"Afternoon Tea, can kits drink tea since Daddy and Nebs won't let me have coffee but we'll still have fun, right guys." RJ asked making Rocket, Rocket Senior, Nebula and Rocke chuckle, at the male-kits's innocent questioning as he was just being curious.
It was a few days later after the picnic and meeting the entire Dynasty but Marie Rockette had invited them for afternoon tea at her bakery which made Rocket Senior excitable along with Rocke but were excited to introduce Rocket, RJ and Nebula to the delights of afternoon tea so were understanding they would ask questions about it hearing Rocke chuckle, as Rockai drank tea so knew RJ would be allowed to have tea.
"Yes mate you can, as Rockai drinks it as like you, he can't have coffee either or go nuts in a coffeehouse and nomming on coffee beans." he told him seeing RJ give him a look guessing his dad told him about that blushing making Rocket Senior confused.
"We'll tell you later about that." Rocket told him makibg him curious about that story seeing Rocke bringing teabags with peace-signs on them making Rocket guess it was his magical, mystery tea guessing he wanted to share some with Marie which he found sweet seeing him nodding as they were leaving, as Rocke opened a portal leading to Paris going through appearing impressing them including Rocket Senior, making Rocke blush with pride.
"A tenuki never reveals his secrets, mate." he said making Rocket smirk.
Rocket Senior understood as he was leading the way to Marie's bakery seeing peopke walking oht carrying bread or treats making Rocket impressed by this, seeing the bakery sign which was like the poofy wig Marie wore with quirky writing on it seeing Rocket Senior charging ahead with RJ giving chase thinking they were playing unaware his dad and Nebula exchanged a look knowing he had to use his manners since they were guests.
"Rocket Junior, cool your jets, we're not at home remember." Nebula heard Rocket tell the male-kit seeing him stop in his tracks before reaching the bakery seeing Rocket Senior stop too, realising he'd encouraged the male-kit to be mischievous blushing hearing Rocke and Rocket chuckle as they and Nebula caught up with them.
"Sorry about that, I just got excited, you know." he told them.
"It's fine buddy but let's go inside." Rocket told him opening the door gently.
"Bonjour mon amies and welcome to the bakery." they heard Marie saying making them feel welcome as Rocket Senior felt very comfortable yet the others were still getting adjusted to this, so she was making them feel welcome seeing Rocke give her the teabags making her curious listening to him explaining that it was his own special blend impressing her.
"Merci mon ami." she said to him.
"You're welcome I guess." Rocke said.
"It's okay buddy, you'll feel welcome in no time." Rocket Senior told him.
"I hope so, as she makes great baked-goods." Rocke replied.
This made Marie grin at his words knowing the Dynasty loved her baked-goods noticibg Rocket quiet and curious noticing humans were buying Marie's baked-goods despite the fact she was a raccoon seeing her give him a look making Nebula chuckle because it was like when he used to deny being one.
"Humans only see what they want to see, but the health inspector makes me anxious." she said.
"Ohhhhhh that makes sense, and the food's good, including the tea." he replied.
"So RocketvSenior told me you guys went to have afternoon tea at Marie Rockette's bakery, how did your like it." Shocket asked Rocket a few days later while she was visiting him hearing giggling as May and RJ were playing seeing Rocket Senior there grinning at him.
"Yeah we had fun, plus your dad had a lot of questions for Marie." he toldcShocket making her smirk as she had a feeling that would have happened laughing seeing Rocket give him a look seeinghim smirk, being his dad knowing he was still getting used to things knowing how Herbert would react if he met RocketvSenior making the chunky make-raccoon curious asking who Herbert was.
"He's my adopted dad who fouhd me, after Roxy kicked me out in the snow." Rocket told him.
"Ohhhhh." Rocket Senior replied drinking coffee
