Chapter 3 enjoy
Lucy sits in the guild hall, watching many members pick and complete solo jobs as fast as possible.
It was only after talking to Mira she learned many wanted to get picked for the S-class trials.
Speaking of members doing solo jobs, she saw Natsu take one before running off with Happy.
"Hope this one doesn't take too long." She remembered the announcement for who was participating in one week.
Natsu and Happy didn't return after three days, and there was still no sign two days later.
The day of the announcement came, and still no sign of Natsu.
With no sign of Natsu, Makarov was forced to pick a jet to take his place.
The following week, there was still no sign of Natsu, making him unable to participate in this year's S-class trials.
The remaining Fairy tail guild members learned their friends' fate three days later.
Two weeks later, the front doors of the guild hall opened up. All everyone could see from the blinding white light was a tall figure.
When their eyes finally adjusted, they saw their fire dragon slayer in the flesh with Happy on his shoulder.
As he walks into the guild, they see Natsu mildly bandaged up, walking with a cane to the center of the guildhall.
They are quick to notice his expression. It wasn't sadness or anger. It was conviction.
Macao is the first to find the strength to ask, "Natsu, what happened to you?" Natsu didn't say anything at first.
"My last job went well. Unfortunately, a forest fire broke out shortly after."
"No problem for you,"
"It was easy, and I decided to stay the night to rest up. But then it happened again and again."
"Once is happenstance, twice is a coincidence, three times is an enemy!" Macao said, remembering the adage getting a nod from Natsu and Happy.
"I eventually found the guy responsible and dealt with him severely. Unfortunately, he used a hostage to his advantage and got a cheap shot on me."
"You spent the past few weeks recovering?"
"Yes, I have, and when I'm done, it's time to take it up a notch with my training!" This gets nods of approval from everyone.
Natsu's eyes suddenly widened. "Shit, no doubt Hisui worried sick about me after learning of tenrou island!"
"Let your wounds heal first, Natsu!" Macao said in a voice, making him sound like a guildmaster.
"Yes, master macao!" He said teasingly, getting a chuckle and agreement from the others.
With some help from Porlyusica, Natsu was back on his feet within the week.
Natsu sits at the guild bar, getting much-needed food in his belly.
"I assume you start training once you're done eating Natsu?" Kinana said.
"I have to check in on a friend. She probably worried sick about me," he said with a sigh.
Everyone cringed hearing this, with the core members gone, leaving only one person on Natsu's list of female friends.
"Hisui Is probably going to kill you, Natsu," Macao, the new guild master, added.
"Please don't remind me," he said with horror in his eyes.
"No putting it off any longer."
"Better get going. Unfortunately, I have no idea how long I'll be gone."
"Will be here waiting for your return." He waved everyone goodbye as he left the guildhall.
Princess Hisui is curled up in a ball on her bedroom mattress. She hadn't left her room in days, and her food was delivered directly.
Her mind fixated on what happened to Tenrou Island, where Fairy tail S-class trials are held.
Natsu has often mentioned how he wants to be S-class. All the participants were destroyed, along with the whole island.
"Princess Hisui, you need to come out of your room. It's important!" The voice of Arcadios said.
"No, I said I want to be alone!" She shouts
"Trust me, you are going to want to see this!" Hisui could hear the smile in his voice.
Knowing he wouldn't let up, she willed herself to her feet before opening her bedroom door.
Shock takes her over to see Natsu standing at the door with Happy on his shoulder and massive smirks on their face.
She grabs Natsu's shirt with dragon-like strength, dragging him into her room. The door slams behind him, leaving Happy and Arcadios in the dust.
"I have a feeling they're going to be there for a while," Happy said.
"Agreed!"
"Where are the fish? I'm hungry after a long journey?" Acadios led the exceed to the dining hall.
Natsu found himself backed against the wall. Hisui stood across from him with her head down.
Without warning, she repeatedly slammed her closed fist on his chest like a small child with its toys taken away.
"DO YOU KNOW HOW WORRIED I WAS, NATSU! You've repeatedly told me how you want to be an S-class mage with the upcoming trials. Then I found out tenrou was destroyed thinking you were on the island." By this time, she stopped hitting him and was crying into his chest.
Just as she pulled away, Natsu brought her into a comforting hug.
"I'm sorry for worrying you, and it won't happen again," he whispered into her ear.
"You promise," she said into his chest.
"Aye, sir," Natsu, quoting Happy favorite line, caused Hisui to giggle.
The locked eyes once more, using her tippy toes, slowly rose, leaning towards him. He follows her lead and leans towards her till their lips touch.
