Review Shoutouts

The embodiment of Weirdness – Yeah he still is a part of the Family so his relationships with all of them will still be important just like in the original story. If there's really any one's I'm really wanting to do it's Kazuko and Mayucchi's I feel like are really gonna be fun given his current position and how his early development with them is unlike with Yamato's.

Such as his with Kazuko and their proximity in Kawakami Temple.

And Nagamasa and Mayucchi's very natural affection for each other as shown during the Hot Spring Trip chapters.

The Storyteller993 – Certainly not the last person he'll be getting marked by.

Alyousifahmed4 – I actually looked it up on VNDB, turns out Ageha is not a love interest just a rival for Kinra for the MC's affections, it was just more pronounced in the anime.

The Goddess of War – Part 5

Momoyo, the Goddess…

June 9th, 2009, Tuesday

As soon as we got to school, the Academy was in a gossip uproar, apparently it got out that I somehow had defeated Margit in a duel; how that got out I don't know but the issue is now that people know a 2-F student defeated the new 2-S transfer it's not been the greatest.

By lunchtime I headed out into the hall and immediately I could feel stares on me and other students whispering…

"Oi, look… did you hear Nagamasa-san defeated that new transfer on her first day here in Kawakami?" One student said.

"Yeah, and if it had been Momoyo she would've taken longer to heal, but still it's cool how he was able to beat her." Another commented. I didn't really pay them any mind as I headed upstairs to the roof.

I finally made it up to the roof and saw that Momoyo was taking a pleasant peaceful nap. She'd even placed an 'Opening Soon' sign you'd see from restaurants on top of her. In short, wake her at your own peril.

"Momo-senpai, it's noon; it's lunchtime." I gently shake her to wake her up.

She stirs, "Hm…? Oh, Nagamasa… *Yawn*… You said it's lunchtime? I must've been asleep for a while, but I was sure to leave a note saying not to wake me."

"Oh stop it, it's lunchtime; let's eat." I offer.

"I'm not really hungry right now, my little protégé." And so she went back to sleep, but I knew she'd do that.

"I've got peach crumble cake and tea ~" I offered her.

"Ooh! Your homemade sweets!? I've got a second stomach for that!" That woke her right up.

"Mmm… it's delicious. The peaches are juicy, the cake and crumbles and sweet and moist, and it tastes so good." Hearing her say that I can't help but blush.

"I-It's not that good." I say nervously.

"Hmm? What're you getting all red for?" She teases me. "Well, here let me have some of yours."

"Good thing I came with some extra slices. Besides I have my own lunch still, here have some tea." I hand her a cup.

"If Mayucchi's the perfect wife, then you'd be a perfect house husband. *Om nom nom*" Momoyo comments while munching on her cake

"Yeah, I don't see that in my future anytime soon…" I say sheepishly.

The two of us look down on the cityscape from the rooftop, "So how long have you been up here today?"

"You make it sound like I do this every day. But… I think since second period. I got an 80 on my quiz." She sounded a little proud.

"See, I knew you could do it." I clapped for her.

"Well, I couldn't risk getting an F this time." She confessed.

"Maybe if you just put in a little effort you could at least graduate with a passing grade at least." I tell her.

"So, after that I decided I should reward myself with a treat." She replied, ignoring my last comment.

"By skipping half the day?" I say. "Come on senpai, you need to keep studying even a little or you might actually fail and we're just back to where we started."

"That happens, I'll just have to work hard once more." She replied.

"Hah, you really do just live in the moment don't you?" I ask her rhetorically. "Oh yeah, have you heard? Everyone's talking about the fight with Margit yesterday."

"That's fast. So what're they saying about my precious protégé?" She asked.

"The way people see it, I did it to teach her some kind of lesson, like some henchmen sent to give her what for or something." I said.

"Well it doesn't matter what others say." Momoyo replied.

"Yeah, you said it. Besides, I have no regrets in that fight." I stated.

"Good, that fight was a good one, and it was your first serious fight since you joined the Temple too. Who knows maybe you'll start getting challengers like me. If you find any strong ones, send them to me will you?" She looked wanting as she cracked her knuckles.

"But if I've already beat them wouldn't that mean they'd have no shot against you?" I pointed out the issue.

