to her forehead. "God, you have no idea how much I love the feeling of you kissing my forehead as you are right now. And just the way you hold me in your arms is every better." Matt agreed with Alex as he ran his hand up and down her back, which is precisely what his beautiful wife wants. "I love being here too, because I am just oh so happy." Grabbing the TV remote, Matt turned it up and made sure that it was loud enough for them both to be able to hear it; as right now, it was just a bit too low for him. "Let me guess, it's hard to hear for you." Matt agreed, as it was. It was a bit too hard to hear for him, which is the entire reason why he just turned it up. So that he could hear the TV much clearer.
And now, he could. He could hear it clearly, which was perfect; but not as perfect as what they had right here, how Alex was sleeping on his chest as they cuddled up to each other here in bed. The way Alex was on his chest truly is perfect, and it makes Matt feel incredibly lucky to have such a beautiful woman in his life. She's the love of his life, and there's nobody that he'd rather be married to right now. Hell, that he'd want to spend some time with. He just wants to be alone with his wife, but it turned out that wasn't going to be the case as he just heard somebody walk into their home. "Thank god, so glad that he told me that I can crash here on business rather than in a hotel." Recognizing the voice, Matt sighed as he went to yell out. "Kelly, don't you dare come towards our room!" Hearing his boss, Matt was shocked. "Matt? Is that you?" Alex agreed with Kelly. "Yeah, go sit in the living room idiot!" Kelly just agreed with his boss' wife as she said that. "Yes, Ms. Casey." Alex agreed with Kelly. "And don't forget it." Kelly then walked away, while Alex sat up and looked at her husband. "How the hell did he get in here?" Matt sighed. "I gave my friends keys to our places."
Alex looked at her husband. "It's in case they ever have business in town, save money on hotel. Plus, the homes just sit empty a lot of the time, so somebody might as well use them." Alex sighed, but understood the reasons behind that. "Listen, you go talk to Kelly and get him settled in another room. We're obviously not staying in here." Matt was shocked. "What, but…" Alex just looked at her husband. "He's here, we might as well spend time with him." Getting up out of bed, Alex walked away to go freshen up. "Either listen, or no sex later." Matt agreed with his wife. "I love you." Alex agreed, before walking away to go fresh up; while Matt got up and just sighed as he got ready to talk to his friend about how he rudely interrupted them. "Yeah, yeah. Love you too." Matt laughed when he heard Alex tell him that, before going to grab his sweats so that he can get dressed and make his way out to the living room where he has plans to talk to his best friend. "Oh, take the key back. He is not keeping a key to our homes. Babe, we're having kids." Matt agreed with his wife as she said that, sighing as he made his way back over to his dresser and proceeded to get dressed once more this morning.