When the kiss was finished, they put their forehead against each other with massive smiles.
Wanting more, they kissed once more. Hisui's arm snaked around his neck as Natsu held her protectively.
Hisui slowly led him toward her bed before falling over the covers.
This shifted position, Natsu flat on his back, Hisui snuggled up to him. Her head was in the crook of his neck as he held her protectively, and his nose inhaled her scent. The two immersed themselves in their embrace.
An hour later, Arcadios and Happy returned.
"Did they come out yet? '' Arcadios asked the servant at the hall entrance.
"No, sir." Arcadios was now worried. He was going to the worst case. A glance at Happy told him he shared his concern.
Fully aware of what Natsu is capable of if they barged in unannounced.
With a mix of fear and bravery, the two carefully open Hisui's bedroom door.
Peeking toward Hisui's bed, they sighed in relief, seeing the two fully clothed on top of the covers of Hisui's bed.
Arcadios silently took a quick sniff of the air, letting out another sigh of relief.
"It's rude to barge into someone's room without knocking!"
Knight and Exceed freeze, hearing Natsu's words as he glares at the two, holding Hisui protectively.
"Sorry, but being an adult man like myself, I'm sure you can understand my concern, Natsu!" Arcadios informed. Just then, Hisui sighed, trying to rub the sleep from her eyes.
When her eyes adjusted, she saw Natsu bring a smile to her face before noticing Arcadios and Happy.
She glanced towards Natsu before looking at the time. She blushed like a tomato.
"Arcadios Happy, do you mind!" Natsu shouts with annoyance.
"Sorry!" they said before closing the door behind them.
Natsu looks to Hisui once more. Thankfully, her blush is fading fast.
"I'd love to stay longer, but I'm hungry," he said as his stomach went off, causing Hisui to giggle.
Of course, on the way to the dinner hall, Natsu didn't hesitate to put his arm around Hisui's waist.
She blushed at this but didn't stop him as she felt relieved. Everyone they walked past had to take a double take at Natsu's confidence.
Natsu sported a smug grin at this, but he lost it when Toma made himself known.
Natsu and Hisui cringed as he stood across from them with a neutral expression. He turns away from them, heading towards the diner hall.
"Took you long enough." he gives them a sideways glance with a smirk.
Internally, Toma was doing gymnastics with them, finally becoming a couple.
Not only has his daughter chosen her partner, but it is someone who can protect her if the need arises.
And last, he can tell his advisers to stop breathing down his neck about Hisui being a bachelorette.
When the two finally showed up for breakfast, they sat beside each other.
For the first time in a long time, Natsu tried to show some sense of manners.
Fortunately, he is an excellent example to go off of, his girlfriend, Hisui.
After a mountain of food in his belly, he let out a burp before cringing, realizing how rude it was.
This got chuckles all around, and a new thought came to mind.
"I'd love to sit and chat, but I need to up my training…after what happened," this got approval.
Hisui led him to the training ground, where the guard used to stay in peak physical shape.
Natsu dropped down to the ground, doing pushups. Hisui left him alone before returning.
No longer in her dress, she typically wore exercising shorts and short-sleeved t-shirts with tennis shoes.
Natsu gave her a smirk of encouragement. She got into a pushup position like him.
As she did her exercises, Natsu had to fight off a blush when her breast started bouncing from her workout.
Hisui stifles a giggle, seeing her boyfriend trying to keep his composure.
After the exercises were done, the two got into a sparring stance.
They spared for a few hours. Of course, they took a few short breaks for Hisui to catch her breath.
"Getting batter," Natsu praised, getting another smile from Hisui before resuming sparing form again.
"Keep this up, and I'll be out of a job," Arcadios said from the sideline. Hisui blushed from the praise.
After another hour, they stopped the sparring. Hisui put on sparring armor as she held a wooden sword.
Another member of the guard stood across from her with a wooden sword.
The two spared for a whole hour before calling it a day.
When training was done, Natsu did something Hisui thought he would never do. He asked her out on a date.
He took her to the best restaurant in the capital. Of course, this got the attention of many onlookers.
Natsu's close friendship with Hisui is common knowledge in the capital. But none would have guessed he would take it out on a date.
The night ended with Hisui kissing him on the lips in public before hugging his arm as the two walked home.
Sorcerer Weekly journalist Jason showed up at the castle's front doors the following day, asking for Natsu and Hisui.
Unfortunately for the guards, he hadn't trespassed. They could do nothing but repeatedly tell him to leave.
Seeing the game between Jason and the guards play going round and round again, Natsu and Hisui decided to get it over with.