"Hmm… yeah. I'd really like a fight like you guys had. A really good one where I can be serious." She replied.

Hmm, probably best to get her mind off things, "By the way Momo-senpai, Moro recommended called Creature hunter, he and I have been getting into it with him and Yamato at the secret base."

It reminded me of Monster Hunter from my old world, so I really connected with it, sure I'd have to teach her all the ropes, but I think she'd like the challenge.

"You should join us sometimes. It's a fun game for co-op I'll teach you all the basics about it." I tell her.

"You control your own character right?" She inquired.

"Yeah, it's a very action-heavy game. You really have to be on top of things." I tell her.

"Hmm, sounds just like my thing." She said.

"Want to give it a try then?" I ask again.

"One of my fans plays it too." She points out.

"It is pretty popular right now with people." I reply.

"Hmm… gaming now and then doesn't sound too bad." Momoyo said. "But I don't have a copy of the game, just the console."

"Suguru from my class had two, so I decided to ask and borrowed one." I reply.

I handed her the game and she seemed happy. I had thought about the other day about how I wanted to temper her fighting spirit.

On the one hand, she seems interested and while we do hang out I want to get to know her more and more. This was the best way I thought.

I know for a fact I couldn't stop her from being a battle maniac, but I could soften her spirit and try and tame it.

"Hmm, there's so many controls to know…" She groaned.

"But once you get used to it, it's a lot of fun. Besides all weapons in the game don't have an disadvantages, just depends on how you work with it." I told her.

Slowly, but surely… I wanted to get closer to her this way.

June 10th, 2009, Wednesday

You know in some ways I'm thankful for being here. Being here in this world has changed so much about me for the better.

In my old life I was one if the ones who just rode life's wave as it came and confronted me. I took the road most often traveled you could say.

But after bettering myself here in Kawakami City and it's school; after meeting everyone… I've changed into someone I never thought possible and fell in love with someone I never thought possible.

But I have a promise I have to keep. If I don't, it'd spit in the face of all I've done, and it'd be an insult to her.

Back in school, during practical philosophy class…

Momoyo would think stuff like this was boring, heck I could even imagine her snoring right in the middle of it but the teacher to scared to do anything about it.

I'd meant to ask her how her progress in Creature Hunter was going, but our morning training routines didn't give us much chance to talk.

After school, we made it to the secret base in order to play the game together.

"These controls really are more complicated than I thought." Seems she still had the same issues as before.

"Well that's why I'm playing with you until you get used to it." My own character used a sword and shield combo with a lightning sword that had a high chance to paralyze an enemy.

"Well if I can't use my fists as a weapon, I'll choose… a Hammer." Slow, but strong and effective.

"I can see you using that. I'll use my lightning sword to paralyze enemies and support you so you can do the big damage." I tell her.

As we played we came upon a monkey like enemy that like to jump around the field it didn't help that Momoyo's instinct like in real life was to chase him, but I used my sword to paralyze him.

And despite her low health I'd use my healing items to support her. And so a few minutes later the victory music played showing we'd beaten the monkey boss.

"So that was fun then…" She seemed a little satisfied.

"I don't think I'd have won that fight without you." She tells me.

"Everyone who starts a new game like that has some experiences it's not a bad thing." I reply.

"If this were real life, I'd have taken that panther out in one punch." Momoyo said.

"Hehe, I got to say it was a bit different and funny seeing you all flustered from a game." I say with a chuckle.

"Hey! You cheeky little…" But then she calms down, "Okay, let's play some more."

"You want to keep playing the game right?" I didn't have a good feeling about this.

"Nah, I want to play Real Creature Hunter." She said matter-of-factly.

Oh shit…

"Why does that sound like bullying is involved?" She ignored me as she grabbed me.

"And you're my prey!" She then threw me onto the sofa and mounted me like before.

"Oh come… whoa!"

"Target captured. Objective complete." She said with a sadistic smile.

"Hah, but this is what you always do." I say simply.

"He-he…" Her smile stayed on her face.

"What's with that smile?" I asked worryingly.

"There's nobody coming around this time, so I don't have any reason to stop." Momoyo made her intentions clear.

"Why? What the hell did I do!?" I exclaim.

"Hmm, you didn't then where are you looking at right now?" She asks me.

