Hey everyone, sorry for the late update. Life is busy but I have also been trying to deal with a "troll". I apologize you had to see the unsettling nasty reviews from guest reviewers. I was brought down by it, and because of it, I had to disable guests from reviewing. I'm sorry, if anyone wants to review then please feel free to make a real account.

Also, to the guest reviewers who ask me questions about the stories, I cannot reply to your answers because fanfiction does not allow me to do so. It's not my fault.

I hope I will continue to get good feedback from people, and I appreciate those who do. I will do my best to stick to my stories as well as I can.

Chapter 2

The young mammoth creeped toward the crevice that she couldn't fit in. Trying to squeeze through, Peaches let out a grunt and managed to pull herself back out. "Hello?"

"Go away!" said an unfamiliar voice.

Peaches blinked in confusion. "I won't hurt you, I'm part possum. You're small, right?"

It only took a few more silent seconds before the unknown creature slowly peaked his head out. A molehog.

"You really won't?" he asked.

Peaches thought he was adorable and it was the least she could do to not squeal. "Of course I won't!" She backed up so the molehog could come out.

When he didn't move, the mammoth decided to make small talk instead to gain his trust. "What's your name?" she asked.

"I'm..I'm Louis," he said as he shifted a little further. He realized that she wasn't all that scary, and had the most beautiful green eyes.

"Hi, Louis!" the mammoth replied happily. "My name is Peaches. You're a molehog, huh? Join the club! My herd is full of differences."

Louis began to feel comfortable, and realized that Peaches was harmless. He finally came out completely. He was only the size of Peaches' foot.

"So, are you playing Hide and Seek?" Peaches asked curiously. "I was just going on an adventure with my uncles."

Before Louis could answer, the voices of Crash and Eddie were heard, and Peaches instantly turned to see the possum brothers facing her.

"What are you doing down here?" Crash asked.

"Yeah, didn't you wanna see our spot?" Eddie added.

"Oh, uh, yeah," Ellie replied as she turned her head so she could introduce her new friend to them.

However, Louis had already fled, and Peaches was more than disappointed.

"Come on, just a little further," Crash said before he climbed back up the hill with his brother.

Peaches sighed in disappointment. I barely know him but he seemed so nice, she thought.

The young mammoth tried to push it aside, and followed Crash and Eddie.
