Tohru woke up in her bed back in her apartment that she shared with her mom. She looked over to her alarm going off. She sat up and she turned the alarm off. She looked around. Yes, this was the apartment that she shared with her mom. But why was she here? How could she be here? "Tohru, are you up? You are going to be late for school." Kyoko came around the corner. Tohru looked at her in shock. "That's not like you, you are usually up early." said Kyoko with a smile.

Tohru shot up and she hugged her mom. Kyoko was taken by surprise. "What's all this?" asked. "I just really missed you." she said with a smile. Kyoko smiled and she hugged her daughter tightly. "But come on, you need to get ready for school, you overslept." Tohru nodded and she quickly got ready. She opened her door and Hanajima and Uo were waiting for her. They started to walk to school. "Tohru, are you okay? You seem very spaced out today." said Uo. Tohru smiled and she shook her head. "I just had a dream and it was very real." she said with a smile. "I was friends with these people. But I don't know who they are." They looked at her. "What were their names?" asked Uo.

Tohru looked at them. "I don't know. I don't know their names or their faces. But they meant a lot to me. And I lived with them for some reason." They stopped and looked at her. "Why would you have to stay with strangers?" asked Uo. Tohru looked at them. She put her hand to her forehead. "I don't know. I think something happened and I had to move."

"Is your head hurting?" asked Hanajima. Tohru looked at her and smiled. "No, just trying to remember." she said with a sweet smile. They made it to school. They were walking in the hallway. "Did you get that homework done?" asked Uo. Tohru sweat dropped. "I think I forgot!" She panicked and she ran into someone. She hit the ground hard.

"Pardon me, I didn't watch where I was going." came a gentle voice. She looked up and there stood a boy with grey eyes and grey hair. He took her hand helped her up. Tohru felt like a shock go through her when she touched the boy's hand. She looked at him in wonder. He met her eyes and looked at her questionably. She blushed. "I am so sorry!" she said bowing. The young boy smiled. "It's okay. I am sorry for knocking you down."

Tohru smiled and she nodded. "I am okay." she said. The boy gave her another smile. "Yuki, come on, we need to get to class." came another student. Another spark went through Tohru when she heard the boy's name. Yuki smiled and nodded. He looked at Tohru. "Sorry, again." he said, walking away. Hanajima and Uo walked over to her.

"Who was that?" asked Tohru. They looked at her in shock. "What?" she asked, blushing. "That's Yuki Soma. He's the prince of our grade. But he doesn't really talk to anyone else but his family members and the members of student council." Tohru watched Yuki as he walked away. "Are you okay, Tohru? Are you feeling okay?" asked Hanajima.

Tohru smiled and nodded. "I just didn't have a whole lot of sleep last night." They both nodded and all three girls headed to their first class. The school day passed in a blur for Tohru. She walked home with her friends. 'Why do I feel like this isn't my life? Like this is wrong? Why do I feel so out of place here?' she asked herself.

She came back in the house. "I'm home!" She called. The apartment was empty. "Mom must still be at work." she said as she started dinner. She tried her hardest to focus on cooking. 'Why do I feel so anxious? Like something awful is going to happen? Or has something already happened?' she asked herself. "Would you shut up you damn rat! You really get on my damn nerves!"

Tohru snapped out of her trance. She walked outside and there was that Yuki boy. And he was arguing with a orange haired boy. She felt a sharp pain in her back and she gasped out in pain. The Yuki boy looked up. "Ms. Honda, are you okay?" he asked. Tohru tried to brush off the pain in her back. "Yeah, must have stood up wrong." She said with a smile.

Yuki returned the smile. "I'm not done talking to you, you stupid rat!" yelled the orange haired boy. Yuki rolled his eyes. Tohru walked down the stairs and she walked toward Yuki. She smiled. "Hi, my name is Tohru Honda." she said holding her hand out to the orange haired boy. "No one cares who you are!" yelled the orange haired boy, turning to look at her.

The moment their eyes met, the pain in her back came back. She cried out as she dropped to her knees. The orange haired boy held her up. Resting her against his arm. He looked at her in concern. Flashes of this boy crying flashed through Tohru's head. 'Please.' Pleaded the boy. "Hey, are you okay!" he yelled. She looked at him and her world went black.

Tohru walked in black. "Hello? Mom? Uo? Hana?" she called, looking around the space. She turned again and she saw the orange haired boy. She looked at him. "Oh, it's you." she said. He turned and looked at her. "Who am I?" he asked. Tohru looked at him with confusion. "What?" she asked, walking toward him. "Who am I? What is my name?" he asked. Tohru shook her head. "I don't know." She said. He looked at her with sadness. "You know my name. Tohru." he said.

She woke up the next morning in her bed. She sat up. She looked around. She was in her apartment. "Tohru, how are you feeling?" asked Kyoko as she sat down next to Tohru. "You passed out last night. Those two boys that you go to school with were kind of you to call me and bring you home." she said. Tohru held her head.

"Does your head still hurt?" asked Kyoko. Tohru looked up and there stood the orange haired boy behind her mother. He was glowing. "Who are you?" asked Tohru. The boy looked at her. "You know who I am, Tohru. Come back to me. What is my name?" he asked. Tohru shook her head. "I don't know." He walked closer to her.

He knelt in front of her. "You know my name. Just look into your heart. Close your eyes. And focus. Focus so you come back to me." Tohru shut her eyes and she tried to focus.

"Ms. Honda, your mother has been in an accident." Tohru ran from the classroom and she ran down the hall

Tohru made it to the hospital and she cried over her mother's body.

She was living in a tent.

Shigure and Yuki invited her to live with them.

So many ran through Tohru's head to the point where it hurt. And he back hurt too. There was a sharp stabbing pain in her back. She gasped in pain. She looked at the orange haired boy. "What is my name, Tohru?" asked the boy. Tohru continued to have memories swirl through her mind. The orange haired boy kissing her. 'I love you.' echoing in her ears.

Her eyes shot open. She was back in the blackness. She looked behind her and there stood her mother with a loving smile. "Mom?" she asked walking towards her. Kyoko gave her a smile. "Do you remember who that boy is?" she asked. Tohru nodded. "Yes, but then that means that you really aren't here right now." she said with sadness in her voice.

On the other side of the darkness stood the boy. Tohru stopped and looked at him. "Who is that boy?" asked Kyoko. Tohru turned and looked at her mom. "It's Kyo." she said. Suddenly there was a bright light on the side of Kyo. He stood there with a smile and he held out his hand. Tohru took a step toward him and stopped. She looked at her mother.

Tears filled her eyes. "No, I don't want to leave you." she said, running to her mother. She hugged her and held her tightly as she cried. Kyoko stroked her hair and she kissed her head. "My beloved Tohru, you are not supposed to be here yet. It's too early for you. You still have your whole life to live. You deserve to have your epic love story with Kyo. You deserve to be happy. You aren't leaving or losing me. I will be here when you are ready to be here. And I will always be there. Even when you cant see me."

Kyoko put her lips to Tohru's forehead. "I love you so much Tohru. And I will see you again." she said with a smile. "Go, baby." Tohru separated from her mom and she let tears fall. "I love you too, mom. And I promise that I will keep making you proud of me. I love you." she said. She let go of her mother's hand and she walked over to Kyo and she took his hand. They walked into the light.

The first thing that she felt was immense pain in her back. And she could feel moisture on her face. Her eyes fluttered open and she looked. There was Kyo hugging her body to his and he was sobbing. She reached up and she grabbed his hand. He gasped and looked at her. She looked into his tear stained red eyes. "What?" He asked.