"Well I can see you pan—Mmm!" I silence myself, but it was too late.

"You looked upon an innocent maiden's underwear. What a bad boy, you need to be punished accordingly." I could hear her crack her knuckles.

"Wait! Have mercy… don't touch any weird pressure points or tickle me!" I beg her.

"Then how about the one that gives you heightened sensitivity? Even a light breeze will give you a boner." She threatened.

"Hell no! That'd ruin my life forever!" I yell back.

"Well, that's enough joking around." She says.

"I don't feel safe still…" I say worried still.

"Let me strip you for raw materials now." Her smile was now mischievous, her fingers began unbuttoning my shirt.

"Hey… what are… you doing?" I was slightly taken aback.

"I told you I'm stripping you." Her smile didn't vanish.

"What happened to not joking around?" I asked her.

"Oh, but my precious protégé, this isn't a joke. So don't struggle okay? Hahaha." Her laugh made me further uncomfortable.

"W-what are you trying to do Momo-senpai?" I asked her in a panic.

"I'm trying to do this." She was still unbuttoning my shirt until she reached the last one, "See, you're all unbuttoned now. What do you think comes next, Nagamasa?"

"Mmm…" I was a bit uncomfortable to answer honestly.

"Okay, new question." And to my eternal shock she leaned down and whispered in my ear in the process bringing her chest to mine, "I've got you pinned, and I have your shirt off. So then, what do you want to happen next?"

Again being in this situation was unreal, I'd never had a girl do this to me before especially not one like Momoyo. But even so in this situation…!

"Say something." She demanded. Her trailing fingers go along my body slowly obliterated every thought crossing my mind and she knew it was effective.

"C'mon. Well? Aren't you going to say something?" She tempted me.

But I wasn't going to be cowed by her, "Could you start by getting off me?"

"Hoh? You want to resist again? But your body isn't giving me that impression. Even so I'm not letting you go regardless. And even if someone came inside, I'll just take you away and pin you somewhere else. And since no one seems to be coming, I have zero reasons to stop. Cry, scream, resist… but you're not going anywhere." She said with such finality I'm sure any other guy would've given up.

"But I know you hate losing don't you Nagamasa? So, how does it feel to be powerless against someone stronger than you?" She looked down on me. "Get used to it, cause you belong to me. Senpai and sensei, get to do whatever they want to their students. That's just the way of the universe."

"Well then, let's do this Yamato." She then pushed her fingers flat against my chest and in that moment a sense of calm flowed through my body, I felt better.

"After all that time looking at a screen, this should refresh your eyes." She told me.

"I can't lie, my eyes feel a little fuzzy, but they feel more… open I guess?" I never had eye problems in my old life or here really so I wouldn't know.

"Psyche! That's all I was doing." Like I didn't know already you liked torturing people slowly with their emotions.

She got off of me, "Hahaha, but that look on your face. You really were bought in weren't you?"

"I can't lie… it felt… intense." I confessed. With her personality it was hard to tell if she was ever truly serious or was merely playing it up for one of her extreme jokes like this.

"What's the point of having a junior or lil' bro if I don't have some fun?" She mused.

"My apologies if that felt more like something out of 50 Shades of Grey, thank you." I punch back.

"I'll admit I used to do this to Yamato all the time, but you're even more fun to do it too! I think I'd like to play with you even more! Hahaha!" She seemed to have fun with herself.

Well it is true we've been hanging out way more than what she canonically did with Yamato. He would've been eating up this attention, but I know better she's just doing this cause it's fun to her, there's nothing behind it.

Eventually someone else did arrive at the secret base, it was Chris, Mayucchi, Moro and… Yamato. This is a new combination, was Yamato hanging out with Chris or Mayucchi in his spare time?

Was he going after any of the girls?

But that thought left my mind as eventually everyone else arrived and things went back to normal.

But even still, my heart pounded just being near Momoyo. Despite all her joking my feelings wouldn't change.

June 11th, 2009, Thursday

After another crazy homeroom, lunchtime finally arrived.

"Oh hey, Nagamasa I bought you some of my best picture books." Capt gave me some rather thick books despite how they sounded most of them were novels actually with pictures depicting some of the scenes.

"Oh, thanks for this I owe you big time. Oh, here I had some extra takoyaki today, want some?" I offered.

