Walking into the park they had agreed to meet up at, Nanashi can barely contain himself. Here they are again! All together! Well, almost all of them.
They still needed to track down Nozomi, but they'd burn that bridge when they got to it.
Looking around, Nanashi quickly spots the group. As soon as his eyes land on Flynn, he breaks into a sprint.
Asahi's comment in the group chat hadn't been off the mark. Despite not being blood related in this world, or the last, Nanashi and Flynn had grown to see each other as brothers. And damn did Nanashi love his older brother.
Flynn feels a sudden force impact his chest before he falls to the ground. Looking down, he quickly identifies the source as a very excited Nanashi, who is now clinging to him. With an amused chuckle, Flynn returns his younger brother's hug. It had been far too long.
Walter looks down at the two, an amused smirk on his face, "Well, well, well. Looks like the little man has as much energy as ever."
Hallelujah jogs over, "You're damn right he does. A little warning before you charge off next time? With the speed you were going I assumed you were about to throw yourself into a fight."
Nanashi sticks his tongue out at Hallelujah, "You're just jealous I'm giving someone more attention than you. I'm afraid you'll have to wait your turn this time pretty boy, this is a family matter."
Hallelujah's face goes red at Nanashi's comment, and he starts tripping over his own words, "I- You- Wha-"
Toki and Asahi catch up, the former prodding Hallelujah's shoulder, "If you don't close your mouth you're gonna catch flies."
Hallelujah just nods and closes his mouth, not even responding to Toki's comment.
Asahi snorts, looking between her best friend and the stunned Hallelujah, "Whipped."
Hallelujah blushes harder, face flaring in a mixture of embarrassment and indignation, "Am not!"
Toki rolls her eyes, "Keep telling yourself that loverboy."
With a tired sigh, Hallelujah just lets it go. Continuing to argue would only encourage his friends to keep picking on him.
Turning back to the group, looking around at (almost) everyone gathered together again… Damn, this is nice.
