Chapter 2 Penny New Beginning
Sheldon standing frozen in front of Penny apartment door, before finally his brain start to function again. Sheldon feels weird, as to why he stand frozen from just a kiss. It is not like this is his first kiss, as the first time Sheldon stand frozen is when Paige kiss him in their senior high school.
"Hey buddy, want to tell me what just happen there?"
Leonard anxiously following Sheldon into their apartment
"About what?"
"Well, how about who is that girl?"
"Isn't that obvious Leonard? She is our new neighbour"
"I mean why she is kissing you?"
Leonard start to get angry at Sheldon.
"Who knows?" Sheldon shrugged his shoulder "If you so curious, you could just ask her"
"You know what?! I think I will"
Leonard start to step outside of their apartment, while Sheldon shaking his head. Leonard jealousy towards the woman who favoured his working colleague, never fail to impress him.
'I better hurry'
Sheldon look at his watch and take his apartment key before stepping out his apartment. When he step outside his apartment door, Sheldon noticing that Leonard conversing with Penny.
"As you know curry in laxative, so it can help you clean your stomach"
"If you tries to court a girls, it would be better for you to start talking about bowel movements"
Sheldon sigh at Leonard courting attempt, while Leonard look at him with full contempt.
'Something never really changed' Penny start to giggling, happy that Sheldon she knew never really giggling drawing Leonard attention back to her.
"Aw honey…are you asking for date?" Penny look at Leonard,
"Well…are you interested?" Leonard hoping that Penny would agree,
"I think I will pass Leonard, thank you though Leonard"
"Really? Are you sure?"
Leonard give his best hurt puppy look making Penny start to get uncomfortable, because she know what it means,
"Yes I'm sure, once again Thank You Leonard!" Penny voice start to rise,
"Please Penny, I order too much for one person and my roommate is going to go out for the day"
Penny start to get annoyed her conversation with Leonard only going round and round, Penny eyes start to twinkle when she sees Sheldon standing there in front of the apartment doors.
"Hey Sheldon, are you going somewhere?"
"Yes, goodbye Penny. See you later"
Sheldon in the middle texting when Penny ask him, before finally go in hurry. Penny could only sigh when Sheldon step down the stairs in small run, Penny attention been divert when Leonard call her.
"So…?"
"There is no so, goodnight Leonard!"
Penny angrily closed her apartment door with a little bit of force,
"See you later then"
Penny could still heard Leonard voice from behind her apartment door, Penny start to get irritated to Leonard behaviour. Leonard could never accept a rejection, and he never acknowledge that he is been rejected softly. What makes matter worse is that Leonard easily holding a grudge, Penny knew that softly rejected Leonard advances would only makes Leonard become bold.
Penny start to scratch her head because her new life is not even start, yet troubles already brewing in front of Penny. The sound of Howard and Raj entering Sheldon apartment, only make Penny sure more about the brewing troubles in her new life.

Sheldon in his truck, driving Janine to their new house, more accurately their house, where Sheldon, Missy and Paige plan to live together. Sheldon already buying 12.250 square feet house, the house itself located in Wentworth Avenue.
What Janine carries with her is the essential, like her and Marcus important belonging in the truck while she already carry most of them. Sheldon already prepare most of the stuff for Janine and their son Marcus, which is why Janine sell most of her stuff before moving.
"Thank you Sheldon, for allowing us to move in"
"Never mind that Janine, after all Marcus is my son"
Janine smile kissing Sheldon in his cheek and putting her hand of top of Sheldon hand.
"I just hope you don't mind with staying together with us"
"It's alright Sheldon, after all I already come to terms with it"
Janine felt a little bit of disappointment, after all she would need to share Sheldon with Paige and Missy. Sheldon let out a small smile, while hold back Janine hand.
"I already arrange a lawyer to represent you in the divorce proceeding" Sheldon explained,
"Thank you Doctor Cooper" Janine playfully replied,
Janine and her husband is still in the middle of their divorce, while Sheldon hates to be seen as the third guy that causing Janine divorce. Janine and her husband relationship already deteriorated, long before Sheldon and Janine had relation.
Not long after that, they already arrive at their destination. Paige and Missy already wait, right at the moment Sheldon truck door open. Sheldon open the door for Janine, then give Paige and Missy a kiss.
"We already arrive champ" Sheldon pick up sleeping little Marcus from passenger seat,
"Here! Let me take him" Paige take Marcus from Sheldon hands,
"Do you need help?"
"It's okay Missy I will take out and deliver the rest inside. Could you show Janine his room?"
"Follow me Janine, I will show you your room"
"Jen, you could call me Jen"
"Are you going to be okay do this alone?"