"Really?! You got it! Just be sure to bring them back when you're done." Capt and I make the trade. While I really would like to read these myself, I have some of my own back in my room at the Temple.

"To be honest when you told me these were for Momo-senpai I was kind of shocked, she hated the last one we gave her, so I don't know if she'd like these." Capt warned me.

"Well unless we try we'll never know." I tell him.

"Just remind her to not sell them. These are my personal treasures." I knew while Momoyo liked fighting something told me she also liked the sort of on-the-edge of your seat kind of stories from books.

She had that same reply I heard from Moro with some of the manga she'd read so maybe a good old fashioned novel would do that even better.

And surprisingly we held the same interest in music too, Momoyo apparently had an inkling for rock and roll, but also liked softer music like jazz. Saying something like how it always gets her out of funk.

A commotion could be heard out side as a crowd was in the hallway.

"Hey Wanko, what's going on?" I asked her as I lightly pull her ponytail.

"Nwah, don't pull my ponytail!" She cried.

"I do it cause I want to, that and to get your attention when you don't." I tell her.

"Mmm… well I guess it's fine since it's you." She muses.

"Well, Onee-sama and the seniors did calligraphy today and their posting the best ones in the hall. Everyone wrote their favorite word or phrase." Wanko told me.

"Calligraphy, so I'm guessing Momo-senpai's is up there somewhere?" I mused.

"Of course! Check out the invigorating word over there. It's so cool!" And so we looked over and we spotted it a large drawing of the word 'Sincerity' with Momoyo's signature right beside it.

Oh yeah, she's the embodiment of Honesty and Sincerity (Same things really), no one could deny that.

Wanko smiled at her sister's work, "It's so intense, almost like it's alive."

"Yeah, like she ignored all technique and just went with her instinct; then poured her heart and soul into it. Seeing how much room it's taking up shows that." I commented.

"Oh, trying to butter me up eh?" Said girl put me in a headlock.

"W-when did you get here?!" I said trying to struggle from her hold.

"I've got some business with you." She told me.

"But seriously, you went all out on this thing didn't you?" I told her.

"They said to write whatever came to mind, and this is what I thought of in the moment." She replied.

"Well it fits, it is your motto after all." I say.

"Yeah. To live honestly, free of lies. To live true to your heart." She stated.

"Yep, yep. That's so beautiful Onee-sama." Wanko marveled at her sister.

"Right? So I'll be honest , Nagamasa. Yesterday after you left, I accidentally spilled some juice onto one of your favorite books you donated to the shelves, before long the stain spread through to other pages." She… confessed.

Twitch… Twitch… twitch, twitch, twitch, twitch… "Mmmmmmmmm!"

"Huh?" I asked twistedly.

"The one titled, 'Mystery of the Express'?" She told me.

"You mean one of my favorite mystery novels that I treasured?" I asked with a "smile."

"No bad. No biggie, right?" She asked.

"Wow. I wish I could be as honest and straightforward as you, Onee-sama!" Wanko now marveled at her sister's "honesty."

"Yeah, I never lie. In fact, I say whatever I think. So I won't beat around the bush here, either: Nagamasa, lend me some money." She asked as she stuck her hand out.

"Maybe you're a bit too honest! You ever think of that!?" I exclaimed.

"You're angry?" She noticed.

"The hell did you expect!?" I screamed again.

"Hey, stop it! I don't care if you live us if you're going to bully Onee-sama, I'll take her place!" Wanko stood up to protect her sister.

"Then take this!" I flicked her forehead.

"Eeek! Ouch! That hurt!" Wanko felt the sting of it on her right on the bridge of her nose.

She backed up as she whined, "Now you're bullying both of us…"

"I'm shocked Nagamasa… how could you be so cruel?" Momoyo held her sister as they feigned fear and glared at me.

"Oh don't even try to play victim here you two." I wasn't in the mood for this.

These two… always trouble if you asked me.

June 12th, 2009, Friday

Tonight was the Friday Gathering…

"I got some ham from my job. Bon Appetit!" Kazama brought some leftover ham he'd been given.

"Anyone want onigiri, I got a fresh batch here." I laid out some of my homemade tuna tice balls.

"Whoa, this ham is delicious!" Gakuto took a large slice of the ham.

