It was a beautiful morning in one of the many mountain ranges of Japan. The heat was perfect, the wind blew a nice cold breeze, birds chirping to one another, and a baby screaming his lungs out…

…wait, that last part didn't sound right.

"Hey Gorou, do you hear that?" Miki asked her husband. They decided to take a morning walk towards the shrine when she began to hear the child cry. Gorou would look around to see what she was talking about before the wails entered his ears.

"Is that… a…" Gorou was about to say something before Miki decided to grab onto his arm and began pulling him through the forest. "W-Wait! Hold on, Miki!"

"We have no time to waste, Gorou!" She exclaimed. "You know how dangerous the forest is!" They continued to run through the forest, hopping over dead trees. Like a weird amount of dead trees, especially for this time of the year. Gorou realized this and began to worry slightly. As the cries continued to grow louder and louder, the more destruction that was laid before them before they reached a massive crater in the ground. The hole was at least 100 feet deep that cleared out everything in its vicinity. The only thing left was…. Well, they didn't know what it was. From they're perspective, it looked like some kind of metal ball. All they know is that the crying came from here.

"Hey Miki, you remembered that shooting star from last night, right?" Gorou asked her.

"Yeah…" She answered.

"Do you think that this could be…" When he said that, Miki's face brightened up in excitement before she started sliding down (carefully) towards the metal ball in the middle of the crater. "H-Hey Miki, the hell are you doing?!" Gorou exclaimed before following after her.

"Gorou! Don't you see?! This is the wish! Our wish!" She said as she knelt before the pod. "Although, this version is a bit different from what Mother told me. She said that it's usually a stork that delivers one…"

"Maybe the stork delivery had a pact schedule . But something on the lines of this seems unbelievable…" He said as he put his hand on the pod before looking through the red clear portion on it. Then whatever was inside of it put something on the glass. It looks like a human hand. Gorou then looked around the pod, feeling it around too. "Something like this must have some kind of opening…" When he said that, a small piece of the pod cave inside of it, causing it to hiss open. Both Gorou and Miki stood back as it reveals a small baby boy with weirdly spiky hair wearing nothing but a diaper with a long tail. On his face, he was wearing something that looked like some kind of eye protection. Miki walked up to the small child before picking him up and holding into her arms, slowly rocking him gently.

"Shshshsh… hey, it's ok. There's no need to cry little one…" she said towards the baby. Slowly the baby would stop wiggling around crying before calming down. "See, you're okay now. I got you." Gorou would walk up beside her to get a better look at the baby.

"Huh, you managed to calm him down…" He said.

"Simple mothering technique," she explained, tickling the baby with her finger, causing him to giggle. "So…what should we name him?"

"Huh? Name him?"

"Babies need a name. Plus, this is our special child that the heavens had blessed us with, so it should be something special."

"Hmm…a baby with a tail that came from heaven…" Gorou thinks to himself as he takes the eye protection thing off of his face before getting a closer look at it. "Monkey from Heaven….what about Goku?" He asked her.

"Hmm…Goku Hyoudou… eh, it doesn't roll off the tongue that well…" she said.

"Well do you have any better names?"

"Well, I do have two…. But after getting a good look at him, I've decided on Koto."

"Koto?"

"Yup. Koto Hyoudou. Hopefully he'll be pure like his name." She said as she raised the baby into the air. "You hear that little guy? Your name is Koto Hyoudou!" She tells him, both of them smiling and giggling.

April 16, 2003. Tokyo Hospital's maternity ward

"Congratulation, Mrs. Hyoudou! You have given birth to a boy! And a healthy one at that too!" The doctor told the barely conscious Miki.

"A…. a boy… you said…" she faintly said.

"Yes. Would you like to hold him?" The doctor asked before he handed her the child wrapped in a blanket. His head only had a few strands of hair, but she even knew that the boy would be receiving a lot of things from her later on in life. "I would let your husband know that everything was a success and allow him to see him too. Excuse me for a second." The doctor said before leaving the room. A few minutes later, Gorou with a year old Koto would walk inside the room. At this point, Koto is able to walk on his own, but decides to be carried by his father. Miki saw the both of them walk in and smiled.

"He's beautiful…" Miki said.

"I guess he takes that from you," Gorou replied. "Have you thought of a name for him?" She nodded her head to his question and smiled.

"It's the same name from back then. Issei."

"Hmpt. Purity and Honesty huh," Gorou would chuckle to himself. "Quite the zany combo, right?" He then set Koto next to Miki. "Look Koto, here's your little brother. Make sure to take care of him along with us, okay?" Koto would reach his hand out towards the newly born Issei and would hold onto his hand. Issei, while slightly weak, would squeeze his hand, making Koto smile brightly.

"Hello, little brother…"