"Guards!" Hisui shouts while walking down the castle steps, getting Jason's attention, hoping to get the next scoop.
"Yes, princess!"
"Natsu and I have agreed to One interview with him!" She glares daggers at Jason, telling him he better tread lightly.
He followed her lead, ultimately meeting with Natsu, who was heading to her dad's study.
Natsu and Hisui plus Happy on one side, Jason on the other.
"It's safe to assume you two are dating, but everyone wants to know more of your story!"
The three trade glances before divulging their history.
After an hour of asking questions, Jason was satisfied. He thanked them for their time and left,
As soon as he got off the final step of the castle entrance, Natsu Hisui and Happy let out a sigh of relief.
"Everyone saying you give Fairy Tail special treatment will not be happy about this." He said in a sad tone.
"Fairy Tail has earned our trust if that is a special treatment!" She brings a small smile to her boyfriend's face.
Natsu and Happy stayed with Hisui for another week before reluctantly returning to the fairy tail guild.
Unfortunately for Natsu, he had a slight delay on his way home.
It was an assassin after his head. He can only assume with Erza and many others gone, the only person standing between Hisui and the bastards wanting power is him.
He let the man live solely to stop any future would-be assassin after him.
Natsu continues to visit his girlfriend once a month, but instead of staying a few days, it is one week.
As time passed, that bastard who got a cheap shot of Natsu putting him down for a few weeks turned out to be a blessing in disguise.
When Natsu wasn't with Hisui, he trained and did jobs to keep the guild afloat.
After another lengthy conversation between Natsu Hisui and King Toma, Natsu reluctantly accepted their help. By paying off the debt, they still owe building the new guildhall.
Months went by, and everyone grew in strength bit by bit. This led to Macao promoting Natsu to the S-class.
Natsu initially rejected the promotion since he didn't participate in the previous exams.
But Macao and everyone were very persistent, pointing out that Natsu is the strongest mage in the guild.
If anyone deserves it, it's him. This promotion proved helpful when a rival guild moved into Magnolia, and Natsu quickly sent them packing.
Before they knew it, over a year had passed since the tenrou group disappeared.
Many things changed during that time. For one, Bisca and Alzack married and had a daughter named Asuka.
She just turned nine months old, marking the beginning of X786 summer.
Speaking of the summer, Hisui invited Natsu to join her on an annual summer vacation.
On the southern coast of Fiore sits an isolated Private beach for the royal family to enjoy.
Hisui comes here every summer to relax and escape her life of royalty.
Of course, it is heavily guarded to prevent outsiders and the press from spying on the royal family.
This was the first year that someone outside the royal family and guards was invited.
It was Natsu, of course, with Happy being a close friend to Hisui since her father was busy and didn't want to be out there alone, minus her protectors.
Plus, his enhanced senses were a bonus if anyone tried to sneak in to harm the princess.
He had to teach assassins and press members a lesson in the first three days.
He was surprised to learn there was a natural hot spring nearby to take baths in.
Besides a few unlucky intruders, Natsu was having fun spending time with his girlfriend.
Currently, they're playing a game of volleyball on the beach. Natsu had to check himself a few times as he watched his girlfriend run around in a black bikini that left little to the imagination.
Of course, Happy didn't hesitate to tease him about this.
Seeing Happy tease, Natsu caused Hisui to giggle at her boyfriend's misfortune.
Natsu threatened to punch him if he didn't stop. Happy took off like a bullet, and Natsu chased around the beach.
Seeing his antics brought a smile to her face. This made her ponder their relationship. They've known each other personally for about three years and have been dating for half that time.
Naughty thoughts started invading her mind as she thought about their relationship. She's wanted to take their relationship to the next for some time. That's one reason she wanted him to come with her on vacation.
Pink dusted her cheeks as she felt moisture between her thighs. She hopes Natsu's sense of smell fails him now.
Thinking more, she quickly races to the ocean While he is still chasing Happy.
She sighed in relief as she sank into the ocean water. It was bad enough. She had thought unbecoming of a princess, but it would be even worse if everyone had proof.
Just then, Natsu uses a fire dragon claw spell to rocket into the air, doing a cannonball, sending water everywhere.
He was soon joined by a few male and female guard members who wanted to enjoy the water.
With the sun touching the horizon, everyone called it a day. Everyone took turns taking baths in the hot springs.
Natsu decided to go last and to make sure none of the male servants didn't try to get a sneak peek at the female guards, especially his girlfriend.
Once they were finished, Natsu took his turn heading to the hot springs.