"Your rice balls are always amazing Nagamasa-san." Chris complimented my cooking.

"Is it… tuna and mayonnaise?" Mayucchi inquired.

"Yeah, I just went with something simpler." I replied.

"There's also some tomato and cabbage her for the ham." I did so and while it was essentially the insides of a sandwich it was still good.

Everyone went at the ham or rice balls and enjoyed themselves. Momoyo even cut some of the ham and ate it off the knife.

"Look who decided to be a pirate; eh Momo-senpai?" I teased.

We then pointed out the missing trio of Miyako, Chris and Wanko. As Gakuto told us they'd gone to the rood to discuss something.

Wait… wasn't this when Miyako… Uh oh, nothing good ever came of that girl teaching those two anything about intimacy or anything erotic for that matter. But too late to stop it now.

While the rest of us enjoyed the spread, those three had been on the roof for quite some time already.

Everyone seemed to get along well with everyone checking up on the most junior of the group, Mayucchi.

"But there is one thing I've come to understand." Mayucchi said.

"That Yamato, Moro and Nagamasa are all secret perverts?" Momoyo said for shock value.

"Wah!?" Mayucchi's face immediately grew red and nervous.

"Hey, what gives!? Don't say that about us!?" Moro was the first to protest.

"Hehe, you always got us beat when it comes to making a comeback, Moro." I said.

"You got that right, it's like he's always primed and ready." Yamato joined in.

"Guys, calm down. It's not like she's wrong. So Mayucchi, what is it?" Capt asked.

And so Mayucchi asked Capt about how Momoyo being the physically strongest of the group wasn't the leader of the Kazama Family.

Oh yeah! I'd nearly forgotten this story when they were young. The first and only time Momoyo ever "lost" so to speak to Kazama when he refused to back down from her threats to make her leader of the group.

Eventually and despite some protesting from Capt, Momoyo regaled the lot of us about the story of how she challenged Kazama to be leader of the group back when they were children. No matter how much he'd been beat up by the young Momoyo he'd refused every time, despite knowing he was outmatched.

You had to give the man points, he had a truly indomitable will to be able to survive Momoyo; kid or not.

But back in the present…

After telling her story nearly all of the guys had backed away from Momoyo who looked around confused, "Hey why're you all backing up?"

"Uh, Momo-senpai… that's a bit intense." Gakuto said trembling.

"Gramps nearly beat me half to death after he heard about it, of course." Momoyo admitted. "But I learned a lot from that. At that moment, I think I became more mature."

"Huh. You sure about that? I don't see it." Yamato said.

"I don't know what lesson you took away; you sound and act the same as you did back then." I said as both me and Yamato were hiding behind the couch.

"Back in the day, I would've chocked both of you for saying a joke like that." Momoyo replied.

"Then it's a damn good thing you matured." Yamato replied.

"Hmmm… I don't know about that Yamato…"

Moro then remembered back then how Capt had called out from school because he'd been in an "accident" now they'd learned it was from him getting beat up by Momoyo.

"Yeah, that's why I think of Capt as a man." Momoyo says.

"I see…" I say. I know that shouldn't get under my skin… but still.

And after that despite revealing his more… "weaker" moment, Capt recovered and went back to his loud, excited self.

Eventually the roof trio returned; with two of them red in the face.

"…" Kazuko's cheeks were dusted pink.

"…" Chris's face was in a crimson color.

"What's with you two?" I ask them; they immediately recover.

"U-Umm, it's nothing!" Kazuko yells.

"Doesn't look that way to me." I got up but Kazuko backed way from me.

"What the…?" I said in confusion as both of them looked a bit lower… to a certain part of my body.

"Mmm… he has one too." Chris said embarrassed.

"One what… Miyako!" I turned to the purple haired archer.

"Kukuku… I was just teaching them basic sexual education that all high schoolers their age should know." Miyako innocently replied with her trademark smirk.

Haah… no use trying to talk to them I guess. I'll leave it be, but it's gonna be weird since I usually train with Wanko…

June 13th, 2009, Saturday

Normally at Kawakami Academy we had Saturdays off but today was one of those says we had to come to school.

Even worse for some it was getting hotter and hotter…

"Finally! This is what summer's supposed to be about. I'm all fired up!" Wanko cheered on the heat.