Sheldon just smiling to Janine and kiss her, before she finally following Missy inside. Sheldon then quickly take all Janine and Marcus belonging out of the truck, into their room and neatly arrange all their belonging in the room. Sheldon know that Janine is taking a bath, when he hearing the shower on.
Sheldon walking back into his room, noticing that Missy and Paige is not in the room. Sheldon decided to take himself a bath, after all the time outside.
'They probably in Marcus room'
Usually Sheldon, Paige and Missy sleep together, their absence in their room is because they in Marcus room.
"Finish taking bath?" Sheldon just nod when Paige ask him,
"I will check up Marcus" Sheldon start to walk away,
"He just back to sleep Shelly" Missy counter her brother,
"You know I hate been calling that" Missy just smiled hear that,
"Missy is right Sheldon, you must not wake the baby up. After all it's been quite long since you came home" Paige and Missy start to undress,
'It's only been a few day'
Sheldon inwardly sigh, well he cannot deny that he also enjoy their time together besides sex. Sheldon then also start to undress, when Paige and Missy approaching him. Then they start to take turn kissing Sheldon, while their tongue start to battle for dominance.

Leonard start to get frustrated that morning, because all of his advances has been rejected last night and in the other side his roommate managed to score a kiss. Jealousy start to bubble inside of him, is not like he never been jealous towards Sheldon from the beginning. Leonard always notice how the woman always approach and gather towards Sheldon, his tall and muscular roommate.
His mother always said about his insecurities towards other people success but Leonard choose to ignore that, after all he always assume that he is a successful scientist. Maybe not in the grand scale like his sister and little brother, but Leonard is much more successful compare to others people.
So that morning Leonard start to choose to change his tactic, by stealing his neighbour mails. Leonard start to let out a satisfied sigh, imagined beautiful babies that he and Penny would have while carrying Penny stolen mail before he goes to work.

That morning is go quite usual for Penny, that still searching for her next job and go to an audition. Luckily Penny always remembered the place she used to work, cheesecake factory. So, once again Penny happily apply to the cheesecake factory as a waiter and got accepted.
Her day is fruitful, making Penny could not contain her joy and smiling along the way from cheesecake factory to her apartment. That is until Penny goes to her mailbox.
'Leonard!'
Penny could not contain her anger when she sees her empty mailbox, and remembered her ex-husband MO in approaching a girl is by stealing their mail and pretended the mail to be wrongly delivered to him. Luckily for Penny, she is suddenly heard Sheldon and Leonard voice arguing before an idea suddenly popped off into her head.
"Hey, Sheldon"
"Hello Penny"
"Hello Penny" Leonard lovely said,
"Oh yeah, hey Leonard" Penny easily brush him aside,
Leonard look toward Sheldon with hatred, when Penny only greet Sheldon but not him.
"Sheldon do you accept any of my mail?" Penny ask Sheldon while they walking on the stairs,
"I believe I accepted your mail it is in our apartment, I'm afraid they wrong about the apartment mailbox number" Leonard hurriedly intersected the conversation between Penny and Sheldon,
"And how exactly do you know about Leonard? Penny not even only just stay a day in this apartment and especially arrange for her mail to be delivered directly to her apartment number" Sheldon raise his eyebrow,
Leonard start to sweat before finally it dawned into his realization "Wait…What? You arrange Penny mails?"
"Yes, that is right. Do you need for me to spell it for you?"
Leonard struck hearing this,
"Come into our apartment, let's see if your mail is indeed end up in our apartment" Sheldon gesturing Penny with his head,
"Thank you Sheldon" Penny smilingly reply,
Penny could not help but feeling nostalgic, when she entering Sheldon and Leonard apartment. Penny feet draw her toward Sheldon equation board.
"Sheldon what is this?"
"Well this is my equation that I'm working on"
"Wow…are you one of those 'beautiful mind' guys?"
"You know what…I'm guess I am"
Sheldon then start to explaining in great detail, about what he is been working on. For a while the entire space fell is belonged to them for Penny, before she finally draw out from her trance by Leonard voice.
"If you want to see a board, I got mine" Leonard push his equation board towards Penny,
'Not even I'm his girlfriend, yet he is already so jealous' Penny eyes finally wide open to Leonard possessiveness,
"This is your mail Penny"
Sheldon search among their mail while ignoring leonard furious look towards him,
"So Penny want to eat some dinner together?"
Lenard ask Penny, hoping that she would agree,
"That is right Penny, consider this is my form apologies for all you troubles"
"Sweet! So could I order whatever I like?"
Sheldon just nodded toward Penny, while Leonard switch from angry to happy because at least Penny agree into go to dinner with them.
"So could I order Indian food?"