Hisui waited till the male servants were all fast asleep. Fortunately, she didn't have to wait long. This left Natsu being the only one still up.
After 10 minutes of waiting, she executed her plan and quietly slipped away.
She hopes Natsu will focus on cleaning himself so he doesn't notice her.
Her luck held out for her; she stood behind the brushes, seeing Natsu in the water stretching, his arm behind his head.
Hisui managed to pull herself from the display, with Natsu looking away. She undressed and carefully slipped into the warm water.
She carefully slid over towards him, ensuring not to make too much noise.
When Natsu finished washing himself, he noticed something out of the corner of his eye.
When he faces the source, he is shocked to see Hisui sunk in the slightly murky water up to her shoulders.
Natsu couldn't stop the blush from forming as he was silent at the idea that both he and Hisui were naked.
Hisui let out a giggle at Natsu's expression, and it was clear as day that he didn't have a clue in how to proceed.
She got closer and closer to him. Panicked, he backed away from her till he hit a boulder on the water's edge.
She continued her mission, Crouch in the shallow water in front of Natsu, who covered his eyes.
Taking matters into her hands, she pulled his hands from his face, not letting go.
"Natsu, open your eyes!" he reluctantly complied, still seeing her head, the only thing above water.
She stood straight up. The water line was at her lower belly. She giggled, and the deer in the headlight looked into Natsu's eyes.
She brought his hands to her breast only to moan as he needed the soft flesh.
She fell forward for Natsu to catch her, only to lock lips.
Hisui put her forehead to his eyes, looking deeply into each other's eyes. She gave him a slight nod to continue.
One of his arms found itself behind her waist and the other her upper back as he instigated another kiss, sinking deeper into the water.
When they finally finished the dance between their bodies, Hisui sat on Natsu's lap, resting her head in the crook of his neck.
She ultimately emersed in Natsu's embrace as he held her protectively.
"As much as I enjoy this, I'm getting tired."
"Agreed, just hope we didn't make too much noise."
"One way to find out"
They quickly dried themselves off, thanks to Natsu flames, and carefully headed back to camp.
They went their separate ways at the villa. Natsu found his spot under the stars on a blanket he was using to keep the bugs away.
Hisui just pulled up the covers of her bed before one of the lamps turned on, revealing Elizabeth, the head female of the guards, with a smirk.
"Have fun, did we!" Hisui blushed like a ripened tomato. Only for the few other female servants to pop in.
"I'm 20 years old. I'm old enough to make my own decisions," Hisui said with conviction.
"Pay up, girls, I called it!" all the girls came out of hiding, pulling out wads of jewel and handing them to Elizabeth.
"Was he as good in bed as he fights? Lucky bitch, you have to tell us the details, Hisui!" were the first word out of the servant's mouth.
"Tomorrow, it's late and I'm tired,"
"Because it's nighttime or Natsu?" Elizabeth said with a smirk. Hisui buried herself in the covers, hoping they would leave her alone.
The remainder of the vacation was uneventful, minus Natsu and Hisuu being closer than before.
Once the vacation was done, Natsu headed back to the Fairy Tail Guild to do some jobs.
His dating the princess isn't an excuse not to take jobs if it means keeping the guild afloat.
Nothing major happened for Natsu or Hisui for two months.
That was until Hisui, out of the blue, started getting sick, concerning many.
Hisui just dumped the contents of her stomach in her bedroom bathroom. She felt like shit the past few days. Some of the servants stand outside the bathroom.
All are wondering if the princess will be okay, and some are wondering about the cause of her sudden illness affecting the princess.
Not only that but will it be contagious? If so, the princess must be in quarantine for a few days at least.
Suddenly, one of the female servants entered the bathroom. It was Elizabeth.
She crouched down to the princess' side, trying to comfort her.
"I hope it doesn't turn into anything serious, princess."
"I hope so, too. I'm just wondering what could have caused this?"
Elizabeth thought backward of everything that happened. Her mind scanned week after week till the week-long vacation.
Her eyes went wide at the realization of the events that week. She gathered her strength for what would come out of her mouth.
"Princess, when was your last period?"
Hisui's eyes widened, remembering her last period was before the week-long vacation.
"Elizabeth, I think I'm pregnant!"
A pregnancy test later confirmed this. Elizabeth looked to Hisui for some expression.
The expression she sees is a small smile,
"Seems someone doesn't mind."
"I've always dreamed of being a mother one day, and Natsu being the father is even better. Just hope he doesn't abandon me." his smile is replaced with fear.
"Natsu will be excited to be a dad, especially you giving him a child." Elizabeth gave Hisui a small hug of reassurance.