"At one point I would've disagreed, but feeling the summer heat while training just feels different on your body like you're shedding more fat off your body." I agreed.

"You see?!" Wanko was happy that she had someone to train with as a kindred spirit.

"For you two, it's the season to train." Miyako commented.

"Nagamasa-an, do you need any assistance? ~" She offered.

"No, not really I'm fine." I shot her down.

"I mean I could follow behind and carry your towel for you ~" Ugh…

"No, I'm just fine… really." I reiterated.

"Well here, you can have some of my Ultra Destroid drink, it's my own creation it'll give you all the energy you need ~" She gave me a thermos that I knew had to be filled with something scorching hot.

"No thanks…" I turned her down again.

"Tch..." She seemed to finally get the message the third time around, but with her you could never be too careful.

After Miyako brought up the idea to buy ice cream to beat the heat I realized I'd made a mistake agreeing in the moment, "That sounds good. I'd be down to chill…"

I then saw Miyako advance on me, "Chill ice cream. I was being quite literal!"

"I think I'd like to get some. Shall we depart?" Chris inquired.

Kazuko asked the others if they'd like to join in, but Gakuto and Moro refused citing they had "business" afterwards and that "duty calls."

"Aww. That's stupid! Join us!" Wanko whined.

"Now, now. They said they're busy, so they're busy." Yamato chided her.

"Moro, do you have some prior engagement?" Chris asked.

"Well more like an event." Moro replied.

"Today is the day of the Goblin's Banquet." Gakuto said.

Oh shit… not that crap. That pathetic gathering of idiotic virgins who are so desperate they bow before the biggest loser in all of Kawakami Academy, all the while not knowing it's a student of class 2-F.

Count me the hell out!

But Moro and Gakuto seemed resilient and were intent on going, which to Miyako's surprise when she saw the passion in their eyes.

And so once again, hard pass. Yonpachi eventually gets Moro and Gakuto and as everyone looks in the hallway there's a large group of students all of whom are male filing out with even Usami-sensei being a sort of chaperone.

Pathetic… truly pathetic…

June 16th, 2009, Tuesday

It was one of those days again, but this time the rain had been coming down constantly for the last three days consecutively and seemed to have no end in sight.

"I hope they don't cancel the sports festival. I here they only hold these events here at random depending on the season." I said.

"I hope not. That's my time to shine." Wanko seemed bummed by the rain.

Then came Inoue Jun, "Oh, Yamato, Nagamasa. Can I borrow you a minute?"

"What's up Class S?" I greet the bald lolicon.

"My oh my, if it isn't Inoue; what do you need?" Yamat asks him.

While I hadn't know the guy that long, the few conversations we did have were amicable among all the 2-S students despite his… "personality" he was a good guy at heart.

"Could one of you class Momo-senpai and as her to head back to her own classroom?" He asked us.

"Is this about the radio show?" I asked.

"Yeah, she can never stay in one place, doing whatever she wants. But yeah, we got to check over today's broadcast." Inoue told us.

"I don't get why you two do it together. Your personalities don't balance out." Wanko said.

"Well she won the popularity contest, but I'm a member of the Broadcasting club, so it's a duty for me to keep the show going." Inoue replied.

"I'll text her real quick, Yamato you call her. Still I'm surprised you don't know her number." I said.

"You know she doesn't give that out to guys, just cute girls she meets." Inoue said with some envy.

But eventually everyone else saw Inoue and the others started getting a bit hostile their seething anger starting to boil over, despite the fact that Inoue was probably more open-minded then the others in Class 2-S.

"Ugh… I'm getting a nasty vibe here." Inoue could feel the hostility in all its aura.

And so eventually everyone's attention was turned on each other by Suguru and Chika going at it; Yamato, Inoue, Mayo, and I headed out into the hallway to talk.

Apologizing for all of that nonsense, we left on a good note but then I saw that Inoue had left some papers behind it looked like some forms for the Broadcasting Club.

But thinking on the current state of things between Class F and Class S anyone outside or inside could practically smell the tension; you could cut it like a hot knife through butter.

"I'll be your bodyguard for both of you. I'm ready." Miyako offers when she hears us head off to Class 2-S.