"Definitely, this is their food catalogue"
Sheldon kept some food catalogue from restaurant for them to order, whenever they decided to order food from their apartment. Leonard in the other hand look worried when Penny decided to order Indian food, Penny just smiled when she noticed Leonard worry look.
Suddenly the apartment door open and Howard and Raj enter Leonard and Sheldon apartment.
"Hey guys, you should see this video. This is video of Stephen Hawking lecture before he got robot voice"
"It's awesome"
"Guys…It's not the right time"
Leonard hurriedly tried to kick Howard and Raj out of the apartment but unfortunately for Leonard, Howard and Raj gaze directed directly towards Penny.
"Hello mademoiselle, my name is Howard from applied physics department on Caltech"
"I'm Penny a waiter working at cheesecake factory" Penny wave her hand and then looking towards Raj "So you guys working together with Sheldon and Leonard?"
Raj just nodded
"Are you understand me?" Penny confused because from her info Raj is no longer mute among woman,
"He's okay, it just he nervous whenever he meet with a girls for the first time" Howard answering Penny,
Sheldon then claps his hands stopping people from their conversation "Okay, time to order guys"
Then they spend all of dinner time, while casually chatting about their job in Caltech to Penny. Penny in the other hand, tell them about her auditioning for movie role. While they talking Penny occasionally stealing glances toward Sheldon, Penny notice that Sheldon now looks manly and now no longer dressed up like teenager.
Sheldon right now look manly wearing white tee that showing his muscles and black pants, Sheldon also no longer awkward when talking about relationship with woman. Sheldon still Sheldon in a way, he still had his preference and that is making Penny smiled.
By the look Leonard giving them, Penny knew that Leonard jealousy already goes through the roof and it just a matter a time before he would finally blow up. After they done eating, Sheldon start to washing the dishes while Penny decided to help him by cleaning the trash off the table.
"Not even you're the last man on the Howard" Penny once again rejected Howard that tried to hook up with her,
"Come on, just stop that Howard" Leonard look annoyed,
"Okay everything done" Penny finishing wiping the table,
"Thank you for your help Penny, you know you doesn't need to do that"
"Stop that! That's the least I could do after you invited me to dinner to dinner Sheldon"
"But that's apology dinner"
"Come on Sheldon, after all friend help each other right?" Sheldon nodded back smilingly.
"So do you want to watch Stephen Hawking lecture with us?"
"I'm sorry Leonard but I will rest back to my apartment to rest" Penny politely reject Leonard
"Let me accompanying you to your unit" Leonard hurriedly following Penny out.
"What I wouldn't do, so I could tap that ass" Howard said as soon as Penny out of earshot,
"That disgusting Howard" Sheldon gaze angrily to Howard,
"Yeah dude, after all Leonard already called dibs" Raj added,
Inside of his unit Sheldon start to sigh, thinking about a possibility of protecting Penny not only from her abusive but also from his roommate.
Meanwhile in the hallway, Penny facing another dilemma because Leonard asking her for a date.
"What do you mean dinner together? With the other guys?"
"NO! I mean just for you and me"
"I'm sorry Leonard but I would not date anybody at this moment"
Penny start to massage the bridge of her nose, when Leonard asking her for a date.
"So is that means…" Leonard look hopeful,
"Not with you Leonard" Penny cut him off,
"Goodnight Leonard" Penny quickly enter her apartment when Leonard does not reply her back,
Leonard silence, tell Penny everything about Leonard. Penny remembered the second a girl hottest than her came around, Leonard would be quickly ignore her in the favour of new girl.
'Guess something never change after all' Penny thought.

The next day Sheldon as usual has been busy from the mornings and in the afternoon he had a call from Penny.
"Doctor Sheldon Cooper speaking"
"Hello Sheldon!?"
"Hello Penny, what do I own the pleasure for you to calling me?"
"Sheldon do you mind sign for the furniture that I ordered?"
"I do mind, I also need to remind you though that I would probably go home late so it's quite impossible for me"
"Please…Sheldon…I also don't know the time when the furniture came, I only ask in case the furniture arrive and I not there to accept it"
"Fine!"
"Thank you Sheldon"
Sheldon then walking to the parking lot, he then sees that Janine smartly manoeuvre as if she accidentally walk from the parking lot to the building. Sheldon then quickly opened his truck and Janine also quickly get in when automatic door lock been opened, their relationship must remain secret.
Sheldon and Janine meet with Rebecca Nora Bunch, one of the lawyer Sheldon employed in his company. Sheldon knew Rebecca as one of the most talented lawyer working in her field, but what confuse him as to why she work for him.