"I think I can take care of myself, and we're sure that's not necessary." I tell her.

"But intel suggests 2-S is hostile territory." She counters.

"Fine, fine. Come along, I know you just want to keep us safe." She smiled at that.

"At your command." Miyako said.

The three of us head for said enemy territory, the dreaded Class 2-S and I realize this will be my first time coming inside their classroom although I have already had a few encounters with some of it's more… Eccentric students.

"Excuse us." Yamato says as he opens the door.

Looking around we saw that nearly all of them were studying in complete silence, you could indeed feel the difference between both classes; the carefree and independent Class 2-F and the more rigid, stern Class 2-S.

"We shouldn't stay here long." I comment.

"Yeah, but where's Inoue's desk?" Yamato asks.

Unfortunately we were spotted by none other than "Miss Nobility" herself, Kokoro Fushikawa, "Oh, what a stench. How did some monkeys get in here?"

"We used this thing we call it a door; did you know about it?" I sarcastically reply.

"Hmph, hiding behind crude sarcasm. Expected of a monkey of Class 2-F." Oh dear god, I want to rip out her vocal chords…

"Who's she?" Miyako sarcastically says.

"No idea." Yamato replies.

"How dare you lot ignore me!" Kokoro sounds annoyed.

She was always the one to escalate fights, I knew this girl's disdain for Class 2-F was deep, but to say that she didn't happen to voice the majority of the class's opinion wasn't wrong. Sure people like Aoi, Koyuki, Jun and heck even Hideo wanted to keep the peace, but this girl…

Speak of the devil, "Mwahaha! What troubles you, Kokoro?" Kuki notices our presence.

"Oh, it is you Nagamasa and… are you not Yamato of 2-F?" Hideo asks us.

"Do you know where Inoue's desk is Hideo? Inoue left behind some forms in our classroom earlier." I tell him.

"You come seeking a sudden audience with Us? Surely you must know to make an appointment ahead of time…" Hah, why dude, why?

"Amazing. I had no idea there was such a kingdom where a foreign language was spoken." Miyako once again sarcastically replied.

"Well that's one way to put it." Yamato seemed to agree.

It was at this point nearly the entire S class was staring back at us and smiling for whatever reason. But their eyes showed nothing but contempt, which I'm sure is what their smiles were made of.

"Oh, it's both Nagamasa and Yamato-kun. I wondered what was causing a commotion in our classroom. Have you come to see me?" Aoi comes over.

"Oh well, can you give these to Inoue or leave them in his desk? He left them in our classroom a little bit ago." I hand the forms to Touma.

"I would love to, but I'm disappointed now. I had hoped you were here to ask me out for tea." Aoi said expectantly.

"Hell no…" I replied.

"Let's go, Miyako." Yamato turned to tell the archer, but to our surprise we saw her and Koyuki staring at each other.

"…" Neither said anything as they merely stared each other in the eyes. Were they sizing each other up? I never understood this.

"Yuki?" Even Aoi was confused at what was going on.

"…" The two merely continued to stare at each other.

"Hello!" Koyuki then energetically greeted Miyako.

"Hello…" Miyako gave the opposite amount of energy.

"Want a marshmallow?" Koyuki offered the archer a single marshmallow.

"I'm good…" Miyako softly rejected the offering.

"But they're so yummy…" Koyuki seemed sad by Miyako's rejection. "You're sure? No need to hold yourself back."

"I'm good." Miyako repeated.

"Mm… *sniff, sniff*." Koyuki then softly sniffed Miyako. "Hm… I thought… maybe we were similar… But we're not. Definitely not. So yeah, no marshmallow for you." Huh?

I don't get this…

"Oh, Nagamasa! Do you want a marshmallow?" She turned to me and happily offered me the same fluffy sweet that she'd offered Miyako just before.

"Eh, Nagamasa do you know Koyuki from somewhere?" Yamato asked. Oh right, he didn't know…

"Well… it's hard to place really. Sorry that's all I got really." I told him, I still didn't have my mind straight on why I was so strangely drawn to Koyuki.

Was the person I was inhabiting friends with her when they were kids? Or… No, that's just wild, I was brought here I couldn't have been friends with a fictional character. What am I thinking?

"Naga?" There was that familiar nickname she had for me; she still had the marshmallow in her hand. "You don't want it?"

"N-no… I'll have it." I took it and popped it into my mouth. Huh, it really was just a normal marshmallow.

"Tra-la-la-la!" I say Koyuki happily skip away. "Bye, Nagamasa!" She said happily.

I will never understand that girl…

Eventually the three of us leave and the suffocating feeling from before disappears.

"Ne, Nagamasa…?" I feel a voice in my ear.

"What's your history with Koyuki?" It was Miyako, a jealous Miyako to add.

"Like I said I can't tell you. I can't… remember." I honestly tell her; she seems to see me struggle to remember anything as she backs off.

"Sorry, she was just being so familiar I got worried like a newlywed." She said.

"Let's divorce, I can't take this anymore." I say sarcastically stealing a quip from Yamato.

"Aah, so cruel… just like Yamato! ~" She said as she held her cheeks with a bright blush.

But as we returned to our classroom, that nagging feeling in the back of my head told me that underneath all that pressure… there was a war brewing. An inevitable one.

June 19th, 2009, Friday

Eventually the rain passed, and it was announced that the Athletic festival would continue. Umeko-sensei was telling us about our team, the Seiryuu Army for this year.

Mayo then gave me and Chirs the rundown on the different groups that participate in the athletic festival and how lots are drawn to see which classes are put in which armies.

"Ume-sensei, a question. What army is 2-S in?" Yonpachi asks.

"2-S? They're in the Seiryuu Army as well." Umeko-sensei replied.

"Hey, hey, hey! We have to team up with them?!" Yonpachi was shocked as were many of the others who felt angry at having to play nice with their most hated rivals.

Umeko-sensei shut down the riled up talk, "Enough. I'll be handing out a document about the teams this year."

"Loos like Mayucchi and Momo-senpai's classes are in the Byakko army." Yamato pointed out,

"Oh, no. We're all split up then."

"I feel like this is going to be a massacre if not us surviving by the skin of our teeth." I comment.

Everyone let's out their frustrations musing that they won't get to face 2-S as they've done before in other events and duels.

But some were hopeful, like Kuma-chan and Mayo who wanted peace between the two classes, but just like with Kokoro, it seemed that the majority in Class 2-F also seemed to be on the brink of war.

It was then I felt a vibration in my pocket, my phone was on silent mode, but the vibration was silent.

It was from Momoyo, and it was titled "Order from your Master" it read, 'Homeroom is so boring… Tell me something funny."

In the meantime, Umeko-sensei was busy chastising and correcting Kuma with her attention drawn I sent a reply, 'Not now, not while Ms. Whip's in here.'

Almost as soon as I sent that, a few seconds later she'd already replied, 'Boring. Nagamasa, head for the base after school to face your execution."

Unfair woman… completely unfair… Just then another text, 'No reply… from my precious protégé…'

Oh quit with the victim mentality already. She really does get bored easily.

This time another reply came with the subject line saying only, 'Whatever'

It read, 'I know what I mean to you now. Fine, whatever. Don't come apologizing later either.'

If this continues I fear she'll do something drastic, so I decided to bide my time as I watched Umeko-sensei, just one opening is all I need!

"After the athletic festival will come semester exams." Umeko-sensei was staring directly at all of us. No too risky, she sees everything like a hawk.

'No, no, no… not yet, not yet…'

As she continued to speak she eventually spotted Haguro napping in the middle of her doing so, "Hm? Haguro! Did you just nod off in my class!?"

"Zzz… Hm, what? Oh… shit." Haguro realized quickly she was in trouble.

"It's time for your punishment. Grit your teeth, Haguro!" Umeko readied her whip as she cracked it.

'No, not yet all she's done is ready it…'

"Let's go Haguro! Let's hope this keep you from being a slob in the future!" And now her whip echoed throughout the class.

"Haow! Oww! Aoww!" Haguro screamed out as she whipped over and over again.

"Now think about what you've done!" Umeko said.

'She's distracted with Haguro, now's the time!'

Again Momoyo was quick, 'Oh, you replied! Yay! Not so hard is it?'

'Oh shut up…'

But at least I satisfied her. Mission accomplished, I guess…

Sating the Goddess of War, was quite the challenge indeed…

But far away in a country across the Pacific…