Rebecca Bunch used to be a lawyer that received high wage in one of the top firm in New York, so it kind of confuse Sheldon as to why she move to Pasadena to work in his company. Rebecca is someone that Sheldon meet during summer camp, Sheldon been forced by Mary Cooper to enter church summer camp.
So that afternoon Sheldon, Janine and Rebecca decided talking their business over dinner.
"I see no problem with this, and Miss Janine you said that you are already separated?"
"Yes, my husband and I already separated before Sheldon and I started our relationship"
"That's right, but even then they are still married when Jen got pregnant" Sheldon add,
"It would become complicated because Jen married status, but I would see what I can do Sheldon"
"Thanks Becca, this would mean a lot for me"
"You're my boss Sheldon, of course I would help you but please next time avoid to doing something like this"
Sheldon and Janine blush embarrassed, especially for Sheldon who is known for his brain falling to his lust.
"But as a payment I want you to do something for me?"
Rebecca said with playful glint in her eyes, while Janine grew nervous watching Rebecca look towards Sheldon. Janine grip Sheldon hand, she intended to reject Rebecca request on Sheldon behalf but unfortunately for Janine.
"I want you to go to date with me" Rebecca quickly utter her demand,
Sheldon quickly spit out the water that he drinks, while Janine look annoyed.
"Excuse me?!" Sheldon wipe his mouth with napkin,
"I said, I want you to go to date with me" Rebecca smiled,
The rest of the afternoon become a debate between Rebecca and Janine, but it would change soon after they spend their rest of their time together in the hotel room.

Penny confused in the morning, as to why Sheldon are not back in his apartment that night. Penny knew Sheldon already changing compare to her previous life, but a least there is something remain from Sheldon that she still acquainted.
That is also something that Penny convince on, especially after her talk with Missy. A fellow whom travel back the time, somehow a time travel ideology is a concept that Penny accepted after her long talk with Missy. That is why Penny blackmailed Missy into helping her, by threatening to expose her true relationship with Sheldon.
As usual that morning, Penny been prepare to jog around apartment complex when she heard a step from the staircase. To her surprise, Penny sees Sheldon walking up from the staircase still wearing yesterday clothes with the trace of hickey on his neck and lipstick on his clothes.
Well Penny quite familiar with this situation, because usually she was the one on Sheldon position. Wondering what could happen, Penny decided to tease Sheldon.
"Good morning slut!" Penny laugh a little,
"Good morning to you too Penny" Sheldon meanwhile look embarrassed,
"So? How the rest of the night? Who's the lucky girl?"
"It's my date Penny and I don't like to share my private life with other people"
'Well there is a difference between Sheldon and Leonard, I guess!'
Penny remembering Leonard that always looking so smug after bedded a girl, even goes as far as boasting it to other people. Penny also start to remember to when Leonard show his colleague her naked scene from her movies naked apes, goes even further Leonard seem okay when his colleague disrespect her after that.
'Well he only time he look embarrassed is when she sleep with Mrs. Latham' Penny cringed remembering Caltech fund raiser,
"Now excuse me, I need to take bath. It's time for work"
"Okay then, see you later Sheldon"
"Goodbye Penny"
After that Sheldon enter his apartment in hurry, while Penny just smile looking at his discomfort.
'It's a good thing sometimes for people to get changed'
Penny look at Sheldon closed apartment door and start to think when Sheldon protected her from ex-boyfriend.
Later that evening Leonard, Howard and Raj working together, try to pick up Penny IKEA package from downstairs into Penny apartment unit.
"You know dude this is sucks!"
"Raj is right, why the hell did you agree to do this?"
Howard and Raj start to get pissed,
"Come on Howard, it would be good to help people" leonard start to convince them
"And the truth that the people that you try to help is beautiful girl fine ass, is nothing to do with it huh?" Raj questioning Leonard motive,
"Leonard is right Raj, sometime a bro must help each other so there is a chance for him to tap that ass"
"I did not help Penny so I could sleep with her!"
Howard and Raj look toward Leonard at the same time and raise their eyebrow.
"Okay, maybe I help because this is helping me to be together with me" Leonard said with low voice,
"How do we do this? This is heavy enough even with three of us lift it" Howard nodded to Raj statement,
"Come on guys! We are physicist we are intellectual descendant of Archimedes, give me a fulcrum the lever and I move the earth" Leonard give them encouragement,
Sometime later the three of them successfully lifted Penny furniture into the fourth floor and into Penny apartment unit in 4B, but when they tried to assemble it for Penny. Leonard, Raj and Howard confuse by instruction from IKEA, tried to gather material from garbage dump to search for better materials.
Penny then choose to it by herself, leaving Leonard, Howard and Raj embarrassed when they come back to Penny apartment.
